You're Deathslinger on Blood Lodge...yet you're complaining about gens?
The only 'safe' loops for Survivors, vs Deathslinger, on that map are near the corners or edge wall. The entirity of the map is in his favour. You're using his easiest build and you're complaining about an 8min match?
I don't see an issue here. I mean, did you play badly? Did they just hold forward? Did you make too many mistakes? Did you prioritise hook defence instead of gen rotation? There are a lot of questions you have to amswer before this example cpmes anywhere close to proving gen speeds are an issue.
Blood Lodge is not a good Deathslinger map lol. He's so tall you can see where he is at all times, and the map is so long it takes him forever to cross it at 110%. It's one of his worst maps for those reasons. His only real chance is trying to 3 gen.
-
I agree. Without the charge time add-ons, Bubba takes forever to rev his saw. Unless you're stacking both of the Iri add-ons every game, he's really not in much of a better spot than before. He still has no map pressure or real mobility, so he'll still get gen rushed like before.
-
Not to mention they cost $15. That's the price of two full DLCs for 1 skin.
-
My guess is they don't want people instantly getting P3 and all perks right when a character releases.
I'd rather they raise the 32k cap per game instead.
-
I really hate the sensitivity when starting a flick. Before you had a max turn angle of like 90°, but now you can do a 180° if you turn your mouse too much.
Side note: I hate the roar. It was funny the first time. It got old realll quick.
-
Sure, it would be more balanced. But it would also be more boring.
-
For Deathslinger, you could stack the Terror Radius reduction add-ons with Monitor & Abuse and sneak up on people. It's not very good but it's fun.

It's just so hard to believe that it happens to everyone when I see no screen shots.
I see DS and Unbreakable all the time in red ranks. Go on Twitch or YouTube if you want proof, streamers run into those perks almost every game. The reason these perks are a hot topic is because they're common. And now they're even more popular because content creators are complaining about them.
-
It seems like for every decent perk we get, another 10 trash perks get released. :(
-
Solo only player here! Spine Chill, Iron Will, Kindred, and Dead Hard or Sprint Burst is my standard build.

If you are bored, go run the killer and leave the gens to the noobs. Gens are mundane and that is true. Adding false difficulty to an already mundane task just makes me want to completely avoid the objective and spend my time memeing and sandbagging team mates. Be careful what you wish for!
Adding more skill expression and mechanics to gens would make them less mundane. I'm sick of the same old skill check system, that's the whole point of my post.
"Leave the gens to the noobs" - then no gens get done because teammates are unreliable.
Also idk how you find sandbagging people to be fun. Pretty rude of you.
-
I was annoyed at first, but if you think about it, this is the only way they can implement an individual rank system for each Killer.
I definitely see myself dodging lobbies way more often though. I'm not gonna play Wraith into a flashlight lobby, etc.
-
This needs more attention. His chainsaw is about to get even louder with the overheat update too.
-
That moment when you haven't been chased all game, and Myers pops tier 3 on you and insta-kills you. Solo queue life.
-
As far as I'm aware, the program you're talking about hasn't worked since the Silent Hill patch. So unless you've got proof, this issue has been solved already.
-
Sloppy is 100% a meta perk on M1 Killers. I consider it a core perk on Wraith, Deathslinger, and Spirit. These Killers love to keep people injured for easy chases.
-
I'd like to point out that the rise of Spine Chill started after the Undetectable status effect was introduced. This change reduced the power of Object of Obsession against stealth Killers, so more people switched to Spine Chill to counter stealth.
As time has gone on, certain Killers have been nerfed and stealth Killers have become more popular, so Spine Chill has more value.

Pig when she squeaks. uwu

I'd love this, but my guess would be performance issues. Consoles can already dip into single-digit FPS.
There is a graphical update coming though. Maybe sometime after that, they can work on weather effects.
-
@LowSpecGamersMatter You have to post the actual link for Twitch clips. The player doesn't work on these forums for some reason.
-
Maybe around $500?
For reference, I play on a $1000 laptop, and even though I have a strong graphics card and processor, DBD takes a TON of resources to run even on low settings.
-
We got cross progression for Stadia, but not Xbox or PS4 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
No. Spirit and Nurse have the best anti-loop potential because well... they literally ignore loops with their powers.
-
I didn't really feel like I "got gud" until around 1000 hours.

The emblem system should just be removed, with the amount of disproportion to the ranking system that exists ie; going against people 2 - 3 rank sets lower then you there should just be a elo factor or something like that,
If you haven't heard, they are working on an MMR system and the emblem system will probably become meaningless. So don't worry about pipping, it doesn't really matter.
-
Yes please. The threat of DS is the only thing stopping most Killers from tunneling, like you said. So there should be an obsession every game to promote healthy gameplay.
-
I consider myself a relatively patient person, but some perks have been in a useless state for years. They definitely need to get their priorities straight.
Then again, look at the new perks they've released over the past year or so. There is maybe 1 decent perk per DLC, and the rest go unused. I'm not exactly confident in their ability to design good perks that will get used by more than a few people.
-
Reading this list reminded me of Hillbilly's upcoming change. 90% of his add-ons will be useless trash post-rework, just like The Nurse.
-
Hilarious that people are upset by Petrified Oak offerings in this thread. The devs put them in the game, so players are free to use them, and it's not toxic to do so.
Frankly, if you dodge matches because of offerings, then you should stop queueing and go play something else.

And its funny because I called this months ago.
I knew it would be removed eventually due to a bug. 100% knew it. Now after months of players being confined of course its going to be worse than ever.
They should have never had it and just gone with the points penalty like other games.
I can guarantee you this wont be the only time its removed.
You've got a point, but I don't think a BP or emblem penalty would work in this game. The people DCing don't care about points. They just want easy wins, even at the expense of ruining the game for the other 4 people. I do believe the timeout system was the way to go.
-
I really hope the DC penalty is not gone for much longer. The game is practically unplayable now that anyone can and will leave when the match doesn't go their way. I've even stopped bringing items and offerings into matches because it all goes to waste when 1 person DCs.
-
Brutal is bad in general. +20% breaking speed is not enough to be significant, except maybe on Clown.
It's a noob-trap perk imo.
-
The worst feeling is when you solo queue and your teammates feed stalk to Mikey, then he pops Tombstone Piece on you in your first chase. If you're a veteran, I'm sure this has happened to you at least once, and it sucks.
Being able to remove a player from the game without even hooking them is very strong.
-
I've never tried for this achievement for this reason.
-
Spirit is the only Killer that can get a down by just standing still. It's complete BS.
-
Remember when they said they were changing Doc to make him less annoying? If anything he's more annoying after the buffs.
That being said, I will take Doctor over Freddy or Spirit, so he's okay in my book.
-
When is Huntress' hitbox getting fixed? When is Ghostface's reveal getting fixed?
Answer: Soon™
-
Holy crap, I thought they would nerf Carb Tuning Guide, not completely remove it!
Now the only way to reduce charge time is to become a 110% killer! What a joke of a PTB.
-
To piggyback off this thread, I'd like to call attention to prestige Nea as well.
There is no blood at all on her arms even though it shows in the cosmetic picture.
Please BHVR, add more blood to all prestige cosmetics.
-
I understand why they don't release stats anymore, but I truly miss it. I love analyzing data!
-
I remember the days after the insta-heal nerf was announced. Every game had at least 1 or 2 Syringes... It was crazy!
-
Here is the proper link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DbD-PlayerSurvey
-
I clicked your link, and it told me I had already taken this survey when I had not.
-
Idk if this has been mentioned, but Lightborn really only works one time. Once the Survivor knows you have it, they won't be going for blinds anymore and you have a dead perk slot.
Sure, equip it in a 4 flashlight lobby, but otherwise you're kinda handicapping yourself by running it.
-
Idk if I agree. I hate getting tunneled, but this means Survivors could always get the unhook without consequences.
You're effectively asking for Borrowed Time to be base kit for Survivors, and that might be too powerful imo.
-
What Deathslinger needs is mobility. He's already good in chase, so he needs a way to cross the map faster, not extra shots.
-
Technically, it is the devs' fault for allowing OP stuff to exist. It is not toxic to use anything that is part of the game.
That being said, you'll find that toxic players will often use the OP stuff because it makes their power trip easier.
-
This is an online multiplayer game. Everything is always subject to change. This is a risk you take in any PvP game, not just DBD.
And the nerf was 100% justified.
-
The best part about Whispers is you'll always find the last Survivor. Great if you wanna secure the 4K.
Otherwise I think it's outclassed by other tracking perks nowadays.
-
Just a quick tip: Some Killers are better at pipping than others. Read the Wiki page on the Emblem System and only play for emblem points.
You can easily double pip on someone like Legion without getting a single kill, if you understand the emblem system.
