Thantophobia is barely noticable on healing unless it's all 4 Sloppy Butcher is far better for this purpose and makes survivors easier to track via the bleeding.
Thanny is 16% fully stacked against healing and as soon as you kill someone that potential drops as dead guys don't count towards it.
Sloppy is 20% and is always at 20%
He's not saying it will slow down healing. He's saying it makes the survivors go heal instead of working injured. Because survivors think Thanat is good. They wont work through it if they can help it.

Normally just terrible ping.
Or groups that have 3 ready up except 1 irritating annoying survivor trying to wait out the entire countdown. If it gets to 25 seconds and they still haven’t readied up, I disconnect.
@DudeDelicious I've been that really annoying survivor. I'll ready up in the SWF lobby then go afk to grab a drink or something.

Surveillance is the only one I got that madr me happy so far xP. Wanting Monitor & Absue as well, seeing how I JUST unlocked it..here's hoping it pops up soon enough for us both
saving up my BP for Ash now. Got plague to 45 and stopped spending points on her. lol

Sloppy on Plague is mostly a waste since in my experiences, people use her full healing Fountains a lot...and on the flipside plenty of people don't bother to heal and crank out Gens, as well as use Adrenaline which renders the Perk a wasted slot. On other Killers, Sloppy is fantastic
It helps against slugging... I guess...? Idk. I've not been able to get any of the perks i want on her either. I've gotten Ruin, but i want Monitor and BBQ and Surveillance.
-
When I have "Chainsaw X people with The Cannibal" as a daily, i just put on Insidious, and I go stand in the basement, with my chainsaw revved up. Eventually the survivors get curious and come looking for you. I've gotten at least one person every game with this strategy. Plus it's great to hear them rage in post game chat about it.
-
Sloppy isnt bad when it's tier 3... Surveillance is good at least. And Franklins. That's not horrid against the right lobbies.

Aren't you holding it hostage by being too arrogant to let them leave? She made it too one gen, let her live, you're not entitled to a 4k every time. Not to be offensive, but that's my view on it.
Run a slugging build on Nurse or Spirit if you want a 4k.
Arrogant? If the killer finds the hatch first, then the survivor should not be allowed to escape so easily. The way it stands, the killer is punished for acting, and that's not how the game should be. I say, let the killer close the hatch, OR block the hatch for a few seconds on a successful hit with-in X meters of the hatch.

More than one flashlight.
More than one person with paid for cosmetics.
Four names that make it obvious it's a SWF.
Bad ping.
-
Sorry if someone else has posted about this, but has anyone else experienced freezing while trying to grab survivors?
I've had the exact same thing happen to me on Legion. And as Spirit I've had countless grabs get canceled and turned into attacks half way through. It's super annoying.
-
Most survivors get super salty when you camp after the gens are completed. I don't run NOED. If I have someone hooked when all 5 gens are completed, I'm going to protect my hook. I have nothing else to protect. It's not my fault your team turned my one kill into four kills. That's bad game play on your part.
-
@Condorloco_26 Throwing bottles doesn't slow down the Clown at all. I play him quite often. Exhaustion bottles with the extra hindered effect and you have excellent chase potential. Clowns only problem is he has no map pressure.
-
Completely remove the loud ass scream from Pigs ambush attack that makes the attack completely useless as an ambush.

It's not a problem with the totem itself it's a problem with survivor/totem spawn that need to be fixed. When this will work as intended it should be alright.
That's something they've been "fixing" pretty much since the game released. It's been three years and the totem placement is still trash. This is a good alternative.

It's still a killer buff ;)
Bring a hex totem is a risk of losing one perk but it's rewarding if survivors don't find it in time. Even Peanits said it.
If you want to protect your totems bring Thrill of the Hunt ;)
I have legitimately spawned into the map, and headed straight towards my totem, and had it get broken before i made my way to it. How exactly would Thrill help if the totem can get broken before it's even possible for me to try to protect it? Maybe your sprint burst or balanced landing should only work for the first 45 seconds of the match too, then you might change your mind about it.

Why was the first thread closed? Is bhvr scared of boycotting the new killer or what did I miss?
because it was just a bait thread. they had no real reason to boycott. they claimed she had full speed when charging her puke, and that she puked on everything, and that was why they wanted to boycott. bad bait, basically.

a lot of these ideas sound pretty okay. devour keeping the 5% movement speed bonus would be broken.
if it was permanent, but as it stands now it's for 10 seconds after you hook someone.

you can lower it to 3-4%. I think no skill check warning as base power can be less enjoyable
it already does the extra 6% regression. the only thing the stacks do is close the gap between warning and when it goes off. Keeping that effect would be too OP. 6% isnt that much, to be fair. All it would do is slow the game down just a little bit. Ruin is 5% at tier 3, and that's barely any regression at all.

@NurseMainBTW said:
This answers lmao.
Ok, let me explain precisely what it does:
If Legion hits you while using their special ability (or you get hit by any killer while under the effect "Endurance" given from the perk "Borrowed time") you enter a special injured status called "Deep wound".
"Deep wound" starts a timer under your bar that slowly depletes. The moment the bar completely depletes, you automatically fall into the dying state. The timer, however, does not deplete when being chased by a killer. To cure this status effect you have to mend yourself by pressing m1 (just like the perk "Self Care"). If you completely mend yourself you'll go back to the injured status.
Remember that you will NOT fall into the dying state while you're mending even when the bar completely depletes. Letting go of the mending at any moment while the bar has depleted completely will make you go into dying state.
All clear now?
Actually a pretty damn good description. The first two replies did make me lol though. Thanks for actually explaining, even though i'm not the one who asked. =D
-
Yes, if you slug the obsession and build your stacks back up to 8 before hooking them, then you keep your 8 stacks, and 40% reduced recovery time. It's a pretty great perk.
-
i agree. this needs more awareness.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Perhaps the 6% regression being persistent on Huntress lullaby would be too strong at base, but i’m liking the idea of hexes having a base power that remains after cleansing.
That's ONLY on missed skill checks. which doesn't happen too often, unless you're playing with noobs.
-
@Tylerz said:
Bad idea killers dont need buff
You're right. Killers don't need a buff. Hex perks do, because they can get removed from the game completely very early, meaning the killer is playing with a handicap, and 3 perks.
-
i like it. 10/10
Thrill could continue to slow down the speed that totems are cleansed based on number of totems left.
Devour could still give the speed boost...? Maybe?
Haunted Ground has no effect anyway unless it gets broken.
NOED is end game only, so it doesn't really need a lasting effect after it's broken.
-
Spirit. Because she's hard to loop if you play her properly. Plus she's got the speed to cross the map relatively quickly to keep pressure up around the map with her haunting.

I'm actually planning on a quasi meme build for Doc who's name I gleefully call, "Forever Screaming." More or less just all the perks that cause survivors to scream. That is Infectious Fright coupled with Distressing, Make Your Choice, and Iron Maiden.
That sounds like a fun build.

@DudeDelicious agreed, it's great to knock back that gen progress. Would prefer it give a small regression every time you kicked to go along with it, would make more people run it. A survivor fails a skill check and gens get regressed, but if i kick it, it doesn't lose any progress? SeemsLegit.gif
-
@DudeDelicious yea, great combo there. I love it too. I don't have tier 3 sloppy on him though, so I only run Coulrophobia with it. Along with Ruin and Pop.

Mhm yeah red+purple addon.... thats the thing with youtubers....
You said can't. But you obviously can? Doesn't matter what add ons he used. It still proves your statement wrong.
-
I love Clown. He's fun to play, because survivors rarely expect him. Exhaustion bottles + extra hindered and you'll end loops before they even start. His only problem is he has no map pressure at all. I run Distressing on him, just for that extra bit of pressure of being inside the TR. Which doesn't bother a lot of survivors, but will still scare the immersed ones off gens.
-
The way it's phrased as the achievement is broken too. It just says "As the Legion, down 25 survivors that have deep wound applied."
Which is how it should be. Easy. Like almost every other killers achievement. For the Doctor you just need to get all 4 people into tier 3 in one match. That's incredibly simple. Huntress is the only other one that's challenging, and it's not even close to as ridiculous as the Legion one is.

It was KYF, I wasn't that worried about it. But it didn't even count as a hit on them, which is the annoying part.

You cant runa slugging build as freddy because you cant punish survivors when they wanna pick up each other, thx to the dream transition
-
For Volt Tackle, 115% is already base movement speed for most killers, and the lunge is 150%, so you should definitely up the movement speed for the perk, or just have it affect the distance/speed of your normal lunge.

@SmokePotion said:
You tap the attack button while close to a survivor doing an interuptable action. Also, every killer can do this. but the spirit is the best at it (with nurse as a second)
It should be noted that the code around grabbing seems to be wonky. I have, many times, started the animation, only to have the survivor run off.
Another way to get grabs it to take Thrill of the Hunt and Ruin at the same time. Once you get alerted the survivors are working on a totem, you time your approach to get there when they are nearly done with the totem. Many survivors, including rank 1's, will try to finish the totem when it gets really close.
I actually got stuck in the grab animation one time, reached out to grab them, and they ran off, they didnt take a hit or anything, and my hand was stuck out stretched like i was grabbing. A basic m1 attack fixed it, but the survivor got away when they should have been grabbed, and that was annoying

Hiding the number would fix the problem- people complained solely about the number next to their opponents name. Mark everyone as rank 1 and call it done.
I definitely tell a difference when i'm playing against an experienced red rank killer. I usually call it before the end of the match, if they're high or low ranked. The skill cap is the issue, not the numbers next to their names. If I go into a game against a killer that has everyone dead in the first 2 minutes of the game, then chances are, no matter what number is next to their name post game, it's due to bad match making. If I have a survivor that can run me for the entire game without taking the first hit. No matter what the number is next to their name, that's bad matchmaking. I definitely preferred the new method over Lobby Simulator. Playing with mismatched ranks or not. I don't mind to play in a mismatched lobby. As killer or survivor. It's going to be part of the game. People will complain about anything, doesn't matter what it is.

So me and my rank 10 friend, cant play with our 2 absolute trash rank 17 friends when they want to? That's ridiculous.
I agree they should attempt to bridge the gap, and that the RARE toxic swf is harder to deal with. But SWF isnt the issues this game has.
Those players are well below 10% of the playerbase.
That's part of what's wrong with SWF. Not rank 10's, but rank 1's SWFing with Rank 20's or similar, giving the rank 1 survivor a lobby with a rank 15 killer. Which is super unfair for that killer. I don't mind facing SWF teams. They're usually stupid and overly altruistic, making it easy to bait. Even when they know you're camping, they'll still try to come for the save 9 times out of 10. It's the bad matchmaking with SWF that I have a problem with.
-
Any build you use should have Monitor, since that perk seems to have been built for spooki boi. Ruin is a staple perk for any build. Then the other two, I choose perks to slow gens and help tracking. Surveillance/Discordance. You could swap one out for BBQ if you want. Discordance is the one I'd drop, since that one can be avoided if they figure out you have it. His teachable perks are garbage, except for Save The Best for Last. You can pair that perk with Rancor to build up stacks and down everyone super fast during game, and actually save the obsession for the last kill, end game Rancor.

I think what you’re saying is right but there is also the fact that you can’t deny dead hard as most killers if you are so close to a pallet/loop as it helps you reach it to throw it down or be able to spend more time looping them
Yes, it can help you reach that pallet a little bit faster, but it's not guaranteed. BL or Lithe are guaranteed to put distance between you and the killer. Lithe more so, because they have to vault after you, or go around the wall. I personally use Lithe, Quick and Quiet, and Dance With Me in my perk build, so when I do proc Lithe, they won't know which direction I went.
-
@Master said:
get rid of rank and SWF will be the only happy ones.
Solo survivor will be unbearable and killer will be annoying as well cus its onyl vs SWF
I wouldn't mind if they got rid of SWF.
Not the entire concept, but just nerf it a bit.
Survive with Friend. Singular. Two people SWFs max.
-
@danara said:
Can everyone stop saying lithe? I clearly made this discussion for either bl/dh. I dislike using SB because of the walking conditions and lithe because activating it on a jungle gym or window vaults feel bad because most times you can loop killers for a long time depending on the area with vaults
Then BL. Dead Hard still only works once per game, like my previous message. And then when they aren't expecting it, they can still hit you through it sometimes. I've done it as killer before.
-
Monitor, Ruin, Surveillance, Discordance.

@Carpemortum said:

Well, so does lithe? Unless they lose you...
Dead Hard only works in your first chase against the killer i mean. Because after that, they'll know you have it, and just wait it out. Lithe works every time you fast vault, provided you aren't exhausted. Dead Hard tricks a killer into whiffing exactly once.

Yeah beeing chased or tunneld the whole Game and depip because I'm not as good as I think... And yes People still tunnel even after the DS change and no I dosen't running DS always.
I was at this point that I asked me why I running BT if the Killer is gonna camp and some Surv still stick at they Asses to unhook the poor hooked one.
Being tunneled or camped on your first hook would cause a de-pip even before the ranking system changed. So that's not an excuse.

This is the reason why I stopped trying, I think 7 tries got ruined by DCing survivors
But when you finally get it, it feels nice. It counted for Blood On Your Face too, which is pretty great, because having to do them both separately would have been cancer.
