I’d honestly argue Ormond’s flaw is its size, but is otherwise mostly fine.
-
7 gens.
3 Crows by default.
”Camp Gens.”
Hm…
-
Kinda baffled by this as well.
-
The use of the red cross in any form except real life aid is in violation of the Geneva Convention, I believe.
Add.: Looking into it, it seems not to be as extreme as the Geneva Convention, but cba to do more research
-
Well Red Forest and Backwater Swamp are still due a Realm Beyond update.
Beyond that, Garden of Joy and the Badham variations without a shadow of a doubt.
-
Imagine doing a stun challenge and getting nurse 6 times in a row.
Imagine.
-
I got Left for Dead before the EGC was introduced. Got lucky with the killer (a Bubba) finding the hatch first and absolutely refusing to leave it.
Did the last gen, went to the gate where the hatch was at opposed to the closest one, and managed to escape.
Can’t imagine doing it now.
-
Oh. Well, that’s me feeling stupid.
-
If we’re gonna talk about icons that we cannot figure out, I present you this:
Texas Barbecue, an achievement you obtain for hooking 25 invidual survivors in the basement.
Is it a chainsaw? I don’t think so. So then I come to the conclusion it’s some body part. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what that would be.
-
Haven’t seen a Pig in weeks. A month, even.
-
I had a 100% killer bonus last night. For a few games only, but still.
-
In the case of Ada, or many other licensed characters, you'd need to mix 'n match prestige if you'd want more than 3 options.
-
I'd try to argue that every killer is playing wesker rn, but I just came out of a nurse game so
-
Or injured.
-
Got tunneled and camped by every single one thus far.
-
Add 20 euros for the base game.
Subtract 60 for the "survivor/killer packs"
You are insane if you think that’s cheap.
-
This is standard.
4,99 for single character DLCs
6,99 for single survivor & killer DLCs
11,99 for 2 survivors & killer DLCs.
-
I have a suspicion there’s something going on like the Onryo easter egg.
No idea what the details are, if I’m even right at all.

Probably so they can figure our what side needs the bp
Apparently it's adaptive, though. From what I understand, it automatically adjusts to whichever side needs more players.
-
it's still coming

Im sorry - so you are saying this is deliberate?
That I have to wait an extra hour if I want to buy it out of game?
Yes. They've done it like this for years now.
Don't shoot the messenger.
-
it's still coming.
-
It releases on the store an hour after the patch.
-
Reminder that the patch and the storefront availability typically differ by an hour.

They don't want all killers to be equally good? Artist is probably supposed to be a lot better than Hag.
That makes no sense. Why would they show such blatant favourism?
Besides, I’d argue that a good Hag is much, much more oppressive than Artist.
-
I reckon something that went entirely unchanged in the patch suddenly causes crashes consistently.
-
Brutal killer means you black pipped, ie., didn't lose or gain a pip.
Also, hooks aren't the only thing counted. Gen defense is a big one too.
-
Its usage rate was 74% at the highest brackets.
74.
-
That's how she works.
She can't teleport straight away.

the survivors have a completely different theme from the main menu. only the Yamaokas get a variant of the main theme
The theme didn't play when solo queue'ing anyway, tho. It was just the main menu theme.
Or you mean the decorations, in which case I agree. It's a shame.
-
If you have an outfit, the theme shouldn't be going anywhere.

Why do you people can't seem to understand that something can be horror without being scary.
If you play and finish Dead Space 100 times, it doesn't mean it stops being a horror game after the first time because you know what's about to happen. It just stops being scary to you, but it's still a horror game, the ambiance, the visual and sound cues that make the game horror are still there.
…You do remember the premise of DbD is that people are being brutally slaughtered and hung on meathooks, right?
I’m really confused what your point is here. Or more specifically, how DbD does not do this, according to you.
-
Horror games thrive on the fear of the unknown. That's really what it boils down to. Heading into a pitch-black hallway builds tension, because you don't know if anything is in there. Anything else can be related to phobias or association with one's own experiences.
Being a PvP game, DbD simply cannot be a scary game without making one side objectively overpowered. In order for both parties to stand a solid chance at winning, there must be limits in place. Those limits are well-known to the side that is supposed to be scared, effectively nullifying the scary factor entirely.
What makes an individual person scary is not knowing (but having a vague idea) what lengths they are willing and able to go to to achieve their goals. The imagination then takes care of the rest. The power of suggestion is something not to be underestimated when crafting something scary. Last Year did this remarkably well with some of its environmental kills, but those also wear thin when it happens often and you realise it's just a game mechanic. Likewise, even as an archnophobe, the spider monster hardly scared me after watching a single video about it.
We know full-well what Trapper is like; what he does, how he does it, and how you can to stop it. He is therefore no longer scary, unless you have a phobia of bear traps. When he suddenly starts sprinting at mach 8 because cheater is controlling him, is when he becomes scary. But we all know that’s, well, not intended.

Unlike release MoM, though, it actually is an active effect opposed to a flat-out free hit tank.

Tiny version of a tiny kangaroo species
-
Bit late for that, eh?
-
It's something of a guilty pleasure for me. You're sabotaging my game, so I'm gonna sabotage yours.
-
This is the same guy who says Wesker needs to move at 4,8 m/s, y’all.
-
White Hunter: Punisher of the horny by delivering the biggest bonks of all.
-
Does it sit right with me? Absolutely not.
-
Technically, yes, it could arguably be considered cheating. However, there's no way other players will be able to tell, let alone prove that you are.
-
Heavens no.
-
I would argue that players' skills evolving is a rather important factor that is often overlooked. Take for example our most recent heavy nerf: Dead Hard
From its release, all the way up to the fix of the "exhausted on the ground" bug, the perk's strength was largely unknown. However, after the bug was fixed, DH became the single-most ran perk by FAR due to its newly discovered strength and versatility. But the problematic aspect of it, the "DH for distance", was already possible, even when it was bugged. And that is on top of the then recent addition of CoH.
That is to say, power creep and skill creep can make for new issues that we didn't foresee years ago.

From the wiki.

Just the characters/perks from the game is fine. I'd be annoyed if we didn't get those but got that.
Oh no, I'd be totally fine with just the portraits and perks as well. But I know what I'm switching to if it does show up, is all I'm saying.
-
I remember Mandy stating she was interested in getting the forums a Rainbow Bird avatar.
-
This would change absolutely nothing. The survivor icon flashes the moment they’re unhooked, and if the killer just remembers where that hook was, he knows the exact same thing.
-
Aimdressing? Yes, if only to see how different it feels.
-
Put a gen in there as well.

Size wise, RPD is a far bigger offender than Mother's Dwelling or Shelter Woods, simply because it's an indoor map with little to no straight lines to get from one place to the other. While they could absolute be reduced in size at least, splitting them feels unnecessary.
