Dear god, don't remind me.
Happiest day of my DbD career, when OoO got overhauled.
Though, it also proves that the devs don't look exclusively at the stats.

How would you purpose to fix that?
I have no idea, to be honest. Nothing that isn’t just killing the add-on, or extremely convoluted, anyway.

imo traps are fine as they are right now. Yes they could make it so you could interact with the box from any angle, the problem with that is that the animations don't seem compatible with that.
Then there’s the problem that the pig player in question is rarely actually AFK, and not just just standing still. They can just hit ‘em off, or worse, grab ‘em.

‘Hex: Scuse Me’ always cracks me up.

A non-camping Bubba is usually a good time.

I understand the standing still argument. But, is it less cheap than face camping with booba insidious, proxy camping with double range nurse, or blight ? I am main nurse, and I have way cheaper strats than this.
- If 1 survivor is not aware, it’s low MMR. It is sad but nothing can be done here, he has to learn the game. The same way survivors have to learn how to escape a nurse, use windows against booba, ect…
- if he doesn’t care he is throwing the game. The same way he would be throwing by not doing gens, doing unsafe unhook, ect…
Going purely by player input, yes, it is substantially cheaper. Bubba, Nurse, whathaveyou still need to win a chase. A Pig running the add-on doesn’t even need to do that. And I never said I approved of facecamping Bubba/Nurse to begin with.
”Low MMR” Ehh… This is a hard argument to buy, regardless of the context.
”Throwing the game” Yes. By your own examples, you’ve seen this isn’t exactly rare.
Though, I have to say that none of this matters because the whole strat is simple BS. It’s not OP—it’s, as Aven said, just unhealthy.

We already told you what the counter is. Read the thread. She can’t get 4k playing this way.
If you think the game should be balanced around 0k, 4 escape, then all of what you are saying makes sense.
The “counter” completely falls apart if just 1 survivor isn’t aware or doesn’t care.
No, she can’t get a 4k, but she shouldn’t even get 1k because she’s standing still. She’s done even less than a facecamping Bubba. She did nothing but bring a single add-on, as is near guaranteed a kill because of that alone.
add.: Actually, it’s theoretically possible to 4k doing this. Exceptionally unlikely, sure, but not impossible.

Lmao excuse-me, red addon pig has no counter. I forgot she is a god tier, game breaking meta killer, the queen of DBD.
Oh wait, she is not. She is trash and only good against baby survivors in low ranks where she grabs them off gens.

It’s a red addon. It’s supposed to be strong and rare.
It’s unreal you keep pushing for killer nerfs, especially on a trash tier killer like Pig meanwhile the devs are thinking about introducing bots to compensate for the lack of killers.
People would call for nerfs regardless of who this would be on. It just happens to be Pig, as she’s the only one with a deathtimer like this.

or you could farm up whatever points you can, let your head go pop and move on to the next game, no point whining like a baby player no matter what side you are on its only a game.
Is it whining when you are actively denied even the chance to win the game because someone stands still? Hardly.
Nothing should deny the chance to win a match that easily, regardless of side.
Also, there’s very little points to farm in these matches. No one’s getting injured therefore no one’s healing, no one’s getting chased therefore no boldness points except totems, survival is completley out the window. That only leaves objective. Even being generous and say that you max it out, that’s ~10k. 13k if you do all totems. That’s nothing.

Plague, I'd say. Visually striking, audio design is cool. She's got a very strong theme and story (and tome), though she was a tad weak on release, she's currently the closest to 'balanced' in the whole roster for me. She's the last original killer I'd like to see (well, hear) a unique TR theme for, and then she's got the whole package, imo.
Also, she shuts down CoH completely. Can't go wrong there.
(will say I never liked the nickname, though. way too on the nose)

"Oh, yes, I'm latrophobic. Can't handle nurses. Very convenient, I know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

What is it with the necroes lately?

Ah, my bad.
Would be pretty apt, I’ll give you that.

Just some regular bug. Nothing new.
It will probably be fixed in the next patch, no worries.
doubt it’s a bug.
-
Isn’t Blight already based on them?
-
I believe the nurse head was the last one.
-
Well, people do care. They shouldn't, is the thing. Character portraits are far superior, but this will do for now.
-
Depending on the when, I go easy on them. If it's right at the start, I'll 2-hook everyone first. If someone else suicides or dc's as well, the rest can go. At that point I just feel bad for them.
-
Eh. Instaclown isn’t remotely as bad as Iri Hatchets.
Instaclowns tend to be hyperfocussed on getting the direct hit with the bottle. The time spent doing that roughly equals the amount a regular clown would spend getting the normal M1 hits.
The only nerf I would appreciate would then be that instadown bottles don’t apply Hindered.
-
It’s a flawed system, but it does exist.
-
Let’s not have another survivor perk completely trump a killer perk, hm?
-
Well, the current big thing is the fact that cheaters have set loose bots that apparently have every perk equipped, alongside the general cheating shenanigans.
Oh, and we hate Dead Hard now. Like, more than ever.

So to clarify, if we happened to miss the days the handed out the pieces for free, say like Jake's beanie, we would be able to purchase it after the giveaways are over?
I’d assume as much, yes. Given how they were in the store already, it would be very strange to remove them from there after this.

Dead by Daylight need's something scary a Jumping Spider could add exactly that. Imagine the snipes that could be done LMFAO.
Isn’t that just Demo, though?

I think this started happening since IW s hard-counters Stridor. Just another bug under the rock, I suppose.

Your best bet is to search for the body posted with the image.

Not breakable? Then the answer is no.
There are others, though. I’ve seen them appear in the second levels of the other houses.

Tomes don’t close. Rifts close, and when a rift closes, the associated tome no longer grants progress towards the rift. Otherwise, the tome remains unchanged.

Can't say they didn't warn you.

Are they reworking Ghostface in the next patch?
Check PTB patch notes.
-
Terminator would be pretty funny right now.
-
Thing is, there are like 6 default themes. If each killer gets their own theme, I’d like for those 6 to be maintained somehow. They’re pretty good. Distribute them across 6 killers.
Moreover, there’s a certain stealth aspect to having a generic TR at the start of a match. It could be a Trapper, but it could also be a Bubba or a Pig. If you hear, say, Doc’s TR, it cannot be anyone but Doc.
-
Unless Netflix changes their mind, we ain't getting it back.
-
Well this looks like an entirely different map. Just as well, I suppose.
-
I didn’t even get the ranked trials one?
-
No official date has been given, as far as I know.
It’s a safe bet, though.

Ah cheers man, never knew that!
It’s really nothing to prestige for. I have a substantial amount of killers P3-50’d, and I haven’t exactly noticed a great difference. Maybe slightly more iri nodes.
-
@t0007319 said:
Has anyone prestige a character?
Ive heard you only get clothes for your character from it so it hasn’t really been worth it.
That, and ‘better’ items get a miniscule higher chance of appearing in your bloodweb.
-
Nurse with Starstruck and Agitation.
-
Wouldn't count on it.
-
Of all things...
Iron Grasp is pure utility. It hard-counters 1 particular strategy that is unreliable as-is.

I'm sure there has only been like 1 or 2 bots that have actually played. The community overreacting as usual. Just wait a week and then people will be complaining about Dead Hard again.
Those 1/2 bots sure face a lot of forum members, then.
-
Once I finish the rift (2 tiers left) I'm going to be 100%'ing Kirby's new game, at least. After that, who knows. Been enjoying Risk of Rain 2's DLC as well, and it would be about time I started unlocking some achievements there too.

Reading isnt your best skill, right? I never said "mediocre".
No you didn't, but again, if 80% of ALL survivors run it, then there's a reason for that. And that reason has to be that it's a good perk. Beyond good, otherwise we'd see other 'good' perks just as much.
-
I’m gonna have to ask if and how you distinguish between ‘camping’ and ‘facecamping’. ‘Cuz the latter, especially when done by a certain figure, is not fine. The former is mostly fine, imo.
-
@Tiufal said:
Dead Hard is a fine perk. Its not broken or OP. Killers are just complaining about everything cause they dont want to need any skill for a 4k.
Ah yes, it’s definitely run by approximately 80% of all survivors, if not more, because it’s mediocre.

If that's the case how comes Freddie was nerfed to the ground just a few days after his release years ago?
I remember buying him then a week later he became useless.
That’s the first time they did that, and thus far has been the only time they did it with that severity.
They know it was a mistake, and they’ve clearly learned their lesson. It’s then just unfair to keep referring back to it when it’s over 3 years ago.
-
Roughly speaking, you can take half a year for changes to be implemented from when they’re teased. With that in mind, there was the dev stream where they mentioned they’re looking at the distance part. It’s not coming in this mid-chapter, and most likely won’t be coming with the anniversary release, so then the first realistic option is the mid-chapter following that.
That’s my guess, anyway.
-
If the killer lunges later than you trigger your DH, the lunge may extend beyond it, meaning you go down anyway. Onryo especially has the ability to reliably enter the survivor’s collision, so she could easily ‘outlunge’ you.
