  • If Leon and Ada are in a match together, then Leon would have to follow her the entire match, heroically throwing himself between her and the killer each time, only to end up being left on the hook by Ada, watching her walking elegantly through the exit gate to disappear. That would be at least somewhat lore accurate. When it comes to Ada, Leon is a lovestruck, foolish puppy. :p

You don't need to get every character to prestige 3 to unlock the tier 3 perks. Tier 3 perks can still be unlocked manually in each individual character's Bloodweb. Getting to prestige 3 is for if you want certain perks available on all characters at tier 3 automatically. If you play a lot of characters, then getting characters to prestige 3 is useful. However, if you only play a couple characters, getting to P3 is a waste of time.

The only difference between the new system and the old system for you is that you need to go up ten more Bloodwebs to unlock teachable perks, reaching Prestige 1 instead of stopping at level 40. Then, the teachables are unlocked at tier 1 automatically on all characters, and after that you can unlock tiers 2 and 3 manually in individual characters' Bloodwebs.

Thank you, finally someone explained it good enough, I have to admit, after they changed the system I was very confused.

Do you know how long it will take to get the tier 2 and 3 perks in the bloodwebs ? Has BHVR reduced the chance of getting those perk tiers faster because they want players to prestige or is it still the same as it used to be?

  • Favorite: Spirit

Least Favorite: Nurse (because I can´t handle her xD)

  • @RpTheHotrod said:

Frankly, if you get a perk to tier 1, you're golden. It usually only takes a few bloodweb levels before tier 2 and 3 show up, in my experience. What sucked was trying to find the tier 1 in the bloodweb that you wanted before the update. Getting 2 and 3 after that is easy.

Yeah, that was the case before ... is it still the case that after prestiging all characters to 1 , that I can get the tier 2 and 3 perks in all the bloodwebs reletively easy without spending serveral millions on a single character to get the other tier stages in their webs?

  • To be honest I never actually used DH or DS, I liked other perks more. Before the rework patch, I was constantly changing my builds, sometimes bond/open handed, sometimes quick and quiet/head on, sometimes totem builds. Just the way I wanted to. The only perk I've ever had was Iron Will because I'm not super good at looping and IW has helped me stay in the match longer.

But after the last update I have a relatively solid build for the first time. Prove thyself (I use it almost in every match , it replaced Iron will) , Overzealous, Déjà Vu and either COH or OTR. It's not hard to see that almost all of these are perks affect gen speed. Since gen speed was nerfed, as a solo queue survivor who isn't a god looper, I feel forced to smash gens ASAP to even get a chance to see the endgame countdown.

Before the patch, I didn't feel that much pressure and would go totem hunting or opening chests between gens, now I only focus on gens.

So yeah, for me a new meta has been created with the new patch. Gen rush builds. I know , many survivors did that before, but I have never found it necessary. I don't like the whole thing, I'd much rather keep experimenting with lots of perks, but when I'm not playing in a swf I just want to finish the match asap, otherwise I'm not escaping at all 99% of the time.

  • I'm 38, when I'm on social media in certain gaming groups, I see most people in my age range, 30-45.

When we were teenagers, gaming really started to become popular in the late 90's with the playstation 1 era. Before that, gaming was more of a niche, with the PS1 it became mainstream. And when gaming became mainstream, we were just in our teenage years, we took off with this hobby and it grew on many of us.

That's why it doesn't surprise me when I see many gamers in my age group. why should we give up a hobby we love just because we are getting older? Other people don't do that with their hobbies either.

I'll still be playing video games when I'm 80, hopefully if I'm physically able to do so.

In fact, with DBD, most of the people I've met here are 18-25. DBD, on average, seems to attract a younger community more than many other games I play besides DBD.

I always feel a bit strange when someone asks the age of the other players in a random group in disord. And everyone is like, "yeah, I'm 21, I'm 23, I'm 19" and I....ooomph....lol.

I also find it very amusing that some people who are now in their early 20s can't believe that we "old" people already knew video games. haha. I also have a son, he´s 21 years old, he´s a gamer too, and he got his passion for gaming from me, he used to watch me play as a kid or play racing games sitting on my lap. He's been playing DBD longer than me and is pretty good at it.

At the end of the day, I don't care how old my teammates are. I get along with almost everyone as long as the person has a minimum of intellectual maturity.

  • Can only speak for myself but I don't like clown because of his laugh. Do you know that when some things (also in real life) simply trigger you on other people, and you then find this person unsympathetic?

I can't explain why exactly, but Clown's laughter makes me aggressive. There's something about that laugh that makes me angry.

Lol, sorry, guys I really can't explain it any better. :D

  • Here , also a PC player. I've only been playing on PC for years, but I also have a gamepad in addition to a mouse and keyboard.

I always play survivor with gamepad, the movements feel much smoother to me with gamepad .... but killer ? Never.

I would never play killer without a mouse and keyboard, you can aim much more accurately with the mouse than with any gamepad.

  • There is barely any killers playing ?

Oh, I actually wish I COULD play killer ´cause survivor is way too stressful during this event , maybe it´s different in high MMR but in my matches kilers are going crazy if they see more than 2 flans (incuding the blood hunt) and that isn´t fun. So I can get hardly value out of my flans.

I played killer some days of the event and it was so so so much better.

But since 2 days killer queue is awful ALL DAY AND NIGHT. I have insta survivor queue 24/7

Maybe most solo survivors had enough and switched to killer for the event to get value out of their flans and the bloodhunt and now I am forced to play survivor and to ruin my mood with it.

I am actually glad if the event and the blood hunt is over, so I can quit the game again for a few weeks. At the moment I feel forced to play it (altough I would like to play other games) because I have to bring my characters to 50 for the prestige rework and there will no change to get that much BP anytime soon again.

I envy the people who already have all characters on P3 and all perks unlocked for all characters, they don't care about BP and they can play or skip events as they want without skipping being negative for them.

  • Yes, same here.

I had a long break from DBD, came back to try out the event. I wanted to play chill, so that all players have a chance to win a mask.

First match immediately a gen rushing squad, with flashlights all over the place.

Afterwards in the chat they laughed about me and said how ######### person I am.

Second match, same, again purely hardcore sweaty swf.

And that's it for me. I have absolutely no interest in playing even one more match, ######### the event and ######### the masks.

I've been playing for maybe 30 minutes today and I'm already feeling extremely stressed again. I have never felt so much stress in all the time without DBD. I'm now leaving DBD again and continuing to play other games without toxic hardcore sweaty swf teams insulting you and laughing at you even though you tried to get the best out of the event for all players.

I'm too old for this teen bully squad bullshit

I personally think if they removed depipping you would see way more killers playing different killers. I play as nice as can be for the most part while still playing killer to kill but when I am making the climb from Ash to Iri Red 1 Grade I play less variety of killers try to get to the BP Reward Iri Grade. After that (like the last few days) I start doing stupid builds and going Victor Fishing and stuff. I meme with a Pirate Hat but not until I hit that Iri 1.

I wish they'd remove depipping for that alone, you could run dumb stuff more and not worry about losing that pip.

Not only that. I think it would reduce the salt quite a bit. And DCing.

I've heard many times players say they DC because they know the match would have resulted in a minus pip anyway and it felt like a waste of time.

And let's be honest. It's extremely frustrating (especially in solo queue) when you've did a lot of hard work to get 3 pips and then you get 3 tunneling and/or face camping killers in a row and all your previous hard work is just ... gone.

It's so much RNG in a match at times, things that are completely out of your control but you're being penalized for.

Of course, no pips should be given without effort. To pip players still have to put in some work in a match, but if the match is going badly then there should just be a safety pip. But the minus pips have to go, in my opinion it's one of the reasons for very sweaty gameplay on both sides, and because minus pips are causing high frustration it also leads to salt and toxicity.

  • Yeah ... I had a bad experience as survivor as well the last time (and killer is also not better) so I didn´t wanted to play the game at all today, I just wasn´t in the mood for all the toxicity ... but then I saw their new survey with rewards and so I decided to play a few matches to answer their questions. And the last question is "Did you want to play another one right after this match?

Of course, I DO play more matches because you need 7 for the rewards but actually I could answer this question with a big NO every single time. In my solo survivor matches most of the killers slug, tunnel and face camp (at 5 gens) ... and I know for sure if I would switch to killer now I would be against pro squads on comms.

I think only swf players (4 stack) can have fun in this game. Solo survs (at least oif they aren´t god loopers) and killers (at least if they aren´t god nurse or blight) are pretty much screwed.

  • Guys, thanks for the answers. Really, I am glad that I am not the only one with feelings of anxiety.

There is another thing going on in my head right now.

What do you think would have to happen for your anxiety to go away?

Buff the weaker killers so that they have better chances against swf and not get bullied into the ground?

But then solo queue would have a huge problem, which already sucks. So that can't be the solution.

I've asked myself this question so many times what could be done, but I can't come up with a satisfactory answer.

You can't get solo queue anywhere near swf.

Even if BHVR puts some icons in solo queue to show other players what you are doing, it doesn't bring solos anywhere near swf.

And if you buff killer to not have it so hard against swf, solo survivors suffer even more than they already do.

When I read through the forum and also think about my own feelings, one thing is pretty clear.

Solo survivor and killer have a hard time in the game. I never read such topics about fears and frustrations from swf players.

However, since swf and discord will always be a part of the game, I can only conclude that it is impossible to balance the game so that killers and solo survivors can have a good time as well. SWF is just way too strong and dominant now that it seems impossible for me to ever balance the game at this point again.

That's why I'm so looking forward to the bots (regardless of whether I'm a survivor or killer) to have a relaxed and chill time in the game and not anxiety and stress.

What do you think about that ? Do you think it´s still possible to change the game to make it better for killers and solo survivors?

  • @[Deleted User] said:

I get anxious because of the social aspect. If you lose you are going to get shamed by 4 people unfairly. If you tunnel or camp you are going to get shamed even though it gets you the W. Sometimes even if you just miss an attack or get stunned survivors will use it to spam flashlight or teabag. It's a humiliating experience. I have not overcome this and it's ruining the game for me. Right now im only playing 1 match per day per role for the XP bonus. But when bots come out i might just play bot matches only. Survivor players don't get scared of killers anymore, so what's the point, there's no fun in playing with real people.

Yes I know what you mean. I played survivor yesterday and we were up against a one yellow perk nurse. She didn't stand a chance, she didn't hit a single blink and gens flew. 3 of us alreday left but one of my teammates ran back to her on purpose after the gates were open to loop her to the last second to show her their dominance. They didn't even give her a little hit for BP. I found it disgusting.

I then wrote to the person in the PGC that really I respect them for playing Nurse because she´s so difficult to learn. I just felt sorry for the player and wanted to leave them a few kind words.

You seem to be just like me, waiting for bots to escape from real people if you want to play killer.

  • @DrDeepwound said:

Certainly, I think we all had/have it to an extent until you get confident enough to jump in the battle no matter the odds.

Performance anxiety is real and the way I got over it was to just tell myself take the match chase by chase and don't get too hung up on winning or losing, play each chase to your best. If you get bested at a loop, drop chase and find someone else but keep trying.

It gets easier and I totally feel you, unfortunately this happens to all athletes, performers, etc,... you gotta play through it until it no longer effects you.

good luck in your next match

Yes, maybe it actually has something to do with this. Fear of giving a bad performance, fear of 4 people making fun of me. You don't even need the PGC for this, you can already feel it in the match if the 4 survivors don't take you seriously.

I'm a grown person, I live alone and I have my own household and I almost feel stupid to feel anxiety about a video game. I often try to tell myself that the survivors who make fun of you or even try to bully you are probably teenagers and not grown people who have both feet on the ground. But somehow that doesn't help either. Like I said ... I feel almost stupid

  • I used all my cakes and party streamers in the PTB. Because I couldn't really lose them there.

In live, I never use them. I've had the experience (even in the PTB where people are actually a bit more chilled) as soon as someone brings BPS, the other side plays extremely sweaty. And in live it´s even worse.

I don't waste my BPS in live anymore, where I'm pretty sure going to be tunneled out of the match and using the offering isn't worth it at all for me.

I don't know how many cakes and BPS I've already collected on my main survivor, but I know that they will stay safe in my inventory ...until the next PTB, where it doesn't matter if I use them or not.

  • Is it really fun for me when the match ends after 3 minutes with 4K on 5 gens?

I find it boring to tunnel from the start, I have a self-imposed rule. I'm starting to tunnel on 2 gens. Either it's enough to turn the game around, or if not then not. I don't need every match 3K or 4K, why would I want that? That would only get me faster into high mmr where all the killer squads are lurking.

It's weird. As a survivor I'd like to be in high mmr because the changes of getting better teammates in high mmr are higher in solo queue, but as a killer I'm happy if I can stay out of high mmr. That's why I'm not fixated on winning, which is probably why I'm more chilled.

And I know it's hard for survivors (especially solos who aren't super good players aka loopers) to earn BP because I also play survivor myself. I know the pain on both sides, so I think I behave a little more empathetically. Maybe also because I'm an emphatic person in real life, that's just part of me.

I don't want to tunnel a player right at the beginning of the game, that means 100% 2K or 3K BP max and a minus pip.

And the grind is so insane.

I don't feel good when I realize that only I enjoy the match and only I get points.

    But that's just me

  • @Steel_Eyed said:

I don’t see the problem. You were the last hook? So you were automatically being sacrificed? And the killer was celebrating with a few actions like nodding? And the killer said he hadn’t been winning so that made celebration more likely?

Therefore that killer is toxic? Not in my book bud.

Want my opinion on this scenario? I think OP was a person in a losing situation trying to find a moral victory. Yeah, the survivor got sacrificed, but the killer was a meanie. Which clears the survivors losing ego from reality. Cause ‘they’ were mean in the last seconds of ‘my’ losing trial.

    Reading and understanding is art.

The player himself ADMITTED to taking his frustration out on me for opponents in another match.

    He wanted to BM me.

I don't care if I escape or not, I just want BP. And repeatly hitting on hook is toxic, it´s jsust unnessecary m and he admitted it.

But maybe I'm not 14 anymore, and I've learned empathy in the course of my life and just can't understand such actions because I find it completely immature and don't think it's good for the community.

And by the way... I was speaking from both sides. ;)

  • @oh_salutations said:

BT as a perk won't ever be base kit, But they might have a small window of enduring after a hook (like probably 5 secs), so if a killer perk would be base kit then it should be a less extent of the original,

one idea I had was Tinkerer, But it only activates once per gen on base kit

I wouldn´t be sure about that BT as a perk won´t veer be base kit. I remember the Q&A stream 3 months ago. One of the first questions was if BT and DS will ever become base kid at some point.

Patrick said: We have no plans to make !! DS !! base kit.

And then Peanits said: You only mentioned DS, do we have anything at all for base kit?

And Patrick said again: There are NO plans to make DS base kit.

Since he only said NO to DS , I wouldn´t be sure that BT will never become base kit.

As for killers: Corrupt intervention for sure

  • No. Often when I see it, I even have to laugh and think "Ok, you little rat, you now earned an extra sweet chase". :D

I'm not upset about it. Of course they won't let me kick the gen in peace with pop and lose 25% progress on a nearly finished gen.

When the gen is almost done, it's a risky but worthwhile gamble if it works.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/321603/is-there-a-reason-for-no-singleplayer-botmode

Yes there is one reason. And it is very simple They don't want anyone who likes playing games by themselves to play DBD. Sucks for them though, because that's a HUGE AMOUNT of people.

well .... gameplay isn´t really fun without perks and for the grind you still had to play live online mode. There shouldn´t be a possibility to earn bloodpoints during the custom mode. Most complain that when they for example try a new killer they hate being thrown in the deep end (because mmr doesn't work as it should) and prefer to get acquainted with the killer and its power in a practice mode first. To be honest, I've hardly ever seen anyone who wants to play custom mode all the time and never live again. Most just want an opportunity to practice. Such a mode would also be helpful for insecure survivors to learn how to counter the killer power or to learn and understand the maps and loops better.

  • Speaking from the survivor perspective (i also play killer) i have to honestly say that i would be grateful if we had more stuff to do.

When the killer is chasing a teammate. What should we do apart from gens? We hardly have any objectives.

I would find it much more interesting if, for example, you had to find cables and oil in order to be able to start repairing the generators at all. Perhaps the cables, oil and so on could be locked away behind small puzzles that first have to be solved. Of course you would have to balance that so that the killer doesn't get a easy 4K while the survivors still try to solve the puzzles.

Whatever...gen-rushing isn't fun and I wouldn't mind more, fresh objectives.

  • Do you know what I'm wondering?

There are these bots that were taken from dbd mobile by hackers and sent into dbd on pc in live matches.

Not only are there killer bots, hackers have also taken survivor bots and upgraded them so that the surv bots can deal with the various killers. If hackers can, why can't BHVR?

Not in live matches of course, but as a custom mode to practice.

Or just let us access custom game without the need of another person.

  • I already wrote it somewhere else yesterday.

I had a match on midwich, I was pinhead and all the survivors were dead but one. I didn't know where the last survivor was, I looked for him and found him crouching in a corner near the exit gate. I only saw his back though, and didn´t saw the green glyphe he was trying to interact with until I alraedy started the hit animation. He then went down and I immediately felt miserable because I play both roles and know exactly how annoying some of the glyph challenges are. Especially if your opponent won't let you do them. So I picked him up, let him wiggle free and let him do the glyph. As a little bonus, I let him open the gate and escape afterwards because I already had 3K and because I accidentally almost ruined his challenge.

I find as a killer you lose nothing by seeing a survivor interact with a glyph and then letting them complete the glyph. You can always down him afterwards if you want. But it doesn't hurt to be a little emphatic in some situations.

  • I don´t care at all and I have zero problems with it.

I play a videogame for the gameplay, I don´t care if the characters I play are straight or gay

Im saying i want shrine of secrets to have more teachables than just 4. i have more than enough bp soo

That would be nice, but the other problem is the bloodweb and its RNG. Imagine you finally get the perk of your dreams in the shrine but then the blood web just doesn't want to give you that perk. You wait days, sometimes weeks. You get all ######### and useless perks in a loop but the one perk you want.... nada, the bloodweb says:" Well dude, ######### you ... I guess not ...."

I HATE IT SO MUCH. There are so many killers where I have already the teachables from other characters for but still didn´t get them in their web.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2927977#Comment_2927977

Im almost an exclusive killer main, because i find surv boring. 80% of my playtime comes from blight and huntress. Pipping up as killer is honestly way less challenging than my experience with surv. Infact, I play so little survivor I have only prestiged one survivor, which is claudette. Also yeah the grind is quite tedious. Most of my teachables have been acquired through the shrine of secrets

Yes, the grind is especially bad as a killer.

I have a main survivor character (mikaela, but without COH, I´m not one of these :D ) and she now has almost all tier 3 perks that exist in the game. I think there are still 6 perks missing, after that she has everything you can have.

But with killers it's more of a problem, because every killer has its unique power and you need special perks with every killer so that you have a chance. That means you have to grind these perks with almost all killers and the blood web RNG is HORRIBLE .

And then BHVR keeps releasing new characters with new perks all the time and the grind just keeps getting worse.

  • Only meta perk I can´t paly without is Iron Will. I SUCK hard at looping so I can´t last without iron will.

I never use DH, DS or Unbreakable. I think they´re boring. I only use BT if I have a "Unhook teammates safely" challenge.

I love WGLF (for BP) or bond/open handed combo.

And sometimes I´ll even run bad perks, but I think they are funny.

  • @Agt_Scully said:

The challenge states, "They will be briefly revealed in the Endgame Collapse." Does this mean the glyphs only show up in Endgame?

No, it definitely has nothing to do with the EGC.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with all gens being done, but not with the EGC. Because as written above. In my match, the glyph spawned after all the gens were done, and I allowed the last surv to do the challenge before letting him open the gate. So before the EGC started.

  • The highest I had achieved as a survivor was Iri 4.

And I don't even know why, because that was at the very beginning after I'd only had the game for 2 months and I was bad. Maybe the opponents were probably too easy back then because I was still a new player. Since then I have never managed to get back into iri level, the highest was always gold.

But I can't loop, that has a lot to do with it. So I would definitely disagree with someone saying that anyone can achieve Iri if they play often enough. To loop well you need skill, not everyone has this skill to double pip constantly in higher grades. If, like me, you're bad at looping, you're very likely to be one of the first eliminated, especially when tunneling and camping is very popular. If you can't loop well, neither DH nor BT nor DS will help you to last in a chase and get a good amount of points . That means I feel lucky if I can get a safety pip, but pip constantly would be an impossible dream for me. xD

That's why I think that players who manage to get into iri grades relatively quickly every month HAVE a certain level of skill. Especially solo players. In swfs it is often the case that a worse player can be carried by his team into Iri ranks.

Sometimes if I play killer I see teams where red ranks playing worse than ashes.

I was already on Iri 1 with Killer, pipping as a killer is also faster for me than when I play survivor. But I'm generally a better killer player than survivor player. Because as a killer I don't have to loop xD

But also as a killer... the longer you play, the harder your opponents get, the longer and harder it is to get 3 or 4K consistently. I also see more and more safety pips instead of actual + pips.

The only thing frustrating about not making it to Iri is the sweet BP rewards you're missing out on. Especially if you still have a ton of perks to grind. If only the grind would finally be fixed sigh

  • The Killer has to be Red.

    Red is ALWAYS sus xD

  • I had a survivor with this challenge in my killer matches yesterday.

I was Pinhead on Midwich, he was the last survivor alive, I didn't know where he was, I found him crouching in a corner right by the exit gate. I only saw his back when I looked around the corner, I didn't see the green glyph he was trying to interact with until I started the hit animation. He went down and I felt so miserable that I picked him up, let him wiggle free so he could do the glyph, and then I let him open the gate and escape. I know how annoying these glyph challenges are, so I couldn't kill him after almost accidentally taking away his ability to complete this challenge.

A good deed every day, that was mine for that day. xD

Solo survivor is only worse if 1) it's a pinhead or 2) you get found first

maybe in high mmr where the whole team is good. That's something I don't understand about this community. Why can't one admit that solo survivors (the majority of solo players are not super strong players but move more in low or mid mmr) are really the weakest role.

That doesn't mean that Killer can't be absolutely miserable, I play both roles myself. But if you don't just look at the game one-sidedly then you know that swf dominates the game but that solo survivor really can't be compared to it at all. Except maybe in high mmr.

  • Nah, if you don´t focus on getting 4K every match.

Solo survivor is much worse, I usually switch to my killers to relax from solo survvior queue where I feel way more stressed and frustrated.

And yes, of course there are survivor teams that will break you, that will bully you, but whenever that happens I'm like, "Well... if I were playing (solo) survivor instead, I'd probably be tunneled out of the game early with 2 or 3K BP max.

Whereas as a killer, i stay in the game until the end even against bully squads and get significantly more BP even without kills instead of as a solo survivor. That mindset makes me more chill as a killer. I get angry much more slowly as a killer but as I said, my focus is BP and not 4K.

To be honest I'm actually quite happy if I don't get 3 or 4K all the time because I don't want to get into high mmr at all. It seems absolutely uncomfortable for killers to be there and I can't understand why so many killers sweat so hard and stress themselves out to get 4K whenever possible because that means the more 4K you do the quicker you get into high mmr and the more often you see pro-swf teams.

  • I don't think it has anything to do with COD either, whoever finds tunneling a viable strategy will continue to do so.

Of course it's more than frustrating when you're not a god at looping and therefore always get removed from the game very quickly with 2 or 3K BP.

Basically, I think this is the main problem that survivors have with tunneling. When the killer decides to tunnel you, it feels like a waste of time as you barely gain bp and lose pips. Even worse when the queues are longer than the match. If the penalties for being removed early from the match weren't as hard, I think players would be a lot less angry, frustrated, or less tempted to DC.

Didn't BHVR write in their post about the matchmaking tests under the category "learning" that they want to work on a team-based score so that points for survivors should no longer be calculated individually but based on team performance?

I think that would be a step in the right direction. That wouldn't make tunneling and camping any less popular for the killers, but it would be less frustrating for the survivor who's tunneled out early when the rest of the team is still doing a good job and the tunneling victim still ends up catching on through overall team performance receives acceptable points.

I can imagine that this step would mitigate a lot of the anger and there would also be less DCs

  • As far as I remember, BHVR was specifically referring to a custom mode with bots in their survey, and not playing against bots in the main game.

And I don't see why any person wculd disagree with it.

The mode would be perfect for practicing, whether it's a survivor player who wants to practice looping or a killer player who wants to practice a new killer or a killer they have less experience with before being thrown in at the deep end.

There would be no emblems or BP in that mode so to level and grind people would still have to play the normal mode but for practicing it would be optimal and I'm 100% for it.

An "All-Random" perks mode is pretty much the only variant version of DBD that I've heard of that sounds compelling to me. The primary constraint would be how to make sure everyone's perk pools are sufficiently large enough to participate? For example, if you pick a survivor who you only have their own teachables unlocked on, since you're a very new player, you probably wouldn't get much out of it. Alternatively, if you're a survivor who only has the free characters and do not want to purchase any DLC - even with all of the free character's teachables, would that be enough perks to have a sufficiently random experience?

Dude, it's supposed to be a casual game mode. No competitive game mode.

It doesn't matter if you have the best perks or not, and it doesn't matter if you win every game or not.

It should just be for fun, play with what you have, just casual.

The sweatlords can play the normal gameplay with pure meta.

Alternatively, in this game mode they could unlock all the perks for all players without grinding through a blood web. So every player would have all the perks and the game could then randomize more easily.

Again... it's not meant to be normal gameplay. If you want to grind and sweat, you can play the whole normal main queue. There should also be no BP, it should just be a game mode for in between.

I can definitively say you’re wrong about always getting top squads as killer regardless of your MMR. My better killers get better survivors, my worst killers get worse survivors. I definitely don’t get top squads when I play Deathslinger.

Why do you just say I'm wrong? I honestly think it's pretty rude because you're accusing me of lying right now.

Maybe we're playing at different times, in different regions?

It's rare that I don't get good survivor teams, very rare. And I'm losing more killer matches than I'm winning, my mmr can't be high. I still get almost every match good survivors. It doesn't matter if I use an older or a new killer that I've hardly played.

Maybe there are too many survivor players in the queue when I have time to play killer (maybe there are a lot more survviors than killers in my region) who have to wait too long for matches and the game throws everything at me what has to wait the longest.

This is my experience, and certainly not a lie just because you've had different experiences.

Is David really the type of basic white guy that gays thirst over. I would have said Jake over David.

I think for some gays david might be their type and others might find jake hotter, some might even find leon or steve or whoever hotter.

I'm not gay, I'm female and straight, but if I think about it, my taste in men and that of my female friends is very different.

I think it's like that everywhere, no matter what gender you love. Tastes and types are different for everyone.

Whatever. I am completely fine with their decision and I am glad that the lgtbq people are happy with it. :)

  • Yes, it has been changed. I experience more cheaters than before. lol.

From the matchmaking perspective. Nothing has changed.

Solo queue is still the worst and most frustrating game mode, and as a killer you always get top squads on comms no matter if you are low or high mmr xD

  • Only if you play dirty.

I'm not a gamer who likes to play dirty, so I get bullied even with bubba. xD

Yesterday I had a match with 2 ace's, with 2 flashlights. I don't know if they were cheaters, because they were able to perma stun me with the flashlights, without me being able to see anything for a long time, I wouldn't be surprised because since the mmr changes sadly I've seen a lot of cheaters.

At some point I just went into the basement, turned off the dbd sound and watched twitch.

But after such experiences I can understand anyone who plays dirty. I've seen some videos with insidious bubba. Sure, the tactic might be good to heal your soul crushed by survivors, but you hardly get any BP for it and since I still have a lot of grinding to do, my focus is still on BP.

AND ... I love the bubba video, I saw it already 2 times before. It´s a masterpiece.

  • If they exploit the fence bug then slug everyone who does so.

Then they just have to bleed out for several minutes if they want to play that way.

I had to do the same thing back when boil over was so strong.

And if they use perks like no mither along with the fence bug (also a popular combo with boil over back then) to keep getting up and running to fences, report them for holding hostage. And run a video recording software in the background if you see haddonfield offering ^^

Yeah I heard it's supposed to be a huge update. Ugh... I just want to see the new Haddonfield.

Yeah, me too. Although ... I'm actually conflicted

I heard some killers (especially nurses) are unstoppable on the new haddonfield map.

And I really don't feel like playing only Haddonfield against nurses in the next few weeks. xD

The fact that I don't have friends for swf makes the whole thing even worse, because in solo queue you lose 99% of all matches anyway.

Maybe the killer gameplay will be a little more fun with the new hemorrhage buffs, then I'll probably only play killer.

Although... the cheaters.... .... and again ... sigh :D

  • Mine´s updating right now .... 22,8 GB sigh

I got face camped twice on Sunday but like an adult I just queued up again and moved on.

Did you even understand what this thread is about, dude? I mean .... did you see the picture? :D

Also as nemesis, being being bodyblocked by my own zombies when going through shack door while carrying a survivor. They allowed the survivor to escape. Toxic zombies. But it was fun.

lol, yeah, that happens to me too when I play nemesis.

In one of my last matches, my zombie blocked my hook. Thanks, traitor. :D

Now this thread gets deleted because of the naming and shaming and you didn't read the rules me thinks.

Edit: Nvm you did it in time.

Yes, I said I didn't think about it at the moment. I did not want that. It's the middle of the night here and I'm tired. I don't want to argue either, so sorry for my tone. I just want a normal, friendly conversation and discussion, if that's possible here in the forum.

Hey you need to edit your screen shot so people wont think its a witch hunt. Aka mods.

Yeah, I did, thank you, I forgot about it, I am tired. xD
