Exactly. Got it in my first game.
It would be too much anyway if you would need to complete 3 Gens on your own, meaing you have to sit 240 seconds on Gens, completely alone. And once someone just sits on it for 2 seconds, you cannot complete your challenge with this Gen... Surely this is not how it is meant to be.
I also got it on my first game, luckily we just had to be there for the gens completion.

There are still people complaining about the Dark Sense-Challenge? Where you only have to be sitting on the Gen when it is completed and dont need to do 3 complete Gens on their own? Wow.
Dark sense one was easy, dunno why everyone hates it.

I'm not a huntress player but her typical build at red ranks is:
BBQ, Ruin, Nurse's Calling and Whispers.
I've seen some people using Iron Maiden instead of whispers though.
And remember, on-hit effects doesn't work with her hatchets (only with her basic attack),.
This is her best build imo

I have some suggestions for grab challenges, prayer beads bracelet spirit, use Clown and force medium vaults, or play doc and face camp in treatment mode.

Determination: I think this’d be too strong.
Nerds rule: how would undetectable work for survivors?
minus touch: feels like I’d waste time.
Obsessed with chaos: this perk seems balanced but nobody wants to be trapped for a minute. :(
Hex:blood heist:seems nice
savage predictions:seems good

Lobby dodging is fine. If they take away the ability for me to dodge a team full of Blendettes, I’ll just Alt+F4. It’s hard enough to deal with SWF, I don’t want to go blind looking for a group of Predators.
Blendette and predator are hardly comparable, Blendette isn’t really that hard to see.

If you think the huntress feels like RNG then you dont know how to play against her.
I play huntress all day and the hatchets that look like they shouldnt have hit are just a small percentage of all you throw in game.

Skilled huntress is harder, I got the throw 1000 hatchets awhile ago but still don’t have skilled huntress.

how DbD's hitboxes even function makes this impossible
because the character model doesn't always line up with the simplistic hitbox, when they tried to "fix" it, huntresses hatchets would often fly through survivors without doing damage
They already do that sometimes

And yet, that's patently not true. 🤔
I guess that you can prove that people can’t have valid opinions just because they play one/mostly play one side?

Not necessarily true. If I had 10 bad games in a row against clown, and went to the forums to rant that clown is OP and needs nerfs, is that a valid opinion? Obviously not, I would just need to improve my survivor gameplay.
I never said everything people say is valid. I said everyone has a valid opinion.

I just really wish they didn't put the base kit changes on console nurse is ridiculously hard to play now before I could atleast do something
I play on PS4, she has always been harder on console but it is still possible to do good with her.

No my point is that you think the Nurse feels like ######### even though the changes had barely impacted her.
I got use to the cooldown pretty fast, I don’t get the complaints about it.

That is actually funny

look at all this clowns in here. never touched nurse but talking like a big boy huh? she is just unfun to play because of her stupid recharges. and if you guys are still getting destroyed by her then i dont even know how you ever got to red ranks with survivor. you can just run in a straight line now against her and there is nothing she can do to catch up.
Find proof for this wild claim, I played nurse before the rework and still play her.

Trapper still chases more though, hag sorta has less interaction.

What shocked me the most was Hag being the least played killer at red ranks. Her killrate is one of the best too, so it can't be that she's weak.
I guess people don’t like her play style

I dunno I rarely see a 2k happen its usually 0, 1, 3, or 4k
Usually the killer dominates or the survivors do.
That is my experience too which is, I guess balanced.
-
@Liruliniel said:
Sounds like the survivors "overperformed" we better get them nerfed
@GrootDude any suggestions?
Technically a 2k average would include a 50/50 of 0 and 4ks.
-
How would you change looping? Frankly I find stealthy/immersed players the most annoying to play against.
-
Can’t we just agree that neither are fine?
-
For this to be at all mathematically possible, four survivors would’ve all had to be on outer map gens with no pressure from the killer or three survivors all on outer gens and then the three survivors grouping up on a gen with no pressure from the killer. If they did outer gens then you should have an easier time patrolling and every hook would give you more pressure, maybe some slugs to.

Rank 1. Been rank 1 for 2 years. Killer and survivor. I don't play Myers much if at all, but I've use this add-on. It is NOT hard to get. The only time it is hard to get is against a 4 man SWF, but literally everything is hard against them. Even the most OP builds like old omega blink Nurse would be hard against that. Getting EW3 using Tuft of Hair is easy, I see it happen all the time against good survivors.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/860981#Comment_860981
Could literally say the same thing about Prayer Beads. They are actually very easy to counter, just don't be stupid and blindly do a gen without being somewhat aware of her position on the map. And Spine Chill completely shuts down this add-on.
I'm willing to bet those Myers you faced weren't that good. We have some really good Myers players on Xbox because for some reason a lot of players love him. Again, you are only going to get 3 gens done before he gets infinite EW3 if you are in a 4 man SWF. If you are not, then chances are high he will get it sooner, and if he gets it sooner you are done.
I just love how people shame Prayer Beads but in the same breathe defend infinite one shots then justify it as being "hard at high ranks" which is literally true of anything especially if you are against an SWF. Like really people?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/860978#Comment_860978
Again Spine Chill. And no, it's not JUST for Prayer Beads, this is a meta-but-no-one-will-admit-that-perk that is useful against EVERY killer in EVERY game. I honestly can't even think of an instance where you won't find use from it.
Also again... just have some map awareness. If you know she has Prayer Beads and you are on a gen, either be sure she is chasing someone else or tap the gen. Or just be ready to let go the instant you see her. You CAN hear footsteps, so if you pay attention she shouldn't ever be able to grab you. It is as much your fault as Myers or GF, albeit harder to beat.
I don't DC against any killer. The only times I've DC'd are against infinite tombstone, and only then because the Myers would outright refuse to kill me, so I just sit in a locker and we stare at each other for 20 minutes. It actually has nothing to do with the build and everything to do with the killer dragging out the game for a stupid achievement.
Spine chill and OoO combo is love, they think you’re an easy hit but then you start running away.
-
I don’t think Ghostface is top five like others do but he can still be good.

@Wuhelm said:

I don't play killer because killer is harder than playing easy mode survivor, hence I am a survivor main. It's not the killer's fault that you are slugged it's your teammates fault for not healing you, I don't get mad at the killer when I get slugged I get mad at my potato teammate who's hiding waiting for hatch, but if you left behind a husk and the husk was not subject to a timer that would be fine be fine as it changes nothing. Currently though there is no husk that is left behind and until the devs implement that you will probably never get a concede button. I would be down though for a concede button though if the whole team agrees to it, but the team would forfeit all their points and the killer would still get the points as if he had hooked them and vice versa if the killer initiated the concede the survivors would get escaped points.
Why would your teammate save you? Everyone knows the killer didn’t stray far.

One reason I main survivor so hard is because DBD is a game I like to play with my friends, but I don't enjoy KYF because I take the game less seriously and find it less thrilling when my opponent is my friend and not a stranger. Perhaps the fact that everything is handed to you in KYF and there are no ranks, xp or bloodpoints earned, therefore no real stakes, also have a hand in it. But if I weren't almost always with friends when I play, I'd probably play a lot more of both sides.
Similarly to many others, I enjoy survivor for two main reasons: cooperation and stealth. I'm a big fan of cooperative and team games in general, and when it comes to DBD there are few things more satisfying than pulling off a great save, or managing to juke the killer in a chase, or watching the killer looking for you from the safety of the excellent hiding place you found.
Basically, being part of a successful team is great, and so is feeling like you've outsmarted your opponent (which is something I'm sure killers can also agree with). The teamwork thing is probably the main reason that I prefer survivor to killer, because while killer can be enjoyable in its own way, I don't really like the feeling of being alone and unsupported with a whole team of people against me.
I’ve actually ran into a friend of mine twice when he was killer and another one three times on my team, small world in red ranks lol.

Without balanced you can hit survivors very easy after they dropped.
This ^^^ normally you’ll only get to vault safely once, you usually get hit after the second vault.
Just imagine the Myers house when the killer has bamboozle now. :P

And so's 4 kills.
Look at the replies here; Some people actually believe it's BAD to go for a 4K or slug to prevent the hatch from opening, when you know the 3rd guy will hook-suicide to give his friend the hatch.
Some people in this very thread basically say what my OP satires; that I should just be happy with a 3K and going for a 4K is being a tryhard. It's quite silly.
I don’t think it’s bad to go for the 4K, just boring from both sides imo.

By that same logic isn't a three man escape still a win.
If the killer decides to defend the last hook to guarantee at least one kill why don't the survivors just leave instead of 99 and the gates and trying to desperately get the save
It is still a win, who said it wasn’t?
