For 2, it takes away from the "survive" experience. By not giving survivors a chance to actually get free from the hooks, you're taking away the horror movie feel the game is SUPPOSED to have--getting caught, escaping, only to potentially get caught again; that is a horror movie staple. It's part of the FUN.
And by hook camping, you are taking away that fun. I don't see what the [BAD WORD] possible gain the killer gets from hook camping. Are these guys just tryhards with nothing better to do than to swell their e-peens?
Funny, but most horror movies end pretty devastating for the victims
So did pre-nerf mori matches.

The downside is consuming a med kit, having less of said medkit before hand, the price of the medkit, the price of the needle, and the VERY rare status of the needle. Couple that with having to chase teammates down and NOT be doing gens to get the heal off, and it being useless against a killers (much stronger I add) insta down, and that’s you’re price for bringing it.
It absolutely has downsides AND risk reward. So tell me, how is any statement you made correct?

It’d hard from a technical stand point, the unhook animation is really fast, lag or FPS drop would alter it, and it could be used for sandbagging at a crucial moment just like farming.

I hope I'm wrong but this reads as if there could be a problem gameplay-wise:
If the killer has to hook a survivor in order to be able to destroy a Vessel, the survivors will most likely have collected the Vessels already before the killer could destroy them.

Why would the devs purposely undo the changes they made to make it possible to hide behind a generator?

Discuss...You can’t use “average killer”. For perks like these, you must ALWAYS keep thevfact that hillbilly exists in mind. Him with bbq on rotten Fields is straight undeniable cancer. Also it does show auras as intended, and gens are meant to block ahead, which is why the gen color changed to a deeper color, to better block auras. Also lockers are solely dedicated to blocking auras, so a random ass perk shouldn’t defeat that entire purpose. Same goes for distortion.
So instead of using an average killer on all maps, you want my baseline to be a single killer on a single map? Great way to balance perks! Awesome suggestion! No wonder you are so giving with your opinions! They are fantastic way to balance a game!
Quit cherry picking what I say. I’m saying it should always be kept in mind if some perk or add on will break some function of the game. This is the exact reason tinkerer was completely changed. Quit putting words in my mouth.

Removal of tinkerer which proves my point
What point is that? That the Devs were unable to support the original design and "reworked" it? Does that prove your point that Billy is OP? I think not... what it does prove is that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about:
Source: https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Tinkerer#Rework
Tinkerer required an immense workload of additional coding each time new Add-ons were created, since the Developers had to work with a static buff and keep mind that Add-ons without it shouldn't be too weak and those with it shouldn't be too strong. They compared that workload to having to create an additional set of Unique Perks for the Killer, something they were no longer willing to do and thus intended for Tinkerer to be reworked eventually, which happened with Patch 2.1.0.
I never said billy was OP.

Yh, cuz you dont see my point, which is:
He is playing without perks, but even if he'd be playing with perks that would not make a big difference because the perks that actually do something rely too much on luck (Ruin) or have too many counters (BBQ). They dont rely on the killer being a good player (unlike survivors).
Killers literally rely on the survivors making mistakes.
Take fighting games for example. Yes, you can punish your opponent if they make a mistake or you can predict how they are gonna play and counter them.
As killer you have no way to predict if a player spawns near your Ruin or a survivor who gets inside a locker or runs distortion.
The fact that killers cant have the possibility to predict how a survivor is gonna play is awful, add to that the fact that killers dont have enough time to wait for survivors to make a mistake in order to punish them because of the time It takes gens to be done and you'll have a game that needs a big change on it's core mechanics.
What about the perks I said? You seriously immediately lept back to the perks you yourself already explained? I provided an actual build, prove to me why running that wouldn’t make a difference.

That's when I see teabags, when they'd be stupid to keep running and abandon an unbroken pallet that they could jump over if I tried to go around.
So, instead of being condescending and dismissive, maybe you should think a little harder.
I understand certain pallets require you to stay, but it’s completely unreasonable to assume the unreasonable are reasonable.

Yeah about the DS: with any other killer I would have slugged 100% but with nurse you can make the decision to eat it cuz you can down them very quick again.
The issue about slugging: you don't find anyone else, you lose the slug, slug gets picked up -> you won nothing. And the stream sniping?

The biggest reason why it is so commonly used is...because it boosts your BP two times for very easy action that you will surely do each game.WGLF is the equivalent of BBQ for survivors, minus the aura reading (while useful, it's not as game breaking as you may think so), however... WGLF forces you to play pretty altruistic, often farming other survivors. Not everyone likes to be altruistic and getting said stacks isn't as easy as hooking all 4 survivors once.
Speaking of that, I wish for WGLF to be buffed, in that there are more ways to get tokens.

I’m not gonna sacrifice a fix to dodging, connection issues, lag switching, cheating, faster bans, and most of all..... removing a killer on ps4’s ability to delete survivor save data by closing application... all because your ass can’t back up a few feet and not lunge into the next dimension. There is way too much to lose by not including dedicated servers.
That PS4 issue with killer dcs is one of the biggest reason I am looking forward to dedicated servers. I hope the switch will finally fix that issue. Lag switching, cheating, and finally banning for dc abuse is up there on the list.
I know! I can handle anything in game, but tampering with my save data because they lost or they’re having a temper tantrum is absolutely disgusting. It’s also ridiculously common
