I don't like that you can't choose when to use it. Not only do you need gens to be done, but you can't choose between a regular lunge or extended.

Learning Nurse at Rank 4 was pretty painful.
Learning any Killer at red ranks is a terrible experience. Any plans to address this? How's MMR coming?
-
Oh hey, I'm one of those guys who brings a flashlight and forgets to use it. It happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Sandbagging aside, Technician should not increase the regression penalty. It's such a niche perk that it really does not deserve such a harsh downside.
-
Legion is a noob-stomper, plain and simple. God tier at ranks 10-20 and below average at rank 1.
-
Some great suggestions here. They'd have to reduce the duration of Corrupt Purge if they made it automatic imo. Plague would easily be A-tier with these changes.
-
I miss the old effect that removed charges from the item when hit.
-
I honestly did forget. Idk why they bothered porting to Switch when xbox/ps4 were struggling already. They should've used those resources to improve the game before branching out.
-
The Pop nerf didn't change anything. It is still the single best anti-gen perk in the game. Undying + Ruin is inconsistent at best against SWF since maps and totem perks hard counter it.
I do agree Surge needs a buff though.
-
This is why I run Kindred. No more wasting time crossing the map for a save I won't get, or letting teammates go to 2nd stage for free.
-
It's a bug. Various objects are blocking pathways that shouldn't be, especially on Haddonfield and sometimes around the Killer Shack.
-
Aside from the reveal mechanic, I think his power is just really easy to use for how strong it is. Being able to drop your Terror Radius and red stain on command is a big deal, and with cooldown add-ons he can be in stealth for the majority of the game. He ends up being a noob-stomper since weaker players rely on the Terror Radius for a warning, so he often gets insta-downs for free.
-
-You can join the DBD Discord to find teammates easily.
or
-Try playing Killer, since it's literally designed for solo players.
-
It's pretty bad depending on the Killer, like Hag for example. Turns out it's a good thing this add-on is event only. Get this thing out of my bloodwebs plz.
-
Oni is stronger overall with his mobility and insta-down. Deathslinger is better at countering looping, but has no mobility or map pressure. Also, Oni's perks are better. Deathslinger's perks are garbage imo.
-
Nurse is more fun to play against than Spirit because there is feedback for the Survivor to work with. Spirit has basically no feedback so every chase is a coin-flip. So nerf spirit by giving her some sort of feedback. But I'd also like to see them buff some of Nurse's add-ons!
-
To be fair, he got a bunch of changes post-PTB. I think PTB Blight was actually kinda trash, but they gave him an add-on pass and increased his dash speed. So yeah, he's much better than he was initially.

So, it's perfectly balanced... without comms? lolwut
That's not what I said. But yes, it is significantly less powerful without comms.
-
In my experience, a Killer usually gets 1 down with NOED and then it gets cleansed, against decent Survivors anyway. It's really not that strong considering you have to wait all game to get it.
Besides, good Killers don't need NOED to kill you anyway.

Luring survivors to boop your snoot to then betray then and kill them is a tacktic that never fails
You absolute monster! Us snoot boopers just wanna be wholesome uwu
-
My favorite mini-game is trying to boop the snoot. Will this Piggy show mercy? Let's find out!
-
Eh, average player count is still higher than 1 year ago. They almost broke the peak player count record last month as well. I think we're being a little dramatic about 1 data point. People have said DBD was dying a dozen times before.
-
He's one of the best users of the Ruin + Undying combo, so that should tell you how strong he is. Controls are janky, but his mobility is top-tier.
-
I have the same issue.
-
Minotaur Oni spawns in without a head. It's pretty funny, but also sad.
-
My only problem with it in solo queue is usually teammates will make it to the unhook before you. So maybe only run it with Kindred to make sure you're not wasting your time running to the hook just to get jacked at the last second.
-
Someone already said it but, god windows have returned in the form of breakable walls. Feels like a step back after they'd finally gotten rid of them. This was such a notorious issue before on Macmillan maps.
I also miss the blue hue, but I'm sure we'll adjust.
-
Can we just delete Shelter Woods please? Half the map is a dead zone. I groan every time I get it.
-
I agree! Repairing a gen is ridiculously simple, and it needs to become more interactive so that the Survivor must pay more attention to the gen instead of it just being background noise.
This is exactly why I find Survivor gameplay boring outside of chases. Doing gens is just mind-numbing and needs to be updated.
-
I mentioned this could happen in the PTB Feedback before Undying released. If they get lucky and get Undying first, you completely wasted a perk slot. Hexes are still a gamble like always, so be cautious of using them.
-
They sure love making sudden, unnecessary changes and seeing the community flail as we adjust. No one ever asked for a range cap on Discordance, and yet we got it. But what are we gonna do about it? Stop playing DBD?
-
What an unnecessary nerf. Discordance has very easy and clear counterplay, and they decide to gimp it anyway! I'm sure glad resources were spent on this instead of buffing the heaping pile of trash perks in the game!
-
The change was a direct buff to Plague, so I'm sure her mains are happy.
-
Is it really an exploit though? If they wanna sit under a hook that's fine by me. I effectively have 2 people hooked in the same spot and can camp them to death without having to keep track of a slug. What's the problem?
-
I wonder if they counted DCs as Sacrifices. I'd bet half of those were from DCs alone lmao.
-
--> Gets a 4k
--> Posts on forums to complain about Survivors anyway
???
-
I got the same error.
-
I mean, you're playing Clown on Ormond with a sub-optimal build.
-
They're very powerful since everyone runs an exhaustion perk. 1 add-on can deny 4 Survivor perks. Pretty nuts.
-
I especially like the base-kit change. Reducing the Frenzy cooldown per Survivor hit is a great idea!
-
I used to play Billy quite often. After his update I feel like his chainsaw gets too loud, his roar gets annoying after the 100th time, his add-ons are really bad, and the overheat mechanic can rob you of what would've been a free down before. I just find him less satisfying to play overall.
Also, 95% of Billy players used Insta-saw add-ons before. Those players have moved on to Oni, Spirit, etc.

You have to play to a killer's strengths, and Hag is only good at area control. She requires a survivor playstyle that solos struggle to pull off. Slow and steady is how you beat Hag. Every survivor has to stay extremely patient, run her away from gens, and force her to commit to 1v1 chases for downs.
This right here. Hag requires a certain playstyle to beat her, and most of the time your solo queue teammates will struggle to do so. If I had a dollar for every time my team 3-gen'd us vs. Hag, or a teammate triggered a trap at the hook by not crouching...
So yeah, Hag tends to be a miserable experience unless in SWF. Her kit is just very strong vs. an uncoordinated team.
-
Imo no. Healing promotes team play. If Survivors didn't need each other's help, they would play much more selfishly and it would hurt solo queue. It would also speed games up quite a bit since Survivors would not have to spend time finding each other for help. You don't want each individual Survivor to be self-sufficient. They should rely on each other. This is a 4v1 after all.
-
I have mixed feelings about it. It's probably too strong vs. solo Survivors on average, since maps are rare and people shouldn't be forced to sacrifice a perk slot every game in case the Killer has an Undying build.
Problem is you could argue it's too weak vs. a decent SWF. All it takes is 1 totem hunter to ruin your build fairly quickly.
The gap of solo vs. SWF is the real problem. But anyway, I guess they could band-aid nerf the aura reading. Not sure how else to balance it.
-
Try waiting a second before rushing again. Blight slowly moves away from the impact zone after slamming so you don't hit the same spot.
-
It's god-tier vs Doc, but you have a 1/21 chance of facing him. I haven't seen Infectious Fright so much since Hex: Undying released. Iron Will is more useful on average imo.
