Blendette is the term because she camouflaged within the environment the best in prior versions. Nothing more.
-
Apart from a Sacrificial Ward, you can also burn your own map offering and see what happens.

It's one of the stronger killer maps, but unless you're a stealth or plain M1 killer it's just straight unfun since powers are almost impossible to use in it. RPD is worse.
Lots of fun as a stealth killer!

Just out of curiosity, does blessing a totem count for this? (Haven't seen much ptb gameplay)
If not it totally should.
Nope, cleansing only at the moment.
-
That’s not cheesy at all! It’s a great use of a powerful, rare add-on.
-
@Clevite said:
Honestly, if you're kicking gens with out a slow down perk , you're doing it wrong.
That’s a rather false blanket statement. There are simply times it’s ok to do this.
If BHVR would just make base generator damage 5% then do standard regression, killers would get a little more reward for stopping to perform the action. It would help offset gen tapping at least a bit.

I don't like this perk at all, Mikaela should be like hag but a survivor, what I am saying is, her 3 perks should be boon
Another boon would be cool! The only difference is that all boon perks stack and are able to be put on a totem multiple times in a match; unlike hexes on three separate totems, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. I’m not even sure how BHVR can introduce too many more boon perks. In a SWF you’ll just have one teammate dedicated to running boon perks boosting the whole team.
Either way, Clairvoyance is doo doo. If anything for the fact it goes against her two own perks instead of coordinating with them. It should also work when blessing totems if it’s going to maintain such a weak effect. Otherwise give it something better entirely.

couldn't have said it better. It's really sad how some people can't see the mori and key comparison.
Getting one hook and another down on the same survivor ≠ completing at least three generators + some survivors dying, or completing all five generators. Most reasonable people agree there was no need to remove the hatch spawning at least in the latter situation (all gens repaired).
Killer’s don’t need to 4K every match. It should be ok if survivors have another way of escaping the trial besides the exit gates with a powerful, rare item and specific circumstances.
-
I’m way less concerned with PoTD than I still am about cages/tormenting survivors. The amount of camping and tunneling this allows for PH players, my gosh. Allegedly the cage is supposed to respawn elsewhere if he gets too close, which apparently must be touching the caged survivor. Because I can’t even remember the last time I saw a cage move when he was within a very close range. And cage locations are predetermined and fixed.
Thankfully the concern is minimal only because I hardly ever see him, about as much as Nurse.
-
Yep, you are absolutely right. The hatch got gutted more than keys. Amazingly, they also have yet to do anything to prevent the remaining survivors from stealthing around the map waiting out other survivors to die. They could have at least alleviated this issue for our killer players.
I am someone with thousands of hours on PC since 2016 and mobile since release. On DbD Mobile, my solo queue teammates are almost always such potatoes that I have to run a key and hatch offering just to feel I can escape for doing my part. I am usually carrying the heaviest amount of gen work just to get the current minimum three gens done, while they are going down in 30 seconds or less every chase. Now I won’t even have that option to have some sort of personal escape and victory even if their matchmaking and player base is **** awful.
Also, think how devalued the Black Silk Cord is with this change. 10,000 BP item (not including one other optional add-on) just to track a hatch if and only if you’re the last survivor in the trial. Lol.
So yes, this will only exasperate the problem for survivors.

You have never played killers on Dead Dawg or Swamp against P3 Clauds and Fengs...
Well it is also called Dead By "Daylight"
”By Daylight”, meaning before daylight arrives.
It’s funny people consider gen speeds such a problem when the game no longer offers any immersion or chance to hide from the killer. Brighter maps with huge dead zones and gens out in the open are the norm. Separate discussion, but camping and tunneling are the norm. Survivors therefore have no choice but to slam generators.
+1 to OP. Bring back fog, old game atmosphere, and moonlight offerings. Basically, give us Dead by Daylight back.
-
Boy if that’s really how your matches go, you seriously need to run Whispers every trial.
-
*Two strong perks, and already nerfed before they go live. Clairvoyance is doo doo.
-
I reported this bug nearly a month ago with video evidence (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/280056/prove-thyself-working-solo#latest), no mod acknowledgement.
-
It wouldn't really be fair to other survivors to have the obsession status thrown on them by another survivor. There are conditions you don't want to be the obsession (Remember Me, Rancor, etc.).
You get a visible timer to know when your aura's about to be revealed, so work around it with lockers. It's part of the risk of running the perk.

Her add on is good. No need for a nerf.
For someone who uses it like your name, sure.
Also, I don’t think “nerf” is the right word here, but rather rework. Add the range requirement or something, but also give back more hatchet capacity.
-
@slendermansmoom said:
that's not a good idea because the whole reason they got removed was because skilled huntresses would hit 3 people across map because bbq and lethal persuer and the games already over. that won't bother good players and cause more drama over it
If you get hit with a hatchet from BBQ or Lethal Pursuer, you deserve it. OP is correct, make this add-on skill based and not 'Hur hur hur free insta-down point blank.'
-
I'm shocked they thought the Makeshift Wrap would be an ok idea, especially for a common add-on of all things. I am very concerned about that add-on.
-
The only one I can think of that could be (not is, but could be) genuinely impossible is invigorating two intoxicated survivors in a trial. That is the only one 100% in the hands of the other side. But of course there are a ton of poorly designed challenges on top of that one.
-
To weaker perks being buffed? Yes.
To stronger perks being nerfed? In most cases not.
Some perks also aren’t necessarily weak or strong, but niche or meme. So they’re not always going to be popular picks.

I don't think it does, blessing a totem does not activate inner strength or clairvoyance.
You are correct, blessing is not cleansing.

Don't you see the boon totem as a survivor?
It would be simple math problem
Small game says 2 totems are destroyed you see 2 that are boon. How many are left?
Ah yes, I forgot the aura of the boon totems is map-wide. Fair point. More information wouldn't hurt though!

It's like... 8 seconds max.
Roughly 13.

Medium strength. His ability to quickly teleport (or fake it) to incomplete generators makes him one of the most boring killers out there. Because of that ability alone it’s rare you’ll ever see him without some combination of BBQ, Ruin, Pop, and most definitely Tinkerer.
Yawn.
His add-ons are trash though. Just give us old Freddy back with a few modifications.

Funny enough before asylum was reworked the bottom gen spawn didn't exist lol
It did, but was RNG! They might’ve taken it out completely pre-rework though.
-
Hag, Cannibal is a very close second. Same reason as you mentioned in OP.
-
I seriously have no idea what’s going to happen match to match, and that’s on both sides. I’ll have apparent rank 20s and then the next match a bunch of champs. I haven’t had any consistency.
-
Yes, very much so. Reoccurring issue on that map.

The post does say small tweak change, doesn't it?
Yeah, it probably would have been easier to just list out the number changes than putting the whole description updated though. It's not just the numbers that make this perk bad to me either.
-
So just a numbers change?

The map plays like garbage but I'm surprised no one mentions the performance issues on it. My PC is not a high tier one, but I can run games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Sekiro without any slutters and 60 FPS, but whenever I load into this ######### map not even on low I get rid of freezes.
Plenty have brought up performance issues!

@landromat said:
imo old undying wouldn't be a problem with counter force
Counterforce is the worst totem-hunting perk (Clairvoyance not included, but also a garbage perk). All it takes is another survivor destroying one totem for you to lose its benefits. If it’s the one that was revealed to you, you won’t know where the next totem is nor receive the additional 20% cleansing speed.
It will also be cucked by boon totems if they go live in their current form.

@Harold_Shipman said:
what if... no mither granted a permanent haste bonus?
I think that would be rather unbalanced, considering most survivors are ok playing the game injured.
-
@GannTM said:
I will have to say the library in RPD is probably the worst designed room in the whole game. There’s no hooks and the balcony is easily abusable.
There is a hook in the corner, in the back most area away from both doorways. You probably missed it because of all the blighted stuff blending it with the rest of the map.
-
Yeah, really until they change it to start the survivor healthy and not show the broken status to the killer, it will never be more than an unused meme.
The upcoming buff to recovery speed might make it more viable with Flip Flop and Power Struggle though.. if you ensure you're downed under a pallet every time.

Would you consider making Distraction work against all killers? You can be chased by Michael for three minutes and its dial never moves. I love the perk but wish it would still be usable against stealth killers. I'm not aware of many perks which have no use against only certain killers.
All healing perks and items are rendered useless against Plague, at least most of the time. One of the reasons I hate her power.
The problem if Diversion is changed to work on undetectable killers is that it would double as a detection perk for free.
Maybe it could be charged by repairing generators like Blast Mine and Flashbang instead? Or a combination of both ways?
-
Yep! What I would give to have him back...
-
I advocate for a 5% base damage to kicking, nerfing Pop to 20%, and leaving base regression the same.
-
I'd rather not click a URL if I don't have to. There's a poll option area on these forums.

I think they should pull from overwatch a little bit.
Firstly, make the reporting system better. Make it easier to do, and let people know if their reports did something. And maybe instead of just banning people there could be certain restrictions applied, like if someone is overly toxic in endgame chat they wouldn't be able to use it anymore.
Add an endorsement system. Evolve the "give props" system into something more and give rewards to the players that are a display of good behaviour.
+1
I will never trust BHVR/Dead by Daylight's in-game report system in its current state. At the very least, tell us you reviewed it - even if you can't tell us what specific action you took. Right now it just gives the appearance of buttons to press to make a player feel better. Doesn't help when they always want additional reporting outside of the game client. Never needed to do that in Overwatch, even in the case of cheaters. So what gives?
-
Please no. It even sounds horrible, adding a “2” to the end of the title. Just fix and maintain what we have.
-
You simply can’t balance around such a glorified concept. It’s just not how the flow of a trial works. It’s almost never a 2k. Practically any other outcome than that.
The devs would know this if they played their own game.
-
I thought for sure this would be a buff post. I’m surprised you find it too strong. It’s balanced how it is, in my opinion.

You can perhaps make certain changes to reduce it, but the game encourages toxicity by its nature (4 v. 1).

The fact Undetectable doesn’t even negate lullabies puts it immediately in the garbage pile for me.
-
There’s no way they’ll do that, too much coding and variation amongst the roster on both sides. It’s unrealistic to expect to use every one of those perks even once in a trial.
How would Open Handed work on Ace, whose other two perks have nothing to do with aura reading? Separate discussion, but that’s always bugged me about Open Handed. Does nothing on its own, and is the only perk that is like that. Doesn’t even mesh with his own other two perks as I said, even more embarrassing.

And how is that a problem, exactly?
Not all totem spawns are created equal. There is also a mode known as solo queue.
