Except it becomes obvious when it happens multiple times a match, or if you just swing randomly in a spot that doesn't make sense and they suddenly dead hard. Its happening at a rate such that i nearly have 1 a game at this point.
The hackers of old that used crazy speedhacks and completed all 5 gens in 10 seconds are gone. Now we have the hackers of today, that do it so subtly that it takes having 2k hours to even notice that the survivor is moving 3% faster all the time with no perks to do it, or that they are just slightly further than they should be when you regain LoS around a corner. Or a killer that somehow always knows where you are despite having no aura or information perks.
I can promise you, you don’t have a cheater every single game. Auto DH is not a common thing. DH is not hard to hit.

The few times I stream, I do not have TTV in my name but putting TTV in your name will always put a target on your back. This is a risk you take if you want to advertise your stream to your opponent.
100%. It’s usually not as bad. I don’t mind being tunneled as I’m pretty skilled in chase so it’s not a big deal. Was just curious. I mainly stream killer so I don’t have to deal with it much till after the match.

Eh, I end up feeling guilty. It's hard for me not to go 'well, that must have been awful from the other side'.
In all seriousness I will let the best looper go, when there’s a DC.
-
No mercy. Kill all of them, bottle the salty tears. ❤️
-
How would this encourage getting away from a 3 gen? So now you have to wait half the time for all the survivors to die? Lmao

I don't have too many problems with him, compared to Nurse, PH, Oni and the other heavy hitters. I actually wouldn't mind facing him if it wasn't every game, but wow is it getting tedious.
I enjoy going against him. But as you said, just gets old when it’s constant. I had him 4 games in a row last night before getting a break.

Mine's officially this one.
were you playing survivor last night? I think I played you on RPD last night as Blight.

I’ve had a lot of wesker lately as well. He’s a strong killer for sure.

Blight is certainly strong enough and that's kinda what I mean. Survivor would need to accept that every killer would need to come to blight level wich isn't even possible since what makes blight good is his speed but trapper or pig or hag won't suddenly start speeding
I agree. I’ve been doing a blight win streak on my stream the last couple days. I’ll take a break to play a game of ghostie, pig, trapper, etc. and it is soooo much harder to pull off more than a 2k. Gens seem to fly.

*laughs in blight*

>for some reason
They have same archive about getting hit being in snowman. Done mine occasionally too.
I know that. But I figured mostly they’d be done by now.
-
I’ve probably done it 20 times lol. Survivors hop in snowmen in the middle of chase all the time for some reason.
-
This is why as soon as we spawn in, we identify 3 gen areas and break them up asap. We don’t allow 3 gens to happen.
-
Dead hard is fine. If you time it right, you can still beat them at the pallet. I still use the flick up method to bait it, and it works. Most of the time, they try to spin me and DH at the same time, never works. As a blight main, I just take the extra bump to bait it, as you said.
Dead Hard really isn’t an issue anymore. If they pull off against me, fair enough. Most of the time, they don’t.

Personally no, I use perks I find fun or I think will help me win. I used to run off meta or weaker perks and played nice in matches but after a while I realized all I got for being nice as a killer was tea bags at the exit gates and "gg ez baby killer" After all that I decided if survivors aren't going to play nice then I'm not either. So I run what ever I believe will help me win and try my best in every match to get as many kills as possible. This community doesn't care if opposite side is having fun so why should I?
This. Then those same survivors turn around and complain about a killer that they turned try hard. Lol

The heck do survivor players have to do with this?
Anyway, IF you were fully in the snowman, you did not lose a health state... until about five seconds later when the killer turns around and hits you again, because you got no distance and the killer only had to wait for their weapon wipe to be done. Not a third health state a la Dead Hard, but much more like a protection hit if you were standing still when the teammate was hit.
Add on to that the fact that you need a pretty noticeable head start to be fully in the snowman before the killer could hit you, and the things were damn near useless in chase.
You just said, “you did not lose a health state”. You take a hit from the killer, and do not lose a heath state. Sounds pretty free to me. I rest my case. 😂😂
-
I’m gonna have to say Blight takes that cake. He has tons of counterplay to his power if done right, and is extremely punishing if you make a mistake. And out of all the killers, blight has a near endless skill ceiling. I’ve got 1,000 hours in blight and there are still things I learn here and there. New techs and trick spots. Blight is by far the most fun killer to play as and against. It’s crazy how many survivors don’t know how to loop blight. Guess cause there are not many super skilled blights runnin around.

As someone who does actually play both sides 50-50 I experience more toxicity from survivors than I see from Killers even after taking the 4 to 1 ratio into account. The only way you could say that Killers are more toxic is if you're completely unacquainted with playing Killer.
Agreed. I play majority killer, but survivors are most definitely more toxic in regards to BMing. Post game chat is often filled with slurs and insults from survivors in my killer games. Most of my survivor games, the killer just says GG.

I'm not trying to skirt around anything, they just weren't a free health state.
You could be hit while entering the snowmen, and you got extremely little distance after being hit out of one due to a lack of a speed boost. Even less distance if the snowman was struck from the front. I played during that event, and I remember that this was all overblown overreaction at the time, too.
It's been a year. It's time to let it go.
Its not a free health state….? If you were in the snowman…. And you got hit… DID YOU, OR DID YOU NOT, lose a health state? You are most definitely skirting.
Nothing to let go Lmaoo, I could care less about the snowman. I play the game the same way regardless and survivors will stay mad.
Good day

gonna be a no from me dawg. There are many other chapters I’d like to see before an “among us” chapter. 😂

Myers couldn't stalk through them but was otherwise unaffected, he'd just smack them. Trickster laceration may be reset, but his knives also broke the snowmen entirely iirc so he was actually one of the better killers to play if you wanted to completely ignore them.
Even if it were four, more than four killers completely invalidated the snowmen entirely. Even if we were to assume the snowmen actually functioned as a third health state (as opposed to what they were, a highly situational and marginally useful protection hit), the amount of killers that completely circumvented them would've made them a mild annoyance at best. A three or four, not a ten.
They weren't actually a problem last year, people overreacted. Still, for the record, this year is better, since there were edge cases that prevented the snowmen from their intended purpose.
Why are you trying to skirt around the fact that they were a free health state? They were more than a mild annoyance. It was basically another dead hard to extend the chase if there was a snowman near a loop.
-
instadrop guards at loops vs drawing lines. Works much better. You can also make an insta pallet break guard build that works really well.
-
Shadowborn on blight. Crazy Blight came with only 3 perk slots…. ;)
-
Yeaaaaa you’re a little wrong there buddy. You must be in low ranked games. Every game I play, I see nothing but Dead Hard, Adrenaline, resilience, prove thyself, Unbreakable, and CoH. Every now and then I’ll see some unique builds. But it’s mostly always the same. I’m not complaining, I don’t care what perks I face. But you saying the killer meta hasn’t changed while survivor has is extremely hypocritical.
Even myself… my build 99% of the time is DH (literally does not leave my kit), windows, adrenaline, and resilience. The same applies to my entire SWF.

As a Sadako main, I commit to every chase and still get downs quick, I never slug specifically while using the Condemned playstyle because I think it's more fun and challenging.
Condemned is not a boring strat, you're just playing against boring Sadakos.
i agree. I don’t mind sadako at all. The slugging part is extremely boring.

Tebagging at the gates.
Head-On stuns (especially when coordinated)
Flashlight blinds.
Refusing to leave/go through the hatch.
Bodyblock swarms.
Now you might say "Well, that is all part of the game!" to which I will reply "I agree", but that doesn't make them FUN.
Sadako's mori playstyle, camping, tunneling, and slugging are also all part of the game. But for some reason those are human rights violations and anything a Survivor does is "just get over it, bro".
None of those really bother me when I’m playing killer. 🤷🏻♂️ Then again I do main blight and am on a win streak right now. 🥸 I usually make survivors mad rather than vice versa.

@WesCravenFan said:
Survivors: "Camping and tunneling is boring. What happened to killers that chase?"
Also Survivors: "OMG this game is so long, why won't he just hook us?"
Pick a lane, dude. You finally have a strat that doesn't send you to oblivion in the first 30 seconds, doesn't camp you, and doesn't go AFK.
Some people are never happy.
Lol you’re taking it way too serious. I play killer 85% of the time. I’m just pointing out that I did not enjoy going against the slugging onryo play style. Let me add, WITH teammates that could not loop for their life. I love playing against blights and nurses. I don’t even mind tunneling or camping. But a slugging onryo is absolutely boring. I’m not mad or upset lol.. it was just a boring game. 😂

Yesss same here😂

Yea well this is not the way Im playing Sadako. I am playing her regulary for hooks, with spooky builds XD.
This was the first time I’ve played a sadako using this method. They didn’t hook at all. Just slugged, kicked gens with CoB, then teleported over and over. It was not a fun game. 😂

And you can only extend chases so long when the game is taking 5ever. The type of player to do the Onryo condemned strat is also going to do the gen kick bot routine and not commit to anyone who is competent in chase.
This is exactly what they did. Game lasted way too long for the resources available. Eventually I ran out of stuff to use.

You’re stretching for it now. 😂 there’s literally a front page post of survivors complaining about no way out.

Bro goes from flashlights and booms to “subtle cheaters.” You’re playing huntress.. she is slow as all hell. Cheaters are soooo uncommon. I haven’t had one in forever.

Yea I feel that. I stream every night and I get some pretty hateful people come in if I beat them.
-
Nahhh. There would be far too much lobby dodging. And SWF’s would NEVER find games. What killer would purposely opt to play a 3-4 man SWF?
-
Blight…
blight..
and uh, blight again. Reason being, spicy flicks and techs. And the best part of all, SURVIVORS CANT JUST HOLD W. You have to be skilled to loop blight and I love it.
-
It’s both sides buddy. Survivor SWF’s were full blast last night.
-
The killer spent the whole match with 3 perks and still killed 3 of you. You still have a shot at the hatch.
-
@Audiophile said:
And for the 1000th time: IT IS NOT BOTH SIDES. 4 man swfs are 5% of matches. You can’t compare killers dealing with 4 man swfs 5% of the time to solo survivors dealing with this stuff most of the time.
And to clarify “most of the time”: I’d say 80% of games have bad matchmaking, 30% have very strong or OP killers (Nurse, Blight, Spirit), 50% have the killer running a very strong or OP build (midwich + auras + stealth, or any strong killer running their ultra strong build like rusty shackles hag, tombstone piece Meyers, etc) and minimum 50% involve excessive camping/tunnelling. So almost every game I play has one of these things going on… I’d say roughly 90% of my games are pretty much ass because of one or more of the above.
yeaaaa no. I’m sorry, but y’all are not going against good blights, nurses, and spirits ALL the time. A really good blight or nurse is far and few. I’ve got a 1000 hours on blight, and 90% of my matches have atleast a 2 man SWF, mostly 3. SWF is much more common than a GOOD blight or nurse. Majority of y’all would get absolutely bullied if you tried them. 😂
-
This has to be a satirical post. There is absolutely no shot you’re serious.
-
What if I have to leave the game because my son wakes up? Or there’s a medical emergency? Or my internet cuts out? I deserve to be perma banned for that? What a joke lol.
-
I land 90% of my DH’s by forcing an m1 through a pallet. The DH is fine.
-
ehhhh you’re pushing it. You can’t compare wesker’s power to nemesis.
-
I’ve had nothing but try hard gen rush survivors all day. Lots of eryie and cold wind offerings with BNP’s.
-
I smell an entitled survivor main.
-
Yea this one does not look like a DBD forum anymore. Not a fan.
-
I literally tried to say “y’all played very well” and it censored it for whatever reason. I wish they’d leave it up to if I want chat censored or not. There should not be a forced censorship. Especially one this bad.
-
Nah, not a fan at all. I loved the old forum look.
