Cleansing dull totems was only important for Thrill to weaken it and potentional NOED (and points), but now with Undying into play its even more important to cleanse dulls. If Haunted Grounds was transferred multiple times that means nobody cleansed any dulls.
Its becoming more important to cleanse dulls and less optional with undying.

This one right here is a really tough one. I absolutely love Bond, since it provides allot of information. You can help them out by steering the killer away from others. Or avoid getting in the way when others get chased. If you hear the heartbeat getting louder and you see noone near you know the killer is coming to check your generator or other points of interest. As well as finding other teammates so they can heal you or vice versa.
Kindred is just *chef's kiss*. When people are on the hook you get to see the whole game and everyone in it and how its playing out. It is not only helping you, but also your teammates when you are on the hook. I can say that when others run it in my team I instantly go, frick yeaah Kindred!
It comes down to personal preference. I love Bond myself, since I can play off of that a bit easier, but Kindred is definitely an amazing pick and will help the team especially in solo play.

Just to be clear, what you're saying is I'll have to record the game, clip it to find the error, etc on my own, and then submit it in a bug report?
Adding a video to a bug report will help identify the issue faster, but its not mandatory. Upvoting your issue in the bug report threads and adding your video to it will help in the long run. You can find the bug report section here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
For more information on how to record please check this link: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66835/recording-evidence-for-your-player-report#latest

i cant move the thread i need @MandyTalk
We cant move threads to the bug section. A new bug report needs to be made. You can find more information how to do so here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/kb/articles/149-how-to-report-a-bug
Please be sure to search for your issue before making a new report! Duplicate posts make it harder for us to keep track of bugs. If your issue has already been reported, voting the post up will help ensure that we see it.
And you can make a bug report here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

Im definitely a tea person. Drinking tea as we speak 😜
-
Myers' movement speed also gets increased with 4% with NOED. Maybe thats why? I mean dont get me wrong there are other perks that would have more of a benefit for him then NOED if he has an infiniteT3 addon equipped. But we dont know if they didnt have any other perks unlocked on Myers that would benefit them.
-
I change up my cosmetics all the time. So I use the headcase quite a bit

Farming is not bannable on its own since its voluntary, but its not something we approve of. If people are forced into farming when they dont want to it will fall under the category grieving and grieving is bannable.
For more information about grieving check the game rules and report system page: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
-
If the downvote you are talking about is the report system, then please do not report people for using perks or game mechanics. These reports will only clutter the system with false reports. Noed and camping are part of the game and shouldnt be reported.
Please refer to the game rules for more information: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system

The only benefits you get from prestiging is bloody clothing and a slight increase on higher rarity items in your bloodweb. Not every one is interested in the clothing which is okay. We have a whole store(and rift) with clothing that is usually preferred over the bloody clothing.
The slight increase in better items will also make your bloodwebs slightly more expensive since you will still have to spend bloodpoints on those items. Which is a reason why people dont prestige. In my honest opinion the lower rarity addons for killer are sometimes preferred.
I personally prestige my characters, since I like to grind. But wanted to put some reasons down that I have heard on why people wont prestige.
-
I have been playing Armello, if you like strategy board games I would recommend checking it out. Also recently started playing Final Fantasy Online. Been quite addicted to that one.
I did dip myself into Fall guy, but man... I suck at it 😭
-
Personally would say that bond is better, since bond will tell you exactly what people are doing around you and you can adjust to what is happening. If they are being chased or if they need healing etc.
Empathy only gives you information when people are injured. But its all up to preference in the end.

Have you bought any killer perks in the shrine in the past by any chance?
If you are not sure if you bought them or not you can check by clicking on the character info tab in the top right and then cycle through the killers until you get to Plague, Clown, and Freddy. The check marks next to the perks indicate that you own their teachables.

Well, I feel stupid now. I got my friend to test this for me and it didn't work for some reason!! On multiple occassions! So i assumed that this wasn't a feature. Sorry!
Oh its ok. I mean it could have been a bug where it hasnt been popping up for some reason. If you are having this issue more often please consider looking into the bug report section and see if someone else has reported the same thing and vote on it. If its not there you can make a bug report
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
Just a side note. I personally tested this on the Live build of DbD
-
I wasnt absolutely sure if it already did that so I went into a match to make sure. Babysitter does pop up in the bottom right when you get unhooked.
-
I have emetophobia. Which is the fear of vomiting. Its the sounds and smells that will put me in full panic. I have to keep track of the food in the house, cause I never ever want to eat expired food. There are certain foods that I have to avoid at all costs.
Yes the Plague is extremely hard for me to play against. I try to not get my character sick as long as possible. If it does happen ill either have to cleanse immediately or mute the game. I thought I had to quit when she got announced, but luckily the animations havent been a huge trigger for me so I can still play as long as I dont versus her 5 times in a row.
-
Better together is indeed quite underrated. It not only helps with solo play, but also to tunnel teammates into one location to pump that gen out or to alert people that you are working on a gen in that direction so they dont bring the killer there.
And like you said its a blessing in indoor maps. The amount of times that we pumped out gens that normally wouldnt have been spotted.
As long as people have game awareness and keep track if the killer has Trail of Torment then Better Together is a very efficient perk.
-
To add to the examples that are already given is that Freddy can not teleport to blocked gens. (As long as he is not already teleporting)
I personally use it to stop Pop. 25% is allot of gen progress especially in end game.
-
I personally dont play aftercare that often. I might play it a few rounds after this however.
But I know someone who has aftercare on almost 70% of their builds and its actually really nice to have someone on your team that is playing the perk.

When I'm near the cow tree I swear I can hear huntress' lullaby sometimes. Or when I'm in the worst possible spot on a generator I hear Micheal breathing and it freaks me out man.
The one thing I do (which isnt technically an audio hallucination) is me watching a dbd stream and I hear a skillcheck sound I STILL try to hit the skillcheck in panic, eventhough I'm not even playing the game at that time. Makes me feel foolish.

What's your take on Swf? Do you like it? Don't? Why?
Do you enjoy having challenge?
I dont mind going against a swf, but I do enjoy going against them as they make the game interesting. 90% of the time, they enjoyed the match and had fun(me as well), true champs.
I dont mind playing against swf. They are usually very altruistic and predictable because they wanna help their friend(s).
-
I kinda do this on the survivors side where I just have certain build on survivors. I just switch to the survivor that has the build I want to play. Obviously with killers this cant be done.
-
The reason why I say that is because your screenshot that you provided is actually the settings in the killer lobby. Which is why the opt-out option is grayed out.
The options button in the main menu is what you wanna click to opt-out
-
When you opt-out, you will only be able to play against people from your own platform. The matchmaking time will be longer since there is less players to match with.
-
You should be able to opt-out when you are in the main menu. If you are in a survivor or killer lobby the option is gonna be grayed out. If you cant opt-out in the main menu, try to restart and see if that fixes it.

Love: Red Forest - Mother's Dwelling.
Like: Yamaoka Estate(both)
Hate: THE GAME. I swear I get that map like its the only map in rotation. Shelter Woods.
This list is both for killer and survivor. Midwich is my favorite on how it looks and how the map has so many interesting things to it.
-
I really like her look and her cosmetics. Her lore is one of grief. I would love to learn more about her tbh, since there is not much that we know other then her motivation.
This is my outfit for her that I'm loving a lot:
-
They are aware of this issue and are working on a fix!
-
If its grayed out please make sure you are in the main menu and not in a killer or survivor lobby. It should be clickable.Edit: Im glad you got it fixed :D
-
I personally skip the mori ones as killer and sometimes the ones that involve a character that I dont like playing. Though I like doing the ones where you need to escape with a certain survivor.

Some of my personal favorite perks that don't get enough love are Windows and Break Out. A wiggle out with Break Out can have such huge value when you can deny a whole hook state from happening. Just need to know when to go in for it and when not to.
Windows has made looping/running quite optimal (especially in indoor maps). Also helps with preventing to create dead zones for the team. Those are my thoughts in it anyway.
Pretty well thought out list 😄 I like the notes you have put down to explain some of the reasons on why you placed certain perks in the categories.
-
Honestly. I love that.
-
The male character models are quite a bit bigger then female ones. (hitboxes are the same though)
As someone who also loves to play male characters I would recommend standing up sideways when hiding behind a tree. It will help hide that pesky medkit/toolbox.
PS: That drawing made my day, Thank you.
-
Like many others, its the pallet stuns that get me. Especially if they are done out of chase. Im just minding my own business ye know. Just picking up my traps as trapper and then BAM!! 😱
The one other thing that gets me is survivors running into me during a chase around corners. Just suddenly a survivors face in my camera. So threatening.
-
AH the margarita machines. You just brought me back on memory lane with that one. They were great and I would love to see them return. If or when they do, ill be in the fog.
-
Is this what you were looking for? @RoMainPuppy
-
You are right JHondo. Pretty sure it was always this way. Only thing that changed is that Plague now starts with 1 corrupted pool. That was in a patch somewhere in March.

TTS is probably my favourite hex perk. It can be really powerful sometimes. And even though SWF can trump it, the perk can still be enough of a nuisance to them that they will waste time (contributing to stall) trying to find the totem.
For sure. I love that it creates clutter in communication (if there is any) between survivors. Its one of those hidden gems that is overlooked quickly.
-
On survivor Break Out is the one for me. I love being that buzzing fly around the killers head while they bring my teammate to a hook. Doesnt always work but when it does I feel like a guardian angel.
On killer its 3rd Seal. Been using that allot together with Retribution or Haunted Ground. I had allot of people dying on hook because their teammates couldn't find the hook in time.
-
Ye its a bug. Dont worry it has been acknowledged and they are working on a fix
-
Tall and proper. She stand with purpose 🤭

You should be able to turn your camera so you can see the locker from the outside and parts of the map around the locker. If you are looking directly away from the locker the camera gets really close to it and it will seem you are in first person, but its just the camera readjusting position since it cant get into the locker. (since it will then obstruct your vision)
However if you are seeing the inside of the locker when you are in it, then yes that might be a bug.
-
Make sure that the obstacle you are trying to mind game on is high enough that the survivor cant see your character model. Seeing the killer turn around as a survivor defeats the purpose of the red stain mind game. If your body is completely covered and you are red stain mindgaming at every corner, then they will expect you to do that and react accordingly. Another thing is that sometimes the mindgame takes too long to take place and it will be a dead give away that you are trying to mindgame.
Some people are very attentive to how to killer is responding in certain situations/loops and will get used to your playstyle in the first chase. However some are just not paying attention at all and dont know if you are mindgaming or not, gets scared and runs away to another loop where they can see you instead.
Switching up red stain mindgaming mid chase will get some people, since they will expect you to stick to your playstyle.
Its a whole skill on its own to be able to mindgame properly and it wont work on all survivors. Watching other players on places like youtube or twitch will help allot to get to see different playstyles and how you can use that to your advantage
Dont get discouraged when your mindgaming doesnt work. Its part of it, you will get better at it with practice.
