That "random" high pitched noise can mean one of two things depending on which high pitched noise you mean. It either means that you've used your final charge, or that all charges have been regained

No, that’s exactly what happened. I was in a chase, and the Claudette just ran into my POV, so I chased her instead (she was fully healed) around the shack a time or two, then she popped in a locker. I pulled her out, she DS’ed me, & ran away like a bolt of lightning unharmed. I have a screenshot, but I play on console, & don’t record my games. So there’s that. I reported it after the match, but console doesn’t give any options for describing the event, just general report conditions.

Back in the days there was no EGC and once there was only 1 person left IF the team had completed 2 generators or more the Hatch would spawn, also it couldnt be closed.
Now if there was no hatch and the only thing left for the last 1 was to fix any number of gens (which is almost impossible) nothing would stop the last Survivor to go full inmersion until the Killer found him or decided to quit, finding a full inmersion Survivor can take A LOT of time, we are talking about 45 minutes so they put the hatch to give the last Survivor an objective and to avoid a situation where a side cant realistcally win and its only chance is to troll the other out of the game with a DC.
Not only was it difficult to find the fully immersed survivor, but let's not forget about the Hatch Standoff:tm:. A survivor and a killer would sit on the Hatch, staring at each other. Doing nothing but watching, waiting for the other to get bored.
If the survivor were to jump, the killer could grab. Were the killer to hit, the survivor could jump.
It was genuinely atrocious and I think Marth was in a Standoff for over 2 hours lol.

Also, what argument did you give (asides from calling me dumb, which I refuted and can give you some grades to back it up if you want) that haven't been discussed earlier? Sure, make EGC start after the third survivor dies, at which point feel free to also rework the 4 achievements and even more Archive Challenges related to the Hatch, however then what balance issues would that bring? Which killers would be too overbearing and, also, it wouldn't stop slugging for the 4k.
The reason people slug for the 4k is because a 3k + Hatch couldn't possibly be a win- no, no, that's far too ludicrous! So long as the 4th survivor has a chance at escaping, people will keep slugging for the 4k to prevent said escape. It's the tragic reality, but it's true. Removing the Hatch and making EGC start at the death of the third survivor solves nothing and instead creates a mountain of issues which, considering how the devs can't introduce a new killer without making it so Hex: Ruin literally does not function, would probably end up with Star Wars: Return of the Hill Bug, Pyramid Head being able to cancel his Rights of Judgement in 0.2s provided you've used your ability for 2 seconds, the Huntress losing her lullaby radius, and Space Billy 2: Electric Boogaloo.
So again, try again. I'll give you a little hint; instead of going for the Southern Hemisphere, try Europe. You'll land significantly closer, I pinky promise xx

It's because of a couple of reasons:
-rancor is rarely seen
-it only works on one person
-that person knows they're the rancor target
-it doesn't carry bad players
-you won't 4man slug after you've been out ran all game, cause again, only works on one survivor

My current build is DS/WGLF/IW/PT, and I don't see that changing. Only perk I'd swap would be PT for something else but considering how everyone continually underestimates this perk and how absolutely bullshit op it is, it's probably gonna stay for a bit.
DS is there to make sure I don't get tunneled, and I'm going to keep it to make sure I still don't get tunneled.

I doubt anyone in their right mind would go to court with "I saw Streamer X streaming the gameplay footage of [DATE, TIME] with me in it and demand a trial."

I hate that someone brought this back because this is honest to god the only way you're escaping a trial vs my Pyramid Head- pre-drop a pallet and run.
And it makes for such incredibly stale gameplay on both sides.
The fun part comes from a good PH who will actually attempt to hit you through walls and succed a lot of the time. That's a battle of prediction v prediction, reflex v reflex, and skill v skill. It's incredibly fun, and a massive shame that people just don't play like that as him because that's so much fun to do!!
Alas, now that people have realised you just gotta pre-drop-and-W and this has been brought back so more people can see it, more people are just gonna W key it 😔

You do realise that A Binding Of Kin (Twins chapter) wasn't delayed and made the game unplayable with the sheer volume of bugs it brought?
You also realise the 'Known Issues' list on the PTB would've ALSO made this game so incredibly unplayable. Hex:Ruin literally didn't function, grabbing someone as Nurse could render you immobile for the rest of the trial, Demo didn't get killer instinct and Victor would get stuck in the basement.
Here you go man, you've earned it.

but you choose when to use it for distance, unlike all other exhaustion perks with the exception of a 99'ed sprint burst, which even then can be cheesed out.

You don't need to high road me, it's great that they do those things but if they cared that much they would become a charity or NGO and I'm not giving them a point for treating workers fairly ALL companies should strive for that. We don't. It's server-sided so we can only trust the words of the devs; we can't go into the game files and look at it. We don't know how it works, only that it's 'random' except for when the perks are needed for a tome challenge or as a joke (see April Fools 2020, god that feels like it was genuinely a decade ago).

After unlinking I also lost everything. Every single purchase I made with shards and cells from 3 years to now are gone. I highly doubt that I could get them back. I lose faith in this company day by day.

This is something I keep seeing a lot so let me address this now.
BHVR is, unfortunately for all of us, one of the most respectable game development companies in the world. Through surveys completed by the Canadian government and other external entities, they're easily ranked as one of the best games companies, which give their workers actual holiday, complementary hot meals on-site, and a genuine fair wage people can live off.
Furthermore, they often donate to their local community efforts, particularly with the BLM movement, during Pride month, and the current issues around Asian Hate Crimes.
Subsequently, they often have costs much higher than a different studio of their average size, and considering a lot of their games are F2P mobile games, DBD is their one main source of revenue.
Also, why must they stick to a track? It's working just fine to be able to earn DLC characters for free, or pay for them. It's working perfectly okay so far.
Also, would you rather the DLCs remain cheaper, and cosmetics + rift stay pretty expensive (considering you can earn the entire rift back), or have DLCs be free and the cosmetics + rift even more expensive, or have the cosmetics be cheaper with the DLCs expensive? Because its one of these three options, due to their commitment to being, you know, decent people.
