Halloween - It's shown it's age but at the time absolute slamdunk in terms of fitting the source material and added good perks for both sides and Michael is fun to play with more build variety than any other killer due to their addons. Haddonfield never really panned out but I love the concept for it as a map even if it doesn't play exceptionally well.
Hellraiser- Ignoring the NFT debacle which was an absolute massive misstep on behavior's part we got scourge hooks and a very unique killer and it introduced me to what is now my 2nd favorite horror franchise after Halloween.
All-Kill- This is weird pick for me since I don't especially like Yun-Jin or Trickster but the narrative of having a survivor and killer so closely tied together was cool and I can't deny the chapter absolutely lit the forums on fire (even if a lot of it was negative it was fun to watch). Perkwise I really appreciate Starstruck for the times I don't feel like dealing with bodyblocking and No Way Out for making end games builds more viable and encouraging not camping. To this day however I will never understand why they took that beat out of Trickster's menu theme that was there in the PTB it fit so well and was cool to hear something so different for a killer theme.
Yeah i miss it, the beat from the ptb menu music trickster
-
1) All-Kill Trickster has gone from a weak character to a solid character with fun gameplay (when playing) i will say he sucks to play against.
Yun-Jin used to be one of my mains until Jonah walked in. no map so :(
2) Potrait of a Murder some how gave me 2 Mains. I play Artist alot even know she isn't my true main (Trickster) id say she is my secondary main and Jonah has taken the place of Zarina as my Number one Main, Map is fantastic. And now that they added more lockers its lot nicer to play on as trickster.
3) Resident evil, fun perks (Blastmine, Flashbang, Hysteria, Lethal Pursuer) map is fun to play on when im playing trickster some killers have a hard time on it tho. Leon, Chris, Claire, and Jill are all welcome
-
He is def not S tier lol, but i think he is a solid Low A-High B
-
I don't like the metal noises it makes.

Midwich? Midwich is literally the best map in the game LMAO like genuinely my favorite by far. No over abundance of safe loops, hardly any windows. Literally the only map in the game where I feel I can win with any killer at be in a fair place.
Midwich is probably the most balanced game in the map other than MAYBE coal tower
-
Sometimes the hotboxes for onis instadown feel bad. I don't really care for facing him especially in solo queue
-
People get annoyed over crouching a few times, clicking a flashlight. I don't think people could handle it.
-
I'm worried 2 , mostly worried mind breaker will become meta lol, I love object of obsession 2 much.
-
I don't understand why top tier killers that can are extremely viable without add-ons have some of the most busted add-ons.
-
Honestly, when twins gets there changes this might be the one thing I want them to keep. Of course with buffs in compensation.
I understand why it's there, there power to down a whole team very very quickly is scary, let alot victor is hard to dodge.
But right now I think it's pointless to have 5 seconds since they already have alot of negative for using powers.
-
I find curving very very frustrating to play against honestly.
Even if it is impressive to see.
It feels cheap even if I know it takes skill.
Don't understand the dc against it tho.

I wouldn't mind it if her hair was longer
She's the only character with really long hair I think ther than that one Felix one.
It looks really nice
-
If the kill rate skyrocket after DH nerf they will probably buff survivors in general who knows.
In my opinion it's basically required against both Nurse and Twins.

@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
I can't speak for any of the Survivors, I main Steve, but Artist looks so gorgeous. Finally a good head piece since her release.

I quite like her ice one, but yeah her default/prestige hairy is the best.
-
I think most will just be number changes. i bet some will be true reworks
-
Surprised Trickster did not get a titan skin. His lanky frame fits it so well. deathslinger 2
Edit: idk what I'm talking about the skins they showed are not the only ones

Exactly lol

I was expecting Furtive Chase and Hangman's Trick to be buffed and No Way Out to be nerfed.
They better not nerf no way out. It's just good. Nothing great

Special attacks won't work for Nurse. She can not chase you with m1, this mean so much perks will be useless for her. That does not look fair to me honestly.
Depends, make her first blink a basic attack and her second blink a special attack.
-
Im not gonna assume u are going for the achievement just because you have tombstone
Survivors don't owe you kills.

@dreamsy10 said:
If they nerf dstrike they are crazy. The perk is nowhere near as good as it was back then. In this form is good, maybe except the locker abuse, or the gate-openin which should disable the perk.
I wouldnt mind if they made it so you can do about 2 seconds of the things that deactivate it. just to make it more usable with console.
since accidental inputs are common on console

They suffer from the same problem as the crowns, I generally don't like default hairstyles.
Exactly, very few characters have good default hair. let alone default hair that works with crowns/masks

I've been wearing mine on Trickster, although I wouldn't say I main him.

this looks so great though! Also looks wonderful with the skin he has in the rift pass.
I wish i could put it over the black hair. i dont like his default hair in my opinion. best mask of the event tho
-
So you know how protection hits work? That bt nerf is Super bad.
-
I cant even contribute anymore lol, yeah they made it way to strict. only 40 per person??? really????

I thought the Flan offering was supposed to make them having an aura to spot from a few meters away, but I only saw the aura through the body of my character when I was right in front of the pillar. I'm wondering if there's a bug.
The aura you have to be right next to it. unless ur standing against a really really really thin wall
-
There really hard to find honestly, doesn't help there not as bright as the crown pillars

Now yer just trollin' at this point...
Clown insta-down is harder to hit than trickster's blades first off,
Trickster can spam his blades, clown needsa directly be on top of you, BUT he also needs to land A bottle that is also a direct hit..
Bubba just does Bubba Things,
Did you not read the comments I clearly stated I think iri card it stronger then clowns instadown
-
Give zombies better ai. that's all I would buff really

I am more than open to look at any other statistic/indicator of how well/strong a killer is performing but because BHVR does not release that info we have no tracking outside of this/third party sites. I am curious how you think we should determine if a killer is too strong if you don't want to look at stats(Ideally these should be bracketed by MMR in my opinion so we could see what killers overperform at what skill levels & also what killers are weak at what skill levels)
Im not saying he is "2 strong" a killer can not be s tier and still have in my opinion problematic aspects. you have every right to disagree
-
Since when have we started to trust dbd stats? are they only worth taking account of when they push ur argument?
-
@Carth said:

Sorry I don't mean low skill by losing to a trickster. I mean low skill by not running meta perks/not making chases last a minimum of 40+ seconds and not slamming out the gens in <5 mins vs a 110 killer with no map mobility.
Honestly if they are slamming gens that fast in every game u play. that's a you problem buddy?
also trickster eats bt and deadhead so I have no problem against those in the majority of cases
also not running meta does not make you low skill, if anything it makes you higher skill if you can make it work.
-
@Carth said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3003556#Comment_3003556
So we assume a trickster running this addon will surely know how to make use of it and destroy people.
But the survivor team we assume they are low skill/bad? Seems inconsistent.
Why would you assume the team is low skill just because they lose to a trickster.
-
@thenegativone said:
Who said that yiu need to keep it selected after youve finished the personal portion? Im sure everything is being counted on the back end...
Keeping the challenge selected seems to add up like
400/40 type stuff

Yes, I do. When kill rates have universally been dropping to 50% across the board in the last year(Hello BHVR, please bracket your stats by MMR) I think asking for nerfs for a non S tier killer is terrible. We have 2 competent killers who can reasonably deal with a 4 man swf running 4X DH, 1x COH, 1 x leader, 1x we'll make it, 2x BT(There's still 7 more free perks for the survivor team). Or do you think Trickster with iri photo can handle this team?
Do you really think ur going against a 4man-com-comp-swf each game? or even the majority of ur games?
the majority of my games i get 3 kills i think that is perfectly reasonable.
-
@Carth said:
Yes a low tier killer main begging for multiple killer nerfs. 100% makes sense. Care to share your stats showing your win/kill rates with these OP addons as well as total # of games played?
You think just because the killer I main is not S tier calling for nerfs on unhealthy aspects is bad?
-
The fact the challenge needs to be selected is awful.
I think they overestimated the players
at least its cosmetics and not a new map like we had with Groaning storehouse
-
@Steel_Eyed said:
It’s incredible against in survivors in dead zones, caught. But he’s still loopable and only 110. Once survivors get some awareness it can be mediated.
I do agree he doesn’t need it. I’d even say he has other addons that are more oppressive because it enhances his power.
I believe "Caged Heart Shoes" , "Melodious Murder" , And "Bloody Boa/Trick Pound" are really strong. But I just feel real icky with Iri Card
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Trickster is really not that good with this add-on. Cannibal or Plague basekit can basically do what this add-on does.
Yes but I think it is super strong compared to Clown Instadown or Huntress Hatchet Instadown. and with cannibal there is a lot more then just throwing 4 blades and getting a down, and plague has to build up that overtime.
-
I would like missed shots to be slightly less punishing.
i know higher level deathslingers do fine, and I'm not a very good deathslinger so maybe he is fine. but i cant really tell. frustrating to play
-
@Brimp said:
My theory as per bhvr fashion is that they didn't plan that far ahead. So they didn't make it so you can have the challenge selected even past the minimum contribution to get the reward.
Frustrating. Events should be Doable. Very Doable
-
Yeah the Main building is awful. 3 God Windows spawn in it. Can Become a Literal Infinite, survivors can force chase to be broken with those if they walk a little, so no window blocks for you. its disgusting
-
Im getting alot per game but im also running wglf or bbq

It's precisely that. A whole corridor has no hooks, the adjacent one might have maybe one, but too far away to reach. Sometimes there's a single hook in only one of them, but the whole middle area has no hooks too.
Yeah i think it started happening around the artist release
-
Yeah if ur talking about how the base floor a whole corridor has no hooks i feel it. very frustrating. i was denied a kill because I couldn't get to a hook anywhere
-
Some people say restarting the game works
