Will you even safety with two DCs and two one hooks? I played along with a few teams during the event and I usually do it with DCs too and survivors get greedy and want you to waste time giving them all those points and then they want more with the gates. Which leads to them getting a single or double PIP while you barely safety a lot of the time. It's fully understandable why people don't want to waste time with that.
-
Okay I might have made that up..

That early prototype killer was called "smasher" right?
Hulk jr.

I even saw my name on the Goodyear blimp. It said ghostface a shrimp.

It's like Predator 2 but not as good

I might get it after I see how it performs. I've got a ton of Speedway points I could buy the game and dlc with.

Well wasting that much of everyone's time is still a dick move.
Oh I forgot, it's only a dick move if a survivor wastes a killer's time.
If nobody is committing to ending the game quickly then you can't pin it on one side. Survivors have to try to push in and make progress however they can when they get themselves in that situation. The killer not taking obvious bait when the balls in their court is a bad move.

It did sound like you weren't able to find anyone except for Jake just before the last gen popped. Anyways it's still a cheap move to facecamp because of cosmetics especially when it's a face for a killer you clearly don't even play often based on the fact you had to facecamp to get him.
Most people don't complain about getting turned into open gate bait anymore because they know it's the only good option the killer has left. If I can't pull off a PIP before gates and I'm the one that gets caught at the end that's on me I shouldn't be salty that my potential double was denied. If I get a single I'm sure I did twice as good as a killer that didn't accomplish much all game and things worked out as they should.

I fully endorse your opinion.
Wraith is good in the right hands AND with the right build. Full stealth Wraith has got me more 4K's than Trapper, Piggy and Doc combined.
I barely even chase when playing him, but I bodyblock a lot. I just smack everyone's ass out of the blue and disappear again. Run Nurse's and if they try to no-heal? One shot.
Yeah I was gonna say I've seen some Wraiths do damage and they did it by being body blocking machines.
-
I just play to camp.

I've never used it because I feel like I win more of my time back by using BS and it doesn't take two slots. The occasional hit from what I've seen in videos doesn't justify all of that real estate imo. I also feel like I end up getting those hits anyway because people don't know when I'll choose to respect a pallet or not. Something being popular doesn't neccessary mean it's the best thing out there. I've noticed a couple of people I watch are starting to shy away from the combo. It looks cool and very slasher esque and probably makes you feel like a God, and I suspect that's part of the reason people that make DBD media have stuck with it for as long as they have. It leads to downs but so do other perks that only take up one slot.
-
Idk really as you gotta adapt and switch up the mind games with her from person to person. The biggest one is to use headphones if you don't already. I normally just use speakers but with her it's pretty important so I'll slap on the old hd600s. I usually go with a speed and duration addon and sometimes just double up on one or the other. 👼

I dislike NoeD from both a survivor and killer aspect. I think it's a cheap unearned perk. I admit it's a powerful and well designedish perk, but when I see a killer use it *no shot at anyone* its usually a bad killer who needs NoeD simply because they be bad and cant get the down normally. Usually as survivor the only time I encounter it is when the buddy and I have a crap team so we rush to gen rush.
Though no one has no excuse not to do dull totems anymore simy due to the increase in BP.
As a killer I dislike it simply because did I really win the game or get better if NoeD finishes the job? Not really. It does not actually help you improve. No shame to anyone who wants to use it that's just my thoughts.
If you pipped you would have pipped using something else most likely. NOED isnt going to give you the win against good survivors. It is pretty weak against high rank survivors that are used to finding and squashing Ruin within the first minute of the game because they just do the same thing at the end. That one kill that you camped the hook for isnt going to do much for your score if you weren't playing good throughout the match. Even if they're stupidly altruistic and let you get a 3k you'll still depip if you didn't play good.

Personally, I don’t give hatch but I don’t slug to get the 4K (generally) either. I give them a chance to get it too, but I don’t want it to be a freebie just cause they happened to outlive the others. That being said, I probably would give hatch if it wasn’t for the fact that if a dc or selfish teammate happens, I let all other survivors go by default. I’m not gonna push that on others, I’m a huge advocate for everyone playing pretty much however they want, but that’s my general attitude, excluding exceptions.
Same for me most of the time. I give up a for sure slugger more often than not just to make things interesting.

That you can achieve without "stealing" it, just take it when survivor is sacrificed, etc..
True I mean the name sort of implies that that's what you're doing but I don't see any caveat about doing it otherwise. It's still pretty much irrelevant because I somehow missed that you were doing the chest thing .

It depends on the person I suppose... How big of an Evil Dead fan are you? Personally I would have paid up to $10 play as the legendary Ash Williams, but that's just me. I've had a "Bruce Campbell vs The Army of Darkness" poster on my wall for since the 90's so to me Ash is a steal at $5. (An "Evil Dead Chapter" would have been better though... A "cabin in the woods" map, maybe an "Evil Ash" Killer or Hillbilly Skin lol)
As far as Perks go though, I'd say it's worth it just for Flip-Flop. Combine it with Perks like Unbreakable, Slippery Meat, etc for Survivor capable of really making a comeback when the chips are down... And without the help of teammates.
Not to mention you can always get the Legion for free using shards. It's all depends on your individual tastes I suppose.
I thought a Sporit skin would've been nice because she's pretty much already a deadite.

Slugging for a 4k when you don't have eyes on the last survivor just causes the game to drag out for a ridiculous amount of time. It's just a 4k, not a winning lottery ticket. There will probably be more stringent D/C monitoring when dedicated servers come up.
It's often the difference between a PIP or coming up short. Survivors usually aren't shy about sneaking between gen tapping and hiding when there's only two of them left which can drag the game out longer than the bleed out timer. Neither side would budge on hatch stand offs either before EGC. If people can't handle crawling around for four minutes in hope of maybe getting the hatch by crawling in or getting saved for a potential key escape that's their issue. I normally gamble but I don't have a problem with people trying to secure the 4k every time they get a chance because chances are their opponent isn't worried about wanting time for the win either.
-
I guess it depends on your playstyle but GF is more fun for me. There's nothing in this world I enjoy more than creeping around and stalking people and he allows me to utilize my skills. I wasnt too into Plague until the no heal strategy became popular because you basically had to hit people three times but most of the time now it's one good puke on everyone and then one hit downs up until gates. Watching people run around barfing everywhere is kind of cool too but I'm still going with GF. He's not up there with the top dogs and you'll probably get destroyed by special ops teams most of the time but he's not far behind and can be a hoot when people aren't calling out your location to each other constantly. I've probably gotten more "you gave me a heart attack" type comments with him than any other killer I've used.
-
Doesn't Noob3 almost always play survivor? I know for sure that Monto mixes it up a lot
-
That's just a staring contest and he's too inbred to realize masks don't blink.
-
We'll have to wait and see what happens but most killer mains agreed with her addons being OP too. Freddy got nerfed initially because an outcry of ...crying came in right after he was released, before anyone could have possibly taken the time to learn how to play against him. That was a bad call imo but a nerf isn always a bad call. Base Nurse seems fair to me so as long as that stays the same and only the addons go bye bye I can't really call foul.

Mute buttons exist
Anyone that gains a victim complex from voice chats when a mute option is present is wanting to be a victim.
I want to hear the whine in their voice when they cry for me. You can't escape the sore losers so like Ro I've learned to enjoy it.
-
People would just leave others hanging longer so they could finish the gen nearby and Fred would take a hit to his map pressure that he desperately needs. If you want to tunnel you can just stay within proximity of the hook to begin with but I suppose teleporting makes it easier to not hurt your emblem scoring and use MYC. If you're paying attention you should have enough time to not get downed right away.

noed is for bad killers that cannot secure their kills during the 5 gens + end game period.
and it boosts them to purple/red ranks
change my mind
If a killer is actually doing bad they'll be lucky to safety pip while if the survivors did good up until gates they'll likely pip sacrifice or not. NOED isn't used nearly as much at high ranks and that's because it takes bad teams to get destroyed by the perk. Good teams lose one person at the most or they cleanse the totem at the end and get the the save, and that's if anybody gets downed to begin with.
I've barely used the perk at all and I've wrecked so many teams at end game despite not having it. NOED only works because people make bad decisions. You can cleanse totems before or after gates or you can just not make really bad altruistic plays and minimize its impact. I don't use it not because I'm a really nice guy but because there are better perks I can use in its place. I experimented with it for about a month and seen just how weak it is against people that know how to handle it. Give me something I can use throughout the whole game instead.
-
If you patrol the map you get a good idea of where things are going on anyway so I haven't used it for a while. Well until using the new fred yesterday and it was mostly because I didn't have other perks for him that'd I'd rather use and I needed BPs to get them. The gens I planned on teleporting to before bbq popped were usually good calls but it saved me from wasting time here and there. I feel like whispers serves the same purpose considering people aren't in the same spot by the time you get there most of the time anyway and Whispers works all game.
-
I personally don't dodge at all but I'm outta my ever loving mind. I'm kinda whatever about other people doing it but it can get annoying after two or three people do it in a row when you just want the damn game to start.
-
They just need to to fix the insane loops at the buildings. I've come to accept Bamboozle as a must for the majority of killers if you don't want to get shat on in certain maps. I haven't used Freddy much at all since clown came out and couldn't unlock Bam with the million BPs I saved, and out of five games I played I had two that were excellent reminders of how broken some of the loops are still. There are other loops that are probably too strong but they can either be mind gamed in a much more reasonable time or rendered weak by breaking the pallet.
A player good at stealth has an advantage with the game being so loop centric and I like the option to choose personally, but loops could still use a bit of reworking.

Folgers in your cup.

Burn him alive?
-
It would allow killers that run multiple hex perks to defend their preferred perk but you can't protect them all at once and one is sure to go down either way if the team is decent. Defending totems period relies on a team being hell bent on breaking it to really be effective. Otherwise gens are getting done while the killer wastes time pointlessly camping their totem. Of course placement can make it more or less effective but you still need to get downs and totems tend to break when you're busy doing your objective. I don't really see it being OP at all.
Both this and a totem counter would be fine in the base kits imo.

I only use BBQ for bloodpoints.
Rly, I forget every time that this perk has an aura effect.
It just doesnt fit my playstyle.
But other perks that would fit my playstyle are just trash.
I usually forget to check for auras when I use it too. It sort of serves a similar purpose on the killer side as DS because a lot of people will assume you have it from the start or at least after you make a good call after a hook.
-
I'd rather it be base than attached to SG. The more common small game becomes the more trash trap killers become.

When they are outplayed, immediately suspect stream sniped.
I know there are many decent streamers as well, but No don't give them more authority to ban ppl. Many of them just simply accuse everyone.
I watched a few videos of streamers I played against over the weekend and one said I was 100 percent stream sniping because I bumped into him in the corn field. It happens but so does paranoia.

@George_Soros "You can't use it for real stuff (work), you can't upgrade it, and you have to put up with paying more for games than on PC. "
Paying more for games? Dude...
Games For Gold... If you are an Xbox Live Gold member you get 4-5 free games every month. 2 Xbox 360 BWC games, and 2 Xbox One games. Then sometimes there is a 5th game that's free all month.
Gamepass Ultimate... I just converted 2 years of my Xbox Live Gold to Gamepass Ultimate for $1. I can play like 100+ games for free right now (and my subscription lasts until 1/1/2022). And they add new games all the time.
Deals For Gold... If you have Xbox Live Gold they have deals every month, usually like >50% off the full price.
Xbox One X was $500 on launch, now it's on sale (IDK what the price is currently). A decent PC will set you back $1000.
So I'm not really sure why you think we pay more for games. Yea you probably have a lot of free games on PC, but we aren't really paying that much for games. New AAA games will be $60 no matter what platform you play on.
It depends on the game but some are a lot cheaper than PC when bought used. I don't mind paying a little more though so that most of the money actually goes back to the people that made the game. Steam get their 20 percent or whatever it is now too but what evs.
-
It's situational but I typically go for the farmer. Sometimes the farmee hops in front of you or doesn't move and I interpret that as you knowing you're safe or at least thinking you are because of BT so I might give you a nice little whack across the kisser too. If the farmer uses a speed perk to quickly get some distance I'll down the person getting farmed if they're close enough to hopefully keep the gens safe while I apprehend the suspect at large.
Really it depends on which killer you're using, what the team brings in item wise or just how well they're playing if you have any room to show mercy in the first place. There's no reason to ensure your loss when your opponent isn't pulling any stops. Capitalizing on a few mistakes still isn't even going to grant you a safety on its own.
-
I got Monto impaled yesterday and that felt pretty good. I only safety pipped but considering it was the only game I played this week I was satisfied.
-
It seems more often than not there's at least one person that waits until the last second or doesn't ready up at all.
-
I thought Nurse was the worst killer ever when she was first released. I've since learned not to jump to conclusions.
-
Im pretty sure survivors being able to get somewhere safe is intentional so I doubt that'll change.
-
IDK I've been running BS on him and in the first game I played the other day I thought I must have taken it off but then I looked down and was still using it. I could just be a coincidence that we both thought that.

the main issue with discussions regarding spirit is their propensity to describe her playstyle as having to do with "mindgames", the problem being that there's no mindgame because the survivor can't know what you're doing ever and spirit knows where the survivor is all the time thanks to visual and audio tells. spirit's playstyle is a guessing game for the survivor, and a reaction for the spirit
It's almost a role reversal beings killers are usually guessing while survivors can pan their cameras at every turn.

I don't understand why people want Barb. She is an empty character who means nothing to the story of Stranger Things. She was thrown away in the first few episodes, she would be a grave mistake and a huge name missed out on.
I don't get it either with her barely being in the show. I was kinda happy she got abducted tbh.

I think you're protesting wrong. You ever see those monks that incinerate themselves? Notice how they don't catch other people on fire while claiming injustice? Slugging for the win seems a little self serving, but you go ahead and do you.

Survivors have to finish their objective to get adrenaline which is a basically a longer sprint burst and 1 health state.
What do killers need to do to get noed which is an infinite instadown combined with increased movement speed? 🤔
They have to protect their totems just like they do with every other hex perk. You can hide in lockers the entire game and still get Adrenaline so it's not like you're being rewarded for much. The only reason killers don't have to work for it usually is because so many people still refuse to cleanse dull totems.
-
There's just not much going on with the survivor side and people can only cry about MoM so much for so long. I do agree that people should wait until Fred goes through the PTB to see where he actually lands first before crying.

I doubt we will see the kids. Behvaiour has stated they don't want their game to be involved with the killing of children.*
Their is also the issue of potential child survivors being 1-2 feet shorter than Meng who is our shortest survivor. This would pose issues for animations and moris.
*Technically some survivors like Laurie are legally children (under 18) but they are all teens.
Yeah I know.. I want Winona so they can Lydia her up.
