  • But it isn't that hard. Just 99% a gen. Rushed enter/exit a locker a bunch of times then stand next to gen and pop it as soon as you hear heartbeat.

  • @Seraphor said:

No, because this game tends towards snowballing.

If survivors are better than the killer, it's very easy to get 4 escapes or at least 3.

But if the killer is better than it's substantially easier to get a 4K or a 3K.

4K's might be rarer than 3K's due to the hatch mechanic, but 2K games are probably the rarest.

This. Majority of games I play seem one sided. If survs struggle they probably wont power gates. If they gen rush and have a couple good loopers then they get 4 man escapes. As killer i see the odd 2 man escape in my more even games. As surv most of my 2ks seem to come from cheap NOED kills

  • Might be the halloween event. Bloodpoints galore atm. Especially with this 2x event. I got almost 250k in one match last night. 4 party streamers, did my rift and had an amazing game as surv complete with hatch escape at the end.

  • Lol yh his reveal is a bit buggy. The range you can do it at is kinda short, way shorter than his stalk range. Gotta listen for that audio cue. Plus the killer hears it too so they can break LOS to fox you out.

  • Ooooh I LOVE triggering survivors who BM. You teabag or torch click after a pallet drop and I will tunnel you harder than a dwarf looking for precious stones. Even better when I get hatemail after lol. I doove how bully squads tend to stop BM ing me midmatch once I'm putting them under real pressure.

Just a note I am generally an extremely chill killer if you have good manners and just play the game. 9 times out of 10 I'll let last survivor go and if you offer me an item I'll make sure you dont go further than 2 hooks 😁

  • On the whole. Killer sided. I think for high mmr killers and can seem survivor sided. But it's a skill thing. Truly skilled survivors can feel untouchable but one subobtimal survivor on a team will tip the game in killers favour. And that is for SFWs

Soloq is an absolute murder fest. Anyone who says the game is survivor sided is either on very strong hallucinogens. Or solely plays killer and is impressively bad at the game.

I would agree with this item with the stipulation that the other 3 survivors are still alive in the match. People will kill themselves on hook to give the other survivors a chance to find the hatch.

Yes that's a good shout. Me and my swf mates will do that tactically. If first surv suicides it's always a pathetic ragequit before the game has progressed far enough to know who'll win.

It’s been said by the devs that no one should be forced to play, so none of ur ideas are in the realm of possibility. If they suicide on hook then so it is. There are several other ways to maximize ur bp gains anyways.

like most things in this game, this too can be solved by simply moving on the next match.

The next match where someone else will do basically a legit disconnect? It's just such a constant problem and it pretty much always throws the game.

Hell maybe even code to treat obvious hook suicides, i.e. 3 self unhook attempts then not hitting a single skill check, as a diconnect with the same penalties. Nobody that eager to get off hook by trying unhook attempts would then miss all the skill checks on struggle phase. Give them a 5 minute penalty and lock the other survivors from losing pips etc.

Because effectively a player suiciding on hook is pretty much exactly the same as a DC. Just a bit more roundabout.

Eh, I'd struggle to call what Dwight did to be bad, yeah sure he poisoned his boss but A. His boss 100% had it coming, and B. Dwight didn't even know he had poisoned his boss until he started strangling someone

As for David, yeah sure he is defintely a violent guy with a sadism streak, but that doesn't necessarily make him evil, after all, he grew up in Manchester, basically cut all ties with his family, and had to hide the fact he was gay from basically all but 1 person in his life, I'd develop a violent streak too if i was him, and probably most importantly, David never killed anyone, beat people half to death sure, but never kill

Some killers have done less. Like i said i understand him and like him as a character. But he hurts people often very badly because of his personal issues.

Sadly, the community is against ingame VC. With a million reasons against it. I don´t really get it too.

Most called for alternative would be a chat wheel. Which is something i would be ok with.

Yh idk why so many people dislike VC. "Ohhh noo people will be toxic" like dude have you SEEN endgame chat? People are going to be toxic. It's a fact of life on the internet and it's easy to mute people. But denying VC denies the loads of helpful players for being able to do anything for new players.

  • Lol I was flexing my fingers to rant about yun jin. Beat me to it 🤣

If you read into the backstories some of the survivors have dark sides. For example Dwight poisoned his boss, yun jin obviously, several have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.

David king also sticks out, he's a pretty sadistic guy. I've read his tome 11 entries (which are hella feels) and I do love him as a character. But you have to admit, violent debt collecting, bareknuckle boxing. Breaks a fan's finger rather than just humor the dude for a few minutes. He's a pretty nasty guy to anyone but close friends. Entity could've easily morphed him into a killer, hell his backstory reads like it could be a killer's backstory more than some killers 🤣

  • I dont have too much trouble with them. Hell I got twins adept in 3 games.

Just gotta find one of those chill games where you are clubbing a solo q team and just control the game. Mess about, actively avoid tunneling and camping hook to get max hook stages.

Even on high mmr you get thrown a bone every so often

  • It is getting irritating. As killer I'm seeing so many survs suicide on hook. It decreases my points on a good game denying me BP across the board since you should be interacting with 4 survivors not 3 and several times it has handed me a win I should not have had. Which makes me feel bad for the other survs in the game and tbh gets kinda no boring. No challenge ruining 3 players with 4/5 gens left. Also really sucks when myltiple players decide to do it. Had 3 survs hook suicide in one game before. I let the other go

As survivor it obviously annoys me because it practically throws every game it happens in.

Imo killer should get fully bp for survivors who progress hook stages by attempting unhooks and missing skill checks on struggle phase. Don't want to encourage facecamping of course.

make it harder to suicide. As a killer I'd be absolutely down for attempting to free yourself from hook to not take chunks out of a survivors hook progress. You get 3 attempts to koby yourself then you have to wait for sturggle phase. Would make the game a little more interesting tbf if survivors got the odd self unhook without running deliverance. And makes salty lips and luck builds actually viable, because currently they are a bad idea. They don't increase your chance of unhooking enough to be worth risking progressing a hook stage.

Perhaps reinstate it if there is only 1 surv alive after the hooked surv to allow tactical suicide to spawn hatch.

  • Because we console players don't have a mouse for twitch aiming. Or I could be really cynical and say it's much easier to havk the game on PC and they might just have way more cheaters lol.

See my post above. A proper Bot mode, which lets the players adjust everything would greatly help new players. A killer could learn how to play a new killer, use his power, test the addons, etc. In a bot mode mode where the survivor bots are as skilled/unskilled as he wants them to be.

Same for survivors. Decide what killer bot they want to face, with the full loadout and how the ai performs. While also having the possibility to play with friends and bots against the bot killer.

This would give a better start for new players. Since they could learn the game in a save environment.

Definitely a great suggestion. Even tutorials on looping, avoiding 3 gens, chase advice. All would help massively. I'd also go with VC should be available in game.

It's so unusual to see a multiplayer game with no voice chat. Like what are all survivors canonically mute in the entity's realm? Pretty sure they aren't. And it would allow more experienced players to educate newer ones and provide some sorely needed co ordination to solo q teams

  • Idk who that is. Only been on the forum a month or so

  • Lol i find this extra ironic because when I'm playing hunk leagion his pov drops so low it feels like he's roady running like a gears of war character 🤣

    I disagree here.

DBD should be balanced around competitive players and make Killers stronger

    DBD should fix solo Q

DBD Should give back Ranking system

DBD Should give BUFFS to survivors in lower MMR, such as "From bronze to Gold, they have 1 or 2 more perks" or something similar, im sure it can be think of to be fair. That way it is going to be fun for everyone

Low mmr players usually die to killers without PERKS, without addons, playing C tier killers and so on. If they balance the game around these players, i don't see how high mmr can have fun for both survivors and killers

This i can agree with. Solo q is madly killer sided. If they improved the solo q experience then they could make tweaks to even out swf games.

I really play all to be honest, depends what i feel like to go, but the most games i have with Clown and Nurse. Clown is especially fun to me because you can end chases very quick most of the time

Clown is an excellent killer just being able to slow survs in an open chase is so good. Nurse I absolutely hate playing because i can't hit blinks, but players who are good with her are practically unbeatable. With clown i love running regression perks and hunting perks like bbq and spies.

My go to when i want instant wins are spirit and doctor. Spirit is so good at ambushing gens to disrupt progress and ending chases quick. Doctor's base power is mad good at slowdown and reveals survivors easily, all you need to do is be competent at chase and his abilities do the rest. love stacking overcharge and oppression. And his addons are nuts. The red stain one acts like a spot light, Fake pallets are so good for messing up surv's chases, and illusory doctors help you find survivors. His shock therapy is amazing for anti loop, little bit of anticipation and you can stop survs dropping pallets during chase.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3243953#Comment_3243953

But why? You all state that it would make the game less appealing for new players. But you don´t explain why.

Balancing around top players makes sense, because even a potatoe player will eventually get better. While good players can´t beat the balancing thats set up around bad players.

Imagine for a second, that the 15% higher escape rate of SWF would instead be a 15% higher kill rate of a killer. So instead of 60% of the top killer, he´d have a 75% kill rate. There would be a massive outcry of the community. Demanding (rightfully) the immediate nerf of said killer. But for SWF thats ok. Sounds weird, doesn´t it?

Ok let me explain why. At lower mmrs killers absolutely rinse survivors. A new player trying to play solo q survivor is unlikely to survive many games at all. Hell as a competent player my solo q survival rate is dirt poor. The balancing requires survivors to make advanced plays and co ordinated tactics to have a chance of escaping against even a fairly basic killer player. Unless you hide all game and play for hatch.

My first few games as killer were absolute slaughter fests. I downloaded the game, loaded up demogorgon and proceeded to 4k with it. Second game Loaded up trapper, 3k because I forcibly slugged a player to death and allowed one to escape because i thought a bleed out would finish my daily ritual that required me to kill a survivor by my own hand. And the 4ks just kept rolling in.

It took about a week of whitewash games like this for me to come up against a decent team of survivors who actually knew how to play the game effectively. And they effectively prevented me doing anything, proper bully squad. A player with about 20 hours of playtime ended up playing against a squad with an average of 720 hours playtime.

My early survivor games on the other hand were the opposite end pf the spectrum. I died in perhaps 85% of the games I played for my first 100 hours. Not a pleasant experience. And I hit my gaming hard, I'd been devouring the dbd wiki and watching streams to learn the mechanics.

The balance from my perspective playing surv and killer pretty evenly, is that if survs know exactly what to do, they will put up a good fight. But one weak member on a team or one DC and the game quickly falls apart for them. And if the killer plays sweaty tactics like tunneling and face camping they can remove a surv from the eqation and mess up the game for survs pretty quick.

I currently have 12 days play time. And in the majority of my killer matches I absolutely destroy. It's got to the point where i make a point of letting last survivor go because constant 4ks just get boring. And it's not seal clubbing like my first week. Im up against survivors with almosy 10 times the play time i have and I'm still killing them with a little effort. If i properly sweat like when I'm grinding pips and run an effective killer with sweaty add ons and a favourable map offering, i practically never lose.

I have to deliberately run weaker killers and perks just for fun. More enjoyable challenging games. Killers individually can decide tonplaybtactics that have no effective counter. Look at killer streamers with 30+ game winstreaks like Dr.eggman. Anyone who says this game is survivor sided either has wicked high mmr and struggles or is god awful at playing killer and wants to blame it on game balance.

  • He can damage survivors through walls on high wall pallet loops. He's fine.

Sure, though wasn't specifically calling you out there btw

Honestly, if someone tunnels and camps as Nurse I really think whatever you do to deny them kills is totally fair. The more annoying the better lol

"Oh and hiding so your team mates take all aggro is not a very nice or useful way to play either in my opinion"

Sorry figured that was directed at me

  • @MaTtRoSiTy said:

Stealth is one of the counters to Nurse, pre-leaving gens early and hiding is particularly annoying for Nurse as her base movement speed is so slow she cannot waste much time searching for immersed survivors. But be warned, this will likely irritate a skilled Nurse and some will punish this playstyle with unfun tactics...

Oh and hiding so your team mates take all aggro is not a very nice or useful way to play either in my opinion

Lots of people seem to be missing the part that i didn't start locker hopping until there were two dead. I just happened to be working on a gen for the first minute or two when we realised that the nurse was hookcamping and tunneling hard. My friend wanted me to stay away because nurse was facecamping and unhooking wouldn't achieve anything. She even cussed put the two randoms as idiots in our party chat because they were unhooking her under nurses nose lol.

Nurse had a whale of a time getting 7 hooks in a matter of minutes by tunneling and hanging arpund the hook from the start of the game. Then spent 5-10 minutes looking for the last 2 survivors with 3 gens left.

  • Ah yes. People who play smart to survive when the game is crashing and burning obviously ruin the game. I'm sure i ruin the game more than people who ragequit and those get toxic and abusive when they don't do well.

Or did you miss the part where i contributed to the game at the start and my friend explicitly told me to leave them on hook because nurse was facecamping?

  • @Tsulan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3241985#Comment_3241985

Good swf teams can´t be a tiny percentage of actual players. Otherwise their impact on escape rates wouldn´t be noticeable in the stats. But it is.

Ok tiny percentage is probably an exaggeration but the majority of players are still going to be less than skillful. Doesn't take many slip ups for the killer to have an easy game. Particularly in chases, unless you have a lot of experience it's very easy to lose a chase and get downed against even a semi competent killer

Balancing a game to only appeal to the competitive players will make it pretty unplayable for new players. Which will kill the uptake tate of the game They need to do some balancing on solo q as killer really seems to dominate it as is.

Ok with more context I take back what I said....when I first read what you posted it sounded like what I have experienced a lot in soloQ...the lone hider that dosnt do anything just to try and get the hatch.

Yeah it's only if the game is obviously unwinnable that I'll resort to tactics like that. Most games I'm more than happy to get in killer's face and buy a bit of time for people to do gens, or go for saves and heals. As well as gen work myself.

Nothing worse than a player who spends the entire game not contributing at all from the start.

I guess you are right, as i said i am not as skilled as the game thinks, or the mmr is completely broken, one game i play vs newbies and i get easy 4k with 1 gen done, another game i face lvl 70+ bully squad that is running the most toxic loadout you could run with ofc map offering.

There is no middle ground, you either rekt or get rekted.

Yh this game is a bit seesaw like that. Maybe 2 in every 10 games i get as killer is actually even. I either steamroll a team with no teamplay or struggle against bully squads. I live for those games where it feels like an even match and I'm not forced to tunnel to get a quick kill by genrushing but i have to work for my downs. And surv is even more extreme, we either escape with ease against a baby killer or we get rapidly 4Kd.

I'd just lean into the losses for a bit, not worry too much about getting that 4 k. A few bad games will help balance your mmr and you'll see less bully boy squads. What killers you play out of interest?

  • @Kosturko92 said:

There is couple of things people don't understand.

The percentage of the kills/escapes will never be a true measure because many of those kills are suicide hooks or bad survivors in solo quee.

The solo quee doesn't favor survivors by any means, but SWF does by all means.

If there was only SWF quee ( and solo quee totally removed ), you would see less then 30% killer rates ( including bully squad that doesn't want to escape )

On the ground basis level this game is so unbalanced in favor of survivors. You play alone vs 4 players, on maps that take ageis to travel from 1 gen to another, with so many loops that it actually takes time to down anyone. And by the time you down someone, a tryhard team will do 2/3 gens because of all speed gen addons and perks and how easy is to rush them.

This is just simply a skill issue. A loop doesn't guarentee a survivor will loop you 3 time and make loads of time. Idk how you play but if you struggle to end chases then you must just shift+w after the survivor.

When i play killer. Even against high level high skill survivors, I play unpredictably, I'll moonwalk and double back on loops to lunge into pallet. Sometimes i get stunned sometimes I surprise the surv and get a hit, probably 50/50. Ghost face is amazing at it. Just pop stealth and the drop in tr and the stain disappearing often throws off the surv for that one second you need to double back and clap them. Demogorgon, twins, clown, huntress obviously nurse. All of them have amazing anti loop and some other killers can punish loopers like deathslinger and plague.

And you can injure a surv and then hassle a gen, switching targets rapidly really throws swfs off their game. Predicting what vault a surv is going for allows you to use a different route and cut them off. Run discordance, overcharge, oppression, jolt. All of these will let you figure out what gens are being worked on and help regress them.

Gens being done quickly is no bad thing sometimes, first 2 gens usually pop pretty quick, then just herd them away from the ones you want to keep for the 3 gen then you'll get lots of downs and hooks in the lategame. Idk how you play but playing killer effectively against swfs requires planning and mind games. Just holding W and clicking when surv is close enough isn't going to work at high mmrs.

  • @VikingDragonXii said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3243407#Comment_3243407

No they say play the game because OP decided to hide all match and let their teammates die on hook just to get a consolation escape.....it even sounds like they didn't do Gens but locker hop all game.

I completed the equivalent of 2 entire gens. One finished solely by me and considerable progress on 2 more. Finished my halloween rift in the match too. I didn't start to locker hop until we were down to 2 players. Even when I did i was still putting progress on a gen while there was no TR.

We were both working on the same gen, i got off, pointed to the other side of the map, they nodded and went to the other side. Idk what they did but the nurse didn't find them for quite a while.

  • @Bardon said:

I love how the OP claims that the Nurse playing to win is "sweaty" and even "toxic" because she chose effective perks but OP hiding and abandoning their team-mates is "playing to win".

Difference between abandoning your team mates and following lemmings off a cliff. I'm not generally one to leave my teammates on hook if there is a good opportunity to save them.

My swf mate actively said to not bother unhooking her because the nurse was proxy camping her. And i saw both randoms go for unhooks. Then in less than a minute both unhooker and unhookee would be slugged and hooked.

Don't see why people are saying i should simply run in and get myself hooked so i can experience the delight of watching the person I'm trying to save also get rehooked in front of me lol.

Edit: also I call the nurse sweaty because she was hook camping, slugging and tunneling hard from the start of the game when she clearly didn't need to. Legitimate tactics but nobody is fond of playing against that. Sure I dislike NOED (I think it's a pretty cheap one in endgame) but I can respect a good killer with a good perk setup.

You can do it I promise! Its definitely tricky to learn but possible, iv been a solo survivor for so many years now but you can run nurse for a decent amount of time when you learn.

Obviously you cant do it easily or every chase and if you could itd be to easy and shed be so very weak, shes just a killer that is most different to counter so it's much harder to adept.

And I'm not sure, I'll wait to hear from a dev before I believe that just because it's such a impactful thing

But I believe in you getting better and kicking nurse behind from one solo to another!

I can do it with some, going to the narrow side of a wall. And mindgaming them, erratic changes of direction. But a really good nurse with years of experience is well above my current skill level. And on console i can only do so much on controller, it's very hard to 360 a killer on console. I won't learn anything by getting downed as quickly as every body else in the match was. Especially if i get limited to one chase by facecamping.

Pftt why argue with people who tell you it's wrong? The devs didn't buff sole survivor for no reason.

If your team is garbo, cut the cord. It is annoying being left in a game with someone else who isn't doing gens either; but what can you do? If someone DC'd, suicided, or got tunneled out trivially at 5 gens (because MMR works well) it's a hatch game and you play for hatch or a solo door escape. You don't have to explain that to anybody. You played to win and if the only way to win is hatch then that's that.

Play in a SWF if you want to be attached to your teammates, in DBD they are basically your meat shields for the purposes of solo Q with how many games are going to play out

Yeah we usually play a 4 person swf. And even near the end i was still working on gens and just popping in a locker when I heard terror radius. Plus I'd resolved to kill myself on hook if i got caught before the bill. I'll help teammates if I can. But sometimes all that does is provide killer with more hits and hooks so sometimes it is necessary to play for hatch.

If it were any other killer, i may agree that it could be my teammates fault, but the truth is i also cant loop nurse for more than 20sec. It is not a situation of me looping for a certain amount time and my team doing nothing.

The problem is, i play alone dbd, most my friends left with 6.1.0 so i cant form a coordinated swf to be prepared against a possible nurse match up so my games are usually a gamble. Should i get a killer i can loop and have a chance of winning, or i get nurse.

From what i heard about DCs, i think the whole match does not count in terms of stats, because if one DCs early in any games the other three are likely to die almost certainly.

If a player DCs it does prevent you from depipping.

  • @EntitySpawn said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3243241#Comment_3243241

You didnt counter her though you didnt win and your whole team lost, you didnt even counter her power in chase etc.

I'm not saying you cant hide at certain points to avoid detection as it's quite strong against nurse but just hiding doesnt do anything at all.

Personally I'd rather just play, it's more fun and I get more points and I can only get better if I keep trying though theres not much more for me to learn after running nurses for so many years now but they're definitely beatable.

But you can counter camping through pushing gens and trading just before next stage and this will usually give a win to 1-3 survivors, even easier with certain perks.

My advice, just play and try to have fun and learn new stuff in the process. Everyone can seem good if you arent use to countering them so keep that in mind

I mean I enjoyed the match. And it clearly wasn't going to be a gen win. Because the 2 randoms tried to force the unhook, got constantly downed and essentially threw the game. And i did counter them, just not in chase, they were clearly good at ending chases, so i decided to come at the game from another angle. Clearly their hunting skills were subpar. Didn't search the area thoroughly enough after i repaired a gen they regressed 3 times.

Like i said i never generally play like this, if I have a genuine chance against a killer I'll happily engage and often die. But one who can and did down all 3 of the other survivors in rapid succession? Why play into their hands? I survived, got points and played as effectively as i could given the situation.

Not like i gave up straight away, but when you are 3-5 minutes into a game, your team mate is communicating that the killer is camping hook, they are second stage and 2 randoms both on one hook? Yh sure enter a chase with that killer.

  • @Rovend said:

i dont know, i truly hate getting matched against nurse, but i would still play the game normally unhooking and everything.

I still have hope that someone of my random teammates can actually loop her for more than 15-20 sec because i cant.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3243199#Comment_3243199

i dont know how nurse can possibly have that 52% kill rate, every single game i have played against nurse in the past 4-5 month have always ended with 4k (Mainly because i play SoloQ only and for some reason every single nurse player i get has like 3k-4k hours minimum and plays like they were in dbd World Cup).

The only explanation i can think of that low of kill rate if because people can get so frustrated playing against her that they DC and make that matches not count in the total stats.

Pretty sure DCs count as kills. In my experience nurse is a killer of 2 extremes. If you can't hit blinks then you'll struggle massively and probably get 0-1k games. But if you are good with blink, particularly on PC then you can literally hit people through walls. And i often find good nurse players are extremely sweaty, NOED, slugging, tunneling. I'm just pleased i managed to outplay one of them.

But yh those subpar nurses probably drop her killrate a lot.

Damn can you imagine being your friend...

I'd hate to choose to play with someone and they act so childish and entitled and when I'm actually playing the game you decide to not even try...

Like if I'm getting camped do gens...

It's funny though, so many people give up verse nurse and dont try yet she still has a low kill rate, imagine if we PLAYED THE GAME

Tbh she was more annoyed at the nurse for playing so cheaply when they clearly were extremely good at blink hits. She encouraged me to leave her on hook while nurse was camping, which was the entire time she was on hook, to play stealthy and was pretty pleased that I escaped.

Lotta people here who'd apparently be happy to run at a killer and get killed if it was obvious the killer was out of their skill range. Rather than counter them with different tactics.

Sounds to me like the rest of the team actually played the match and interacted with the killer and you just held m1, I mean you do you but I would rather be in their place than yours

Well it looked to me like the first two got busted so quick that they got 5k and 8k bp each and depipped because they were up against a killer who is almost impossible to survive a chase against if the killer player knows what they are doing. Also one who also decided to tunnel and hook camp.

I mean i could've directly engaged the killer and gotten rinsed as well. Seems like a dumb play. Or as I chose to, played to counter them with stealth, which I did very effectively. Survived, pipped up and got a decent amount if bp. Plus i had the most gen progress in the game. So i maxed out two of the main objectives for survivors. Seems like playing the game to me.

Plus it's satisfying to frustrate a player, who will use an OP killer then resort to every cheap tactic in the book, out of their 4k.

  • Ohhh my bad. Missed that detail

Yup totally agree with OP. The dowsing rods are pretty #########. We should've gotten flans or ghastly gateaux or something.

  • This suggestion would remarkably unbalance the game. Like some perks need the element of surprise to be effective. It'd make a lot of perks useless, and also hugely unbalance the game in the killers favour, which it already is.

  • Wut? Cheap torches and medkits? I don't see the issue with those being in your inventory.

Huntress can throw hatchets at 40 m/s. If she could throw victor, wonder how fast that would be

He would break the sound barrier and instadown survivors if he hit them.

For sure, it’s a risk if you don’t know where the killer is when you do it.

And that's always the issue in solo q. No way to communicate so solo q players usually get shredded.

Also time efficiency. If you think the killer is busy in another chase then healing right away under hook saves a bit of time compared to running somewhere first.

True. I'll do that with my swf mates. But in solo q unless you see the obession's spider legs twitching it's almost impossible to tell.

  • I feel like solo q players will do that because otherwise they struggle to get healed. No communication so if they lose sight of you and aren't running bond then they lose you, and can't easily communicate where to do the heal as usually people clear out from hook too fast to benefit from a point emote.

  • That's weird. Mine triggered fine

  • Demo is the primo speedy boi. And i suppose victor might count. His pounce is pretty fast.

  • Just run whispers. Survs shouldn't have stealth plays ruined, killers already have it easy enough.

  • Feels like killer endgame perks would mess this up. No way out for sure would bring the killer down on you and lock you out of getting out, always messes up a solo gate escape. Very cool, imaginative build though. I usually just run left behind and hope for the best, maybe bring a hatch offering and a key sometimes.
