It's literally changing Dpi on your mouse which has a Dpi switch. ...on said Mouse.. you also need a large ass mousepad Just to DO said flicks which is already hard to do if you don't know how to flick properly.
You said that 360's were exploits. Why haven't BHVR put a warning on those? Same with window techs.
"It's literally changing your dpi" for an unfair advantage unintended by the game developers. 360's are literally spinning your mouse around and stretched res is literally just changing your monitor settings.
What's that I smell? Not quite cow pat, no it's the lovely scent of hypocrisy.

It is NOT A BUG OR A GLITCH. It's just your turn rate of your mouse. Poll Rate is dictated by your computer and you can freely change it. Bug or a Glitch has to do with the game itself. Your Paladins thing has to do with IN-GAME. THAT is an EXPLOIT. "Number of factors but typically involves the argument that the issues are part of the game". It was PART of the GAME itself. Polling Rate is NOT part of the game. It's just your computer settings.
The bug or glitch: the first few frames of the Letal Rush lunge doesn't have a cap on turning.
The exploit: High DPI can cause the Blight to turn much faster than he should be able to.
Was it unintended: Yes, as confirmed by McLean.
Does it give an in-game advantage: Yes.
So it's an exploit.
Though if this isn't an exploit, stretched res isn't one either. It's just your monitor settings and has nothing to do with the game, so if you're okay with this then you have to be okay with SR for the same reason.

@GoodBoyKaru This is the definition for exploit in gaming: In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.[1] Exploits have been classified as a form of cheating;[citation needed] however, the precise determination of what is or is not considered an exploit can be controversial. This debate stems from a number of factors but typically involves the argument that the issues are part of the game and require no changes or external programs to take advantage of them.
That is NOT an exploit since its just the polling rate of the mouse itself and not a part of the game. Also, here is the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_exploit#:~:text=In%20video%20games%2C%20an%20exploit,intended%20by%20the%20game's%20designers. There you go. THAT'S the definition and I watched that stream with McLean. It is neither an exploit nor a cheat. You're not using a program to mess with the games' files.
It's the abuse of a bug or glitch to gain an in-game advantage not intended by the developers. That's LITERALLY an exploit my guy, you just told me it was right there. It doesn't say anywhere in that definition that you need to use a third party to exploit it, it states that you abuse a bug or a glitch.
Was the exploit in Paladins where you could heal your entire team at once as Seris without the talent "The Void Abides" not an exploit because you didn't need a third party software to do so? No, it was an exploit and patched accordingly.
This is exactly the same.

Dwight, Meg, Feng, Jake, Nea, Yui, Claudette, Jake, David, Kate, Jane, Felix, Zarina, Elodie.
There has been more than enough chance. Yui could have been Indian, My not Felix? etc etc
Afaik (this was off the top of my head do correct me if I'm wrong):
Dwight, Kate, and Meg are American
Feng is Chinese
Jake is Korean-American
Nea is Swedish
Yui is Japanese
Claudette is Canadian
David is British
Jane is
HispanicLatin-AmericanFelix is German
Zarina is Lebanese American
Elodie is French Madagassian
Ace is Argentinian from Italian descent
Adam is Jamaican
Jeff is Canadian (with Norweigan roots)
Yun-Jin Lee is Korean
This seems like a pretty diverse cast, does it not?
Like Orion said, give them time. They'll create one eventually, just like most other nationalities.
"But why not have Yui be Indian-" why have her be Indian instead of Japanese? What makes being Indian better than Japanese and what makes it work in her backstory more? Yui's lore is often regarded as one of the best in the game, why would making her Indian over Japanese improve this?
It's the same with all of the cast, why make them Indian instead of their current nationality? Why would that improve their backstory?
-
An exploit is still an exploit, no matter what the other side can do. That's like justifying cheating by saying "Yeah but the other side were cheating too-" no. That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works. The phrase "two wrong's don't make a right" rings true here, though alternatively you could look to the Just War Theory, and one of the principles of 'Jus in Bellum' - just because the enemies broke the criteria doesn't mean you can.
It is an exploit. It should be fixed.

Bubba with Bamboozle. He chews through pallets legitimaty faster than any other killer and leaves the entire team with no protection. That wrecks most teams because normally predrop-and-W gives them a minute or two more to work with, but unless the Bubba is going agasint a really good team then it's a pretty easy win.

I know other people have brought it up but the sheer amount of solo nerfs here makes it all a hard no from me. A video game is that first and foremost-a game- and games should be fun.
If you want an immersive horror experience, a single player game is much better suited to your needs, or maybe even Phasmophobia idk never played it. However due to the actual core gameplay loop of dbd, these changes would put the final nail in the coffin for solo survivor and solidify it as the worst experience in DBD.
You did say these changes would change the game but then it wouldn't be Dead By Daylight anymore. It'd be something completely different.
-
Either works- 3 survivors in one trial or 3 different survivors in 3 different trials. So long as you're in the trial when they escape, even if you die later on, you get +1 to the challenge.
Edit: I've just properly re-read your question and it's the first one- 3 survivors need to escape whilst you're still in the trail, over the course of as many trials as you need. You don't need to have 3 survivors escape before you in 3 different trials, thankfully.

I ended up buying Inner Strength but I always have trouble finding totems, Small game helps you find them? I didn't realize that, thank you so much :)
Not replying to me but I'll answer it anyway:
Small Game's effect is that it makes a little "ding" whenever you look at a totem or trap every I think 15 seconds. Another perk to help find totems is "Detective's Hunch" (Detective Tapp, level 35), and whenever a generator is completed this perk shows the aura of all nearby totems, gens, and chests.
-
No, we usually don't get an announcement until it literally releases, at which point the Chapter spotlight gets uploaded. So, no clue thusfar.

Just saying, jumpscare Mr X? There's one moment (talking about the 2make here) where he punches through a wall but asides from that he's not exactly the epitome of stealth. His footsteps echoing around the place makes it so atmospheric and scary, after all.

Wow a single video this proves so much.
https://youtu.be/ePivwlAWp30This video here clearly shows Spirit is underpowered and deserpately needs a buff to make her viable.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu3X5o9GpjYAnd this one shows that The Game isn't survivor sided and needs further buffs to be stronger to Survivors.
https://youtu.be/4UWwZic_OsgBut this one shows that Speed Limiter Bubba is completely unbeliably overpowered and BHVR needs to nerf it immidiately if not sooner.
One video can be used to prove whatever you want it to. Plus, that Spirit was atrocious.

Can't help but think you might be exaggerating a little... You realise no SWF team would run 4 Prove Thyself... Like... Ever. I can believe you got Midwich and an OoO SWF team but I'm not buying the whole story... All 4 spawned on the opposite side of the map from you, teabagging... But then they supposedly got 2 gens done by the time you got 3 hooks... So were they gen rushing you or were they Midwich/OoO trolling you? Pick one... It doesn't work both ways like that... Unless you're playing like an #########. Too much about this rant smells like BS to me.
You need to learn to re-read the post.
1) I literally faced this team, there were 4 Prove Thyselves. With builds like this you don't need the bets game knowledge you just need W, shift, and M1.
2) They got 2 gens by the time I'd walked around the map. By the timr the game was over was when I had around 3 hooks.
"It's not until 30 seconds pass and they're already done 2 generators do I realise; this is practically unwinnable.
So we reach the end of the game with me having a grand total of around 3 hooks, because again Speed Limiter."
It truly is amazing what reading things properly can do for a person.
3) It smells like BS because you've managed to misread a large chunk of my statement, but just in case you can't read it properly even with it highlighted in bold and italicised I'll summarise the events here:
-See 4 Midwich offerings to counter a Sac Ward.
-Load in, see 4 OOO tbagging. They're upstairs, I'm downstairs.
-They get straight on a gen, 2 to each gen. I find a staircase and go upstairs.
-I make my way to them, 2 gens pop. Then the W begins.
-I go for survivor 1, getting 1 hit with the saw (speed Limiter) and then they vault a window downstairs by the staircase so I cancel. Drop the god pallet, hold w.
-I catch survivor 1. 2 more gens have popped.
-Hook survivor 1 and see survivor 2 be an absolute numpty and get in a locker nearby. Attempt to bait the non-existent head on for a moment before grabbing. Hook 2.
-I go for survivor 3 because I don't want to camp people. They hold W, survivor 1 goes into second stage. Survivor 4 finishes the last gen and saves survivor 1 and 2. Survivor 2 has not yet entered struggle.
-Survivor 3 is doing a good job at baiting saws before dropping down or dropping pallets so I don't manage to down them.
-They run to the gates and escape.
-The End.

Ah okay, I don't have Spirit and I tried to play as Nurse one time and so bad haha. Thank you for your help :) but what is NOED? I've seen it mentioned alot but don't know what it is lol
NOED is a shortened version of the perk Hex: No One Escapes Death (hence the NOED). It activates when the exit gates are powered (not necessarily when all gens are done) and gives the killer a 2%/3%/4% boost to movement speed and all survivors are "Exposed" - one shot.
The way to disable the perk is to cleanse the associated hex totem (which will be glowy and seen around the map). However, it's possible to disable it before it reaches the endgame by cleansing all 5 dull totems too (something the community loves to oversimplify with the phrase 'do bones') before the gates are powered.
This can be a massive issue in solo due a lack of coordination and if the killer doesn't have NOED, effectively wasting minutes at a time doing nothing. However with Inner Strength, there's a viable reason to be cleansing the totems that doesn't stem form something the killer may-or-may-not have and your teammates may-or-may-not be attempting to counter too; you can heal yourself up too.

Also, I've heard alot about the perk Spine Chill. I used it once but it didn't really help me. But I probably didn't know what I was doing either lol
That's okay! Spine Chill lights up when the killer is looking at you. Against regular killers, like Trapper or Doctor, it won't be the most helpful, but against stealthy killers like Ghost Face, Wraith, Pig, and even more so Myers ("The Shape") it's a life saver. It let's you know when the killer is approaching you, hence why against stealthy killers it's good, and gives you an early warning to GTFO. It's also helpful if the killer uses Tinkerer (removes your red stain, heartbeat, and ability to be seen with aura perks for 12/14/16 seconds when a generator reaches 70%) as they're effectively a stealth killer whilst under it's effect.
But like a lot of perks, it depends entirely on your playstyle. For example as I so eloquently put it, "I don't use Spine Chil because I have eyes and ears, and because if it's a Deathslinger I'll be raging anyway so I might as well put the silent terror radius on", however some people I know like the perk and the counterplay it offers. Especially to Spirit and Deathslinger (cause ohhh boy do they need it but that's a topic for another thread).

Thank you so much, that really helps!! I just bought Inner Strength :) what are some other good perks for both sides that aren't in the Shrine right now?
That all depends on personal preference but I can give you some of my favourite perks that I use depending on the killer:
KILLER
-I'm All Ears ("The Ghost Face", level 30)
-Hex: Ruin ("The Hag", level 35)
-Corrupt Intervention ("The Plague", level 30)
-Infectious Fright ("The Plague", level 35)
-Hex: Undying ("The Blight", level 40)
-Pop Goes The Weasel ("The Clown, level 40).
Out of all of those, I think Corrupt and Pop are the two most consistent and valuable perks.
SURVIVORS
-Decisive Strike (Laurie Strode, level 40)
-Object Of Obsession (Laurie Strode, level 35)
-Iron Will (in shrine)
-We're Gonna Live Forever (David King, level 30)
-Dead Hard (David King, level 35)
-Sprint Burst (Meg Thomas, level 35)
-Adrenaline (Meg Thomas, level 40)
-Prove Thyself (Dwight Fairfield, level 35)
Right now my survivor build is Iron Will, We're Gonna Live Forever, Prove Thyself, and Decisive Strike.
It's worth noting that Object Of Obsession is an incredibly hated perk and often seen as toxic, so using it may get you camped/tunneled a lot more than usual.
It's also worth noting some of these perks have anti-synergy together (such as Dead Hard and Sprint Burst, or Hex:Ruin and Pop). It's just something to take into account.
Finally there are definitely some good perks that just aren't meta- Fixated (Nancy Wheeler, level 35) and Autodidact (Adam Francis, level 40) are some of my personal favourites. It's about experimenting and finding something that works for you.

I was wondering, are the current shrine perks worth getting? I was thinking of getting Inner Strength but wasn't sure, I've heard alot about Stridor also. I'm still kinda new and don't know which perks are the best to use, I play both survivor and killer. This is my first post, hope I'm doing this right haha. Hope everyone's has a great weekend 😊
100% Inner Strength, it's such a good survivor perk and incredibly helpful in both countering NOED and making sure you're nice and healed. Plus, it's from a DLC character "Nancy Wheeler" (from the Stranger Things DLC) and can only be obtained with money, so definitely go for that one.
Iron Will, too, is another incredibly solid perk. If they aren't using Stridor, it's one of the biggest counters for "The Spirit", as well as being good in almost every situation. You can hide better and pull off much better mindgames because you make substantially less noise. This, imo, is a must-have for survivor games in the higher ranks, when you're much more comfortable playing injured so healing perks like Inner Strength have less value. However, as it's on a base character "Jake Park", prioritise Inner Strength first.
Stridor is only really useful on one killer- "The Spirit"- and it's arguably her best (and most obnoxious) perk. It's a very strong perk that counters Iron Will, and allows you to track survivors easier, however I'd suggest not using it when you're newer, as then you'll become reliant on it for tracking, which isn't ideal. As it's from a base character "The Nurse", I'd still say to focus on Inner Strength over this.
Agitation is... well, it's not a bad perk per-say, but it's not a good perk either, definitely not on the strength of the other three. This would be your last pick.
A list of the order I'd get these perks:
1) Inner Strength (strong effect, DLC character)
2) Iron Will/Stridor (strong effect, base character, pick one or the other depending on which side you play more, or who you're more likely to level up first, Jake or Nurse).
3) Agitation (average/lackluster effect, base character).
