You made a thread to tell people about something that makes legion worse than they already are?
Nice meme
-
Literally 3 games in a row infinite loading. new survivor. running fixated, sprint burst, kindred, shadowstep
-
The game is free and just released new content. You and I both know you're being intentionally obtuse to shill for your lord and saviour that doesn't even know you exist. Get back to me in 2 weeks with those numbers
-
Hahahah
-
LOL. Do any of you think before proposing these ideas? Imagine killer shack with this totem active inside it rofl
-
Trapper wouldnt care about it. Trapper is a territorial killer reliant on his traps which are a guaranteed down, not allowing either CoH or Shadowstep to even function.

what's the thoughts on nemecis being C tier? he seems like a pretty unique killer with basic gameplay at heart. i would like to know why put neemsis in with 2 anti-loop only killers? i don't think his anti-loop power is as strong as those 2 anyways, it's more like a mix of pyramid head and huntress: shorter wind-up and hit speed, but extremely low range and not as lethal
I'll speak to this. I personally think Nemesis is the worst designed killer in the game besides Legion.
Why? They took an entity, with games and games of lore they could have based him off. So many cool things they can do. And instead, they gave him a tentacle that he doesn't even use in R3make, and barely uses in Original RE3. They didn't even allow Nemy to mutate. They made his arm get all pussy.
The way I like to think of it is this. If you took Nemesis name off the killer and just put that killer in the game. Would you have ANY idea thats Nemesis? You wouldn't. In fact his design is almost what you would think Plague would be if you had never played this game and someone asked if this killer was Plague, you'd be like.....yeah that makes sense.
-
Imagine thinking that
"Killer puts trap down" as his entire power is a mid tier design in your book.
but "Killer that teleports and maneuvers like no one else" is in the same tier as "run faster" killer
-
To answer your question. There isn't
This used to be a game made by horror fans for the fun of it. You can see it all over the game. It's wonky and weird and has a LOT of potato coding. These are not seasoned game devs. Now its a cash grab just like all popular games turn into nowadays but it still has all the potato coding.
-
MAPS. The solution has and always will be maps. Gen speed is FINE on smaller maps. Gen speed is NOT fine on giant maps. There will always be some variance but MAPS are the main problem with balance.
You have maps like coldwind which can have as little as like 8 pallets. Then you have the Game which has 5 god pallets. 6 safe pallets. and 37 filler pallets. You cannot have this level of discrepancy. Map balance is the end all of this game.
-
BHVR update. That should tell you all you need to know. If you expect a large update to not come without at least one gamebreaking bug from these devs, then you havent played this game before

I dont think the grind has to do with money. It was worse. before you where only able to get one perk out of the blood web at a time
Of course the grind has to do with money. The amount of time you have to spend to unlock the shards to unlock ONE killer or ONE survivor for a casual gamer is well over a couple of weeks. In addition to many of the best perks in this game ACTUALLY locked behind a cash only wall unless you get lucky and do what? You guessed it, spend shards on the shrine. Want BBQ? Don't want to spend money? Hope that its on the shrine. Oh you unlocked it on the shrine. Now you cant afford the killer you wanted to unlock.
-
Thats intentional. The grind in this game is CRAZY long and hard intentionally so you spend money unlocking things instead of shards.
-
Define tunneling. Thats a broad term. Tunneling someone off the hook who had both DS and BT is actually ######### terrible and loses you the game almost instantly against any decent survivors.
Finding the guy that was unhooked 20 seconds ago and hasn't managed to heal and switching from the survivor you were chasing? Thats just smart play.
ESPECIALLY now that every single survivor is running a perk that lets everyone on the team heal at ridiculous speeds WITHOUT a medkit its beneficial to chase injured people. Spreading damage is now a dead strategy with circle of healing in the game
-
HAH. Are they?

It isn't, exactly. It's not right. Because EVERY SINGLE killer should have a reliable of countering him/her WITHOUT a single perk equipped.
they do. its called holding W
and no. they shouldn't. one survivor in a 1v4 should literally never be able to "counter" a killer. Every single killer in the game has counterplay. You may not like it. But they all do.

but a perk that had an actual use case or two still got made completely useless for everyone that unlocked it and i'd consider that very, very bad
revert or rework, even if it becomes a new tinkerer
A perk being bad doesn't mean it needs a rework. Its design is fine. Increasing sounds survivors make to help with tracking. It's a perfectly fine design. It's bad, that doesn't make it poorly designed. 80% of killer perks are bad, do they all need a rework? No. All games will have low tier "filler" things that just exist to have them. Monstrous Shrine for example. Does it need a rework? No. Its design is mostly fine, it's just horrible. Outdated? Yeah maybe.
How about perks like Insidious (which has already been changed from what it used to be), or Dead Mans Switch. These don't need reworks, the design on them is fine, they're just bad. All of the "bad" perks in this game rely on setup or having time, which the killer doesn't have. That doesn't mean the perks need reworks.

So if I won 10 games in a row with clown I could say he’s op right?
If you won 10 games in a row with clown against high mmr survivors I'd ask for video proof. Also define win. 2k/2escape? 3k?
All 4 survivors escaping is a blatant survivor win. Everyone knows, well everyone who is capable of objective reasoning, knows this game is survivor sided, and allowing people in comms to setup an area of the map to literally heal for free at double speeds thats away from the area that the killer wants to control is just ridiculously broken.
It takes upwards of 20-30 seconds chase time to injure ONE survivor. That's negated in 16 seconds now by one survivor who didnt bring a medkit nor self care. Pretend thats balanced.
-
The solution is to fix Iron WIll. It's entirely too powerful and is probably the single strongest overall survivor perk in terms of usage in relation to power. The problem is that Iron Will is actually reducing your breathing sounds in addition to your grunts of pain.
Iron Will is too powerful ANYWAYS, and the perk makes no sense when you have varying sounds of injury. Meg sounds like she's been shot by a thousand bullets, meanwhile claudette doesn't even sound injured.
Nerfing Iron Will is the solution here. Not reverting stridor.

That's not a buff that's how she came! I can see them newfangled her. But I can honestly see it getting better as people get tired of playing her. I never included in my list all the things that were there letcme show you what survivors got like everything not (suggesting that a survivor in itself is a buff means that survivor must of hurt you)
Survivor Perks
The following perks have become General Perks, and their names have changed:
- Babysitter is now Guardian
- Camaraderie is now Kinship
- Second Wind is now Renewal
- Better Together is now Situational Awareness
- Fixated is now Self-Aware
- Inner Strength is now Inner Healing
That is all they had down for survivors. I wouldn't say survivors are more powerful at all! I main pig and I can say killers are by far more powerful but most killers don't know how to use there skills or are just looking for an easy 4k sorry not sorry if you are one of those killers
Thats because you play at low mmr against potato survivors. If survivors are losing to pig. They are just bad

These are the newest reworks and added things to the game I looked through them and removed ones that were reworks or a change of rarity. And found 7 things they changed that were not in favor of the killers.
Also it should be mentioned that not a single survivor got buffed! Some of the names of the items perks ect have been changed but not a single buff! I don't play as survivor alot but as a killer main I can nearly always get a 4k without camping tunneling or needing of underhanded tactics. It's sad af to see all those buffs given to killers and they are still so bad at the game they have to come here and complain or camp and tunnel... These are not nerfs!
"Not one survivor got a buff." You mean besides the new survivor with broken boon totems?
Also survivors don't need a buff. They're the most powerful side of this game by a mile.

Small Game was changed months ago to not alert for traps. Specifically because it completely countered Trapper's power.
Whether you agree with the change or not, it's a terrible example to bring up as an argument in this case.
Oh so you mean they changed a perk that nullified a killers power? You mean like Iron Will does? Its actually an even better example to bring up as an argument in this case then.
-
Imagine trying to use a 66k player peak as an argument. New release. The peak last month, with NO new release was over 70k
The peak with RE chapter was over 100k.
Stop pretending like they aren't losing players hand over fist
-
The only good killer on that staff was Mclean, he's gone. And we've all seen what the other devs do in this game.
I've said it before, you don't need to be good at your game to balance it, but you do need to listen to people who are good at the game. They do neither.

Trapper can still kill you with small game. Counters dont mean its irrelevant.

- That's a lie. You give free auric cells to content creators all the time to buy and showcase new dlc's. And back in the day there was a bug that erased progress and people would get credited BP's to compensate them to get back where they were, I've seen it. 2. The correct phrasing is "wont" not "cant". I understand that a portion of profits are from people like me, and by doing this you lose those profits and it also pulls you away from doing the other things you intend, like the next chapter etc. However, people like me only exist because the game is next to unplayable on consoles. People been asking for awhile now for there to at least be a graphics settings added so they can increase performance just a tad. But hasn't happened, even though its an easy thing to do. That's on you as a company. Not us as the customer. 3. You wouldn't be giving us money. Only giving us what we already paid for, and for some people like me, paid for twice. Though I appreciate that you've taken the time to answer my question, it only has proven that you not only care solely on profit and not your actual customers, you apparently think we're all idiots and would believe that you are actually incapable of doing this even though there is plenty of evidence to show that you indeed can.
Im sure this will make them like you more

You do realize DBD steam numbers were already trending down correct? RE chapter spiked them and immediately everyone left again
-
The answer is because it conflicts with their new boon totem gimmick. It is that simple. It really is. Franklins Demise wasn't changed because it was too powerful, they didn't know how to code it with Nemesis's vaccines.
They simply don't want people countering their new gimmick with perks.
Same reason Huntress Lullaby got nerfed is because devs were making themselves look ridiculous on stream not being able to hit a skillcheck. The reasons really are very simple

Mikaela is a Scandinavian name. Reid is red in scottish.
Her last name is more indicative of where/what she is. Her red hair
Source - I'm Irish, there's a billion Reids in Ireland.
Aside. Her backstory is vaguely Gaelic to me in some ways. Seeking magic and such, seems very Druidic. Which given her name and hair colour would make sense. Just my thoughts
-
BBQ in my playing has usually functioned mostly as just information. Not in the context of who your next target is. But in the context of who is close to the hook going for a rescue. I care very little about seeing 2 other survivors across the map on a gen. I care that I cant see the 3rd on BBQ. So I know to check CLOSE locations first. If I find a close survivor and I know 2 others are far, that means one survivor has to cross map and waste a load of time for the rescue.
So in that regard BBQ is not gone from my perk lists. But it is very killer dependent. I use it almost 100% of games as Nurse and Blight. I use it maybe half the time on Doc or Michael. And I basically never use it on Slinger, Trapper, or Legion
-
The sad part is, it would be a GREAT map if they would simply section it off into RPD West/RPD East. Similar to how original RE2 and RE3 limited where you could go in RPD to start. Instead we have this giant AMAZING looking map that is so survivor sided I could probably do 2 survivors against one killer and finish 5 gens. Everyone gets lost on it, its buggy and laggy in parts.
-
if they actually balanced all the killers in this game to make them viable and fun at a decent level then it would literally last for years with no updates besides fun events and map updates.
As is half the killers in the game are just HORRIBLY designed and unfun. Legion, Myers, Nemesis for example.
Other killers are crazy fun and well designed. Blight, Oni, Ghostface.
Then a lot of the others are actually pretty decent designs but they're horrible because of map design or survivors being overall too powerful. Billy, Freddy, Dr.
Making all of the killers more viable would go a long way into making the game better.

Check any of my recent posts. I was saying it was real. You can't make crazy outlandish claims like "we are partnering with BHVR for Pinhead NFTs" without expecting some serious backlash. Some lies are too big to tell. This one wasn't a lie. You don't have to be a genius to see that

My understanding based on these two pairs of tweets is that BVHR did work with Boss Protocol, but only in the sense of like, giving them chapter keys and the models on behalf of Park Ave. It seems like Park Ave are the ones who really orchestrated this- you'll notice the language in the original tweet heavily emphasises that Park Ave are allowed to do whatever they want with the models, which reads to me like BHVR themselves just knew about it without necessarily actively organising it themselves.
Obviously it's still unethical as hell to agree, but I don't think they lied here, by omission or otherwise.
It's not even a sin of omission. If I own a gun, and I decide to sell it to a known violent felon, then I go "well the gun is his to do what he wants with cause I sold it to him." Yeah technically I didn't do anything wrong, but anyone with a brain would know how thats gonna turn out

Super condensed version: an NFT is a digital receipt that says you own a particular jpeg, and the system that generates it uses more energy than some small countries. It's a bad thing because it's dealing pretty hefty harm to the environment, and it has literally no upside, NFTs are a gigantic scam with zero redeeming qualities.
You left out the part where it says you own something, but you don't actually own it. And if the website goes down that says you own it, you don't even have your fake receipt that says you own it, which you don't own
-
