Pretty sure that's the Legion mains who get bullied a lot.

I play Legion a lot, dunno if I'd consider myself a Legion main (if I do, I'm a Susie main all the way babey) and surprisingly, I don't get bullied using them. It's mostly when I play Hag or Ghostface (with GF, the teabagging I'm always a bit confused on when it happens if it's to be toxic or meme) but mostly Hag and I don't understand why. My traps are not in bad spots, really good actually and it really confuses me why on earth are you teabagging and flashlight clicky clicky me when all of you are injured and or half of your team is dead with you on your last legs I do not understand it.

  • I thought it was only me tbh. I rarely play killer anymore at night. If I want any good games, I have to play from roughly 8am to around 5-6pm. After the 5-6pm time rolls around, I get matched with SWFS. Sometimes toxic, sometimes not. Yeah I don't get enjoyment out of it either, I find I'm seriously outmatched and way below my skill set. If I could tell the MMR that I'd like to be more skillful before taking on red rank SWFS I would but I get matched with them anyways. The only time I can win with SWFS is if they're not well with coordination, make mistakes I can punish them for or if I'm feeling super sweaty and or savage that day where even Satan and his minions are outmatched. It sucks because I would like to have chilled games all around but nope, can never quite be chilled in DBD.

  • "Killrushers" LOL Try playing killer in a lobby of 4 toolboxes with brand new parts and or coordinated af then we'll talk.

  • @BrokenSouI said:

True. Im learning nurse ATM. And basically every match is people running behind me clicking their flashlight, tbagging, and using every second of the gate being opened before they escape. Why they feel the need to do this. Idk

I feel this so hard. I literally cannot play nurse but I pick her back up ever so often because I do want to get better at her to play her at a decent level but I can only do it in small doses because sometimes when I do try to play her again, I get teabagged and clickity click after they realize I suck at her. Sometimes it really is off putting to try to learn these killers when people decide it's okay to bully and make them feel bad for not mastering said killer like the challenge they came across a few games ago but in this game, I've really try to strengthen my already thick skin and remind myself I just need to practice more and more so that helps less on being so hard on myself about it. I'm finally getting the hang of huntress, landing some good shots after games where I absolutely could not land a hit and got teabagged to hell and back. Sighs, people suck I think is the general answer.

  • I've actually known about this game since 2016 - 2017 but I didn't take the plunge on it until later. I saw many Twitch streamers and YouTube vids on it though.

  • I'd say I feel bad they got destroyed so brutally but coming from red rank SWFS with comms, they would've bullied without a second thought.

You are a godsend. Keep rolling them.

  • Playing killer I assume? I agree it is a rough gig for us killer mains. Usually if I see a TTV in my lobby and I am not in the mood, I vacate. The other night with Twins there was a TTV and I destroyed them. Sucks they weren't streaming right then and there so I could've revelled in the salt 'cuz they were acting sweaty so I can imagine there was some salt in comms that I got robbed of hearing.

Nah but seriously, I'm sorry you feel this way. Maybe try to lobby dodge if you see a TTV player? Although you won't know until after the match if the killer was a TTV streamer (if you were playing survivor). If playing survivor, just play as you would normally, it sucks if they're recording (lol I'm recorded on a TTV's stream 'cuz I was kinda trolling and didn't realize it was a TTV until after the match. They were genuinely like ######### lmao) but there's nothing you can do about it sadly.

  • As someone who solo q's a lot with a genuine idea of what to do in the game (I'm not a looper, I am currently always practicing to improve so I can strengthen and benefit my team more) I know that is my weakness so I rely on stealthier tactics to get my job done. Last night, I had a match where this was working splendidly, two gens left but there was a Jake. Now this Jake... Good grief. I like to have a general idea where my teammates are, which gen they're working on and lead the killer away if I get caught because at least if I go down, I brought him ways away from my teammate(s) on a gen so they have time to finish it. This Jake I could've strangled. He single handedly brought the killer to his teammates every time. One teammate died because he kept unhooking right in front of the killer. Now where the saga with him and I begin is in killer shack. There was a gen, another teammate was keeping him occupied so I could do a gen (leading him away from where I was working. In this case, they knew what to do) but I guess he found Jake, chased him and Jake ran right into killer shack where I was working on a gen. Now I thought maybe it was an accident 'cuz it happens but he did it again moments later when I moved to another gen and another. I died after I found his ruin totem (I was on second hook immediately after the first because this Jake simply could not wait to unhook me while the killer was a foot away like guys, make sure the killer vacates the area before you hook someone). It was a mistake, admittedly, on my part to associate myself with this Jake. My point? You can't rely on your teammates at all. Especially in solo q.

I'd think more on the lines of stealthy and go full on self survival mode if you notice you were in a chase and you did really well and at least two gens should have popped as you went down but instead your teammates seemed like they decided to get some cookies mid game so brb or bringing him to you while going off to hide. Do what you need to do to get those gens done because solo q survivors can really screw you over and bond isn't gonna do jack when it comes to survivors who sit on their keyboard or controller twiddling their thumbs. If you have Elodie, I'd very much recommend using her perk Appraisal along with Plunderer's Instinct, you can rummage through chests mid game when things seem like they're falling through the cracks because of potato survivors and sometimes you can find a key or a rainbow map. These are two of the items I find mostly. If a killer realizes you're holding a key in the lobby, you are basically asking to be tunneled and camped to ensure you perish to the god that is the Entity.

Or you could run SWF with pals. That always makes survivor more fun for me since it's with people I can communicate with that, "Hey I'm on this gen in killer shack, maybe try to lead the chase away? If you have no choice, let me know so I can get out of dodge." With potato q's? LOL good luck trying to finish a gen and not have a Jake deliver the killer a survivor pudding.

This was in purple ranks btw.

Getting DS on my p3 nancy took like 70 lvls.

I can believe it. I have Laurie, the DS' original host and I still only have tier 1 DS on her despite levelling up. So annoying honestly.

  • @Baby_Victor said:

Yeah, getting BBQ on Twins recently was a nightmare. Wish DBD would adopt the CoD idea that when prestiging, you can choose one perk to carry over.

Be nice to be able to P3 my killers with a BBQ already stashed in my back pocket.

I definitely need BBQ too for my killers and I'm not looking forward to another ANC wait time. :// That'd be a neat idea btw. Save some time for a lot of people spending 1M bloodpoints just for their favorite perk say, STBFL for instance. I'd carry the Nurse's Calling perk over in a heartbeat.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Just keep getting perks. Once you’re level 50 you can get 2 per web.

I know how it feels though I spent like a week of sweating trying to get WGLF on Quentin

Sounds legit. This is the longest I've ever waited for a perk to appear that I desperately want / need and of course it's my luck it doesn't wanna give it up to me lol

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

Honestly I think the game knows which perks are top tier and keeps them till last.

DS/WGLF/IW? The final 3 perks but don't worry, This Is not Happening will be tier 3 before you've even hit level 10.

BBQ/ANC/PGTW? Hope you didn't want any of those, here's Zanshin Tactics and Iron Grasp!

This actually makes somewhat of sense except IW (got it unlocked recently and I now have it for two of my survivors :')), I have This Is Not Happening on just about each of my played survivors along with Resilience. On the killer side, Monstrous Shrine keeps appearing and Iron Grasp along with Unrelenting. It's like, I don't care about these perks, give me my Nurse's Calling! But alas, my pleas and subtle irritation is going unheard lmao

  • I have a few mains with Ghostie boy and Legion being two of them and.... It me.

  • Favorites:

    • Hag
    • Twins
    • Huntress
    • Pig
    • Ghostface
    • Legion (bonus)

    Least favorites:

    • Bubba
    • Myers
    • Oni
    • Clown
    • Trapper
  • Bbq is nice for the points and all but for Hag, it isn't really useful I don't think? Sure you'll know which direction they're going but you can easily push survivors to your side of the trapped map. Maybe use anti gen perks such as ruin, surge, possibly thrilling tremors (gives great information where the survivors are currently at and if you need to push them away from that area) or corrupt intervention that'll buy you time to set up your traps and establish territory at the start of the game. Hag is a defensive killer that is like a spider making a web.

Sloppy is good too as it slows down the healing (if you're using the waterlogged shoe add on or any add on that removes her teleports I'd suggest a nurse's calling) perks like insidious, or any real aggressive perks aren't necessary since Hag is defense rather than offense. Though it's totally possible to play a complete aggro Hag so if that's your style... Feel free to slap those on but it's probably not gonna do much for you if you're playing her as low-key, setting her traps and poking survivors in the path of a trap.

Trap placements: I'd recommend placing traps in drop down points the survivors will trigger trying to out chase you or paths survivors are traffic heavy. You can place traps in front of gens / hooks but if you're dealing with a competent team that aren't potatoes, they'll just crouch over those so then your option is to place them heavily in drop down points, heavy traffic area, of course looping spots, etc. Teleportation is not always necessary. When a survivor triggers a trap, you can guess they'll turn around and run the other way and if you were chasing them, well... Slap.

Just some tips I've found to be effective. Hag was my first main little monster and she still is, she just shares the spotlight with other killers from time to time lol

I also add that if you like the strat of leaving Victor with your hook (Twins) then you might wanna try Fire Up. People forget that Fire up let’s you pick up and drop survivor quicker. So down survivor, walk them to hook, drop them and put out Victor, then pick up and hook. Saved more time then downing, looking for hook, bringing out Victor, placing him under hook, picking up and walking survivor (hoping nobody kicks him before you hook survivor).

Just a underrated killer perk tip.

As a Twins main, I didn't realize the potential with Fire Up for them that's interesting... I will have to try to keep that in mind when I unlock the perk from Freddy. My current build for them is ruin, oppression, coup de grace, and I forget the fourth but I don't have many good perks unlocked in my bloodweb yet. :( But I love controlling little Victor and landing a successful pounce and him latched on to a survivor's back. 😂 But anyways, I will def keep that perk in mind in the future!

  • Survivor: Inner strength, Windows Of Opportunity (since my mind sometimes blanks when the killer is hot on my tail it's very useful to me), POWER STRUGGLE. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a killer be so confused as to who threw the pallet on him as he scours the area for my rescuer.

Killer: deerstalker for when I'm feeling spicy in slugging (and okay sometimes I lose track of where they crawled off too and often times... They lead me right to their teammate who was healing them off the ground like thanks!), Hex: The Third Seal. Having them blind as bats to where their teammates are on the ground or on hook lmaooo. Hex: No One Escapes Death. This one I'll throw on if I detect toxic in the lobby screen and usually I'm right when they start teabagging throughout the game. I'm petty leave me alone. And lastly... Franklin's for the reasons listed with NOED.

    🤷

    This

I can't speak for other killers but I commonly play as Bubba cause Bubba be fun to play as. It's also weird how many people are so bad playing against him, which is a nice bonus.

It's like that scary movie where you laugh at the main character because they run upstairs instead of out the front door except they run into an open field vs Bubba instead of all those tight corners in the trees...

I can attest attempting to run from Bubba in an open field is a sure fire way to end your life (found this out the hard way when I was a complete noob lmao) whenever I see Bubba coming, I take my butt somewhere I can confidently avoid his chainsaw and maybe force him to use his m1 instead.

    Open area = death.

Area with looping spot, trees, vaulting areas = chance at a second life.

  • @TimeOutTimmy said:

I must be the odd one... I love facing off against a good Deathslinger.

You're not the only one. I take pride in dodging what I'd say from the killer was a great shot. I used to loathe going against him but honestly it's kinda fun these days.

  • I don't play Bubba but I can imagine how satisfying it must be to down 2-3 people with the chainsaw at once. Lol when he revs up his saw, just hug whatever tight space you have or vault very very quickly and you should be fine. Honestly he's not the best looper much like me which is probably why I can loop him so well sometimes. 😂

  • Face camping sucks. It's happened to me countless times but to some killers, it's a legitimate strategy. Especially when they notice your teammates are altruistic to hell. Other times, the killer only screws himself with a 1k (which is unfortunately the camped person in this case). Honestly I'm never upset when I'm getting face camped if my teammates are ignoring him and me dangling on that fine hook. As long as they're doing gens... I will stay in the struggle phase until I can't no more which is usually when my team gets 2-3 gens done with him camping. They usually finish it pretty quickly after my death. Sometimes randoms aren't complete potatoes. Other times I'm shaking my head because I see all three of their auras racing in for the save. I've been at the receiving end of face camping and it is so so annoying, I feel you. Sucks to have your bout of fun ripped from you in that very second.

I'd advise to play with friends. Had a match the other night with my friends and low and behold a camping Bubba. He had our friend on a hook and was camping. Now in this case, since the teammates aren't randoms, we devised a plan and it worked. It's not impossible to beat out a face camping / camping killer, it just needs a solid plan.
