It should be as Feng is not a licensed character.
Yui's new skin is not purchasable with shards. Nea's new skin isn't either. So it's 50/50 if Feng's will be.

Update: Didn't notice that the video couldn't be watched. Reuploaded it.
-
@GRT_Alkaline Nicely noticed, I forgot all about it.
-
I thought about the same thing, but it's not a problem. What matters is how many totems can be lit at the start of the Trial. If there are no Totems avaiable when Lingering Soul activates during the Trial, then it'd simply not activate, similar to NOED.
-
The challenge's not as bad as it sounds. I managed to do it in 2 games at Rank 1.
-
No worries, I watched the anime :)
I understand why You'd want Her to be a heavily obsession-focused Killer. However, when creating Her kit I was thinking of a similar Killer that we already have: Myers. He too is an Obsession Killer, but rather than giving him Obsession related powers, Devs focused on Obsession related perks and add-ons. That's why in my version of Yuno Her power is unrelated to Obsession.
And to be honest, there's only one person she'd be really obsessed with which wouldn't make a good power ;)
-
Thanks! Personally, I like the idea of killing someone with a Mori, rewinding time to before they were killed and killing them again ;)
-
Link to the video (since You didn't post it):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wlve3UWLkEEWhen I first read the title, I thought You meant adding Yuno as Survivor so I didn't think it'd work, but as a Killer? Most definitely yes. I would love to see Her in game and I think I got inspired to make a chapter for Mirai Nikki.
As I've made one anime chapter recently, I've thought about about issues relating to them somewhat. And the biggest one is I think the art style of anime and DBD are vastly too different. You'd need to redesign anime characters from scratch to give them more realistic looks. At best, they'd look like some cosplayers. Might look good, might look bad. Some random example:
-
It's a feature added in Patch 3.6.0 (9 March 2020):
Content - Added a high-ping indicator to the HUD, displayed when the local ping to the server is above a certain threshold (white icon for 150ms, red icon for 300ms)
-
With recent Hillbilly changes, hopefully no F anymore.
(@LowSpecGamersMatter - it's from Kaguya-sama: Love is War; I was just watching it recently and made some things inspired by it: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/170063/paragraph-x-trailer and
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/170110/paragraph-x-chika-time)

Hm.. I could agree that blocking all gens while HD is active (similar to Corrupt Intervention) could be a nice idea to make the game longer and give some more help to the Killer.
But I don't think powering doors would be good. First, You could end game after just one HoD and HD activation, making it miserable for the Killer. Secondly, they're not meant to be endgame events similar to EGC.
-
Maybe not realistic, but I'm rooting for Legion. With all the Killers stuck together in one place, You could just be running in Frenzy all the time. Eventually they'd bleed out, no?
-
You made me think of adding Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World characters to the game.
As Survivor: Natsuki Subaru - it wouldn't feel weird to see him die over and over.
As Killer: we could add the Assassin Girl or Cult Leader as Killers, but I was thinking more of getting Legendary Skins of Rem and Ram for Oni.
-
This reminds me of when they added swimsuits to Friday the 13th. I wonder what happened to that game after that?
But being serious, somehow I don't think it would suit DBD. The game right now has too serious atmosphere? LIke for example, many people wanted new gestures (finger guns) but it doesn't look like we'd be getting them anytime soon.
I have some doubts whether more revealing clothes would even look good. Maybe after graphics update?
-
From Wiki: "Ghostface (alternatively stylized as Ghost Face or GhostFace) is a fictional identity adopted by several antagonists of the Scream series.".
So it doesn't matter who dresses up as Ghostface, what important is the Ghostface looks/persona/modus operandi.
-
Personally I like Midwich and very much dislike The Game, despite them being similar. I find Midwich much easier to navigate and find pallets/loops than The Game. To this day I keep getting lost in the lower levels of The Game, unable to find any stairs and the only pallets I can find are the God Pallets near the Basement.
-
-
Other concern I thought of, is that increasing Exit numbers is not possible on some maps, like Lery's, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, The Game, due to how these maps are structured. Redoing the maps could be too much work just for a fun gamemode, so they might be disabled?
And having just 1 hatch should be enough, might be unfun for last survivor if one killer bodyblocks the hatch instead of closing it and powering up exit gates, but it's not gamebreaking and not a hostage situation.
-
One concern I just thought of, would be the Exit Gates. If Killers cooperate with each other, each can just block one Exit Gate (bodyblock it from being opened) and just hold game hostage forever. I guess 3 Exit Gates would be a must?

Hey guys, Billy buffs incoming in patch 6.1.0., just wait till then.

I feel like people would click on the Random button, see perks they don't like and randomize the perks again or manually pick what they like.
Rather than that, there should be Random checkbox next to the Ready button in Lobby, that when You select it randomizes Your loadout in the last 5 seconds before match starts so You can only learn Your perks in-game.
-
As others already said, most Hex Totems (except NOED) spawn at the start of the game, so cleansing random dull totems won't do anything to them. What I think might have got You confused, was when You get cursed by hexes and when are You notified of them.
By design, You are not automatically notified at the start of the game that there is a Hex Totem in play. Only once the Hex actively affects You, You get a notification that You've been cursed. In case of Ruin, You get the notification when You start repairing a generator and then stop and trigger the regression. In similar fashion, just touching a generator will reveal Huntress Lullaby, touching any totem will reveal Thrill of the Hunt, cleansing a dull totem will reveal Retribution.
Worst Hex perks are the hidden ones. You won't get notified of Devour Hope till it gets 3 stacks and Killer downs someone with the instadown attack. Same with NOED, it doesn't get notified until killer instadowns someone. And Haunted Grounds is notified after You cleanse it, but by this point it's too late.
-
Traps get activated each time a generator is finished. So once all generators are finished, any leftover traps You have become useless.
It used to be a thing, that traps would automatically activate when You put them on survivors when all generators are finished, but I think they removed that mechanic when they introduced Endgame Collapse, as it made Pig's endgame too strong, I think?
And about running out of the door, trap will only explode when it's active. If it's unactive, survivors are free to run out.
-
I do agree that Adrenaline seems fine right now. They only change that I would really defend would be removing the wake up part; Adrenaline was buffed solely to counter old Freddy and it would be good time to revert the change now. We could even compromise and move this effect to another perk. We do have one that is actually called Wake Up!
And after thinking about the delayed healing again, I thought it could be used as a counter to NOED. Think of this situation: You're injured in a chase, last gen pops, Killer has NOED now.
What will Killer do?
1) Hit an injured survivor and reveal NOED to all healthy survivors. You get hooked, teammates cleanse NOED, You get saved but by the time You are unhooked You've healed 1 health state and are free to escape.
2) Hit an injured survivor and reveal NOED to all healthy survivors. Then proceeds to chase after another survivor and leaves you slugged. 16 seconds pass, You heal from Adrenaline and run away safely.
3) Leave You and go look for a healthy survivor to use NOED most efficiently.
In all these hypothetical situations, delayed healing actually rewards You.
-
I copied this from DBD wiki (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Danny_Johnson_alias_Jed_Olsen):
1) The Ghost Face can be revealed by Survivors within a range of 32 metres him by default.
2) Survivors need to see at least 20 % of Ghost Face's body within the centre 26 % of the Player's screen for at least 1.5 seconds to reveal him.
3) If The Ghost Face is being spotted, an audio cue will play to both the Killer and the Survivor who is spotting him.
4) While crouching, less of Ghost Face's body is visible, thus making it harder to reveal him.The same applies to leaning around corners.
-
I was confused at first too, but when You get close to the Crown You get the "[Space] Pick Up" option. Just pressing Space doesn't work though, You need to hold the Space button till all the animation plays out and You get the crown. As @FichteHiro said, You'll know when You're done when golden glow appears on Your screen.
-
For the "'protection hits' are very hard to get", there's actually a way to get protection hits 100% ot the time. Trick is, all hits You do while transporting a Survivor are counted as protection hits. I'm having fun right now with Agitation+Iron Grasp+Mad Grit+Forced Penance. Granted, it may not work against sentient survivors, but games where You catch all survivors off guard and slug everyone are priceless.
-
-
I feel like getting Crown Cosmetic should depend (on Survivor's side, maybe Killer's too) on getting Black Pip or +1 Pip. On Red Ranks that I play actually escaping alive is rare occurence, rather what matters is how well You played overall in the match. In Hallowed Blight, event similar to this one, at least You were allowed to keep some of the Nectar even if You died. Now it's all up to chance that You run into potato Killer at Red Ranks.

Hi there,
as I understand, current Developers' stance on Challenges is that You can finish every Tome from Prologue to Epilogue without having to pay or buy anything. However, that does not mean completing every challenge, as some of them require You to have certain paid characters. To counter that, every character that's required for current Tome goes on a temporary sale (50%? I think). They are not given out for free, though.
Also, the challenges won't disappear even if You don't do them right now, You can always finish them in the future when You get the characters or perks You need. And I think there are people posting videos on Youtube with Lore from the Tomes if You really want to see it right away.
-
Since I've seen them in other 1v4 game (not BHVR's game), I kinda want Danganronpa Legendary skins in DBD as well.
-
Probably would appear as a charm.
-
I don't like The Game much, too many generators located right in the inner corners, just inviting Killer to suddenly pop up in Your face. And pallet placement is iffy, there are god pallets around and above the basement area and nothing else in the rest of the map.
Lery's is ok, not much to complain here. Looks really nice after rework.
Midwich I love. Not sure why everyone complains about it, I manage to loop Killers around whatever pallets there are and after You memorize the layout, staying on second floor makes You quite safe against the Killer.
Can't comment much about Killer's perspective on the new map. For some reason I can't get any games as a Killer while Survivor's get matched instantly.
-
The build I use is: Third Seal + Infectious Fright + Knockout + Deerstalker (optional). Knockout for early game when not everyone is blinded yet. Infectious to silence any witnesses.
-
On PC (Steam), can confirm it as well.
-
You say there was no change to Repressed Alliance, but I found one:
Repressed Alliance: You can no longer block a generator if another ally Survivor is working on it
-
1) It would rise the same way as Plague's power rises right now; exact speed would be up to the balance team to decide (that's why I'm not too precise when I write things)
2) I was thinking that his power would at least raise the panic level 1 stage up
3) It would limit it 1 stage; so when You start out (as Survivor), You start in Blue stage; if You get hit by the Killer power You would go into Green stage and be unable to recover below Green for the rest of the match; hit again and You're Yellow for the rest of the match; hit again and You're Exposed forever
4) One thing to note, successful Scissor Cut triggers his power as well, not basic attacks only
5) For Scissor Cut, I was thinking width similar to Demogorgon's leap and length about twice the normal Killer's lunge? Again, it's up to balance
6) Personally, I'm a fan of False Escape, I'd say it's the closest thing I could think of when trying to translate Clock Tower's (1995) mechanics into DBD; it relates directly to when You try to escape via the car in the original game https://youtu.be/TgBNZJgZfSA?t=226
7) I'm having doubts about Unlikely Friend as well. I wanted a perk that utilizes crows to make them help You; in original Clock Tower crow acts similar to DBD's Decisive Strike, but I didn't want to make another strong perk like this, so I ended up with this.
8) And lastly, Loud Walking is another perk that translates Clock Tower mechanics into DBD. I've watched CT's walkthroughs on YT for the research, and protagonist's loud walking really stood out for me. But despite her walking so loudly, Killer never seemed to know her location, so I started thinking what if that was some kind of superpower of hers? I like Iron Will as well, but I could argue that against Spirit with Stridor, Loud Walking would make her life miserable ;) Niche use, but still useful ;)
-
I just played like normal till late game, then allowed killer to hook me near open gate. I struggled to get to the second phase, then using Kindred+Camaraderie+DS I had my team do a clutch save against facecamping huntress and escaped safely from the Trial.
-
Mine would be: each additional hit in Feral Frenzy reduces the cool-down of Feral Frenzy (the stun You get after exiting FF)
-
Forced Penance needs much longer duration, about 60 seconds could be good?
Trail of Torment needs changing from unlimited aura reading range (which I assume it is now) to 32 meters, same as Better Together, otherwise it would be useless for mindgaming. Better Together is currently the only perk that highlights gens in yellow to survivors, except Red Herring but it shows aura only to You so it doesn't matter. If You see gen in yellow from all across the map You instantly know 1/ Killer is running this perk, 2/ Killer's exact location.
I wonder how Deathbound will stack if You heal multiple survivors. Will you be bound to many survivors at once or only the latest one? Also what does one health state mean, do You need to do it in one healing or will game keep track of Your total healing done in game?
-
Hmm... we just got Red Herring so another Diversion-like perk may be overkill, but I decided to take it. It's better than the other idea I had of creating brand new pallets by survivors, at least balance wise.
-
I mean, isn't RE:R gonna be another DBD-killer similar to Friday the 13th, Hide or Die, Last Year etc.? Seeing how effective they all were, we gotta keep tabs on competition.
-
I found a neat little post about how survivors are not a team but collaborators:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/discussions/0/1694923613864136635/
or
As such, it is not necessary to play friends with other Survivors and You can just focus on Your own survival - is the concept behind my character. Of course, stealing someone's item right at the beginning of the game may tilt them and sabotage the game for everyone, so why take a risk? Wait till 5 gens are done till You reveal Your true colors ;)
-
End of Men - I think that having the perk only activate on Mori kills would make it very niche. Usually Survivors don't gather round to watch Killer performing Mori (except Ghostface, everyone's in to take a selfie together ;) If You want to buff it more, how about making it activate on 'completed sacrifices' as well? You know, killing someone on the Hook.
First of Ten - 8 feels right to me. You can hook each Survivor maximum of 3 Times, for a total of 12 Hooks in game, which theoretically equals to 12 Downs. Enabling mori at 75% completed Killer objective seems fair?, since You can't cleanse it like Devour Hope. If You slug a little, You should be able to earn second Mori. Requiring only 6 downs could make the perk too easily abusable.
Afraid - Just a quick idea I got. For some reason, I started thinking of Beast of Prey while thinking about Afraid, so how about making people in Your Terror Radius scream and reveal their location each time You gain a Bloodlust Tier? Or not TR, just in range of 32 metres or something, so You could combo it with Beast of Prey or stealthier Killers.
-
End of Men: Writing 1.5/2/2.5 like this reminds me more of LoL Patch Notes rather than DBD ;) How about just making it flat 3 or 4 seconds?
First of Ten - surprisingly balanced if not little underpowered. 8 downs for a Mori, while similar Devour Hope requires just 5 downs and doesn't require stacking up again and also gives You instadowns on 3 downs but can be cleansed at any time. Also a little bit funny how You called it First of Ten, then lower required Tokens to Eight.
Afraid? - Stridor is superior in every way, I'm afraid?
-
15 seconds it is. I was also thinking how bad Michael would get countered by 30 seconds immunity.
-
Hey there, I checked out Your chapter. As I see it, our perks' relation would be similar to relation between Calm Spirit and Doctor's Power, so in Devs eyes it would be acceptable. Druid also has many other powers to use, and Raven's power is used mainly for locating Survivors, similar to Doctor. If You think it'd be a problem, maybe change it so that instead of having only 6 Ravens, You can deploy maximum of 6 Ravens at a time? Similar to Hag's trap count.
-
Changed the crow perk to enable manual trigger; changed Copycat a little to be more player-controlled.
