I like how they look but I doubt I'll get any of them. I never heard of crypt tv until recently. I may have to check them out

Survivor
Be gone Evil
Survivor is able to either destroy or rebuild one breakable wall every 120 seconds.
Killer
Secret obsession
The killer is shown who the obsession is the entire game while survivors are not told who the obsession is.
Decided to make 3 killer perks and 3 survivor perks on a hypothetical killer or survivor
-
Killer
Pin to earth
The killer can press a button on a survivor in the dying state to keep them in place for 10 seconds. Killer has a 60 second cooldown on this.
-
Survivor
Last means of escape
Exhaustion perk but gives 10 seconds of sprint but will put you in dying state no matter what
-
Killer
Hidden danger
One inactive totem is given your terror radius at the start of the game. The killers terror radius is removed until totem is cleansed. Once a survivor cleanses the inactive totem you regain your terror radius.
(Maybe instead do the totem and you both have a terror radius still or give killer the ability ability place terror radius on inactive totem(s?))
-
I kinda doubt it.
First lack of killer like others mentioned
Second is TWD is not nearly as popular as it once was. It's a dying IP and this started especially once (heavy spoilers) once Glenn died a large chunk of the fan base left, similar with Carl and Rick dying. I just don't see it being all that profitable for BHVR and doubt they'd do it since the IP is not nearly as well received as it once was. Season 4 and 5 was the peak of the series with viewers count and every season afterwards would have millions of less viewers. Fear of the walking dead is the next best performing show but only once season had more viewers than any season of TWD.

You neither need the Tombstone Piece nor the Tuft of Hair to do well with Myers. But his range of useful Add Ons is pretty limited, I mostly run the Hairbow and a stalking Add On, which is already a very strong Add On-Combination. But the bullshit Add Ons are not needed IMO.
Just out of curiosity, are you okay with keeping regular tombstone if the piece got removed?
I do agree Myers is addon dependent but I kinda like that about him honestly.

The only thing which annoys me with Iri Heads is that the Nerf is really lazy. This could have been done a few years ago, they knew before that this Add On was a problem. I mean, I dont mind, the Add On can be completely butchered, but it was a lazy Nerf.
@Topic:
When I think about Add Ons, I think about Pig and Myers.
Pig-->Changing outdated Add Ons like Tampered Timer, it is 2021, no need to have an Add On like this which basically only awards cheap RNG-Kills (combined with the purple Crate or the purple Sketch, it is impossible for a Survivor to do all the Boxes when disturbed only a little bit). That is the biggest one IMO.
Then they should rework the Add Ons which give Mangled and Exhaustion, because they only promote to tunnel people with a Trap. Hemorrhage might fall into the same category, however, I think giving it to her at Base would be neat, since the Survivor has a Trap attached to their Jaw, obviously they are bleeding.
Also outdated Add Ons like the ones which give more Skill Checks or make the penalty bigger should be reworked. They dont have any synergy anymore (Lullaby/Unnerving were patched years ago to not work with Jigsaw Boxes), so no reason to keep the Add Ons, which make it easier for experienced Survivors to get the Traps off (because of the increased Skill Checks), but harder for newer Survivors (because of the bigger penalty).
When it comes to replacements, I would like to have more Add Ons to promote her Stealth and Dash, because her Traps are not her only Power. They could also add stuff which increases Movement Speed while crouched, Ghostface has it, so no reason why Pig should not have it.
Myers:
Tombstone Piece and unlimited Evil need to go. People are saying it is hard to get to Tier 3, but it really isnt, especially when using the Memorial. They are simply outdated Add Ons.
Also, many of his Add Ons dont really see use, stuff like increased Movement Speed while stalking is not really useful, you just go from super-slow to less super-slow. The god awful Vanity Mirror also needs changes, it is a horrible Add On, there is no point in using it over Scratched Mirror (you only get 2% more Movement Speed and a bigger lunge, but have a smaller Aura Read, a Terror Radius and have to tier up first... Not worth using).
In general, I hope they give Myers some love, he is the prime example of a powercreeped Killer, when I started playing, Myers was ranked as low A-Tier all the time, now he barely makes mid C-Tier.
Yeah myers does make me sad playing him now. I don't mind the infinite tier 3 personally but I can agree on the other parts. I really hope he gets attention asap. On paper he sounds like he could potentially be really good but he needs addons looked at and his general abilities
-
Survivor
Will to live
You are committed to survival no matter the cost
Tier 1
Survivor can attempt to pick themselves up from the ground with a tremendiously difficult skill check. If successful will have mangled effect for the rest of the match when injured and will suffer deep wounds immediately after recovering from dying state. If failed, you lose half of your blleed out meter. Survivors can make multiple attempts and recover multiple times.
Tier 2 and 3 are slightly less difficult skill checks each
-
I honestly didn't mind Huntress's iri hatchets but I can see why people hated them. But I do think they went overboard on the nerf (would prefer make it 2 and cap at 2 instead of 1). Id honestly rather them just remove them at this point and give her a different ultra rare.
-
Myers
Because he has to wear William Shatners face all the time.
Tough times

There is one thing they have to stop : add-ons that are nerfing the power but offer points... No one uses these add-ons, and they are often brown (Nurse has also a yellow add-on of that kind, plus a brown. Two super useless add-ons).
Yeah most of those addons I dislike. There are a couple (out of the 23 killers mind you) that I've considered trying but they still don't feel worth it
-
I'm inclined to think most killers have a lot of pointless addons which makes me think killers should have the worthless addons be changed to be at least somewhat useful (even if barely noticeably better).
There are the cases where some addons are so good everything else is irrelevant which could require nerfing those addons and/or buffing others.
Myers I like a lot but I could be into some changes (keep Judith's and scratched mirror basically the same) while giving him a little more love on other addons and I'd be okay losing tombstone piece

I think because of some Dead Zones on some maps, Bubba is horrible to go against since he can just instant down you if you can't find a tile. The yeah Spirit who only has one counterplay really which is Iron Will + Walking. I think with Trickster you do get more time to get away from him but he just catches up much faster now, they need to nerf his knife basekit amount, i think he has enough knives for 8 health states...Huntress doesn't even have that.
Yea, plus most Bubbas I've played are camping ones so thats extra fun.
Trickster I still don't think is insanely strong but he does feel like he has too many knives. Id trade him getting less knives for making his knives have one bounce.

I think Trickster is one of the worst Killers to go against these days, i'd rather play against a skilled Nurse..having someone spam 100 blades at you in a chase is just irritating because you can't really do anything about it
Yeah it isn't the most fun counterplay. He is much less annoying than Bubba or spirit imo, but still not great
-
For real though
Killer- make even losing not a miserable experience. Losing is fine and all but typically if you lose you get trolled hard which is pretty miserable. Sometimes winning can even be just as bad
Survivor- give something else do to outside of gens. I personally don't mind doing gens but I do mind having to do 3 whole gens by myself most games
Overall I like the game a lot but there are certain aspects of it that just...arent fun
-
Make it more fun
-
Lots of Bubba, Spirit, and trickster for me honestly. (Midwest USA). Not the most fun

How would we even know that?!?
Based on what they do in the movies and what spirit does in game. They all do phasing while grudge and ring don't do anything else really beyond phasing.
Grudge MAYBE you could say weird crawling and loud noises but that's about it
Ring basically just crawling and phasing

Then that's old old ebony. When someone says old ebony nowadays, we automatically think before the most recent nerf.
Yeah that makes sense. I missed out on old mori (took a break) but played against old old moris and new moris. I wish it was "old mori" instead of being literally worthless now

Franklin's
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2146945#Comment_2146945
Most games end with survivors hardly making any BP unless you count the 5k for escaping. You don't play survivor for points. Killers are point sponges.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2146953#Comment_2146953
Keys are not a free escape. Generators still have to be completed.
If a killer has played their best and a survivor has played their worst, then the worst playing survivor wouldn't be the last one alive.
But that's specifically if you have Franklin's, not a natural game balance mechanic. That only works if you equip it before the match. They could very likely not start with a key and find one during the game.
Even Franklin's is a poor counter tbh. It's not that good of a perk, survivors hide Keys all the time which makes Franklin's worthless
(I'm not a killer main either just for the record, but you have to admit keys are busted)

No one should have any priority. It should be given to whoever gets there first.
Right now survivors get priority with keys though. It doesn't matter what killer does if a survivor has a key. The hatch itself I have some issues but the key thing alone is a big problem. Doesn't matter if killer closes hatch, hatch hasn't been closed, hatch never opened, etc. If a survivor k ows where a hatch is nearby and they have a key and are at full health they will get out

Unless your playing on a big screen it seems pretty tiny still. Ds got a nerf to tightly focus on tunnel prevention, to prevent abuse. everytime ds does activate, It's not being abused after all, so give it a larger skill check zone. Seems pretty logical.
I've only run DS once ever and that was recent. I could be wrong but wasn't the skill check zone like 1/4 or 1/3 of the circle?

If you're just sitting around waiting for your team to die, that wasn't bad luck, that was bad play.
No I wasn't waiting for my team to die. I hid in basement because someone brought her nearby. I was working on a gen above. I did 2 gens prior to that by myself
-
For those unaware
-
Killer- on Haddonfield killed 2 survivors and 2 were left. Only 2 gens got done. I downed the last two. I hooked one, went to walk away, then they unhooked themselves on first try (no perks or luck offerings to buff it). I turned around to down them again and hook again but got DSed. They ran to the other downed survivor who was laying on hatch. The survivor I hooked found a key during the match. Both got out. Easily the most upset I've been in a game
-
Survivor- I was in basement with a key (gave killer shack hatch offering) injured with huntress above nearby. A Survivor came downstairs, tried to heal me but failed a skill check right away then didn't finish healing me. He tan upstairs and got downed and hooked downstairs and I was trapped in basement locker. Huntress opened my locker right away. I just needed one person to die before I could use hatch....
-
I mean the grudge and the ring would have basically the same power as Spirit. Not really necessary for either.
-
I mean, technically any killer could be if buffed too much

I think DS should work on both hook stages but cancel out during endgame personally
As for BT I’m fine with it currently. They could remove collision for the unhooked though
Yeah id be fine with that for DS
Id also like the same thing for BT as your suggested DS change
The (original one way above) BT change suggestion I think would make other perks more appealing though. Right now it feels like a must have perk and I just don't love that tbh.

While I like the idea of making more perks viable I don’t think this is the way to go. Perks like Bt, Ds and Ub are used because they counter annoying strategies like camping or tunnelling.
If we just nerf these perks killers will be more inclined to adopt these strategies
And that I totally get. I guess it would work better to do a combination of nerfs and buffs.
Let's take BT for example, with the ptb changes there's no reason to not run it in its current state regardless of what is done to other perks. Unless they made something like DS gives multiple stuns regardless of hooks BT will always be ran more. Id be totally fine making some adjustments to survivor basic gameplay to compensate for a BT nerf (like survivors get a 3 or 5 second built in BT, while the perk adds an extra 5 seconds)
Ds is in a good place now imo. I could see maybe changing it (I don't use it now so this may be a thing anyways) Survivor can self care but once they full heal DS deactivates while a partial heal leaves DS still active.
UB is more difficult tbh. Maybe keep as is?
-
Just make Hatoful Boyfriend but replace the pigeon with a crow and the humans with each killer
-
They've thrown around the idea of making other objectives which could be cool.
Id love for them to also nerf a lot of meta survivor perks (not from the argument that survivors are OP) but it's hard to imagine using other perks unless they get buffed very aggressively (excessively even) since the meta has mostly stayed the same for years.

I don't think the main survivors or killers will be from post RE3 (or aide games) due to
1. Games beyond re3 are generally the less popular games (there are exceptions to this like re4).
2. The games beyond re3 are less iconic, have less memorable bosses, and they mostly reuse OG characters anyways
3. The umbrella logo charm (this one is a slight stretch) makes it seem like there will be clear influence from umbrella era in the game.
4. Similar to point 1, but the original trilogy is considered great even if it's not a players cup of tea. People who don't necessarily enjoy re1,2, or 3 still view them as being very important and quality games that deserve a lot of praise even if people aren't as drawn to it like re7 or re4 for example. Much less haters of the OG 3.
With all of that I don't expect anything from 6,7, or 8. Probably nothing from 5. I could see a skin or some references to 4. Nothing from 0 or revelations games due to having more of a cult following.
I could see a variety of legendary skins included with a male and female primary survivor (my guess is Leon and Claire) with potential legendary skins of Jill, Chris, Wesker
Killer I could honestly see 2 happening but if it just one I bet mrx over nemesis, Lisa Trevor, OG Tyrant, and Birkin
-
It seems like him and Oni are considered the best balanced killers from release since neither has had any real changes. (Although I think oni could use a slight nerf)

1: Mr. X is a year older than Nemesis and nobody cared about him until 2 years ago, 19 years after his debut. This is because he's pretty generic. So generic that Mr. X isn't even his real name, a toy company slapped it on him and Capcom has never officially labeled him that. He's named T-00. The guy really isn't iconic and it's just recency bias and internet memes propping him up.
2: You should play the original RE3. Original Nemesis is scarier and more dangerous than even remake RE2 Tyrant.
3: A rocket launcher would be a lot easier to implement than Deathslinger's speargun was. It could absolutely make it in, it just couldn't be his primary power because Nemesis did not stand back sniping people with a rocket launcher all day. I'd take Birkin over a generic Tyrant any day though.
Honestly I could see them not doing Nemesis since when has been attached one if the least popular RE games (Remake3). People were salttttyyy, but I like dit well enough despite it being short and his chases were lackluster. The issue is if this was released before remake3 I think Nemesis would be a shoe in but Remake3 kind of tarnished him to many and he is the only reference point for younger players (which is a shame). Now I could see them just wanting to avoid that whole thing since people just weren't into him overall in remake3, while Mrx was very well liked in the remake.
I dont think think it's for sure not Nemesis but he isn't guaranteed. I'd put Birkin and Mrx with about the same probability.
If it were Nemesis, id love for them to essentially do his setup from his first fight. Fire everywhere!!
Rocket launcher feels just too farfetched, even in this over the top game tbh.
Id love to get Lisa Trevor from Remake personally

Seems like such a no-brainer move. If there is a shortage of killers or survivors, causing longer queue times, goad players into playing the other role by giving blood point bonuses.
Just have a header that comes up like this, "in order to alleviate survivor wait times, the next ten killers will receive double blood points".
Oh and obviously make the killer experience more fun in general, but that is much more difficult to do in my opinion.
Yeah im not entirely sure what the solution is. I'm inclined to think that the goal should be to make the less popular side mostly more fun to use. Getting lots of BP but being miserable as a role isn't going to be that motivating longterm.
-
But like....why would you need to pick everyone since you won't use 90% if the survivors (killers are a bit different).
-

It's fine, how often do you see a Myers oppressing people with it? On paper it's busted sure, and in a good killer's hands it's busted af as well but it's not something that is abused and honestly I enjoy that Myers has an exclusive add on like that. I think it should stay as is, leave it alone no need to try and reinvent the wheel. If you buffed Myers to be on par with killers like Billy and Oni then sure nerf it but as it currently stands it's a perfectly fine add on on a killer that is mediocre at best.
Plus, I think people should keep in mind this is on myers and not on someone like spirit or nurse. Having one really good thing on one of the worst killers is okay
-
What I expect to happen is myers to get both taken away, be given half baked add ons that aren't useful, and he receives no meaningful buffs or reworks
-
It's a nice unique addon for a killer, especially an already weak one. I do like the idea of changing the piece to something else entirely (mostly because I think it's unnecessary to keep both tombstone) while keeping judiths tombstone as is.

Original RE3 is literally the best version of Nemesis! Go play it.
Unfortunately I don't think I have a way to:(
-
Hot take
I really hope it's not nemesis
For a few reasons
1. I feel like he has been overused and I'd rather give others like mrx a chance to shine more. We have MvC, Resistance, Reverse, and Remake3 (im sure other things have had him in some capacity in recent years too)
2. Granted I never played original re3 but remake3 he was cool but not THAT cool imo. I liked him but felt he was overhyped
3. Things like not having his rocket launcher makes me just rather have someone like Birkin or mrx tbh
