I'll never play yun jin. Her character backstory is unappealing, she makes so much noise and i hate her perks.
My faves are david, kate denson, michaela reed, steve and jonah.

Does the void energy carry over? i doubt it does just wondering
I believe the halloween event thing mentions that any void energy carried when the game ends, (only on survival for survs) gets converted into rift energy. If you die it is lost.

Do you understand that you're adding this feature for ALL survivors? How many solos/randoms do communicate via Discord?
It's as if you're suggesting that 4 random soloq players send a discord link in-game chat and talk. And adding in-game HUD indicators is just replacing Discord, except it's not.
VC won't suddenly turn solo q players into hardcore seal team 6s. A large portion of solo q players probably wouldn't even utilise it. But in games where it is used it would help mitigate the dreadful lack of coordination in soloq games , like prevent people getting left on hook or all 3 standing players swarming a hook when the killer is face camping or 3 seconds after the surv has been hooked.
I play a fair bit of solo q and it's a very punishing experience, unpleasantly so. Because players just do amazingly stupid things. Been left on hook to time out because one player is doing gens and the other two are sat self caring tor god knows how long. Being able to say on mic "hey killer is away unhook me, then i can heal you, it's way quicker" would make a big difference.
The main thing that messes killers up is being led on extremely long chases, which won't change with universal VC, it requires an extreme amount of personal skill to run the killer like that. bodyblocking and favourite tactics of sweaty swfs are hard to pull off without a lot of practice, soloq players will struggle to employ those kinds of tactics even with vc.
I'd like to see it introduced and then maybe buff killers after IF it seems like they need it. But i doubt it, it won't turns 4ks into 0ks. More like trigger a few 2-3ks which is no bad thing. Because 4ks are the norm in soloq atm. And constantly 4ks are not a lot of fun. Hence why survivor queue has 100% bp bonus 95% of the time.

I don't see it very pften but I'm on xbox so i can't see endgame chat or msg most other players. I recieve the odd one every now and then. And i usually send them out when i see another xbox player. Unless the player was toxic or I got lazy and tunneled someone, feels like rubbing salt in to gg someone after tenneling them out early.
-
I unless you orchestrated the survivor's death to snag their item then no it's fine. If i dropped an item, particularly a rare one I'd prefer someone gets it out so it isn't lost to the fog. Me and my swf team mates usually say where our rare stuff dropped when we die.
-
I play both. Probably survivor a bit more as I'll usually do surv when my friends are on.
-
Because many of the players on this game are toxic little ######### goblins. I suppose it can also be a reaction to the frustration. Survs will usually cry about the killer's tactics if they are effective(I know I do, 🤣 just only in party chat to my swf mates, I won't generally message people to moan unless they DC or cheat) because people don't like to lose. And most express that by sending snarky messages if they do manage to escape.

Holly is indeed my kitty. She gets posted in threads with BP codes in them and every so often in the Cute and Cuddly thread that you can find in the off topic section of the forum.
She is also incredibly adorable.

She is beautiful. 😍 And i feel the need to respond with one of my beautiful doggo, Merry.

@tippy2k2 said:
So I can pretend to be like Holly and get the random zoomies every once in a while.
For a real answer, I actually never ended up using it. As killer, I'd always forget about it and accidentally zoomie instead of using my power like I meant to. For survivor, I like having my medkits more than the brief speed burst.
I'm going to assume Holly is your pet cat/dog?

Havent prestiged trapper yet, went with thano instead
Ah fair dos. Or maybe eruption if you've prestiged nemisis? That'd be an amazing perk for the build.
-
I mean I'm not tunneling in my killer games. Better to get downs on multiple survivors and steal all their delicious void points lol. But yh i have seen a fair few more killers tunneling while playing surv.
-
Surprised you're using 3rd seal, doesn't fit the build. I'd run unnerving presence personally.
-
Definitely agree with OP on both counts. Love the look of the outfit, i dislike the hag's usual aesthetic, swamp creature is a very fun concept. But yh the face should definitely be animated.
-
Interesting idea, would be good for quickfire games and short queue times. And an awesome way to improve at chases for both sides.

This could be so fun. No perks or add-ons and a new map made specifically with this game mode in mind. Because I think a lot of survivor's would just pre throw for the entire duration instead of actually expressing skill if they just threw us on coal tower.
Maybe if dropping pallets increases the time limit.
-
Yh I'll usually let survs do glyphs or cleanse totems before I knock them lol.

Toy Sword, Stale Biscuit & Madeleine´s Scarf nerf were strange but the Switch from Victor to Charlotte and the attack cooldown are making Twins not worth playing.
You´re suffering 8s of doing literally nothing if you decide to swap after downing someone.
They´re still worth to play, once.
I enjoy playing them but they definitely did not need nerfing. They're hard enough to play as is
-
These are hysterical 🤣
-
What did they do to twins? Seems weird to nerf them since they are already hardly used and pretty weak.
-
I hate my swf teammates throw me under the bus one game. Hid in a locker when the oni came up to check killer shack gen. One teammate pointed at my locker and he took her prompt and pulled me straight out and onto a hook.
Tunneled me onto second hook, soent the rest of the game carefully avoiding everyone. And after we finished gens, while i was holding exit lever, one of my other mates pointed him at me again, and he knocked me just as the 3rd light came on. Sacrificed me and let the rest escape, safe to say i had some choice words for my mates lol.
-
It is a great rift. Michael's cards are very cool and loving the extra blood points. Also the missing maurice milk carton is funny as hell.
-
Funny because i have zero issues revealing him, have to adjust my camera sometimes. But I'm usually able to do it even under pressure.

The best example is Legion. In their main lore they were kids who wanted to terrorize Ormond not by killing, but by making chaos. They stole ,,Stop" signs, wrecked some stores and robbed some places. Never intending to hurt anyone. Then they kill a Janitor, but its becouse Frank made them do it. Also he was saving Julie. But in one of Suzie's cosmetic we learn that she STABBED a random seller to steal a Jacket.
What is the point of making a lore for lost kids manipulated by ,,Older cooler kid" into killing one person into making a lore about generic 4 man swf with knifes. Doesn't make sense at all
Firstly I think BVHR have said that cosmetic descriptions are not cannon. And the description doesn't say that she killed him, stabbed him sure, but only specifies he was left cold and bleeding. Bleeding implies he's alive but injured, and as a hesitant teenager i doubt she'd manage a fatal stab in a single blow. Just a mugging assault, part of that slippery slope that leads her to be a viable candidate for the entities corruption into a full blown killer.
-
Just salty tryhards throwing a fit because they couldn't win. I mean you are playing a pretty grubby build but nothing wrong with optimising. Especially since they are also running grubby perks. I mean 4 deadhards on one team? Probably a 4 man swf.
And all with torches as well 🤣 bet they'd have been bagging and clicking. Nice one on bullying the bully squad lol.
-
Wraith is definitely stronger and much easier to use.
-
I can see where OP is coming from, franklins basically rinses your item, because if killer has just hit you the chances of you escaping the killer, and getting back your item without being hooked or taking to long to get there while there are still charges are pretty slim. And that's if killer doesnt double back to the item's aura.
Imo franklins would be more balanced if killer couldn't see the items aura or it didn't lose charges. Could also give the effect a cooldown or trigger condition.

I personally find t-bagging after every minor successful vault and waiting at the exit gates to t-bag pretty annoying, and that's not even tied to a specific survivor ~Meg~ ~Feng~ but its just a part of the game.
Don't forget to not mention Nea

@Gorik said:
I think people miss the point sometimes when it comes to the different survivors. So I hear a lot about how survivors should all have a passive etc, but don't seem to realize they serve a purpose already mainly for Solo Q.
An example being, before built in BT and SWF , if you where trying to unhook a survivor who is being camped, or who the Killer is still close to and you see a Bill appear, then you could more confidently assume he would be running BT and it would be better to let him perform the unhook, and you didn't have to rely on a mic to know the information.
The same with Felix. If you have an item on you that's depleted and a Felix starts pointing at you and bouncing like a lunatic etc, then he might be running Built to Last and is trying to refill your item for you.
I believe that the survivor you use should not just be reduced to something like: Oh I am a Feng main and only play Feng because I like her clothes etc.
Survivors should be treated more like a visual guide as to what your team mates may have that can help you, or influence the trial.
Just as a note, I understand fully how this can be used by Killers as well, for example i still have reservations about slugging a Bill because of Unbreakable, so I tend to hook him, but wasn't that the point of Bill, the man who sacrificed himself so others could escape?
Like this suggestion, survivors are kinda just basically skins atm it would be nice if they all had a unique passive ability or they had to use one of their personal perks at least.
-
Oooh yh the vultures are so annoying, multiple times I've lost time looking around because them ripping chunks off the bodies sounds so similar to a survivor cleansing a totem 😑

honestly it's deserved, ps4 and xbox 1 players, as well as switch players have it rough. I heard it still lags a ton.
It might on the older generation consoles like the ps4 and xbox 1. Common issue across a lot of games nowadays that can be played on both platforms. Also olay a lot of jurassic world evolution 2 and that is on xbox one but is apprently almost unplayable because of lags and constant crashes.

Ah I'm on xbox. Had the original 4, david from tutorial, Nea, Feng, Bill and Ace.

Ace is the most quiet survivor, and he costs shards.
If you wanna blend in as well, buy ace's dark outfits, or use claudette.

Agreed.
I do like a handful of Saw movies but most of the entires in the series just feel like they tried to shove in as much graphic and gratuitous violence as possible instead of actually focusing on the narrative.
Like the plot quickly becomes so convoluted and messy. Felt like they splurged all the budget on blood and guts for SFX lol
Yeah like it could have made an amazing thriller. Story has potential. But shock value sells

They could work it out but not 2 modern for plague mabye. Like 50-60's dress or sumthing
Ooh 1920s flapper dress with a long cigarette holder held along with her weapon in her hand. Her stance would be perfect for that

To be fair the first film wasn't really a gore flick IMO. The sequels definitely amped up the body horror and relied more on shock value though.
Yeah, pretty lazy films tbh. Did enjoy the first one though. Only problem with horror, too easy to fall back on jump scares and gore.
-
It would be considerably less scary to see oni in a 3 piece suit or plague wearing a modern dress. Their period is kinda intrinsic with their look. Although admittedly twins with a leather jacket and jeans would be pretty cool.
-
@Carth said:
No way BHVR would want to be linked to straight up gore flicks. A younger audience/people who are just interested in common horror would not like art the clown and its over the top gore and concepts.
What is Saw if not a straight up gore flick?

The level up could be the prestige catch up. And chat based bans are easy to get, all you need to do is swear or get salty in chat and you'll get slapped with one. Just gotta keep it clean.

You and I are the same. I don’t BM unless it’s constant BM from them. Some games as survivor I will teabag and click at the killer mid game. It’s not out of BM though, but more so trying to get them to commit to chasing me because the team needs time to finish up a gen or get an unhook.
But no matter the team / outcome, I always say ggwp afterwards.
We're a rare breed lol, and yh trying to bait killer to chase you with those is perfectly reasonable. I actually really enjoy letting last surv go, like carrying them to hatch or letting them open exit gate and nodding lol

Same here. As a survivor I don't even bring a flashlight because i don't like the toxic nature they cause so often. Never wait at the exit. I'll run past the teabaggers and escape. Killer feels bad enough with losing believe me.
I'll definitely torch blind, but i never get toxic about it. Playing to the best of your ability is not disrespectful. If i get beasted by a swf team I'll always show respect unless they tbag and torch click. Which they do an awful lot unfortunately.
-
I think there's a thing about skins and their flavour texts not being cannon.
-
Yeah pipping as a survivor in iridescent is hard af. You have to do it all, go for unhooks, loop tf out of killer, spam gens and escape alive. If killer decides to tunnel you or potatoe teammates result in a 4 k you aint getting a pip up. My advice is run swf,, it's the only way to consistently perform well. Solo q is an absolute ######### show
-
They do need to tone down Bill's smoker's cough. When he's injured, legit sounds like he's about to hack up a lung. As killer i catch a lot of bills because of this.
-
@RatbasterdJr said:
Its always been a concept of multiplayer vs gaming. The winning team talks trash / taunts their win at the losing team. Cod, halo, DBD, WoW, literally anything. Some people don’t, a lot do. I also think it’s a cycle.
for example; (A) group of survivors is beat by (A) killer. (A) killer taunts that group of (A) survivors by hitting on hook, nodders, post game chat etc. (A) group of survivors then goes into the next game against (B) killer and beats that killer. That group of survivors, still salty from the last killer will taunt their win at (B) killer. The cycle then goes on and on.
Of course there are always the gamers that never do it either way, but they are the minority.
I like to break this cycle. As surv I won't tbag or torch click, and as killer i won't hit on hook or nod etc. Unless the player in question has been BMing me in which case i definitely will, because i like to see toxic players given a taste of their own medicine. But I'll never do it unprovoked, and as killer I'll pretty much always let 4th survivor go unless I'm sweating a challenge/pips or they were toxic.
-
Yeah taunting you and deliberately DMing you to mock you over him escaping isn't "good clean fun" it's trying to make you feel bad for being bested. Which is pretty sad.

The numbers are just broad approximations for the purpose of explaining the mechanic itself. Like I said, I'm not a game dev, I don't know what the ideal parameters would be.
Yup just suggesting them to refine it. Definitely like the idea.
-
Fun idea. But it would ######### up new players more than anything else and they already have a rough time. Maybe have it happen if the chase goes on for over 30 secs or if the killer gets pallet stunned in the chase.
-
They suck ass. That's it.
