Considering this thread is still going on over 100 pages, I'd say quite a few people

Here's the effects I'd give to his Ultra Rare, Very Rare, and Rare add-ons.
Obsidian Goblet- Now applies Tormet upon a successful Punishment of the Damned hit.
(Previously gave Undetectable while standing in a trail)
Iridescent Seal of Metatron- Rights of Judegement no longer spawns Restricted Trail Elements.
(Previously revealed all tormented survivors for 6 seconds after a cage)
Crimson Ceremony Book- While channeling Rights of Judgement, or standing in a Torment Trail, gain the Undetectable status effect.
(Previously gave Haemmorage upon inflicting Torment)
Lost Memories Book- A tormented survivor also suffers from the Hindered status effect for 5 seconds (15% Hindered).
(Previously gave Oblivious upon standing in a trail for 15 seconds)
Rust Coloured Egg- Punishment of the Damned now breaks dropped Pallets and Breakable Walls.
(Previously gave Blindness upon standing in a trail for 60 seconds)
Scarlet Egg- Using Punishment of the Damned on an upright pallet will drop that pallet.
(Previously increased Killer Instinct duration by 1.5 seconds)
Burning Man Painting- Remains the same (+1.5m to Punishment of the Damned)
Mannequin Foot- Increases the trail cap by +50.
(Previously increased duration the trail would stick in the environment by 20 seconds)
Misty Day, Remains of Judgement- Increases Killer Instinct duration by 1.5s
(Previously increased Killer Instinct duration by 1s)
Tablet of the Oppressor- Now applies Haemmorage and Mangled upon being hit by Punishment of the Damned.
(Previously increased Rights of Judgement duration by 2s)
Valtiel Sect Photograph- Increases Punishment of the Damned movement speed by 15%. Rights of Judgement must be 50% charged before it can be used.
All yellow and brown add-ons follow the pattern of the greens just with less percentage.
-
Any killer with any add-ons using Hex: The Third Seal, Hex: Undying, and Knock Out.
On either Lerys, The Game, Mother's Dwelling, or Raccoon City Police Department.
Vs solos, of course.

Yes, it should be lowered to help it, however the core issues with the optimisation have to be addressed. Graphics can only be lowered so far.

Rainbow Demo?
I need to see this.
As for the topic, if they added Legacy-esque textures to post-Legacy characters, it defeats the entire point of Legacy items.
I'd post it but mods aren't allowed on the forums but you may be able to find it on Twitter if you find Angelicus' profile. I'd direct you there but I don't know if I can.

Also known as how many lazy legacy mods can we put into one post

Tomes I don't think so- though there should definitely be shards in the Rift in the empty spots on the Free track (and also replace some awful charms in the Premium one too tbf). Dailies could do with a whole overhaul, something like this:
- Each day spawns 3 new, random challenges. At least one is guaranteed to be for survivor and killer.
- Any dailies from the previous day are removed.
- Dailies are more likely to spawn for a character you have a higher level with (for example, I'm more likely to get a daily for my P350 Executioner than my P035 Clown).
- Two dailies (the ones guaranteed for each side) award bloodpoints for completion, like currently. The one other daily is much harder- something like "Sacrifice 12 survivors" or "Stun the killer 5 times"- but can be completed universally across all characters of a certain role. Completing this daily awards Iridescant Shards.
- Completing all 3 dailies unlocks a "Weekly Challenge", which is significantly grindier to do. This can be for either survivor or killer, or even both, and has multiple tasks. (For example, one could be "Send a survivor to a Cage of Atonement as The Executioner 6 times, repair the equivalent of 3 generators as Claudette Morel, and sacrifice 48 survivors."). Completing a Weekly Challenge awards bloodpoints, Shards, and a small amount of Auric Cells.

But that's basing the terminology of those DLCs solely on the time they released and not what is contained within them. Which is rather silly in my opinion. I'm sure none of us would care if this was called a paragraph, despite the fact that it is released normally when a "chapter" is.
But considering how the developers no longer use the term "Paragraph" I don't see why they'd suddenly bring it back for Pinhead?
As can be seen below, Left Behind is unofficially renamed Chapter 3.5 to fit in with Leatherface and Ash vs Evil Dead.
Leatherface being Chapter 5.5 after having been renamed.
And Ash Vs Evil Dead having always been known as Chapter 11.5, since this was released after the decision was made.
-
Actually, that's not quite true. A Paragraph is released between the regular chapter schedule (ie. Ash vs Evil Dead Paragraph was released between Demise of the Faithful Chapter and Ghost Face Chapter). Ghost Face was released on the regular chapter schedule, and so is called a Chapter, and it is the same case with Pinhead.

Its not only about the forum. But the private messages/profile comments that we get.
When i play survivor, i maybe get 1 toxic message from a killer per year.
When i play killer, i get a comment on my profile in half of my matches. Hell, i even got toxic messages, when the game didn´t load and ended in the scorescreen.
God I wish that was the same experience for me.
I've had a lot more killers send me toxic messages in endgame chat than survivors- though I will admit survivors like going to profiles more.

Or you're just wrong in your OP.
-
I hate facing Trapper, Legion, and Clown. Please tell me with a straight face they are strong.
I enjoy facing a Nurse, provided she doesn't Infectious slug at 5 gens vs solos. Please tell me she is weak.
I hate NOED, facing and using, but a lot of people will say it's not a strong perk.
I hate Hawkins and RPD for both sides, which are they therefore strong for?
I despise playing killer on Saloon and yet people regard it as killer sided.
Your logic has... a few holes in. No offence.

Also miss your older posts with the cute cows. Hope your doing ok :)

Send everything the survivors have to 2016/2017 DBD and maybe it could work
-
As an unfortunate member of l'homosexual counsel (they cannot get rid of me) I have the authority to say this opinion is wrong.
-
I like to use Autodidact, Borrowed Time, Iron Will, and We're Gonna Live Forever. I usually use a medkit with 2 heals (so Yellow with +8 charges, or Green with +16 charges).
Autodidact is there because I usually get a lot of heals off and it really becomes noticable.
Borrowed Time is there because, well I think it's fairly obvious.
Iron Will is there both as a comfort perk, and to allow me to sneak in and help out when I don't have the time or the ability to heal myself.
We're Gonna Live Forever is there for the bonus 100% healing speed but mostly for comfort.
Shoutout to Bite The Bullet, which I'd use if I wasn't so attached to WGLF.

The problem is that is ok for one side to play optimal its just doing objectives but if the other side does it its toxic
correct me if im wrong but do we not get "toxic genrushing SWF" and "toxic tunneling killers" at least 7 times a day on these forums?
-
Idk man when you're at 5 gens and you feel the need to do this Insidious
And then proceed to continue to chase after one survivor despite three others willingly placing themselves in front of a Leatherface's saw and you don't use it on them because this one survivor- who didn't tbag, click, or do anything except go down within 45 seconds- for some reason has to die, to the point where you slug them for 3 and a half minutes to ""avoid DS"" while nodding the whole time, and literally allow other survivors to do gens in your face so long as they're not healing your precious slug...
Doesn't seem like you're in the mood to win, moreso in the mood to ruin someone's session.
-
@SilentPill said:
The survivor gets to see where the plaything totem spawns? That’s dumb and makes it instantly terrible.
But yes it could be interesting to have a bunch of blind and oblivious survivors running around an indoor map. Won’t help against SWF though so it would mainly be to mess with solo Q teams.
They see where their own personal totem is when within 16m of it, and for the first 90 seconds of being cursed only that survivor can cleanse it, as far as I understand.
-
I've hated the perk since the Billy rework I just can't be asked to make a post about it.

-
Huntress with a decent Internet connection is great.
A bad but not awful pyramid head is amazing because I can read them like a book and they won't end up doing something so omega brain I'd never have expected it.
Billy's are fun so long as they hook people and don't infectious slug at 5 gens, same can be said for Nurse.
Bubba is pretty fun until I get a map with literally nothing on or I'm in soloq.
A chasing Wraith, yes. A hit and run Wraith, no. And no that's not because chasing Wraith is weaker its because I get to interact with the killer for more than 0.4 seconds.
Demo is a good pupper and deserves lots of pats
-
David King except the Entity gave him booty shorts.
Or no shorts at all.
And no boxers either.
The same goes for Pyramid Head, actually.
-
Oh my god yes! He's a very good killer if played well due to the ability to reduce loops to dust, and you can also do really fun things with him, like this:
https://youtu.be/0U1k10I-zG4I actually made a text guide on how I think is the best way to play him.
@GoodBoyKaru said:
So a few attentive people may recognise this from a comment I made yesterday (technically it was 24 minutes into today but let's not talk semantics). A couple of people suggested I make it a real post because "That's an excellent guide, very well put together." So, here I am. I've added a few more things so it's still worth a read.
This will cover what is, in my opinion, his best build and why, as well as a few tips on playing him & a few videos.
So hey, it's me- GoodBoyKaru, your friendly neighbourhood Pyramid Head main- here to give some swift Tips and Tricks(tm) to help make you a better Pyramid Head player!
For the record, this was made during DBD Patch 4.7.2
Build
PERKS
My personal favourite and imho strongest build is this:
- Corrupt Intervention
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5A01IV8RME2M/image.png
Crucial early-game slowdown on a killer without mobility, allows him to stall the game massively because survivors know that if they get found they're doomed.
- Pop Goes The Weasel
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/FHA7ZFNAKVZY/image.png
It's the second best gen regression perk in the game, Ruin is too volatile to be anywhere near reliable on him because, again, no movement speed, he needs gen perks because he cannot move around the map quick enough, 11/10. "But you don't hook pe-" WRONG. You should be getting plenty of value out of PGTW and if you're overcaging then you're taking your map pressure and throwing it out the window.
- Barbeque and Chili
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SC8THLXSY3RP/image.png
Now, you could obviously put other perks here like Infectious Fright (amazing snowball), Tinkerer (Undetectable is nice and it helps tell you where to go but again no movement speed) or Discordance (amazing info, can sometimes do nothing about it). However I say BBQ because I like the perk and also because bloodpoints.
- I'm All Ears
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/V90CSL0I44NO/image.png
Hands down the best perk in the game for Pyramid Head, that's six seconds of wallhacks. I cannot stress how valuable this is with his power- that is a guaranteed free hit in 9/10 situations. To show what I mean, I've linked a timestamped video below of where IAE comes in so clutch- continues to 5:16 in the video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJs4rvkppqs&t=296s
(you can watch the whole thing if you really want I'm proud of the game).
An honourable mention here goes to Ruin/Undying over Pop/Corrupt. As I've mentioned before, Tinkerer isn't a great perk on him due to his lack of speed, but the same goes for Ruin/Undying. You don't have the map mobility to defend your totems, especially if they spawn further away, and you'll probably end up losing two perks before 2 gens go. Corrupt/Pop is just more consistent in my experience.
ADD-ONS
So, his add-ons aren't great. The best ones, by far, are range add-ons which, when combined, extend his POTD by up to 2.5m (10.5m total). These are Burning Man Painting (Rare), Wax Doll (Uncommon), and Black Strap (Common), which ass +1.5m, +1m, and +0.5m respectively.
tips
Okay so rule number one is to not break pallets. Sounds weird but, just trust me.
His power is incredibly strong in a chase- so much so that if a survivor commits to an animation they die. If you don't break pallets (with some exceptions like God pallets) you can do amazing things. Because who doesn't want more opportunities to win a chase, like, instantly? It turns incredibly safe pallets into death sentences
To show what I mean, here's another timestamped clip. Ends at 10:58
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu3X5o9GpjY&t=646s
Learn the range of the power. 8m is specific and sometimes you think you can hit things and you can't. You need to be very careful, especially when playing with range add-ons for so long, because it can and will screw with your perception.
Adapt to the survivors you're facing. A lot of players will fake taking an animation, go to the side slightly to bait your POTD or your cancel, and then commit to the animation. If you turn to the side and release, you'll catch a lot of these survivors out and get a hit. It's really satisfying to do. Alternatively some survivors will commit to the animations regardless, in which case you'll know to aim in the centre. Other survivors will just hold W and pre-drop pallets, in which case you know to leave them because you'll really struggle catching up, or do not use your power.
I cannot stress that enough. If a survivor is pre-dropping W key gaming, do not use your power. M1 killer them.
Don't overcage and don't stress about torment. If a survivor loops you, they'll get tormented. That's just kinda how it works- you stick your knife in, follow them around a loop, and release your POTD after tracking their movements.
To see what I mean we return to the first video, again timestamped. Clip ends at 1:36.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJs4rvkppqs&t=83s
See how I hug the car, turn the camera and use the power to hit him out of animation lock? Had he kept running, easy torment too.
In my opinion, only cage someone in one of four scenarios:
- You're afraid of a DS (just please don't tunnel I'm begging you)
- You're afraid of an Unbreakable (much more likely)
- You can immidiately get into another chase
- It would place you into a Pressure Point Of No Return (name pending).
What I mean by that last point is that there comes a time in a DBD game where the killer will hit a Pressure Point Of No Return, where the survivors physically cannot come back from the amount of pressure and momentum you're building. The best example of this as Pyramid Head is where you split the map through cages. You have two downed survivors. Cage one, hook the other. Nobody is on a generator, you have a BBQ proc to interrupt the person saving the cage or the hook, and now the last person must save both people. On especially large maps, like Mother's Dwelling, or multi-storied ones, like Midwich, this can force people into second stage and you've won the game at 5 gens. It's more common than you'd think.
If you cage at other times you're probably wasting pressure you could've gotten from a hook.
Learn where you can and can't lay trails. In front of totems and lockers? Amazing. In front of a gen? Not at all, it becomes a Restricted Trail Element and disappears after a few seconds. The DBD Wiki has a section on this which I'll just paste below.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2808XTGCLSHV/image.png
I'd highly, highly suggest reading the wiki page on his power as it's really useful in understanding the fundamentals and giving actual values to words. Here it is:
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Pyramid_Head
Finally, learn where you can and can't use POTD. It sounds like a simple thing but learning where you can and can't use it, however there's a lot to it. For example, learning how vertical changes affect it. Did you know if you release his power on a slope going up it'll fail, same with releasing it on a slope going down. However, if you're barely off of the slope it'll travel down it, but only if it isn't too steep.
It's nuts but knowing where you can and can't actually have an ability is, funnily enough, pretty important.
A few more quick-fire tips:
- Don't just go for animation lock shots. People expect these and adapt. Be unpredictable to catch them off guard and get easy hits. Like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U1k10I-zG4&feature=emb_logo
Bet they didn't expect that one :p
Needless to say that was where I hit a Pressure Point Of No Return and poor Jakey couldn't pick up the scraps.
- Don't spam his power. You waste too much time. Be precise, predict, and adapt to your opponents.
- Don't spam his trails. You move at 110% and you already lack a movement ability, you waste too much time.
- Tunneling isn't the best strategy. I know it seems like it because cages but again, you do not have a movement ability. Survivors can and will facefuck generators and ruin your day substantially.
- Dead Dawg Saloon and Hawkins are both maps you never press M2 on ever. Play like a default M1 killer because the map design prevents you from using your power. They're pretty much auto-loss maps, ngl, unless the survivors really badly mess up.
- Play survivor. Learn where survivors move and how they path, shoot POTD to hit them. That's what I did in that last clip.
And, yeah, that's about it. If people have any questions please let me know and I'll try to answer them as best I can, though I think this is comprehensive enough.
It was made for patch 4.7.2 but nothing has really changed since then

yes, I do give this information to the correct departments and they've also seen the videos that Pulsar posted which highlighted many of the issues very clearly.
And with the comments re Devs not responding on here, that is technically my job. The forum is a Community forum after all and the Developers that drop by here are mostly on their own time (except for QA who are here, locked in the bug report section). We occasionally get a couple of game designers dropping by, again that is on their own time and of course the issues discussed in this thread, are nothing to do with game design.
Also as a member of the Community Team (I'm a Community Coordinator), it's my specific job to bring up issues, feedback etc to the team as well as give as much information as I can to the Community. Sadly I can't share details of when fixes will go live, but I can share that the team are actively working on numerous "hitches" including the one with Dead Hard.
Edited to add - can we also please not derail the thread with cute pics, it does kinda make light of this issue that consoles are having and also bloats the thread :( Sorry to be a killjoy....but I do think this thread is important.

I'm directly asking the people that make the rules if it's allowable within the game's rules/what they would consider fair play.
I have no problem abiding by their answer, either way, when they choose to reply.
It's a simple question about the game rules and mechanics, so I'm sure I won't need to wait too long for a reply.
then all you should have to do is look here for your answer?????

-
If it wasn't it would've been patched out, same with camping, tunneling, etc. Exactly what happened to true facecamping.
Is it at all fun, fair, and gives the other side a chance to react? No, but from this post I'm guessing you just want to make a statement to the devs as if we haven't been complaining about this for years.
-
Tinkerer is my least favourite killer perk in the game for a reason, kicking out NOED which has held that spot since November 2017.
Though, the strongest part about Tinkerer is the information it gives. Limit it to one proc per generator and I'm perfectly fine with it.

TL;DR survivors are ruining the game by pressing crouch repeatedly and running around obstacles multiple times.
