This perk is in no way useless.
It will be in a whole team of solos. For swfs it'll still thrive. Almost every perk can survive swf but this change will kill the solo teams as you can't afford to waste 30+ seconds healing when solo survivors already are allergic to gens. Just my opinion though.

Why would DBD mobile, which doesn't even have the Ringu chapter and is considered a separate game, start tweeting hints for the main game 3 days after Ringu (a licensed chapter) release when they've never done teasers for the main game before?
The only logical answer to that was that Fnaf was a (mostly) mobile game. Although it was available for PC as well, it was more popular and played through mobile.
Not saying I'm on board with them being "teasers" but if it is Fnaf, that would make sense honestly. Personally, I can't wait for when the main account starts teasing the anniversary, I love speculating new chapter possibilities.

I'm wondering the same thing to be honest! Having Sadako in the game now gives me hope on Ju On. It's one of my favorite Japanese & American horror films. My only curiosity being: how could they do a Ju-On chapter differently enough to separate Kayako and Sadako?
I have a few thoughts. Kayako makes this noise she could make as soon as she becomes completely detectable. She could be a full on stealth horror killer with maybe an insanity mechanic similar to Doctor. Instead of walking around like Sadako does, she crawls (you know... Her infamous crawl...) Maybe being a stealth killer she could fill up an expose meter on the survivors. Or she could trap areas of the map so when survivors come into the area of the trap, their curse increases as having her house on every map would be impossible, this would be the next best thing - a trapping stealth killer. Bonus points if while she's chasing you, lights flicker, she's making THAT noise. Outdoor maps the chase would have your screen fading in and out with the noise as she chases.
Her mori? Let me just leave this here: https://youtu.be/t31U3QAkClM (from 0:00-1:16)
The real issue I'd see now is really how to make her stand out and apart from Sadako since they're so eerily similar but I feel it could be done.
So stoked to get my hands on Sadako though. I just might main her until they inevitably bring Kayako. Unless Kayako + Sadako mix or Kayako herself is the upcoming legendary then I'm going to be really disappointed.
EDIT: Maybe to go along with either being a full on stealth killer or trapping stealth killer she could have an insanity mechanic and in chase to add onto the previous chase thoughts, survivors could hallucinate her crawling on walls beside them as they run or hell, she could be the first killer to chase alongside walls (not the whole time though, maybe it'd be a temporary chase ability with a cool down) so it'd mess with the survivors' heads if she's chasing them from there or just projecting that she is (meanwhile while projecting this hallucination, she is invisible to the survivor).

I always save my shards for cosmetics that can be purchased with shards as I'm trying to save real money for more important stuff. Plus I just like earning my cosmetics through the game as I earn it, I can also ~~attempt~~ to improve.
-
I promise you survivors do not care about you or your fun.
And vice versa. Killers do not care about survivor's fun.
That is just dbd in a nutshell.

I don't think the community's vile nature will ever cease. Two, three, four years from now my inbox will probably still get abused each time I play. I only keep it open for dms cuz the salt is funny. It's completely ridiculous to me how someone will be so mad over this game, they feel the need to remind you what a trash player you are and to learn to play the game. My favorite is when they harass for 2 days+ till they get blocked.
It'll never change I'm afraid.
-
Wait, what!? Could someone please give me a lowdown because I legit can't sit through an entire q&a stream of anything. If it means what I think it means.... 👀
-
I didn't play during the time of old Balanced Landing but in the current state of BL... I sometimes use it. It's not as good as Dead Hard but I like it. I know some spots where it'll trigger my Balanced Landing and generally know how to use it around my playstyle which is that I noticed I like to use height during chases. If I equip Q&Q + Iron Will, I can sometimes vanish from the killer leaving him to mindgame himself if I'm still there (like some vaults that are usually bad ideas if you don't have BL).
I don't see it much used either and it's a shame cause I do like it. The real bite in the booty can sometimes be the maps in which you don't get much value off the perk but as I said, I've found some elevation spots that'll proc my speed boost.
-
I feel that. When I'm given hatch, it's nice but I never expect it or feel entitled to it if I'm the last survivor alive, there's no hard feelings in me being slapped onto that hook as I know unlike some survivors, this is just a game and that is the killer role. To make sure no survivor escapes.
-
No, his reveal mechanic is just inconsistent and terrible. Sometimes you can break him out of stealth from behind a rock and other times, I can practically stare directly into his soul and nothing. Kind've annoying how inconsistent his mechanic is actually.
The survivor needs to have their camera positioned on the center on his body which is why I said I could directly stare into his soul sometimes and it doesn't do anything even if it should. Also if the Steve wasn't looking behind him, he isn't going to break you out of stealth.
-
I'm sorry to hear that. I'll copy / paste my answer to a similar post, maybe it'll help:
I had trouble claiming the January code as well but I discovered my code wasn't working because it times out. I don't know when this time out happens but I copied the code and went to go do something real quick, came back to enter my code and for about an hour I was trying to get the code to work. I got super frustrated with it until I did the last thing I could think of: refresh for a new code and immediately type it in. It worked.
If you're copying the code from mobile, I know it doesn't give you the whole code, you'll have to scroll to see the rest of it. I don't know if you can see the whole code on computer as I don't own a computer anymore at the moment.
I'm assuming you've entered the code with the dashes? It won't take the code unless it's with the dashes. Other than these things... I don't know why it wouldn't work. It's so strange to me people can't get their code to work when the Artist's skins didn't give problem. :/
-
I play Trapper regularly with a few others and while I'm not a pro or consider myself good in anyway, I do at least 2k every match unless it's just an unlucky roll of the dice or I'm playing poorly.
Trap placement is important. Learning survivor pathing will help you decide where to place traps. Playing as survivor also helps me determine where I should place a trap - how would I run this loop? is a question I'd ask myself while setting up. If you're not good at looping, observe the good loopers when you're chasing them and take notes of common pathing by them to carry over to your next games.
I do like to do some mind games though like placing an obvious trap while setting a secret legit trap in the loop so after they disarm the baited trap, they'll loop me, hug the loop as tight as possible then step in the trap.
Places like shack or T / L walls I trap the corners. The drop down on The Game I trap the stairs leading up to it.
The better survivors you go against, obvious traps aren't going to work, try placing them in part of the loop they're gonna hug. Preferably, you'll want to set up around a good 3 gen as Trapper excels in protecting a 3 gen.
For perks, I usually run: Pop, STBFL, Corrupt, and I'll switch the 4th slot. Maybe Eruption, Surge, BBQ. Basically whatever I feel like going in that 4th slot but Corrupt is essentially a must for Trapper.
I will say though as a Trapper player: nothing is more satisfying than a cocky survivor teabagging, flashlight clicking to step in a trap two feet ahead of them. It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
-
I mean... Yeah. Trapper got screwed the most I'd say in terms of killers being able to perform well on that map.
A good slight change to this map that would help Trapper imo is the sand being passive interactable. Only to be a thing to trap killers like Hag and Trapper though. It'd be nice if they could place a trap anywhere in the loop and the sand just covers it. Maybe not entirely encase the trap but enough to where a person paying enough attention will notice the end of it sticking out of the sand. Then and maybe only then will he not get laughed at during the entire match on that map.
Rip Trapper. You deserved better.

I do wish they had Nemmy's classic skin. I was so hoping that would've been a skin that would be available sometime after release. The blighted Nemesis is alright and all but I really want a classic Nemmy.
For Jill, I really want her S.T.A.R.S outfit with the beret.
One day. Maybe. Possibly.

Yeah that audio bug happens whenever Nemesis retracts his tentacle. Thank god it will be fixed cuz it's uber annoying

I personally have come to really really hate boons. Do they affect me? Sometimes. Shadowstep really does ruin fun builds like wall hacks piggy, Scratched Mirror. Other than that I sometimes look track of survivors because of Shadowstep and CoH just completely ruins any pressure I have. But otherwise nah I can follow the blood and footsteps.
Do they affect me? Not really unless I want to do something fun and less stressful but boons even ruin just chill builds, so.
-
If you see any of those, "this isn't fair I'm only silver II against Iri 1. Nice match making BHVR." Just ignore it. You try to explain it so many times and 20 more follow behind it. It's old and tiring at this point. It's easier to complain about the grades "equaling" MMR as if it's supposed to pair you with fellow Silver II's, basically treating it like the old ranking system rather than doing research into what it actually is, or isn't. Countless people have tried explaining it but people are just still insisting it's the old ranking system.
Now what I can agree with is how inconsistent match making is. Let's be honest, it's pretty damn inconsistent. I don't think it is working as it should. Like at all.
-
Willow Wreath can actually be useful to catch the one survivor following you around, setting off your traps on purpose then hiding nearby to initiate a chase to nearby traps then hook the nuisance survivor and then trap in peace at least until the nuisance gets unhooked. 😒
Beside that, Hag doesn't rlly need insanely great pink addons. She does her job just fine going addonless. If I do use addons then I'll use the one that sets traps faster, longer teleport duration, Willow Wreath or Rusty Shackles when I want to use my ruthless Hag build.
-
Same reason I don't farm; it's incredibly boring and quite frankly, annoying. This isn't a real problem however, I'm just impatient and like the action of this game. But this is a me thing since like I said, I'm impatient, I'm always on the go and I like the chaos of the match. If I'm killer and I know there's a hiding survivor, I'm going to get annoyed even after searching for said hiding survivor. As survivor I only have a problem with steathliness when the survivor isn't doing anything constructive to the team. No hooks, not taking aggro or trying to take aggro and just glued on gens and hiding. Yes, you're supposed to do gens but it's also beneficial to take a hook even if you're not the best at chases. Your chances are higher of escaping with more survivors alive than dead. Just sitting on gens and hiding is almost equivalent to letting your team die because you don't want none of the heat in any way, shape or form. Those are my only problems with stealth.
-
If you miss a day, you don't get those rewards. I'm rlly only making sure I don't forget to log in on the day for the shards as I'm saving up for Kate's flower in the dark cosmetic.
But yeh. You need to login every day to get the stuff. If you've already completed the rift, you won't get fragments.
-
For me your Jill's are my Dwelfs. Annoying ######### they are, cannot stand them. Sorry to anyone who isn't an annoying survivor who just likes those cosmetics but yeh I will kill off a Dwelf first off if I have the chance. If it's not Dwelves, it's Leons. If it's not Leons, it's Cheryl's, Steve's and sometimes Nancy's.
Jane's and Nea's in my experience have been the ones that think they're good when they get clapped in 0.5 seconds. I was playing the Artist earlier and had this Jane flashlight click and went down twice due to my sniping and she killed herself on hook. Another match I was playing Ghostface for my daily and had this bully squad consisting of a Nea, Nancy, two Fengs. Nancy kept following me around revealing me until I got tired of her ######### and hooked her so I could sneak around the map freely. They did the whole shebang of teabagging, organizing their pallet camps, locker stuns, clicking once then running back towards me, dead harding past me then it all went wrong at a pallet. All were injured and killed themselves trying to get that pallet save. Little did they know I had noed + blood warden at the ready but they did my job for me. I then had a Freddy daily where this Leon kept teabagging me throughout the whole match, unhooking in my face being a cocky prick. I killed the rest of his team thanks to him. Ended up face camping him when it was just him and Mikaela. I let Mikaela go, I didn't care about her but Leon was not getting off that hook. I've had a steady headache for 2 days now so my patience has been relatively thin.
Point being a lot of the time they think they're good but they're not. They rely on cheesy tactics that are "cool" to "juice". I can respect the player that can actually 360 me but clicking and then the spin + dead harding past me hoping I'll swing and miss is a no from me.
-
Ugh I love that build you have on. I haven't tried it myself yet but on Nurse sounds absolutely beautifully disgusting. I play Nurse on occasion but not as often as I'd like because like you said, she's hard to play and it's super frustrating sometimes but what made me appreciate her strength and any steady Nurse mains is one of the first matches I played when I was playing more "serious" with Nurse (previously didn't take my matches seriously all survivors were merely my guinea pigs until I got the hang of her) and I got a bully squad. All loaded up with flashies, DS, teabags, the whole shebang babey and I 4k'd that match. Nurse don't give a ######### about your DS and it's beautiful. But I'm in no way a good Nurse. Just a mediocre gamer who sometimes gets lucky but I was pleased with that outcome.
I got off topic but that's a good build for Nurse I'm gonna have to try one day when I feel more confident in my Nurse's skill but as of right now I do not feel confident taking on a 4 man streamer swf. I tip my off to you and I genuinely mean it. I respect the hell out of you and anyone who steadily mains and plays Nurse.

He lacks map pressure and a lot of Tricksters I notice spend too much time on one survivor when that survivor is using what's he's weak with against him is where a lot of them have downfalls or the survivor moves like crazy and it makes it harder to land a knife. Places like shack and high walls are nightmares and instead of dropping chase, they'll stick to it and lose 2 gens for it. Or some Tricksters use the bat to get survivors off gens when the knives are more effective / having a survivor in a sweet spot in say a corner but using the bat actually costs Trickster more distance and the loss of a chance of a quick follow up so the knives to get the injured and follow up with the bat; it's like the same rules applying with Huntress. He has knives through... That's it. It's like Legion but Legion has more going for them. At least they get information from their frenzy stabs, Trickster doesn't.
Most importantly, the more knives you throw, the slower you are. Precision requires patience. A Trickster with good aim can take each knife with patience. I usually have slow starts with Trickster but build up as the match progresses. I usually make a real dent in the mid game but that's just a me thing. It also doesn't help being on controller where the aim + recoil is harder especially when a survivor is hugging a rock annoyingly tight. And I play games like Lfd / b4b, Apex where I'm decent with aiming... Go figure.
Those are my guesses anyway why his kill rate is so low.
-
I don't. It was one of my least favorite maps as killer and survivor and ST is one of my favorite shows so you'd think I'd love the map (same for RE: I dislike that map in dbd but love it in its game) but dbd has the habit I suppose of making the licensed maps terrible. Lol
What I'm sad about in terms of ST is future players never having a chance to play as Nancy Wheeler, Steve "the hair" Harrington or our beloved demodog. The characters were / are fantastic but the map was meh. It had a nice aesthetic though I'll give it that.
-
This is why I use Kindred almost each time I play. I do use the fast arm flailing to signal I'm being camped / insidious face / camped and instead I guess my teammates take and interpret my flailing as a sign to come get me only to get mowed down or grabbed sooo... Arms flailing mean nothing in solo queue unfortunately.
-
Underrated killers? Hm. I play Legion, probably one of the most underrated killers. Hag, Trapper (I consider Trapper to be my best killer, I get the most post game salt with him but no DCs and with Hag I get at least four consecutive DCs a day when I play her but no salt it's so weird). I've also been dedicating a ton of time to play Trickster on console and I really enjoy playing him more than I thought I would. Sometimes I'll play Clown, Myers, Ghostface but not as often as the ones I listed above. I don't have a "main" killer, it's just whoever I feel like playing in the moment really.
-
I'm probably not in high MMR with Trapper yet but I have been securing 3-4ks with him unlike my other killers and I am in the territory of DH, UB, DS, etc all the juicy stuff. You know the survivors very confident in themselves to teabag, want to juice you for ages and put it on Tik Tok.
The new map is terrible for him yes but I got 3k (would've been a 4k but I usually let one go via hatch unless I just want them dead) but I trapped up the main building knowing survivors love to try and abuse main buildings and the outer loops looked weaker so I trapped main building to force survivors to either step in the trap or try some fancy trick to get by me, chased outside but relied heavily on solid mindgames. Forget about trapping the outside, survivors will see the traps, no doubt about it, there's 0 chance of the traps not being seen unless you trap it in advance and push the survivor a certain way where they'll vault into it but unlikely and yeah he's basically useless in that map unless you create a massive dead zone with your 3-4 gen.
Outside the new map... I don't trap directly in front of pallets, I trap the heavy looping traffic. Survivors like to run it tight so my traps go there. I never put my traps in obvious places because that's the first place you'd go to inspect for traps. T and L walls, never at the window, always on a corner.
I use the addons Bloody Coil, Wax Brick, and honing stone. But also not all those addons together obviously. I do wax brick + honing stone or Bloody Coil + Secondary Coil but I do also love my Trapper Bag addon ngl. An extra trap does nice but I can do damage just fine with 2.
Trapper so far other than Nurse are the only two killers I'm regularly getting salt with. I trapped house of pain in Badham and 2 survivors rage quitted. I also tend to take note of my victims and their patterns. If there's a specific pathing they like to take, I trap it when they arent paying attention to me. One of my favorite maps to trap is Thompson House. The many Balanced Landing users I've caught in there... LOL.
Trapper's hard as the ranks climb up (yes I know grade does not equal MMR I'm referring to the royal ranks) but I dunno, I enjoy him a lot. It's quite humorous to me watching the Nea or Jane teabag me to Tennessee and back then take two steps forward to juice me only to hear a satisfying snap and scream. Even better when I hear two or more survivors simultaneously step in my traps and with honing stone, I dont gotta worry about them scurrying off while I'm occupied hooking one.
There are some matches you're just gonna lose no matter how well you're doing, it's the unbalance of the game for ya. If you're not enjoying Trapper, find another killer to play who you do enjoy even if you get wrecked that game. ❤️

Surprisingly, I did just face people who got major value out of this perk for real tonight despite my earlier joke.
They set the boon up in RPD, in an office near the library on the second floor. Then they just stood by the boon and let me down them.
I couldn't snuff out the boon because they made me down them on top of it and the "pick up" prompts were overriding it, but I couldn't pick anyone up because I couldn't make it to a hook from there. So they'd just wiggle out on repeat and go back on top of the boon.
If I left them alone, they'd revive and do gens on that side of the map until they heard my terror radius, in which case they ran right back up.
It was just kinda obnoxious tbh.
---
But I guess that's mainly RPD and the 5-year lack of proper key binding options for you.
I know exactly what spot you're referring to. One time I had a No Mither, Sabo, Breakout squad all congregate up to that one spot. Even picked the map and everything and parked it up there.
That spot is so busted, a hook needs to spawn in that room always at least. Not only 20% of the time.

I've lost a 4k because of it, although it only changed it to a 3k. Additionally, it was less this perks strength and more my stupidity as I literally saw the boon and thought "oh they must have circle of healing."

I can't buy the new killer yet so I can't tell you my opinions from the killer perspective.
I can't very well tell you how she is as survivor either because just about every one of my matches, no exaggerations, at least 2 teammates are dc'ing, killing themselves on hook or giving themselves to the killer in front of hooks. So the game lasts not even 2 minutes. I'm really getting annoyed with it. I really am. I haven't enjoyed this new chapter one bit because of all the rage quitting. I did have one normal game and she seems she could be super strong in the right hands. But take my opinion with a grain of salt, I haven't gotten the chance to play many full games against her.
-
Don't log in until further notice.

I 100% believe the new map will be disabled in an hour after the initial release tomorrow. Lol
-
You'll find in time you cannot reason or make survivors understand your pov of the situation. Twice in the last week I was playing Nurse and Trapper and my inbox got abused. I got a basement hook with Nurse and knew at that point in the game, the basement was money, I was going to defend it. Know why? I hear 2 other survivors injured surrounding main building waiting for save, not even waiting for me to leave. No way was I going to let three of them get an easy reset and lollygag freely. This survivor kept messaging me two days, hurling abusive language all because of that basement hook. I eventually blocked them after explaining my play and saying ggs, they continued, I blocked them.
Another survivor gave me salt for being smart with Trapper and defending my 3 gen. They messaged me ggs but they were also trash talking me as if I was a fellow survivor saying they "juiced" me at the beginning of the game and that I was a sad killer when in reality I wasn't going to chase him away from my 3 gen until he stepped in my trap in my zone. I just replied with a smile face and said ggs.
The moral of this story is just say ggs and move on, there's no sense of attempting to have a conversation with them when all you're gonna be met with is abuse which I don't understand. When I'm survivor and I run into a Slinger with an all hex build that's quite frankly dirty, I'll message them ggs and their build was dirty good. I just don't get survivor mains.
-
I'll always find it funny how Dwight players act like the biggest dicks in this game but in reality to their lore, Dwight Fairfield most likely has never even had sex so ppl are getting tilted with a virgin dwelf.
I dunno, just quite amusing to me.
-
I don't even play with DH so unfortunately I cannot partake in the social experiment.
-
Played a solo q match earlier with Pinhead. Before I continue further I'd like to point out this Pinhead was the 5th one I played against in two days.
The other 4 did not run Hoarder + Franklin's. One of the four did 4k, he did well with pressuring us. It was a hard game for him I'm sure as there was only 1 gen left.
Now the 5th... I was playing solo q as I mentioned, someone put in a Badham offering and this Pinhead had both Iri addons, Hoarder's but no Franklin's. This was the only Pinhead game I played out of the five where two teammates dc'd.
I guess people really do not like both iris as they stand right now, those extra time to solve the box addons (this is one I don't care for) and you mix that in with Hoarder's and or Franklin's? DC city.

Do not post here if you are going for post count. You didn't watch the game, you didn't see anything.
I don't have to see the game. You just told everyone what happened through your tone of salt so no one needs to see it.
Learn where he's weak and abuse it. I don't know what else you want to hear or people to tell you other than "Git Gud" since Trickster is so weak he doesn't need nerfs.
Anyway, that's my thought on it. If you still view it as "post count"... Ok booner.
-
All I'm hearing is salt.
I don't know why survivors unhook in front of a Trickster's face, that is precisely why lol
-
People are rage quitting for so many small things like getting downed first or getting caught in a locker by a gen which is where your aura was when I looked at BBQ sooo.. I had a Nea the other night DC because I found her via a crow flying off. A crow is what made her DC. A crow.
I don't think removing the DC option will be of any use, survivors could rage quit via force restart their game. Or sabotage the match (i.e, fast jumping in and out of a locker, following the killer begging to be hooked, killing themselves on hook, etc. You get the picture).
You could make the penalty harsher but the only issue I'd see with that is when the game has its crashing parties and people would get punished heavily unfairly for it.
Maybe the game needs distinction between a disconnect via the button and its servers crashing / crashed. I don't know if this would even be possible but if it could, that could be a thing. With the disconnect distinction system, rage quitting would cost you a pip, the BP you would've earned, a penalty and maybe a punishment of double reduced bloodpoints for a short period of time after your penalty has been removed.
-
I didn't understand the Doctor's power / add-ons. He had the add-on to have the red stain and terror radius on you so I thought I was being chased for a while (also before I started panning my camera to look back so I never looked behind me). I ended up throwing pallets everywhere because I was being "chased". I also panic vaulted a window cuz I just saw a brief appearance of Doc who I thought was just staring at me without knowing he could make illusionary mirrors of himself and hid.
Doc really tripped me up ngl and he was one of the first killers I went against in this game. I bet my teammates and the killer just watched me go around throwing pallets lololol

I’m not upset, I’m despondent. It’s been literal years since I’ve been upset at any game for longer than half an hour. I cannot bring myself to stop caring, however, ‘cuz then I stop caring about even playing the game, which I don’t want to.
I “waste” my energy for it because I’m not the only one. Leatherfacecampers aren’t in every game, sure, but I’ve had 3 in a row last week. As an average survivor, I shudder to think what the lower ranks are like, who are utterly powerless against it. They don’t know about the venus survivor trap that is Insidious Bubba. They don’t know that doing gens is really the only option. And for them, there’s a very real chance the Bubba gets the 4k by sheer chase-to-down speed.
It’s the game’s design, yes. But what I’m saying is that it shouldn’t be. Mori’s were also just “the tools provided”, but we all know how ######### those were.

See, that’s the peculiar thing. I’m at the point where I can probably call myself a killer main, yet I rarely have such games. Being facecamped, or at least, having a facecamper in the game is actually more common for me than me being genrushed.
Yeah, I see what you're saying. It's terrible game design and many people use it for EZ wins or if they got salty, they know they can 100% confirm a kill. Bubba is perfect for avenging his salt.
And definitely right about the low ranks. My sister barely plays this game, she's as low as MMR can be and if it weren't for me informing her ahead of time before she began playing this game, she'd been toast but her low MMR team falls for it. She's usually the hatch escapee in that situation. She feels bad for the person getting camped but she is smart enough to just do gens when she realizes there's a mysteriously random chainsaw sound coincidentally followed by a teammate downed in the basement by the hooked survivor. So there's 4ks. A lot of them in low ranks with Bubba. Not a very good experience for the new player who is learning the game and is vibing and Bubba just... face camps them to death.

Genuinely surprised people are actually defending leatherfacecamping.
One player is being denied from playing the game, and how? By their opponent doing nothing. All they have to do is exist within a space of 5 meters of the hook, and that survivor is guaranteed dead. They’re supposed to just to spend another 2 minutes waiting, knowing full-well that anyone coming in for the save is dead as well.
And why? Because the Bubba got salty and has to express their fictional superiority over the other player, who may not even have had anything to do with it. Or because they genuinely enjoy it, though I’ll never understand why. Or just because they’re creatures that revel in the unwarranted creation of salt. With exception of the middle one, I’d actually call that toxic. Buzzword, I know, but honestly? I’m so goddamn sick of this.
”Do gens” Ah, yes, let me do gens from the basement from a crusty meathook. I am totally content with getting 7k BP at most on an already BP-starved role. I will always get teammates that know what’s going on and won’t try to fruitlessly bait out the Bubba.
And there’s absolutely nothing I can do beyond that first chase. It doesn’t even matter where I go down. He can do it anywhere. Hell, he doesn’t even need to hook me. And even if I do get hooked, I can’t suicide, ‘cause then Bubba has more time to go after others. “Just tab out”, I hear you say? Yeah, no, that really shouldn’t be necessary.
Also, it’s just 2 minutes. Unless y’all got BNP’s and Prove Thyself, that’s not even all that long. He will find another survivor, and will down them, and will sentence them to watching a 3D screenshot for 2 minutes as well. If he doesn’t, he’s actually just a poor player. More often than not, he’s really not, though. It’s just way too easy for him to do, and actually get results from it as well.
Why get upset about it? I know and understand there's nothing the player can do and it's unfun but why let yourself get upset over it? It's just one game unless you're getting several Bubba's in a row. I used to get upset over it too, had this exact feeling but then one day I just stopped being upset over it happening and don't care anymore if Bubba's insidious face camping me in the basement or anywhere. It's game design, not the player. Players are only using what tools are given to them unfortunately. Just seems like a bonus to have insidious, iron grasp and agitation to the camping Bubba's toolkit but yeah, why waste your energy being upset about it?

You wanna know how I did Trickster's challenges being console myself? Farming. I don't like farming but I'll never get my challenge done otherwise because he is awful to play on console. If he didn't have that recoil I might actually legit play him more but I can't stand to play him because of the recoil.

Why you rebuff Bubba's affections? Das rude.
