Agree with your points. To add on: I wish they made Blight tall instead of average height. He's clunky enough without being able to see over most objects.
Overall, seems to be about Legion power level. Maybe even weaker depending on the map.

Just 2? 3 usually HAHA. And the rest of them you just don't have pressure cause 4 survivors alive.
Hah yeah sometimes it's 3. But often that means they did all gens on one side so I can 3 gen later. Still sucks though.
-
Sometimes it's the best play to let your teammates die. If my team all gets hooked in the basement for example, I'm not helping. A good Survivor recognizes when a play is suicide. Sometimes you have to cut your losses instead of trying to be a hero and giving the 4k for free.
-
That's how it's been since the Ruin nerf. Either run Corrupt or have 2 gens pop in the first minute or so.
-
I was able to just walk over the gap when I played Killer last night, no lunge needed. Maybe you got an unfortunate spawn.
-
The problem is high devotion players may suffer much longer queue times if it's made an important factor in MMR.
-
I agree, and yet I just can't quit ol' Bing-Bong Boi. Something about playing him is just so satisfying to me.
-
It's pretty nice QoL for Legion. I would recommend trying Monitor & Abuse as well, since it has other benefits outside of FOV.
-
Scott Jund since he's increased his content output recently. Zubat's compilations are my favorite though :D
-
Not good enough. I don't care about BP. Moris need a legitimate gameplay change.
-
I think what OP is getting at is there is a huge skill gap among red rank players. A player who just made it to red ranks for the first time after 100 hours, and a player who has 3k hours and been consistently red rank can be matched together. This is something they want to solve with MMR, but unfortunately they haven't figured it out yet.
-
I only use Coins occasionally. Maybe a mist offering if I'm playing Claudette. I feel like Oaks and luck offerings are only useful when stacked in SWF, and I'm a solo so I don't use them.
-
Her build is weird, Nurse's with Deathbound makes no sense. Also Prayer Beads probably hurt her more than helped, since you guys all knew when she was phasing.
Good job though, I love managing to 3v1 a Killer. It's a nice ego boost.
-
There's really no better feeling in DBD than a Survivor stepping in your trap.
-
It's been great so far. Queues are much faster, although sometimes I still get mismatching ranks in my games.
-
I would love seeing my teammates' perks in lobby. But we all know this community would use it to lobby dodge. No Mither users would never get to play a game again lol.
-
I actually like the Reddit page. There's usually some decent discussion in the comments. It's mostly memes, but I haven't had the bad experience many others here have posted.
Steam forums can be okay if you sift through all the garbage. Seriously, there's a heap of bait, troll, and rage posts that aren't really worth your time. More-so than here or Reddit.
Also, I don't use it personally, but there's an official DBD Discord channel where you can discuss stuff. Obviously it's a lot more free-form than forums, though.
-
I highly anticipate this feature as well. Just commenting to get this more attention!
-
Hook suicides allow the Killer to proc their perks that require a hook (BBQ stacks). It also takes more of the Killer's time to pickup and kill that person, giving teammates more time to do other things. You might not think that matters, but DBD is a game of time management and every second counts. Therefore, there must be a tangible deterrent for rage quitters (which this community is notorious for).
-
100% agree. They should regress to about 50% or so.

Ever heard of being out positioned?
This is kinda BS since sometimes totems and hooks/cages can spawn in these dead ends. The top of the stairs on Midwich is a good example of this. Sometimes the Survivor is forced to go there.

Wraith + Make Your Choice + All Seeing add-on = Profit

Please check my comment history. I ain't no bootlicker.
And no, withholding information is not lying. Lying is stating something that's false.
It's called lying by omission. I encourage you to google it.

Just commenting to say I agree. 5 variations of Badham is absolute overkill.
-
Not possible. Even if they removed the Leave Match button, people could still close the game with Task Manager or turn their console off.
-
Think about it though, if you're the last one and the Killer hooks you, it doesn't matter if you unhook yourself because the Killer is right there and there's no escape. If Deliverance worked in that scenario, people would pair it with DS and abuse it for free escapes. It has to be this way.
-
Ghostface is pretty good. The ability to hide your terror radius and red stain at will is very strong. The only problem is the cooldown on his power is obscenely long without add-ons.
As for counters, Spine Chill is the big one. But you can counter it by looking to the side when approaching gens.
-
"Open an Exit Gate with X Survivor" is the one I skip the most.
-
I'd say Spirit and Freddy are the easiest to learn while still being top-tier Killers.
-
Look at the bright side, at least queues won't be 20+ minutes anymore.
-
Toxicity.
-
I wish they'd remove Charms entirely. Waste of resources imo.
-
Problem is you never know what kind of Killer you'll go against. I still get tunneled occasionally at high rank. Think of it like an insurance policy.
-
This is how it should be. If you're a sweaty meta player at the highest MMR, then you should be facing Killers that can compete with you. Killers like Clown and Legion just can't keep up with 4 sweaty Survivors. If you want that to change, then the devs need to buff low-tier Killers until they are actually viable at high MMR.
-
It's probably for simplicity. It would take effort to code unique animations for these instances, so they left it as is.
-
Personally I get a great deal of enjoyment out of people DCing when I bring Cypress or Shroud. I got in their heads, and they ran like the cowards they are :)

But it is a grinding game....... That is like saying, play monster hunter without grinding or play Idk call of duty without levelling up.
The grind is a part so people can play more.
But I agree, we need a double bp event again soon since we didn't get one during the 4th year event, in fact so far this year iirc we only got the 1.5x.
This is an important point. I hated the grind when I started out, but now that I'm 2.5k hours in, I actually want more stuff to grind and accomplish. Because at this point, there's nothing left for me to achieve anymore.
But yes, the barrier to entry for new players is definitely too high.
-
I can relate. One of the most frustrating things in this game is turning a corner against Huntress only to have the hatchet still clip your hitbox even though you were 100% behind a wall. I think it has to do with the capsule hitboxes the devs use (i.e. your hitbox is much larger than your character model).

This game is like my children. Mildly sphecial but rewarding like only a train wreck can be.
Man that is really harsh to your kids xD Hilarious though.
-
I hate to say it, but this is my current conspiracy theory. Until the devs give us details on how MMR is calculated or un-hide the numbers, we have no way to prove if it's actually doing anything.
-
If they were to do this, Stridor would have to be buffed as well because it is only useful on Spirit, and no one would ever use it again if Iron Will countered it.
-
Don't be afraid to slug or tunnel. If you want to win at high ranks, the most optimal play is killing 1 Survivor ASAP because the odds drastically shift in your favor in a 3v1.
-
I just wanna say that without the existence of NOED, Survivors would never cleanse dull totems again. Gens are done extremely fast nowadays, and they'd be done even faster if NOED was not a possible threat. It is the only thing keeping dull totems as a "secondary objective."
-
Yes I have. Very rare obviously, but when I see it it's usually paired with Object and they play rather selfishly (i.e. letting teammates die to get hatch). Pair with Left Behind and a key for the ultimate "screw my teammates" build.
-
Toxic? No. Second chance? It can be. If you're injured and being chased when Adrenaline pops, that's a second chance. But a lot of times Adrenaline will pop when I'm not injured or in a chase, so it's a complete waste.

Noed + Bloodwarden seems more like a small pp killer build
Blood Warden is a big pp build to me. You give up a perk slot until the gates are open to maybe keep Survivors in the game for 1 extra minute. IMO only confident, veteran Killers run Blood Warden.
-
I enjoyed watching his thought process, but obviously even the formula he came up with is totally subjective and not standardized at all.
-
One downside of new Franklin's is you can't deny a full heal by smacking a Survivor, since it doesn't remove charges from the item anymore.
The 90 second thing is irrelevant. You'll lose the game if you camp an item instead of patrolling gens.

I think the real risk is that some players are going to try to de-mmr. They're not gonna lobby dodge, they're simply going to intentionally throw the match.
This is my concern as well. I wonder how the MMR system will treat AFKs and DCs.
-
If you think about it, teabagging is good for the Killer because the Survivor is standing still when they could be gaining distance on you. Just saying.
