  • I'm so excited for these Pig changes!

EDIT: If this is the iri of new Video Tape... does that mean we're gonna get a potential buff to Pig's ambush and crouch!?

  • Wut?

Spine Chill doesn't go off for the box... it goes off when Pinhead is coming your way as it usually does for killers. I use it all the time, it works. Unless it's a new bug or something.

  • If I answer this truthfully, I'll just depress the entire forum so I'll just say the times I can do cool plays and have good chases is fun.

  • As a frequent Small Game user myself, I have noticed that as well. People just want to do gens. Small Game, Detective's Hunch, even now Counterforce counters all hexes, I rarely see anyone running any of the 3 perks. Then complain about noed.

I see some arguments going on about how cleansing all 5 bones is a time waster for a gamble of a perk the killer might not even have. My thing about that, which I also agree about it being time consuming, is the wording sounds like they expect themselves to do all 5 dull totems. If a single survivor does all 5 totems during the match instead of gens.. I agree that's more often than not, not very optimal. However, why should it be on only single one survivor to do all the 5 totems? There's five. One for each survivor to do with one for spare if another survivor cleanses it. What's the whole time wasted of doing one single bone you see after doing that gen to your right? If the killer has an insane amount of pressure, then yeah the bones are back burner of priority.

Bones to do in solo imo is the worst expectation you can ask or assume of solo survivors to do. Solo is already hard enough, the killer can easily wipe out a disorganized solo so most of the time bones aren't even on the list to do. There's no communication to tell each other, "Hey I found some bones over here, how many do we have left?" I have been in a solo team that we all synchronized very well together, a super rare thing in solo queue and all bones got done and in the end I saw the killer had noed. In the case of having a weaker team where pressure is applied, at the endgame, I use Small Game to find the noed once its discovered. If you aren't gonna do bones, you can use it as a detector to maybe find it before the killer gets a kill.

In a swf? Well I think we all know how swf goes so no need to elaborate on that.

Point is, there's 5 totems. One for each person, one for a bonus to cleanse, a team game so a team effort to do all the bones. Like I mentioned you can also use the totem perks to locate noed in the endgame.

  • Sighs SBMM... how you done us all dirty in one way or another. I'll copy what I said before about SBMM as killer and survivor with an update how I feel about it right now:

I played killer for about 2 days straight; I played my main killers and I got teams that were very good.Β VeryΒ good. Maybe even better than me in terms of skill but not godlike. Then I decided to play a killer I never actually took time to get better with or learn because you know how it was with the old rank system being a purple / red rank killer trying a new killer for the first time...

    Anyway.

I decided to dedicate a whole day playing Doctor. Some of my first games were against most likely players who were not pros and geared more towards noobs who just installed the game and I felt terrible for wiping them out so fast. I got better with Doc, learning the timing of the shocks then I go for a bathroom break while I queue up come back (which was one of the only times it was a super fast queue time) and find in the last few seconds I'm versing a TTV and this group were practically godlike, I got mega nuisaced by the TTV who was playing the fossil Bill Overbeck. I did what most killers would do with a clicky and clicky and ignored him, trying to go for the others who were admittedly, easier targets despite them all being really really good and out of my skill level I felt like. I barely get 4 hooks when they 4 man escape. I doubt it was a full 4 man swf because only the TTV seemed to be the one flexing while the others were just chill.

It's not so terrible as I thought it'd be. I thought I'd be going against bully squads back to back but no, just more stressful overall. I do see a difference from before but eh, I kinda don't pay much mind to it. I need to not care how things turn out or go if I want to enjoy the games.

One thing that has been consistent though is the ones around my skill level are all splitting up on gens so by the time I get a down, one gen has popped with 2 being worked on.

Is it fun? Sometimes. Most of the times? More stress headaches than it's probably worth.

The update: I still stand by everything I said with the exception I've gotten hella bully squads today but I also still stand by me saying I need to just not care how things go or turn out in a match if I want any shred of enjoyment out of it. Today I like SBMM even less on the side of killer.

    For survivor:

As survivor, my queue times are instant but the teammates will be either really good or really bad or a mix between the two like in example me and another player are clearly not meant to be matched with the killer as he's being juiced but the other two will go down faster than a bucket of chicken at a homeless shelter.

The update: Still true. Although not as frequent. I'm getting better teammates but I do also get thrown the teammates who can't last 5 seconds in chase, choose gens over saving a hooked teammate before stage two with another slugged and the other being chased, I've been left on second hook while everyone heals in the corner of the map, teammates looping around a hooked survivor which is a perfect opening for a snowball, I've gotten farmed. It's just... a mess. I treasure the games where I have good teammates. Even if we lose, I know we did well but the other side of the dice with teammates... yikes. I literally got an equivalent of a rank 20 teammate earlier. They were brand new to the game. They were playing Feng with all default, after being unhooked wanted to heal in a corner I kid you not, got scared of every little noise hiding in a locker and I check their perks and it's all base perks with only like one of Feng's actual perks and it was yellow of tier one like ######### is this matchmaking? It's so whack! But I will say this: I can and am gradually improving on my looping with killers around my "skill" level so survivor is kind of mixed feelings to be honest.

Sorry this is so long but... you asked. XD

  • I'm sick and tired to death of playing against Nemesis, Pinhead, Huntress and Blight. You know how when a certain trend gets overused so much you yourself begin hating the very thing? That's me. I've always been that way even as a teenager, I never followed trends and was the odd kid out and everyone thought I might've been a psychopath lowkey cuz of lack of social interaction or desire but that's neither here nor there. Except they're not trends, they're killers and I'd rather be poking my eyes out than go against them for the rest of the week or even the year. Other than them, I only get mildly annoyed with Wraith and Ghostface.

Now the killers I like going against are: Pyramid Head, Bubba, Piggy, Billy, Doctor, I can respect good Hags & Nurses, We'll get back into the Demogorgon love I'm sure when he dies down but for now, no.

Everyone else can go either way of annoyance or not really bothersome either way.

  • @Kurri said:

    If you're a masochist it's great

This oddly sums up both my relationships in real life and with this game. Glutton for punishment right here. Lolol

  • Yeah, I'm having a hard time with it. My issue mostly consist of teammates either leaving me to die on first hook, I'm getting camped or my teammates are thirsty for the unhooks like crazy, yo. I swear it's been a hook bombing fest except for maybe 3 matches. I have the challenge selected and I'm just playing like normal until I get it. No sense of throwing the match just to complete it in a hurry. :)

  • I've gotten about 4 Bubba's today. Yes I do agree something is in the air with all the tubbies. One of mine was a P3 Bubba who liked to shake his head no when he finally downs me and overall was "toxic" (although not really; I just consider it BM rather than true toxicity) and in return, I teabagged him at the exit when I damn well deserved the escape. I find chases with Bubba fun, and I'm sure Bubba mains find him fun not because he's a one shot down killer but his playstyle. They just vibe, fam. The others, I don't think were new Bubbas... just a little inexperienced.

  • @Yamaoka said:

Quote: "I mean sure you have difficulty catching survivors so you choose a killer that can one hit."

So much sodium in one sentence. Maybe I just enjoy his gameplay more than other killers but sure I can also play Nemesis (which I find fun to play, too) and hit you 3 times with the tentacle while you "skillfully" hold W after every hit until I catch up but I'm sure even then you'll just complain about the fact he can hit you behind pallets and windows or the fact that you can randomly get hit/zoned by a zombie mid chase.

Or I could play Doctor but then you will complain about being unable to hide and vault leading to unavoidable hits/downs.

All killers intentionally have powers to end chases quickly, find survivors quickly or hit survivors quickly+consistently multiple times (i.e. Nurse, Spirit, Blight especially with Alchemist Ring etc).

All the powers come with a catch. Bubba's catch is he is bound to base mechanics (windows, pallets, distance on top of his charge up time, acceleration mechanic and charge-count mechanic). If that's still not enough for you to run him for a while then maybe you need to learn how to loop and not just mindlessly hold W after every basic attack hit.

"Skillfully hold W" @Yamaoka I am DEAD. πŸ˜‚I do like that roast tho.

  • I usually just suicide on hook but that's usually my luck when I 4%. The game really does hate me sometimes.

Also be careful, I've heard of hackers being able to basically perma ban players somehow by messing with the DC button, settings or whatever. I dunno how or if it's a rumor.. but yeah.

  • Hm. I'm actually very confused how this MMR system is supposed to be working. I played killer for about 2 days straight; I played my main killers and I got teams that were very good. Very good. Maybe even better than me in terms of skill but not godlike. Then I decided to play a killer I never actually took time to get better with or learn because you know how it was with the old rank system being a purple / red rank killer trying a new killer for the first time...

  • God you Xbox players can get it worse than us in the Playstation crew. I hope it gets fixed soon for you guys. <3

  • Depends on who is face camping. If it's a Bubba or Billy, basement Trapper especially, on the rare occasion, a Huntress with an iri hatchet at the ready, rescues from a face camped survivor shouldn't be too difficult. If it's one of the latter I listed, then... do gens people, it's not that hard.

Kindred... You would think teammates would see a Bubba or whoever face camping in the basement and just do gens but no. Most of the times, solo queue survivors try to be a hero. Maybe because they don't want to be seen as an awful teammate who just leaves the person on hook but me personally, I get more frustrated seeing the aura of teammates coming in a cluster for rescue. Like... the killer is Bubba.... you see he is face camping me in the basement.. which means he is busy so gens are EZ but then you all come down only get insta downed. When ranks were still a thing and I was in red ranks, I still seen some red ranks go in for save against face camping Bubbas. Wild stuff.

Always disappointing seeing teammates giving face campers a 3-4k, but not surprising.

  • @Purgatorian said:

Even better, they could tie this in with the crafting system they spoke of a while ago.

All unused addons and items could be used to craft charms. Say 100 common items for a common charm, knowing bhvr though it would be 5k items lol.

100% BVHR would make it two arms and four legs to obtain. πŸ˜‚

  • @BadMrFrosty said:

If it requires killers to spend any amount of their already precious time cleansing these totems, then I'm certain you'll see skyrocketing survivor queue times. If not, then they'll just be "another set of (likely useless) perks that nobody uses."

Oh for sure. If I as a killer have to add freaking boon totems to the to do list in order to play the match even remotely optimally... I'm out. Lol that'll be the end of my killer career.

I can deal with the mix bag of survivors with the new mmr but killer is already so stressful (at least to me it is) I'm drawing the line at having even more work to do as killer.

  • @KingFrost said:

I'm guessing there'll be a boon that counters camping in some way.

I highly doubt it. Considering the devs don't see anything wrong with camping, why make a boon to stop it? There's already a perk that pauses the struggle phase timer when a teammate is in range. A whole boon perk that might completely halt it would be too much.

  • Idk what the boons have in store but I do like a theory that the survivor to introduce boon totems is the human version of Hag. Ngl I'd be down for that.

I just hope the boons though is fair for both sides and not something the killer needs to hunt to destroy just to play the game. I doubt the boon benefits will be anything too outrageous though.

  • As survivor, my queue times are instant but the teammates will be either really good or really bad or a mix between the two like in example me and another player are clearly not meant to be matched with the killer as he's being juiced but the other two will go down faster than a bucket of chicken at a homeless shelter.

The killers have been mostly baby killers - today alone I have had 3 Ghostfaces back to back. One played normally and I felt was near my skill level - it was a good match even if I lost. Another tunneled every person off the hook. The most recent one both tunneled and face camped everyone to death who also hit me on hook repeatedly because I broke him out of stealth and he didn't like being blinded so much at pallets. Then some killers I get are actually, I feel, at my skill level and it's pretty evenly fair across the board.

Again as I've mentioned in previous posts, I haven't played killer really. I still feel like dirt so sticking to the less stressful side of things.

    So SBMM is... Okay.

  • I know this thread is about the dc'ing against Spirit and dc'ing in general but I love how the chad survivor was so confused what was going on they thought it was hacking. πŸ˜‚

  • Grades of all colors β‰  skill.

Grades do not tell you the skill of the player. Just merely how much they play the game. My friends and I are just about back to being silver after rank reset. It doesn't mean we're skillful, we just play. No one knows what skill means to BHVR or how they're measuring it.

  • I'd love to say the dumb meme may have had a hand in it but I'm not sure. All I know is a bunch of immature children found it just hilarious. I'm on the fence if I miss the voice lines or not. The jokes got old after day one and simply made me roll my eyes. As an adult, it was funny the first time I heard it but after it went on every ######### day, it just became tedious and childish. So I'm glad it's gone. On the other hand, the voice lines made Pinhead special so I wish they'd give him something back.

If that was the case solely of being removed due to crude humor, I would've thought they'd just remove Pinhead's teleportation dialogue. Why did the mori dialogue get gutted as well? Why does Chatterer have his chatter noises but Pinhead gets all his lines gutted? We may never know and we may just have to deal with the not knowing. If I think on it too much, it'll drive me bonkers because I too want to know why lol.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Never say never, but I somewhat doubt it. That is what makes Jill over Claire even more disappointing. Well, I would be less disappointed if they gave her a RE1 outfit, but I do not even expect that. The licensed stuff is just so sus, I have no clue what they were thinking, we are losing Hawkins somehow. They have some WACK contracts, fam.

Maybe one day we'll get a truly classic Jill cosmetic. I was really looking forward to her S.T.A.R.S outfit with the beret. πŸ˜”

  • I'd rather not. I've seen the kind of salt you'll get through the messaging feature. It isn't pretty. And I just do not need that stress in my life. I like having the option to welcome salt freely for public if I'm feeling cheeky that week. If I was on PC, I wouldn't even bother with the post game chat. Rarely anyone just says ggs wp and moves on to their next match anymore. :(

  • We'll have to see what boon totems have in the package first. Some killers may not waste time to find them if they're not worth destroying. The boons benefits might be so slightly that it doesn't largely affect the killer. It may be a thing of if the killer comes across it, then epic. But again we'll have to wait and see.

I definitely could see a lot more slugging going on though. And tunneling. Maybe even camping but again, we'll have to see what all it entails first.

  • I only played one game as killer during the new SBMM. I played Pyramid Head who is not my main and I'm incredibly new with. My queue time I believe was like four minutes? Not as quick as it normally is but not horrible.

They were decent survivors. Not god tier but not babies. Probably where I should've been. I didn't do well because I did chase too long but for me personally, it was more target practice than a match. I want to get better at using his power so I didn't take the match seriously. I also still can't hear 100% out of my left ear because I'm sick and I use my ears a lot as killer so having one out of commission is bad for me.

That's been my only experience as killer so far. I'll return to my usual 50/50 play of both sides when I'm well again but for now that's my only killer story since this SBMM activation.

As survivor, it's a mix bag. It feels like the same old teammates as before SBMM. Sometimes I get competent teammates. I got camped by a Doc reasonably so when he couldn't get a down, I was the unlucky soul to get caught with noed because he randomly decided he wanted me and bad, even neglecting an injured Nancy to get me the whole duration of the last 2 gens. My team did try to find it but my time on second phase was running out so they left. I didn't blame them and I wasn't salty, they made the right decision. Wasn't even salty with the Doc - he was just confirming a kill. On the other end of the spectrum of teammates, a similar situation happened earlier before the Doc match with a Myers who also just wanted me in the duration of the last gen which I don't understand why these killers want me so bad sometimes I'm not god tier or even good lmao I don't teabag or anything but I digress; so my teammates threw themselves at Myers with noed... It was wild.

The killers I'm going against as survivor though has been a lot easier I admit that. Sometimes I get owned though lol But que sera, sera my friends. XD

  • My PS4 has only experienced slight lags now with problems still afflicting Sloppy about now 7 times out of 10 which was better than being 9 out of 10 before the latest update. Lithe is still lagging when it activates but it's tolerable more than Dead Hard when it didn't work. It seems to run better idk why oc players are getting hit hard now. How the tables have turned unfortunately. :/

  • As a Quentin main... that gives me hope on my future skills. Lol

But Zarinas. Definitely. Dwights are mostly toxic which I don't understand how people can make him a toxic ferret when he's probably realistically still a virgin. Lololol Some Cheryls, And never trust a ponytail Nancy in the christmas sweater.... loops for days.

  • Don't roast me but all I saw without reading the whole thing, just seeing the length (forgive me I'm running on no sleep and I'm sick) and the words "pattern" and "grades" is this meme:

    5af.jpg

But no, gold is not Iri. It's like purple ranks. I.e, I'm gold 1 which is like rank 5 fixing to be Iri 4 = rank 4. You can check out the wiki on the grade system if you already haven't, it might clear some things up. :)

I mean if they don't do -something- then killers will just not play and you'll run in to the same issues for everyone across the board.

That is the great divide and dilemma unfortunately my friend.

  • If BVHR added a disable feature for groups, people would never get to play with their friends.

  • @C3Tooth said:

Having a few match vs Pinhead, I feel the box is in a good spot. Definitely not a hard punish, but it comes with manything.

    • Chainhunt is like Dreamworld, the clock keeps counting up. Unlike Dreamworld that survivors can ignore and easy to disable. Chainhunt force at least 1 survivors to focus on the box. Make the game 1v3 just with his basekit.
    • If a survivor tries to box hostage, a fail awareness can lead him into Pinhead. Being chased while Chainhunt clock counting, a down come with chainhunt on other survivors is inevitable
    • The box existence is unique, spawn as far as possible from all survivors. When a survivor is in chase, he should not run near the box or Pinhead will take the box. And the best place to chase is being as far as possible from other survivors who doing Gen. Because of the box, it survivor will likely to run into his teammates on Gen.

If you look at a single aspect, his power is weak. But look at a whole, he's not that bad.

"And the best place to chase is beingΒ as far as possible from other survivors who doing Gen.Β Because of the box, it survivor will likely to run into his teammates on Gen."

My random teammates who have been opening the box literally feet away from me on said gen... πŸ‘πŸ‘„πŸ‘

  • Oh most definitely. For sure the killers aren't the greatest but it's giving me teammates who I would guess are rank 20s. They're so scared to do anything, can't last in chase, use up all the pallets in like 0.2 seconds making he entire map a dead zone. Then sometimes I'm getting teammates who we can each run for like a solid minute or so. It's just WHACK.

  • How on earth are they milking consoles? All they're milking us consoles for are headaches and frustration of how much of this game we can't play. Dead Hard works again, Lithe is still bugged. There's still massive frame drops with Sloppy Butcher. We ain't milkin' gold I can tell you that.

I miss old old DBD though. Like, I've known of this game essentially since its release. I knew of it. I couldn't play it until some time ago then fell in love with it and was sad I missed out on so much already like old Doc, old old DS, etc. New DBD is a whole ######### show with its problems. But one thing we all can't deny, it can be fun. Can be. And when it's fun, it's really fun. Making a build work according to plan, playing a fun build as killer that's non meta and survivors actually not being salty about it. This game has turned into full on vicious competition versus one another that has killers making your game miserable because of a few little head on stuns, flashlight blindings (which I just got face camped by a Bubba low rank for blinding him at pallets... :/), I've seen some face camping and hitting on hook for Blast Mine. I've been face camped for my Sabo build I love doing so much, I like the feeling of being able to rescue someone especially if they're on death hook. All that makes it a 50/50 if you're gonna get camped because you dared tried to have a fun time or even survive.

Oh but I'm not biased. I play killer too. On the killer side, you can get salt just for doing your favorite build. For Hag, I love the slugging build of Knockout, Third Seal, Deerstalker, maybe Devour. I switch up 2 slots a lot but anyway, people get genuinely mad about it. A certain add on combo you want to try? Be prepared for epic salt. It never ends. [ Quick edit ]: I've seen salt from survivors of a killer not giving hatch either.

Seems like back in the old DBD days, people had FUN. Now it's just all about who can loop the killer the longest or scoring that 4k. It's such a fierce, ugly and hungry competition that just repeats its own cycle. I wish people would just have fun more instead of wanting the world record for longest time looping Bubba and Bubba slugging for the 4k at 4 gens. But to some people that is fun and that's exactly what I mean. Fun is subjective and its bred so much of what DBD is now.

  • Yep. I've seen so much of the tunneling, the camping, the proxying since SBMM as been active. I've even been seeing Pinheads do it! My whole solo team got face camped to death. Poor Pinhead. Falling victim to the host of campers.

  • It's so far.... I have mixed feelings about it. I haven't been feeling well and it's affecting my hearing so I can't play killer at the moment. So I've been playing survivor. My survivor experience has been a mixed bag. Some games I'm playing with really good survivors then other games it's pairing me with farming off the hook, not coming to save, not healing, giving themselves essentially to the killer, pre dropping every pallet so the entire map is a dead zone.... This is not my playstyle and I know it isn't. It's incredibly frustrating at times. Maybe it'll straighten out fully in a week... I don't know we'll see. I know the killers I've been going against have been easier, it's just teammates throwing themselves at the killer throwing the whole match.

  • Nope. If I'm lucky enough it'll give me a fast vault even if I hit the angle for a fast it gives me a slow or medium vault.

  • 1) The traps are not meant to kill. They're a built in game slowdown. They're... Distractions if you will. Whether you choose to go after the ones with traps or the ones actively on gens is up to you.

    2) The RBT is not going to be active on hook, in chase, or in the dying state.

    3) RBT's won't go off at the exit gates if they're not active; a survivor cannot leave a trial with an active bear trap on their head however, they can still get out through the hatch with an active RBT.

    4) Some maps are better than others at achieving the head pops. As much as I detest it.... RPD is a good map for head pops. Throw on Crate Of Gears + Tampered Timer or an add on with Tampered Timer to reduce the amount of Jigsaw boxes.... Is dirty. Pair all that off with Knockout and Third Seal (to make them blind to their teammates; obviously it isn't going to work for jigsaw boxes). Some maps are terrible for head pops like Dead Dawg. Yeah head pops are map dependent as well as RNG dependant.

    5) Head pops are the greatest when you get 'em. 😈

  • If you're on newer gen console or pc, I'm last gen console so my opinion on the subject is moot unfortunately. Looks about like it always been. Dead Hard actually works again, Lithe still has lag issues. Yeah man, old gen consoles can't tell you indefinitely. Lol

  • He does look a bit goofy / soft in dbd compared to the movie. I prefer to verse Chatterer anyway though so I'm probably biased.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again: I regret not investing a damn good PC. That I regret investing in this game for the old gen PS4 and it shouldn't be that way. Now I'm hearing even really decent PCs is getting a slice of the action... It just ain't right.

As much as I love new content, I'd be 10x happier to be able to actually play it 100% smoothly. I can't remember if I've shared it before but here is what it is like to verse Nemesis on console:

I haven't had a single crash today. Not one, and you know why. Cause I always let survivors get the box and solve it. Do you know why the crash always happens around 2 survivors, because at that point they're too worried about dying to try to solve the box.

They're gonna die anyway? It doesn't matter at that point if they solve the box, the chain hunt will rat you out. It's just choosing when you wanna die - with the box or the Cenobite catching a glimpse of or hears one of the chains hooked on you. Just how I see it personally. I was lucky to find hatch before the chain hunt started and probably getting the disconnect from host which has now been fixed so I don't see a point in continuing a thread of an issue fixed which you were clearly understandably annoyed with. I hope your Pinhead games go well though now you won't actually crash. Lol

  • Did the DC penalty get removed again? I don't think it did but I was watching a streamer who got a network error (not the disconnection from host error) and got kicked from a game randomly but they received no penalty.

  • If you try to hit the button to avoid getting hit, you'll probably get hit anyway. I use it for distance, to make it to a pallet or window. It actually works again, even having you exhausted on the ground like the old days!

  • The chains are only annoying when the survivors allow the chain hunt to harass them. Knowing when to solve the box is helpful - if Pinhead is in chase, get to a safe looping tile and solve the box in case he teleports or solve it when he picks up a survivor to hook them. I see one too many survivors solving the box out in the open or in a non safe area. I don't know if survivors aren't thinking about if he teleports... they just solve le cube.

I've also used the cube to lure Pinhead to me from a survivor on death hook that he's chasing if I can spare another hook. Ya gotta be smart with le cube to wield it.

Yeah, so if a survivor has a full golden halo, it will also crash. It usually crashes when a survivor is sacrificed during a chain hunt, but other things can trigger it too.

So to be clear, the server crashes when 1st there is a chain hunt/a survivor is holding the box and has a full yellow crown and then during the following circumstances. Sacrificing a survivor, kicking a generator, opening a door, completing a generator, escaping through hatch. I'm sure there's more, but the major part is that it always happens during a chain hunt or when 1 survivor has a full yellow crown.

I don't know if the chain hunt is the all the way problem. It still crashed on me against Pinhead when there were only 2 survivors or less. I think twice when it crashed, there was no chain hunt. I had on Alert and it crashed when Chatterer was breaking a pallet. I've seen streamers crash when they were doing a basic attack. Something is overloading, if it is chain hunt related, it could be crashing before the hunt begins or its freshly over or "cycling".

All I know from when it's happened to me is it hard crashes during breaking animations or basic attack with two or less survivors. Sometimes there's a chain hunt, sometimes there isn't.

  • I know for sure it has something to do with there being two or less survivors - you're right about that but I'm not sure about the chain hunt thing. I'll keep my eyes out for the chain hunt bar since I seem to keep making it to be one of the last two survivors standing. It JUST crashed on me a second ago with Pinhead and there was a chain hunt. I'll edit here after a few more games with him to see if you're onto something with the chain hunt but I know definitely it does the DC from host with two or less survivors.

One thing I noticed is that the game became MUCH more sharp. Coldwind has caused me serious issues that I've never had before. The Cenobite dc thing has also happened, I guess he just can't come through the last kill animation anymore so he forcefully departs from a trial.

This is a pattern I've noticed. I finally felt better enough for time being to do the update and play and any time the disconnect from host thing has happened, it's been me and one other survivor left and then the DC from host thing pops up. I've also seen some people who play Pinhead it'll either occur when they've landed a hit or using his power. I hope they get this fixed soon.

  • Unlucky. Situations similar to this has only happened to me like twice, ever. Definitely report them.
