Really I have faced over 20+ huntress and they keep showing the tips for her
It is probably bugged then, reading what other players have to say about it on Reddit! Is it only Huntress you continue to see the tip for?

Interesting thing to know...the loading tips will tell you what Killer your facing lol
Only for the first three or so times you face them.

Because items are essentially a temporary 5th perk slot. You bring a medkit and you have 2 free self cares as long as you use them strategically.
If items are a “temporary 5th perk slot”, then what are add-ons for killer - which don’t expire until the match ends (outside of a few exceptions)?

Like standing in a gate for the full ecg and not leaving?
But you can chase survs out i hear you say.
You can also crawl towards the gates after being slugged.
Edit: That pallet drop perk has actually increased my slugging of people, if you crawl towards a pallet especially if you're the last i might just watch you bleed.
Yeah, you can push the survivors out when the gates are opened.. they will either escape the trial, or be killed. A slugged survivor (without perks to pick themselves up) with the hatch closed and the gates unopened has no such possibilties.
-
Outside of Azarov’s Resting Place, Suffocation Pit, Sanctum of Wrath, and RPD, I always blame survivors for letting a three gen happen. Those maps need to be reworked or deleted, though. They are the most unfun maps in the game for both sides.

Would 110% movement speed be enough? I mean, his power's already super strong, usable at basically every tile with a little bit of thinking, and he's got insane mobility with or without it. Honestly he could be nurse speed and I don't think he'd go down that much in the right hands.
Yeah, it’s pretty inexplicable that he moves at base speed with his power.. and cracked add-ons. More than an add-on nerf, he does need either a lower base speed, or less rush tokens with a longer recharge by default.

If you’re doing nothing the whole game, hide for 10 minutes when there are 2 people left or bm the entire game - I'm leaving you to bleed out. And would still do it if it was bannable
Did OP write anything to suggest they were hiding as one of the last two survivors? Quite the contrary.

To be fair, I don't DC everytime it happens. I wait it out more often than I DC but my point is when I do DC it's usually because of this or similar toxic behaviour.
Sometimes I'd rather DC than give the killer the satisfaction, and other times I walk away and get satisfaction from knowing the killer thinks he's taunting a player when really he's just playing by himself.
I bet they get the biggest satisfaction when you actually DC. Only thing that could top that is if you stuck around for post-game chat.
-
More than that, it would be great if the scoreboard gave a total breakdown of the entire trial. Time spent being chased, totems blessed and cleansed, time spent repairing (solo and co-op), unhooks, etc. etc.
-
@BringShaggytoDBD said:
I rarely rarely DC unless the killer is being extremely toxic and I'm fed up of playing along. Most of the time it's when he slugs the team and refuses to hook us, or will pick us up, let us go and get us down again.
I wish in these circumstances you could DC without punishment but there's no way for the game to tell, so I'm happy waiting 5 minutes and will go grab a drink or look through my phone until I can rejoin.
Uh.. just wanted to point out that the bleed out timer is shorter than the lowest DC timer. You also forgo any earned BP if you DC. So isn’t it better to just wait it out, as scummy as it is? 🤔

Trapper is worse. He can snowball sometimes with Traps but on certain Maps the Traps are clearly visible and can be avoided or disarmed easily. Pig has the Headtraps that can sometimes kill you if youre playing in soloq, cuz people just do gens as they feel like and most importantly, they are always a slowdown. Trapper doesnt have a slowdown, in fact he slows down himself by setting up traps.
Also the fact that STBFL is pretty good on Pig also makes her better than Trapper in my opinion.
Just wanted to point out that a STBFL is also great on Trapper! You may not always be able to guarantee trapping the obsession to save stacks, but can still get stacks out of hitting trapped survivors.
-
Starstruck is the most counterable exposed perk in the game. Skill issue.
-
Cool buff. Same could be applied to showing your aura to the other survivors when you are working on a gen, and another survivor is downed.

Trapper and Clown.

That's not grieving. Because you'll bleed out
You mean it’s not holding him hostage. There is a difference. Leaving him to bleed for four minutes when he could have easily hooked is, in fact, griefing.

what perk counters nurse ?
There are many options. I won’t list them all, but give you ideas.
Obviously an exhaustion perk of your choice (Sprint Burst and Dead Hard being the strongest selections), Distortion (if she has aura reading perks), Calm Spirit (if she has a perk or add-on that makes you scream), Spine Chill, Fixated/Self-Aware, Urban Evasion, Lightweight, Lucky Break, Deception, Quick and Quiet...
-
Yeah, it’s bad for killer. The only saving grace is how campable the main building basement is, and the hook just outside the front of the main building.
-
Half a second is a joke, especially considering how loud Demogorgon is to begin with.

@Ghoste said:
Imo the whole pre-game lobby phase could be skipped. Imagine how much time would be saved. No more dodging, no more waiting to ready up. I wish.
This. Not to mention that lobby dodging messes with the matchmaking process, by trying to fill in replacement players as soon as possible (rather than another similarly ranked survivor or killer).
Survivors have a right to equip items they bought or acquired in a previous trial, without some major prejudice from the killer. Items are part of the game, and flashlights are situational enough as it is that survivors don’t need to face a perk that punishes you just for trying to use the item for its intended purpose.
If you want a sure way to counter flashlights or other items, equip your anti-item perks in advance. Survivors don’t get to consider what killer, add-ons, or perks they may be facing. They can only guess. Same should be true for killer.
-
Pop still helps where it matters most: against gens that are almost completely repaired. It still pairs great with BBQ, Tinkerer, Discordance, and/or Merciless Storm. The issue is that there’s no reason to choose it really, with the availability of stackable regression perks such as Call of Brine - which come with absolutely no downside (no activation requirement or cool down, while also providing information much of the time).
-
We can get rid of last-second switching - as long as we get rid of the outdated, time-wasting pre-game lobby too.
That, and/or nerf Lightborn and Franklin’s to be reasonable perks.

If you DC you should not play this game at all. Perma ban for DCing is the only solution. BHVR are way to soft on these "people"
Hope these “people” never have Internet problems, power outages, real life emergencies, computer crashes, or anything similar. Because, after all, they are “people” - right?

Why wouldn't it fit the perk?
Vigil is about removing time-limited, negative status effects that appear on your HUD. Mending isn’t a part of that category.
-
Just a heads up: you can share the player’s name on YouTube, but sharing it here breaks the name and shame forum rules (doesn’t it?).
-
Just no DC timer penalty period. Because even when I try to get out of the match by letting the killer have me on hook, there’s always one teammate who won’t let me (a teammate other than the Urban Evading Claudette or Mikaela in the corner, of course). Main reason I despise the struggle skill check change to this day.
-
What survivors are hating Garden of Joy?

I literally just played a game with a Myers where I was running OTR. As soon as I got unhooked, it activated and when the Myers tunneled me off hook he was able to instantly down me, while my OTS showed that I still had time left on it. Why didn’t it work? I checked the Myers perks and they were running anything to suggest that my OTR should have been disabled.
Is this a bug? Someone page Mandy please lol
Where the gates powered?
-
It doesn’t seem to fit the perk. Though what I would like to see is Vigil allowing exhaustion recovery while running (at a 33% rate).
Faster mending could easily be added to lower tier healing perks like Solidarity (for mending others) and Resurgence (for mending yourself).
I also don’t see why altruistic mending comes with speed penalties. Those should be removed.

K except you don't realize that unless you tunnel at high level of play you lose
Still haven’t learned to hit the unhooker, have we?
-
Well yeah, as a killer player there’s no reason you wouldn’t like swamp really. Both variants are terrible for survivor. Grim Pantry especially.

They could've got toolboxes from chests
Ok. So say they randomly plundered a toolbox or two, and maybe got a few good sabo plays out of it. That makes them "bullies"? Trying to, you know.. survive?
-
So much back and forth about the least problematic killer in the game.
-
I’m sorry, bully squad? I find it hard to believe that was even a four-man SWF looking at the perks. And you talk about sabotaging, when no one brought any sabo-related perks or even one toolbox?
If you want to camp or whatever fine, but this seems like a lot of projecting without actually seeing the match.

what, i am getting chased for 20 mins and the dude is hiding and waiting for hatch. i kind of have the right to be salty tbh.
Let’s see these 20-minute chases, where teammates won’t get the gens done in the meantime.
-
@Maxitolliony said:
these mf will wait for hatch or bait teammates or whatever, like playing dirty to escape for what? like these people will never trade hits or hooks and just let their teammates die on hook or get hooked on last hook.
why do people bother playing surv if you act like this, its a teamwork side. idk if this is toxic but i always make noise or lead the killer to them cause i want karma to come to them.
play the way you want to be treated, yet everyone thinks for themselves. pain.
“idk if this is toxic but i always make noise or lead the killer to them cause i want karma to come to them.”
Very next sentence: “play the way you want to be treated”

Or at least nerfed/reworked!

I can confirm the Tombstone Piece has not been removed from the game!
But we need the why!
-
Hopefully never.
-
Survivor items and their add-ons (other than medkits at base and maps), have already been nerfed time and again. Meanwhile killers still have Iri Head, Pinky Finger, Tombstone and Tombstone Piece, Alchemist Ring... the list goes on.
Both sides have garbage in the bloodweb. Otherwise people would run the strongest things every time. Why not?
-
You wanna talk about slowdown, the guy gave a 50% speed penalty to asleep survivors; and the only ways to wake up were from an awake teammate (I actually really liked this, it was so thematic of the movies) or failing a skill check. And infinite aura reading on asleep survivors. Not to mention that most survivors were still hiding and scared of being found by the killer in this era of the game.
I don’t think he was as bad as people make him out to be.
-
The stagger from falling from a great height?

P100 Ash: “What now?”

Penalties are off, for one thing.

Yeah sorry but no, your suggested ds isnt an anti tunneling perk, it would go back to being used to attack killers who arent even trying to tunnel.
You get 10 sec of borrowed time with haste, even f you get hit you still get a sprint burst to get away and get to a structure.
The bigger problem is the unhooker, too often now the unhooker bails instead of protecting the person they unhook because they have borrowed time.
No one said DS would not deactivate after 60 seconds or touching objectives anymore. So yeah, it would definitely still be an anti-tunneling perk only.

They’ll have to adapt, and not hardcore tunnel without suffering consequences.
