Nostalgic it would be, it was broken as F. I’m solid. It would be a cool event though.
-
I don’t think it’ll change anything. The main problem with solo q isn’t information.
Granted, solo q is not always bad. I’ve gotten some really solid teams. But the main issue with solo q is the the disparity of teammates you can get. You get the teams that don’t touch gens despite you being in chase, icons will not fix this. The locker hoppers, icons will not fix this. The corner map self care’ers, icons will not fix this. The “gets grabbed off hook trying to unhook in front of the killer”, icons will not fix this. ETC ETC.
The fix to solo q I believe would be more accurate and defined MMR. Games should feel like a challenge, not a slaughter. I’ve got more hours than I care to admit, but I’ll sometimes get paired with survivors with a mere fraction and it shows.
-
I’ve never experienced these thing playing as killer. I typically always have good ping. But on survivor, man it makes you feel robbed at times. Getting hit over pallets you dropped seconds prior… or my personal fav of spinning the killer and he lunges past you but then you get hit while standing behind him. 😂😂
-
This post makes no sense lol. You had to have been hit twice, or he waited your BT. There is no perk or adding that disputes BT.
My advice, don’t try and take a hit for the unhooker. It’s a sure fire way of getting tunneled.
-
So those perks are killer specific. To use them, you either have to luckily get them in the shrine, or prestige the killer in which they belong to.
lethal pursuer - nemesis
bbq - leather face (cannibal)
nowhere to hide and face the darkness - knight
nemesis - oni
spirit fury - spirit

I personally know people who enjoy destroying SWF’s, so no…I’m not in denial.
But thank you for trying to tell me how I feel.
I don’t mind playing swfs sometimes, and I think other killers may feel the same..I don’t enjoy playing them back to back to back…I think it would be more fair to have the option to choose and to know.
I didn’t say how you’re feeling. I’m saying you’re in denial. And as I already said… yes, I’m sure some killers would take SWF’s on. But the overwhelming majority would dodge every SWF lobby if they had a choice.
Next topic please and have a good night.

I do however think we should be allowed to see who was a swf in post game lobby so we can at least correctly gauge how well we should have done.
This would be cool
-
* Get up close and personal on survivors before throwing the hatchets. *
Don’t try and trace a zig zagging survivor, hold your crosshair still and throw when they cross it.
My favorite addon combo is double hatchet throw cooldown.
Perks, I usually run all aura with one regression park.
Map - she can perform well on many maps honestly.

I disagree. I would still accept mag he’s against swfs..when I feel like it. Not back to back to back.
And playing against solo’s is not a guaranteed win. I’ve definitely faced solo survs that played so well together, you would think they were a SWF.
You can disagree, but you’re in denial. Sure, some people would accept SWF, but it can pretty much be called FACT that MOST killers would never accept SWF matches. Your suggestion would break the game entirely.
-
What killer is going to opt to go against a SWF? I’m sorry but it’s just a bad idea. SWF would absolutely never get matches. Lots of players like easy games, so most killers would just decline. Hell, most killers will still dodge NOW if they even remotely suspect a SWF.

i agree. as a nurse/blight/oni main im probably biased about dh lol
DH is extremely easy to deal with on blight. Just bait it and use another rush.
-
I wanna say 10 hooks and a 3k is pip. But don’t quote me on that. I just play sweaty as all hell iri 4-1 and I get it pretty quickly. I use nothing but strong builds for those last ranks.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up man.

I also have a same situation where nearly a week ago all the generators popped after hooking a single person, I should still have the video clip but I am not aware what made it happen or who
Yea I wouldn’t have known until the Meg said that, and the other survivors called her out.

Sadly true. I don't know how that could be addressed.
me neither man. I don’t pretend to know the job being a dev entails and how to handle stuff like that. I just play the game. 😂

Good. Some people here don't believe that reporting cheaters does anything, but BHVR takes it pretty seriously based on my experience. I reported a cheater with video evidence once and they were banned in a matter of about 3 days.
I believe it results in a ban, the issue is the cheater will just make or buy another account.
-
Some games, teams absolutely fly through the gens. But majority of the time not really. Many of my games are won at 2-3 gens left. Pain res is my only regression perk, and I do not kick gens.
-
@JohnnyB87 said:
Cheating is horrendous in this game anymore. And they don't even hide it cause behaviour doesn't do anything about their "ban" offenses. Literally nothing. The game is quickly going down the gutter due to consistent l0sers using hacks and the fact that players are just the most toxic ever on both sides....no one plays the game for BPs, like it's meant to be played, they either, as a survivor, have to gen rush and leave....boring...or, as a killer, camp and tunnel players out of game....also completely boring and pointless cause you don't even need 1 kill to get max points.
on a side note, all those saying that there isn't cheaters in the game, I can guarantee are probably also cheating LOL
I just wanted some BP’s man… I even brought a bloody party streamer for everybody. 😂 That went to waste.

How is show offing with your streaks here is related to the point of the post?
The fact this game is easily winnable with the easiest brain dead tactics doesn't go against the fact that you can also win without them.
The point is me and many other people can win just fine without 4 slowdown perks paired with hard tunneling and camping. You told me try the streak with other killers other than blight, and I have, with many.
There are a tons of people that do not need any of these tactics to win.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
I don't believe them
If you hadn't slugged, I guarantee they'd have found a different thing you did that was illegal and "punished" you for it
Basically unless they were able to just bully the hell out of you, they'd have found a reason why you deserved to be punished
Maybe lol. I mean this happened within 1-2 minutes of the game starting. It was quick.

I'm also a blight main, and some blight or nurse mains tunnel from 5 gens even with 3 -4 regression perks. try to get that win streak with another killer that is not blight/nurse/spirit.
Sure, some do. But I literally never see blights running slowdown. Maybe 1 at most. I’ve done my entire streak with no more than pain res and DMS. Some games I ran no slowdown at all.
I still never camped. I rarely tunneled. Many of the games would have been easier if I did, but I didn’t have to, because I have the skill on blight to do that.
I’ve done 50 win - streaks on oni, nemesis, and wesker. I think I got like 30 with huntress awhile back.
-
@Akumakaji said:
Looool. I somewhat hope that you didn't make that up and it really happened.
Don't get me wrong, cheating is always scummy after, but this is at least a humorous way to do so and is fast abs but dragging the game on or holding you hostage with a never ending EGC.
it did indeed happen just like that, and that was a direct quote from the Meg. Lmao. It made me giggle. I am ATLEAST grateful that they didn’t drag the game on like I use to experience multiple times a day before the update.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I actually smiled and laughed at the "no slugging allowed" lmao
On a serious note though... please tell me you recorded and reported.
I did record. Gonna submit a ticket in the morning with the clips.
-
I mean… I hit 75 in my blight win streak tonight with some tunneling when needed and zero camping… speak for ya-self!
-
Sorry but some games with friends does not deduce what you think it does… There are many more things to take into account.
I had a game the other day, 4 brand new parts, hyperfocus stakeout builds on all of them, and they only got me down to 3 gens.
I had another game against a team with normal builds. Maybe 1 or 2 proves, and they got to the end game much better than the genrush squad.
Both games, my gen perks were pain res and DMS.
It’s all about who you are facing, not as much what they bring.
-
Weird, I played about 7-8 games of solo during lunch time and it was a 4 man escape all but 2 which were 3 man outs. The teams I was getting were all very competent.

I think the issue is that it's hard to learn Blights counter play without outside influence and most survivors won't put in the effort for it even if they are struggling against blight a lot. At the very least everyone should know not to shift w but if they want to learn more than that they would have to get tips from friends, watch Lilith or even play blight themselves. I truly wish more survivors knew how to play vs blight well, I have only run into 5 survivors ever who I would consider amazing playing against blight. It disappoints me running into 2-5k hour players who just shift w and pre throw, when the two best players have had under 2k hours. Although hours are a little over rated in this games populace.
Exactly. I learned and got into blight by watching lilith. Then it just took off, learning just how high blight’s skill ceiling is. Thus also learning how to counter him. I absolutely love playing against blight, and I appreciate when I run into the few survivors who know how to effectively loop me. Makes the chases interesting.

Send your ghost so that they start their patrol path where you expect them to be in a few seconds. Then make sure you don't just follow the same path your ghost will be taking, try to approach survivors a bit more from the side. Knight is at his best when you can sandwich survivors between yourself and your ghost.
This never works. It is beyond easy to just hold W in the opposite direction of the guard. Insta dropping the guard is really the only viable way to play him.
-
@HugTheHag said:
I think for Blight a significant part of "any decent Blight is a 4k" comes from the fact that there are so few Blights in low and early mid mmr. I think I've only ever seen 5 of them. For contrast, I've seen 4 Hags and 5 Twins. In 200h of playing survivor (not much I know, but I did specify which brackets I was talking about).
So there's not a lot of time to learn to play against them until you're against really good ones
For Nurse, there are some very harsh builds possible on her. But otherwise, she's actually really fun to chase against, regardless of the result. She's possible to chase, it's just very different from looping other killers.
I think this is probably accurate. I’ll go against survivors who are otherwise amazing, but they make really dumb moves against me as blight, such as trying to just hold W, or standing still at the end of the truck pallet while I’m setting up a moonrush. 🤣
-
Lmao this is satire right? You say this as if every group of friends is an amazing group. Majority of them are just average players having fun.
-
On the contrary, a good nurse and blight aren’t common. Many people try them once, get bullied, and never use them again.
-
I’ve got 1k hours in blight and I will admit that I do not run into many survivors that can’t loop blight well or know his counterplay. Most games are ended at 2-4 gens left. To try and even it out, I’ll run only shadowborn and BBQ.
The issue isn’t blight, as he has a lot of counterplay, but rather it’s that survivors won’t learn his counterplay. You cannot just hold W or loop him like normal on most tiles.
Now a good nurse… yea it’s prolly ggs 90% of the time. 🫡
-
No, that would inconvenience me tunneling out survivors after 5 gens. 3 seconds doesn’t stop me for too long.
-
That is not taking the game hostage.
-

I remember back then when killer able to down everyone and hook them all, you have to wait for half a min for other survivor to be sacrificed first because Entity can only consume 1 survivor per time.
Its funny that Entity stabbed you can your camera just locked there, hearing 2-3 sacrificing circles before Entity brings you up.
Yesss I remember this.
-
You can get a couple meta survivor builds off free survivors. And it does not take long at all to grind characters. Especially now with the cheap BW and bonuses.
-
Same as pulsar. Not having any trouble using any killer.
-
I think that would be a pretty cool add.

Literally every map has an impossible 3gen to repair as surv if killer decides to defende by any means, but ok
Ehhh. That’s why you prioritize middle gens. It’s not hard.

I literally just 4k'd with TS Myers back to back right now.
✨ low mmr ✨
You will not get 4 mori’s with TS myers in mid -higher mmr.
I tanked my myers MMR and got it first game.
-
Only every second game? I get cob erupt every game. 😂 But yea, survivor has been pretty unenjoyable as of late. Good thing I’m a killer main at heart..
A solution my SWF uses is purposely dying every match.. eventually you’ll start getting killers who don’t run cob / overcharge. It’s a nice break.

Because internet, and the fact that this game is virtually unmoderated unless you're using slurs, and the devs have an...interesting concept of toxicity.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SOZI8MIOBMFA/toxic-mandy-jpg.jpg
For instance, last night we had a really obnoxious game against a Ghostface who hard camped from the first down and basically just accumulated slugs, letting them bleed out.
The really annoying thing - 3 people had brought flans and 1 had brought streamers. The sort of game where I, as killer, would probably go 'okay, let's try to make sure that everyone gets some BP once I control the game'.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/X3M1L3YCT48Z/20221222164506-1.jpg
People don't enjoy this sort of thing and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of incoming players ran right into the wall of general nastiness this community often represents, and just quit.
Ugh we had a game last night like that. We all brought streamers, trying to capitalize on blood rush and the survivor bonus. Killer brought a survivor pudding. He continued to facecamp and slug. Needless to say we did not get to capitalize and the messages were similar to your SC above. :,)

My bad. Sometimes reading things online comes across as a detraction rather than an add on
I understand how it may have come off, I apologize. I was just adding in! The myers achievement was absolutely mind numbing. I got down to the last person many many times and they would just sit in locker. I would pull them and take them corner map, they’d wiggle and just run right back into locker. Good times…
