It was nerfed in some ways (no longer applies to non-pallet stuns), and buffed in others (reduced length of pallet stuns).
The top image says 75%, yes, but that's 75% faster stun recovery, which is actually longer than 50% reduced stun duration. DBD maths is weird.
100% faster recovery means half stun duration, so 75% faster recovery actually means you recover in 1.875 seconds as opposed to the current 1.5 seconds from pallet stuns.
It makes perfect sense when you realize the wording is dumb.

I'm sure MOST people don't group up to be a crack squad. But I can also assure you that MOST people who do SWF are also on comms. And even the slightest call out is info that solo queue players don't get. It's just flat-out not fair, no matter how casual your group might be.
Sure. Bring Killer and Solo up to snuff with SWF and close the gap so people playing with their friends doesn't bring along such an intense stigma anymore.

And if you want to play with friends, that's great. By all means, play this game format that is specifically balanced to account for all of your friends being able to chat and hang out. But keep that out of the base game, which is not even remotely balanced for it.
True, it would be great if the game was balanced to account for people on comms.
But it's weird to act like people just getting together and playing a fun party game with their friends is impossible and only consummate professionals and Satan's left testicle do SWF.

What you've invented is basically a bug zapper for Mikaelas.
I don't think it'd actually fail often, though. Even if nobody brought boons (and somebody brought boons) - when people see that many totems, they go "oh god oh no oh #########" and assume it's protecting Devour or something really fiendish and nasty and get on them like their lives depend on it.
The best part is that if you get lucky, Haunted Grounds plus aura reading can proc twice.
You know, I wasn't even thinking about boons at all when I thought of the build, but that's such a good point i'm
stealingtaking, copyrighting and levying lawsuits against anyone else who uses the name. -

3-4 man SWF groups aren't into the game for the atmosphere or challenge. They want escapes. Which is why 3-4 man SWF should get randomized Bot Killers. If all they want is to bully, sweat, and slam gens as hard as possible, let them go up against an automated antagonist. Save the killer players for solos and duos who might actually experience the suspense, tension, and surprise of going up against a real player.
The 3-4 SWF get auto-queues because the game just generates a killer for them, while all the solos get much faster queues because all the killer players are reserved for them. And then the game can be balanced around the Solo Queue experience without killer SWF squads unfairly profiting off of game tweaks. Plus, they can just adjust the killer bots to cheat at higher MMRs, with faster movespeeds/recovery so the SWF folk get a challenge no matter how broken they set up their team.
Agreed, they should change the name to "Survive with Tournament Allies".
Friends aren't real.

At this point, I have to wonder if it would just be better for endgame chat to be disabled and names hidden across the board.
-
Pay BM with BM, and not a moment before.
-
I've seen far more people complaining about people complaining about lightborn than i have people complaining about lightborn.
-
If you shrunk maps, actually fixed the tile density of some maps and made everyone spawn together every time, you wouldn't need to mess with gen speed.
-
I, personally, am okay with exhaustion perks not being as blisteringly strong as the current front runners.

Blink to where you last saw them and use your second blink to adjust.
-
All perks are valid. Go nuts.
-
Just make the self-heal speed 50%.
That way, it's the best perk a killer can bring for everyone.
-
I mean yeah, that'd be cool, if every boon that wasn't CoH was good enough to warrant that kind of edge.

actually, fixing the flashlight to work isn't killing it. you're just admitting people use it because its broken
So many things have to go right for a flashlight save to work.
Did the killer down someone next to a wall? No save. Did the killer down someone in an open field? No save. Does the killer have Lightborn? No save. Did the killer whip around unexpectedly before they picked up? No save. Does the killer know you have flashlights and checks around? Do they fake the pickup and bait you out? No save, and they get free pressure. And even if everything goes right and you're at the right place at the right time, you have to have the perfect timing down to a fraction of a second.
Flashlights are probably the best item a killer can bring, all they do against a good killer is make Survivors play like idiots.
Now, since there's practically no limit on turning speed, and you can only save by blinding out of the pickup animation, that means there's probably only one or two frames you can successfully blind on since the killer will most likely be sliding his mouse right off his mousepad the second he sees the flashlight. Meaning this incredibly tight timing is now impossibly tight.
Meaning no one brings flashights anymore and brings toolboxes and medkits. Blinding at windows and pallets is useless.
-
The problem is literally just CoH, that change would turn Exponential and Shadowstep into very unfortunate casualties.
All you have to do is remove the self-heal speed buff to make it Self Care speed.
-
Nice.
-
You just need the right build for Solo Queue.
Here's mine.
-
Are flashlight saves actually such a big deal that you want BHVR to kill them for you?

It's often obvious - multiple TTVs in a lobby: it's probably a premade. 4x players joining simultaneously is another sign.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2704196#Comment_2704196
As others have pointed out, it's not so much that these groups are more difficult. It's that these groups are often toxic in ways that solos aren't really capable of, particularly in terms of stalling the match out forever and refusing to complete the final gens to grief.
I imagine the people who are really serious about dodging SWFs are gonna be checking profiles.
About 90% of the SWFs i've noticed are by checking.

I thought I was the only one. I could care less if they are SWF honestly. It is not that deep to me.
Obsessively checking everyone's friends list to make sure they're not SWF sounds like such a chore.
-
Carefully.
-
People have a real loose definition of "deathsquad" around here.
-
It's just this part that's the problem. It turns a Self Care into a normal medkit.
Take it out and we're golden.
-
I forget to even look at the lobby half of the time.
-
I don't know how they could fix it without just delaying the hitsound.
The speed off light isn't fast enough.

It's the truth sorry if you can't admit it I just laid out the facts for you and instead of arguing or discussing all your doing is this
Haha look how mad you are lol
That adds nothing to the discussion and unless you can prove me wrong or at least put together something other then name calling then yeah I'd still say it's a fact
I can't believe i've actually been hit with a "lol mad"

I didn't know admitting facts makes you sound bitter
I hope you never take high level college course your professors might come off as bitter because it's all facts
Different game but I plays popular fighting game named Tekken 7 about a year ago there was a character so busted on release that everyone complained until he was nerfed 3 months later
That doesn't make people bitter for wanting the game to be better
Idk what world you live in that wanting and aspiring for improvements makes you sound bitter
Maybe you need to sit back and think about the way you view things and perhaps look up bitter in the dictionary
Definitely not bitter.

Why is it that because I can recognize that a perk is busted asf that I have to have a chip on my shoulder?
A perk that even many survivors say is strong asf
I have a chip on my shoulder because I recognize and can be real and admit that their are survivor squads that stream on twitch trying to bully killers as hard as they can?
I have a chip on my shoulder because even the devs themselves said gg ez or baby killer isn't a bannable offense even though it's toxic asf?
More because of how hilariously bitter you sound over a game.
-
@LoneSlinger said:
Defs not otherwise why would survivors buy cosmetics if they couldn't bully the killer take a slap then run away and heal instantly
Would you like me to call a physician to take a look at that chip in your shoulder?

Please.

Removing perk tiers would be a great step.
Or maybe starting you one tier higher for every level of prestige you have.
Or just double blood points. Not sure what would be better.

His camping strength comes from the fact that his zombies are pressuring gens while he stands next to hook and does absolutely nothing.
I have the same experience with Ruin tho. I don't run Ruin/Undying because both totems often break before I even take a health state from a survivor. Every time I go up against Ruin, however, I either waste 2-3 minutes finding 4 dull totems or I don't bother looking for totems and Ruin carries the killer to a 4k.
Wish I had the same luck most of the killers I face have, when it comes to hex perks.
Ain't that just the beauty of hexes.
Running them? Survivors literally spawn within line of sight of them.
Against them? Welcome to RPD. Also, your teammates are staring at walls and the killer's a cracked Nurse. ######### you.

spaghetti code, most likely. and now its a feature.
Words cannot express
-
That's the same idea I had a while ago, and it turns out that what the game considers a protection hit is very, very generous.
IE, generous enough to make the perk useless.
Just remove collision from the person with BT while it's in effect so they can't bodyblock you.
