The devs have already decided that it is an exploit and it will be removed. Why are we discussing this?
-
Jane and Élodie

Plague on Lery's is probably the rarest combination, in my experience. If I recall correctly, I have seen it just once, back in 2019.

We are still going strong.
Poor Freddy, he didn't deserve that.

Sluzzy, aren't you like a god-tier Nurse player?
I think so. And I must say, 39K Blink Attacks sounds really impressive.
-
It seems to be an unpopular opinion here, but I think Old Ruin was much better than New Ruin.

As easy as survivor is, why on gods earth is it necessary to crutch on the same things over and over for free wins? Does it not get boring winning very easy?
First game of the day: Meg with DS, Sprint Burst, Borrowed time, and Adrenaline.
Second game of the day: Dwight with DS, Sprint Burst, Borrowed time, and even Adrenaline on top of that.
Third game of the day: DS, and a Key, I put a head trap on myself after that, cause I knew the 4th game was gonna have another one of those crutch perks. Probably an immersed claudette.
This is ridiculous and very embarrassing for survivors. It's more embarassing for the devs that are so incompetent that they leave all of these training wheels in the game for survivor to get an easy out every game.
Once again, balance the game and make it fair for a change and stop pandering to baby survivors that want easy wins.
I see what you did there...
And I thank you for that, my friend. In a way, you have masterfully said what I was trying to say.
-
Now that is a good idea!
And it is not like I would give props to every Freddy player, or anything. -
We all know that Mommy Huntress is the best.
-
Well, Blood Rushes aren't that rare, and the next anniversary event might have a Blood Hunt, if we get lucky. However, if you want a Blood Feast like the one that happened back in 2017... then I am sorry for you, because we probably won't see it again.
-
Devour Bubba.
Not sure if it counts as a "meme build", but it is extremely fun when it works.

They both like torturing survivors in different ways so I could see it working.
Great art BTW!
Oh... that was unexpected. Thank you <3
I am glad to see that my favourite ship is not as unpopular as I thought it would be.
And yes, it it truly is a very good art!
-
A huge disappointment, in my opinion. There wasn't a single good change.

Pretty sure Deathslinger needs his crutch/brace thing because his leg is messed up. Poor guy is limping all over the place.
Plus Hag and Blight have back problems and could use the support. At least Blight had the sense to bring a cane.
Freddy and Clown just have their own various health problems (Clown especially has been leading a very unhealthy lifestyle; good on him for trying to get some cardio in).
They're crutching on everything when they really need to see the Doctor.
Nah, Freddy is fine. I mean, who needs a healthy body when you have magic and demonic powers?
-
I can literally say the same thing about survivors. Killers might have things like Ruin and Tinkerer, as you have pointed out, but survivors have things like DH and Unbreakable.
And such perks aren't "crutches", they are simply stronger than others. Meta, if I may put it that way. You have been here for a very long time, long enough to know that meta-perks are a necessity on higher ranks.
-
- Darkness Among Us (Legion)
- First survivor main was Claudette and she still is, however I also play Meg and Feng
- Freddy has always been my main, and he always will be, despite the fact that his new power is not as fun as his old one was. I consider Huntress to be my "secondary main"

I will stand alone on this one, but Freddy x Pig is my favourite ship.
I have my own opinions, don't mori me. Here, have some fanart (credit goes to Pinterest user Anna Kot, for saving the image):

the last time I saw a facecamping Nurse was when I facecamped someone as Nurse...
I don't wanna talk about it.
Makes sense. If you want to see a facecamping Nurse, you must become the facecamping Nurse ;)

Leatherface. DBD has an insane grind, and BBQ can cut it by half. It will help you a lot.

You don't understand.
Camping killers are like candles.
Survivors are moths.
Ok, I get what you are saying.
But then again, we've had our own personal experiences, and it is totally possible, yet a little bit unlikely, that we have never faced the exact same killers (killers as in players).
Perhaps what is true for you about camping isn't true for me.

@Mr_K said:

Plenty. I've seen every killer camp.
High mobility only increases the area you can effectively camp a survivor.
"I've seen every killer camp."
Same goes for me, but most of them were low mobility killers. Killers with high mobility know, or should know, that they can't just stay close to the hook, they need to use their power.

yesterday she was atrocious had noed/pgtw/corrupt/bbq but barely landed a blink and she didnt like that it took 5 gens to down me
last time i saw a competent nurse facecamp was 2017 iirc
Well... there is that. That Nurse probably facecamped you out of frustration, not because of a "tactical" decision, since she wasn't that good in the first place.
Just like you, I haven't seen a competent facecamping Nurse in a very long time (early 2019, if I am not mistaken). It is rare for a high mobility killer to camp, as they don't have to.

What nerfs? Like the TR change from 2-3 years ago?
Yes, and this one:
-
@Mr_K said:
Idk how this is different than any other killer.
Because high mobility killers usually don't camp. I mean, when was the last time you saw a facecamping Nurse?
The same logic applies to Freddy.
-
Getting rid of fast-paced trials would help a lot. However, I don't have even the slightest idea of how exactly this should be done.
-
@Aneurysm said:
Hard to believe I know, considering how chill most Freddies are
Most Freddies are indeed pretty chill, and a facecamping one is almost impossible to see.
But that is because facecamping with Freddy is like facecamping with Nurse: it doesn't make sense.
-
Honestly, EGC is such a bad mechanic that I wouldn't mind another change.
-
To be fair, if a player was using Infinite Mending Legion, said player deserved to get banned.
Same goes for this new Breakdown bug.
-
Easily one of the worst balance decisions I've ever seen. The only "OP" thing about Old Billy was Insta-Saw, and even that is debatable.
The Overheat mechanic must go.
-
Decent. Not the king among perks, but it does its job.
-
I think Pig is very underrated. She does need her nerfs reverted, but she definitely isn't the weakest among killers.

me, @MadLordJack, @Jyn_Mojito, and @megswifey tried it, it went badly. people were simultaniously too wholesome and anxious but also really mean to this legion cause boba called him smelly.
also no offence but i wouldnt trust half of this forum to understand the concept of the word "civil"
Ah yes, I've heard the stories. And I am pretty sure that Legion was smelly.
And I am pretty sure I know the concept of "civil"... I guess...

STEP 6: For those in the past but not that far in the past, Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer is a viable alternative.
STEP 7: Also for those in the past, gotta go with that classic Ebony Mori.
-
STEP 5: Equip Yakuyoke Amulet + Mother-Daughter Ring or Old Prayer Beads if you are in the past.

Yes, especially if they allowed us to customize the ######### out of it.

In terms of content? Yes, definitely the worst.

I couldn't test it because I'm on console but I'm sure it's gonna be a BIG problem anyway.
Indeed. Just like Old MoM, just less problematic. This Lucky Break cannot go live.

most people who actually went on the pbt and tested it realised it's actually fine.
hope they do a bunch of similar buffs to otherwise terrible talents!
I tested it, and it definitely isn't fine.

@Sluzzy said:
Until playing survivor is fair through massive buffs, then this game is only for survive with friends where they can have fun genrushing somehow or simply dying on the hook. Survivors are too weak and killers are too overpowered. I hardly have the desire to play a solo match any more because 9 out of 10 matches is always a complete loss. Even if you have a slight chance of winning, the killer can camp and tunnel and slug everyone out. There is hardly a chance to win as survivor. Not enough pallets and what few are on the map they do not work. A Freddy can be a mile away and he can still swing through the pallet. The game is broken.
"A Freddy can be a mile away and he can still swing through the pallet"
No, he cannot. Trust me, I am a long time Freddy main and if he could do that I would get free hits all the time.
He is a smol boi and has a glove instead of a more conventional weapon. His lunge just looks weird.
-
Ghostface. He is the bane of my existence.
-
Oh, that is nice! It looks cute even.
All that I have is a replica of Freddy's glove. It is a treasure.

They probably have more, to be honest. No one would waste an event item like that... At least I wouldn't. My event items are precious :)

@Mr_K said:
Of course.
The two Twin mains out there aren't enough to stop the change.
The community as a whole doesn't care because justice for Demo was successful.
To be honest, sometimes not even the entire community is enough to stop a bad change. Justice for Demo succeeded because of luck.
-
A viable way to remove it? There isn't one.
SWF is an unsolvable problem.
-
Freddy has been my main ever since I first started playing, which was prior to his rework. One of the countless reasons why he was my favourite killer was the fact that he was unique when compared to the rest of the roaster. His failure of a rework turned him into the most generic killer possible, and I still main him.
Sometimes you love the character so much that changes aren't enough for you to switch to someone else.
-
Well, most people here have already said what had to be said, but if I may give an extra piece of advice:
On 5 different occasions, BBQ appeared on the Shrine of Secrets, so you should expect it on pretty much every single killer. Make sure to counter it, no matter if the killer is Bubba or someone else.
