That would be way too OP especially since people are going pair it with the healing boon... why not have a new boon effect like vigil or leader while youre in the boon

Well if your contribution goes past 40 you'll know.
Mine happened to stop right in 40 so i moved on....
Just seems like most people would assume bhvr was counting everything on the back end for community challenges like they have done in the past

So there is a huge amount of confusion around whether or not you need to have the challenge selected to contribute to the 30 million after youve done your 40. Can you confirm that this is calculated in the background or if not at least make players aware via in game text that they need to keep it selected?

I'm unsure of this but doesn't tome 4 last for a month still? While the event is for 2 weeks, plus I believe the rift points go towards this rift pass so you get progress towards both. I know I'll be farming as killer breaking gens because I want the dredge outfit.
My rift has been done for a month so i couldnt care less about fragments but why would i keep a challenge ive already done selected when i have open ones that reward bp...

Needing to keep it selected after your personal is done makes no sense. Everyone will be doing either the challenges at the bottom or tome 4 challenges.

They surely do work in the background without needing to be selected, aside from the personal portion. Rift challenges just came out yesterday and everyone is doing the challenges at the bottom.

That was one of the worst things about previous DS. Too many times, four survivors left, one on a hook and one with active DS, and the one with active DS would get healed and go for the unhook because the killer couldn't stop them. Just thinking about it brings up that horrible feeling of I'm-about-to-quit-this-game-forever frustration. The killer is hooking multiple people in this situation, wanting to keep DS while making hook saves basically punishes the killer for not slugging everyone instead. Those days were not fun.
Yeah but now people will let you die on hook instead of losing their ds

The only info i wished they added was if you were in a swf or not when playing survivor because that does make a difference to enjoying the match... i assume theyll be able to track down the perks that were used as well because that often determines the "skill" of the player in question

I think the next chapter is going to be an original chapter. Don't know why, but I just have a feeling (that is most likely wrong).
My guess is that the killer will be a witch. A woman who was unjustly murdered during the witch trials, got picked up by the enitity and made into an actual witch.

As for the map I thought of a burnt down version of an 18th century town square with a graveyard section.
As for the survivor I had in mind: a young media personality who likes to explore "haunted" areas and film them. The type of guy who fakes reactions and edits in spooky stuff.
I think it'd be ironic to have such a character actually be abducted by the entity. Could bring some fun perks.

I think its very telling by how many Fog Whisperers have been openly vocal about this "event". Theyre supposed to be the middle guy between BHVR and the community but its clear they've almost all sold out and are just a mouth piece, for the price of a couple of Auric Cells. This would be a surefire way to increase tunneling and camping if that's what you're going for. And hope you're not tired of seeing the same killer over and over again every match because there will definitely be some that just arent viable with only their own vanilla perks.
