It wasn't funny anyway. Don't trouble yourself.
Great thing humour is subjective and what's unfunny to one person (you) isn't automatically unfunny to every other person

Oh all the time :)
One that I remember quite well is me as Wraith, then with a key. So all 4 of them are running to hatch with me cloaked following behind. Number 1 jumps through hatch after a few tbags...
...and I close it in the rest of their faces.
Everyone was on death hook. Only one escape that game :)
Another I remember is as Pyramid Head, though this is a lot shorter. Pallet stun. Clicky clicky tbag. Runs to the left, right into my Punishment of the Damned. Dc.
Also as PH, and I have an actual clip of this, Jake decided he'd tbag me all game. First time he went down was in about 6 seconds. Second time I found him was a longer chase, but I got him through a wall in House of Pain and he DCd.

in my opinion devs should just told comminity that lack of survivors is a licence issue( and no i dont mean any detal or something like that)
they should always try to get content for boths sides, i know one think killer q tieams will be match longer for a while sicne survivors has nothing to test out this "chapter"
Ah, the joys of legal contracts and NDAs being a massive middle finger to anything and ensuring the only thing we can ever do is speculate

I respect your opinion but can you maybe not try mention last part.....anytime someone does in Slenderman threads it takes a 180 turn and thread turns wacked.
But, like, it's a massive part of the stigma surrounding the character? How can someone not bring it up when it's what a lot of minds default to
-

Exactly the reason I am very confused. No canon background of him and in some versions he does interact and touch people........its very odd.
Know what else no canon background means? Licencing nightmares! Original creators can claim copyright infringement over the designs, calling the character Slenderman gets a claim from Blumhouse, but calling it Slender gets one from the game maker, it's a minefield of potential lawsuits and would be a very risky addition for a character where original would be better since there's absolutely zero power that can be gleaned from the non-existent canon
-
Entirely depends on if you want the Slender creepypasta, the Slender games, the Slender Media project, or the Slender movie. For some reason.
There is no canon storyline or background or behaviour for this character, because there is no canon for this character full stop.

What's worse is when i play survivor without iron will, and then i get hit, probably like 25% of the time i randomly just "get" iron will for like a minute or 2 for no reason.
I think from testing this with a friend this bug is entirely client sided. When I'm silent, my friend can still hear me, and when my friend thinks I'm silent I can hear myself.
Rather unfortunately, this is the case for the killer as well. I can be making noise however I will be silent to them. And we both haven't the foggiest of the cause

I think there are some pretty strong loops for the survivors. A survivor who knew the map (used the map offering) was looping me pretty well, and there were some pretty long loops, I also noticed that sometimes even the chase was not started, so entity wouldn't even block the window.
Like I said, garbage for both sides. The strong loops are offset by the garbage ones, the size is a detriment for both, as is the layout and generators being impossible to find

Garbage for both sides? It's one of Wraith's best maps. Doctor, Hag, Legion, PH, Nemesis... There's a lot.
I haven't played on it as Wraith, when I faced one on it we got a 4man escape with 6 hooks total. Pyramid Head is very good in chases on it but if survivors split up across the map you cannot defend every gen. I've won and lost on it as him, and most of the wins were survivors hardcore throwing by not knowing I could hit them through a wall.
It's a garbage map for Legion, Doctor does okay, Nemesis is only okay because of Zombies but even then that's completely RNG dependant, but Hag I will give you.
Now for other killers, it's meh for Trapper, awful for Billy, awful for Nurse, almost meh but bad for Myers, awful for Huntress, awful for Bubba, not bad for Freddy, very meh for Pig but her traps are pretty good on that map, awful for Clown, Spirit's only bad map, awful for Plague, meh for Ghostface, actually kinda decent for Demo, awful for Oni, very hit or miss on Slinger, awful for Blight, meh for Twins, and hit or miss for Trickster.

What you say is true, but I realized it after the update 2 months ago. It's not fair not to hear the footsteps of the person using Iron Will
It's not fair to not hear the footsteps of a survivor full stop, because the issue is there regardless of if they use iron will or not.
-
The breathing part has been in the game since its inception, over 5 years ago.
Footsteps haven't worked regardless of iron will for the past 2 and a half years

He did say he was done with the game not the forums. I barely play the game atm but am still on the forums
Doesn't change that OP is asking a question they've already asked before
-
Except there are more killer perks in the game than just Ruin/Undying/BBQ/Tinkerer and some of them are pretty good. Corrupt immidiately springs to mind, alongside PGTW. Shoutout to Sloppy for being good just not having amazing synergy with Blight because of using his power to get hits, alongside STBFL and Devour if you squint. Mindbreaker is an underrated classic, especially on high mobility killers because they have less time to react and you don't have to worry about Dead Hard or Sprint Burst, basically ever. Anti-chase Blight, like using EndFury alongside Compound 33, maybe Bamboozle too, is underrated and great, and Infectious is godtier for his snowball potential.
So, the lack of perks isn't to blame for the lack of variety.
-
I thought you were done with dbd?
Also haven't you already asked this same question in different words?
-
Ok
-
To answer you OP, I think it would remain bad. NOED is only good vs solo survivors, and while this change may help them deal with it as soon as they're notified, it doesn't change any of the core issues with the perk vs solo, including the fact that totem searching alone with no method of communication is an almost guaranteed game throw if you do so before all gens pop.
This isn't the change NOED needs, though I'd be okay with it because less people would run it because of the amount of "THEY NERFED NOED TO THE GROUND" posts that would be made. NOED needs a fundamental rework, as well as several solo buffs, to ensure it's a perk that works effectively vs SWF players while not penalising solo players because their friends weren't available that day.
For clarification, every time I mention SWF I do mean one of the teams that are actually coordinated and talk about the game to each other, and not the majority of SWF teams which discuss literally anything else while playing.

Fortnite achieved it as well? In mere months so why can‘t dbd it‘s a super popular game
Because Epic Games has the funds to bend to Microsoft's and Sony's demands. In order to establish cross-progression, Fortnite has to pay a fee to Sony and Microsoft for every transaction made on an account which has it's progress transferred to that platform, or if platforms are linked then any transactions made on the other platform.
Say my PC, PS4, and Xbox One accounts are all linked together. Anything I purchase on PC will be transferred to the Xbox and PS accounts as well, due to the nature of cross-progression. A fee must be payed, under contractual obligation, for every purchase that happens, to make up for this platform losing money.
Epic Games, frankly, has the money for this. They can give away AAA games for free, they can do this, thanks Unreal Engine licencing.
BHVR does not have this liberty.
-
I'm very torn between NOED and Tinkerer, but I think I'd choose Tinkerer.
Tinkerer can only activate on the same generator once per trial.
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
That is how it works. The last gen pops the hex totem activates everyone is exposed
I think OP means it notifies all survivors noed is in play as soon as the generator pops, similar to how Rancor works.
-
That doesn't change the fact it's a hex perk with a cooldown that needs a basic attack. I guess it would fix the issue of making survivors play better
-
i agree with a lot of these except twins should be dropped immidiately to the bottom tier and bubba can be higher
-
I... Don't think it's right to have this mentality, in a video game outside of a competitive scene, where the primary objective is everyone having fun, but I can't force my own way of thinking onto other people.
I just accept there are always people like this in every multiplayer game- from Paladins to DBD to Minecraft servers. Some people will always play to ruin the enjoyment of others, and despite how ######### I think that is I can't make them play how I think is fair. It breaks no in-game rules so I deal with it and move to another game- I don't like being tilted at one specific match for over 5 minutes unless someone did something really bad (like call me a slur in endgame chat, yes I remember each and every one of you ❤️).
I make it my aim to prioritise fun, which is ironic because my main killer is pyramid head and he's considered one of the least fun killers to face. I want everyone to leave a game with Bloodpoints, at least one funny moment, and I want them to be able to play the game.
-
you all called me crazy but mettle of mither is gonna be the solo meta for the next 48 hours.
-
My main killer has no cosmetics I like and my ex main killer has no cosmetics full stop. Prestige at least gives me something that looks cool on both of them
-
@miketheratguy said:
I'm 600 hours in. I don't WANT all the perks unlocked, lol. What's the point of making it that much harder for me to get my preferred perks on all of my characters?
Still, impressive.
Flexing purposes, perk roulette, and your bf telling you he's found a new perk combo he wants to try so you have to change your build to match because that's just the polite thing to do
-
Because the map is absolute garbagefire for both sides and should really be thanosed?
While I don't advocate doing this for forum rules sakes, I can't actually find it in myself to blame them, either.
-
Just wait till you need to get every perk unlocked on one character.
And just wait till you start to prestige
I'm 2.7-2.8k hours into my main account and have 16 survivors and I think 7 killers leveled to P3 50 all perks, with me currently working on my 8th killer.
-
I'm All Ears on Pyramid Head or Nurse is all I use or really ever need tbf.
If I were to use a proper one, I'd use Enduring, Bamboozle, Brutal on Doctor. And never use my ability. Because for some reason No Shock Doc makes me laugh.

I mean, that's probably why many use that build. In order to compete with the top level survivors using meta perks and doing gens optimally.
But it's true, people that play killers like Blight or Spirit with insane builds shouldn't then complain about how fast gens can be repaired or how op survivor perks are.
the last time i faced one of those teams in a public game was about 2 months ago and i still got an 8 hook 1k. you don't need to bring ruin/undying/tinkerer/bbq (or pop for extra fun) with stupidly good add-ons to public games, ever, let alone all the time.
it's even worse when they'll bring those builds in and say "that's what you get for being a swf" like??? im solo my friends list is public you can easily check??? and how dare i play the game with my friends, not every swf is the optimal group you think it is????
im so sick of seeing this build over and over, if you couldnt tell, and its always the same people and its always a blight.
-
sorry for the necro but ive only just seen this lmfao
-
No, it's just a combination of latency and bugs which gives you a completely different experience each time you play as and face her
-
I can definitely blame a Blight player taking that build into a public game for not giving a ######### about the fun of the other side, and I better not hear a peep out of them about any form of genrushing, tbagging, clicking, or "toxic optimal 4man SWFs" becuase if you don't want one side to have fun, why should they want you to have any either.

We understand game development is extremely hard and we're thankful for you guys creating this wonderful game, but I don't get why such a lack of transparency, I'm sure that if you guys were updating us on the issue not that many people would be mad at the team.....I just hope that this problem gets fixed and we can move on.
Rather sadly that seems to be an issue that needs to be taken up with the higher ups, as most employees are put under a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) so can only say what their bosses want them to say. Breaking this NDA can and probably will put their job at risk, as well as future employment too.

@BrokenSouI said:
The hilarity of this post. Is you dislike Nemesis and Peener Head...Yet you play/like huntress. Remind me what she can do again..? Or right. If you try to drop pallet you get hit. If you try to vault a window you get hit. If you try fake it she holds hatchet and you get hit
So please remind me how "poorly designed" those killers are. When Huntress literally can do that EXACT same thing as those killers.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Huntress cannot spam her power due to a limited amount of hatchets, is a 110 killer, has a longer cooldown putting a hatchet down, and cannot hit through walls.
-
@Adjatha said:
Pyramid Head's power is so short, so narrow, so slow, so loud, so unmaneuverable, and so broadcast to the survivor to give them all the warnings they could ever want, that it has 0 use anywhere in the entire game OTHER than at fixed point positions like vaults and pallets.
Additionally, there is a CONSIDERABLE start-up, and virtually zero ability to tweak the left-right aiming once the blade is down, so that you must perfectly position it well before the survivor reaches the narrow point or they'll get over and have the time they need to go left or right and get out of zone of attack
Additionally, as you said, they nerfed him (exactly for people complaining then as you are complaining now) so that picking his blade up without swinging slows you and locks you out of attacking for the exact same duration as putting the blade down, giving survivors twice as long moving to run 20+% faster than the killer and get away from the huge, obvious red beam.
Additionally, if you DO swing and you're off-center, slightly too slow or fast, hindered by latency, or the survivor faked you out, the recovery time is nearly as long as Sprint Burst (twice as long as a missed M1 attack) and slows you to immobile, giving the survivor ample opportunity to get to the next loop, every time.
-------------------------------------------
So, in conclusion, his power is bad and absurdly limited. If you are honestly suggesting that the ONE part of the game that he CAN use his power on is somehow "unfair" to survivors, I don't know what to tell you. His torment trails are useless, his cages are a joke, and his offensive power is the most niche, limited 'ranged' attack out there. Other than walking around and hitting M1, what exactly is he SUPPOSED to do?
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that outside of the competitive scene (which is a joke anyway) his power is incredibly useful outside of animation lock due to a shorter cooldown and the ability to hit quickly around corners, or force survivors to take loops wider than normal, meaning you gain distance much quicker.
His biggest weakness is holding W, his power is very good in good hands.
