Bubba is a very decent and strong killer. His true strength shines when you are hooked in the basement, no other killer can give you as much pressure then bubba can when you are in the basement unless your nurse.
This is quite true. Whenever I'm playing survivor and Bubba takes one of my teammates to the basement I'm always wondering if he's insidious waiting for the rest of us. 😂 All jokes aside, he is a dangerous threat when he has you in basement, it can all be ggs from there.

While that would be cool to have John as a killer, it is not in his character. He states it himself he is against killing. He tells Hoffman when he abducted him: "Killing is distasteful. To me." John wasn't about the murder, he was about testing his subjects, their will to live. It was never about killing them but them saving themselves through their own strength of will to appreciate what they are fortunate enough to have. John doesn't view himself as a murderer, he tells Eric Matthews in the second film, "I've never actually killed anyone." So he doesn't really work in the Entity's realm. Amanda on the other hand, began rigging her traps, making them unwinnable. She has little faith in humanity, is intensely emotional (especially in anger) but yearns for a guidance (although she found her guidance through John) which may have been why the Entity chose her? I could be wrong, I haven't delved into Amanda's psyche enough to really know for sure.
A suitable replacement choice for John as a skin would be Hoffman. Hoffman was a very brutal, vengeful and vindictive person. He went through MASSIVE lengths to get Jill after she fulfilled John's last wish as part of his will (hehe the origin of one of Amanda's add ons) which was to test Hoffman. Although part of me is inclined to believe Hoffman would've been more of a defiance to the Entity as he liked control which is probably why the Entity did not choose him but rather Amanda. Amanda was really the perfect option as well as a fan favorite.
What I'd love to see is a new outfit for Amanda in the Jigsaw robe aka John's robe. I'm surprised they haven't added it yet to be honest.

Because as killer, having that one (or even two or I even had THREE OoO's one time) survivor with the perk, who you couldn't mind game because they could see your move before you did it, cancelling out any galaxy brain moves, it basically being abused by toxic swfs was fun? If you ran solo q with it along with SS and not in the toxic category, I can see why it's upsetting then but it definitely needed to go nonetheless. I'm glad it got reworked. Absolutely despised it beforehand for obvious reasons I just mentioned. Good riddance. Now I might even consider running it myself because it's a decent perk now. I like it. I like it a lot.

Sprint Burst really helps me with Wraith. I also look out for his shimmer in advance so I can run to a safe tile. I've made an uncloaked Speedy Gonzalez Wraith eat a whole pallet a couple times. It's always beautiful.
Basically: Sprint Burst and vigilance. :)

As a survivor I have major respect for them as I run a No Mither build on Tapp (No Mither, Tenacity, Iron Will, Unbreakable) so I know the struggle.
As a killer I always make sure to give them as much of a chance as the rest of them, by not tunneling them out of the game and only slugging them if I catch them quickly after being unhooked.
Why run both No Mither AND Unbreakable if No Mither is basically infinite Unbreakable? Not asking to be rude, I don't play David or use No Mither but from my understanding of the perk, it's basically infinite Unbreakable, no? Or am I missing something about the Unbreakable + No Mither combo?

Twins are actually considered one of the strongest killers, its that a lot of killer players don't like the more "scummy" playstyle of proxy hook camping with Victor. It's a dull playstyle but very strong.
I agree with this. They're actually very strong and can demolish a team in a matter of minutes in the right hands which is why I love them personally. But everywhere I hear they're weak when they're actually not. They're the best with a scummy playstyle that is best pulled off by someone who has no issues playing dirty or scummy. Playing nice with Twins is a sure way to lose.
-
"getting hits with victor isn't really a challenge." Lolololol K.
I used to main Twins before their nerf, I play Freddy from time to time and simple answer is because I can, because it's fun to see the dcs, it's fun landing those hits with Victor. The ones you say are oh so easy and most importantly, it's so fun to relish in the salt from people who can't believe they just got bested by one of the "worst killers in the game". Must be embarrassing losing to a barely 3 foot full grown baby man. Can't relate because my ego isn't the size of Jupiter.
And last but not least: they're fun. Why do you main your main survivor? Because you like them and you can right? So kinda a hypocritical question imo.
-
I just mentioned it in another comment I made but askdj like someone else said, it always starts out with: "Ah, it's Trapper, k." And when those traps start catching my teammates one after the other, it's in that moment I realize... This trapper ain't playing around. I don't like the feeling of not being safe around the map. Even parts of the map I know aren't trapped, I get intense anxiety especially around grass, pallets, windows and shack. Stepping into a trap exudes a lot of profanities and at the endgame just leaves me with gg well fckin played lol
-
Demooooo. I get all !!! When it's a demo even if I get slaughtered by him. Bubba surprisingly only because I've gotten to where I like the satisfaction of running him around as long as I can (accepting I will probably be face camped for it and I'm not making it out of this match alive) and a good huntress. I like to mentally compliment them on any wicked shots.
Detest going against Nurses', Spirits', Freddies, and really good Hags and Trappers only because I do not like the feeling of no safety where I have to mind all areas of where I'm going and nothing makes me say all kinds of profanities when I SEE a trap, go to disarm and somehow stepping on it instead.

So now it's officially three weeks till the 5th-anniversary broadcast, and they just revealed the logo aka the 5. And if we remember last year they used the 4 to show us that the killer was Pyramid Head. However, they may not pull the same trick like they did last time but just to double-check I have to ask...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OAON10AM3B8Z/image.png
Does anything stick out about it, or look familiar from RE at all? Let me know please this will help us figure out what the next killer could be or which RE game they are working with to bring into the game.
EDIT: Spelling error
Hmmm. Someone else already pointed it out how the 5 looks like the 3 off the original RE3 cover and I agree it does.
The thing on the left... Idk what that could be. The only that springs to mind is RE7. It looks like the goop (idk how to explain it; those familiar with RE7 might know what I'm getting at) but I HIGHLY doubt that's right or it's a reference to RE7. I'm confident there's something RE3 in this chapter though whether it's a map, killer or survivor.
I honestly do not know though for sure, I'm so curious I wanna know who it is already!! Siiighs.

I think the only real true gen rushing is when there's more than one survivor with toolboxes with all bnps and group up on each gen with maybe Prove Thyself which is freaking annoying but whatever.
Other than that, it's simply your lack of map and gen pressure. I'm guilty of this myself when I play killer sometimes, I'll realize it too late into the game I'm losing, the gens are flying because I'm not giving them any reason to get off. If you hook one person at a time, one gets off the gen and go rescue. The other two have complete freedom. There is no reason for them to get off. Now when there's a teammate hooked, one down and one being chased, obviously the one that's completely safe needs to do some damage control.
Sometimes man, teams just play so optimally.
-
You're not the only one. Match after match, they don't give me humans for teammates, they give me potatoes. Very rarely have I gotten a game where people weren't potatoes. Went against a Hag earlier and I swear it felt like I was babysitting a bunch of rank 20s because they had no clue to freaking crouch or set off traps at the correct time. I was thoroughly confused for a second when I was on a gen and like 10 seconds later, a wild Hag phantasm appears beside me I know I didn't trigger. Then I seen a wild Feng running away and then they had Hag chase them around a hooked teammate. It's supposed to be Star Wars day but in dbd it's potato day all day everyday.
Like 5 out of the I want to say nearly 20 games I've played today, I've escaped with my whole team or just shy a teammate. I've felt like I've had to do gens, be in a chase AND do the saving cuz idk what my teammates were doing the whole time but that's solo q and I hate it.

Tldr. My first game back today after a few days, I ran a Bubba for 3 gens before he finally downed me. Solo queue. Despite my gymnastics signaling I was being camped, all 3 of the other survivors came to try to rescue me. Since he was Bubba, all 3 went down one after the other and then I died. This killer was complete trash. I don't give a ######### what justification you want to try to make up for it. He sucked.
You deserve a medal for running big boy around for that long. If you didn't have such potato teammates, he would've only gotten a 1k at your expense (which is unfortunate ofc) but honestly solo queue players don't seem to grasp camping bubba = death with altruistic saves. Idk about you but I'm usually pleased when I run a bubba for a long period of time and I finally get face camped as long as my team gets out which only 10% of the time that's what happens. 90% of the time? Well you experienced it. Sorry to hear you had a crummy time, friendo.

Let’s be honest though, according to most survivors if you attack the same person more than one time per match you’re a filthy tunneller lol.
My fave: "Why tunnel / camp bro?" As if you and another survivor weren't swarming the hook and I clearly saw a weak link of the group and I have 2 gens left to defend.... Geez.

I've heard a few people say the RE may feature Jack Baker or the new Vampire lady, but after watching the teaser, i think i noticed something.
Umbrella charm: There's a charm with the umbrella symbol, if this is a hint to what the characters might be in the chapter, we can rule out Jack and Vampire because, as far as i know, Umbrella had nothing to do with them.
Map: In the teaser we see a guy put on a hook, if this is happening in the new map, its not a snowy village or swamp family home. Also, its raining, we have to remember which RE games featured rain.
Zombies: We can hear zombies in the background of the teaser. If we think, there aren't any zombies in 7, and it doesn't look like there are any in 8 (unless you count those hooded guys in the cellar)
But if you asked me, i'd say the chapter has something to do with RE 2 or 3. Umbrella, rain and zombies played in both of these games. Also there's a chance the map could be the mansion from the first game because its the only game in the original trilogy that features a forest atmosphere.
But this is just be thinking out loud, i'm still open to anything to happen in the chapter, i just think the original trilogy and its characters have a better chance to be involved in the chapter.
I made a post on my prediction for the RE chapter but long story short, I'd think they'd follow the pattern of Silent Hill and incorporating different games into one chapter and I don't think it'll be Jack or the Lady Dimitrescu but if some how or another they give us the vampire I'm gonna be upset tbh (seriously what is with everyone and their thirst?) But yeah, good observations. :)

Lack of adrenaline in the chase for me I suppose. There's nothing wrong when someone wants to play stealthy. I don't hate it but I do live for the chases and the rewarding feeling of ending the chase and making a good play which resulted in a down. It gets boring for me when only 2 survivors are left, it turns into a game of hide and go seek and basically whoever I catch first as they simultaneously look for hatch and essentially sell the other out for hatch escape. But in game if I come back to a gen I just kicked and there's even a tiny bit more progress, I know someone's stealthily lurking around and usually with a quick and thorough inspection of the area, there is one and the chase begins. ^.^
Tldr; I like the action and thrill of the chase and hunt rather than hide and go seek.

YES. The inconsistent matchmaking, toxicity, massive grind, and lack of proper training mode make this game a NIGHTMARE for new players to get into.
I can attest to this. Me a baby killer at rank 20 in the day, getting paired with red rank swfs with flashies and bnp had me REELING. Me: is this what they call,,,, bullying???

Claudette's, Steve's, David's, neon colors Nea. Sometimes Nancy's. When I see them in lobbies, I just know I'm not gonna have a good time. With Nancy's, I don't realize they're toxic until mid chase or attention seeking with a flashie.
Tapp, Kate and Bunny Feng. Simply because I love them, main them and don't wanna kill them. D:

At the border between red and purple ranks (which is my skill level), I will get 0-1 kills if I try to rotate hooks to get a 12 hook. It simply isn't feasible. It only works on people that are a few notches below the killer's skill level (and the killer is trying to be somewhat nice and/or double pip).
Found this out the hard way somewhere along green ranks. It just wasn't working and gens were flying so it makes sense to take advantage of the greedy unhooks, the weak link, no? The survivor rulebook is nowhere to be found for us killer mains. 😈
-
As @CornHub said, some people will never accept a loss so really, just play as you see fit, how the killer's power works, make the most rational decision in the moment, get your 4k and bask in the salt mine, not giving a F. Cuz it doesn't matter if you win or lose, people are still not gonna be happy about something.
-
The whole nerf is the reason I haven't been playing them much at all anymore and removed them from my mains list. Ridiculous they take an already weaker killer and make them even weaker. What they needed was a buff, not a freaking nerf at the very least. I'll probably pick them up again when they sort out the Twins' priorities.
Yeah they're masters at camping, slugging, so what? Better players know how to handle them. I for one never really needed to camp or slug much but 🤷 I swear people give more attention and love to an insidious basement Bubba but want twins nerfed to the ground. Go figure.
-
Oh yes. It's why I feel bad for the new people coming into DBD for the RE chapter to get used to the game before the chapter drops. Those newbies who catch glimpses of streamers playing, making it look easy and fun only to find themselves matched with toxic red ranks or just in general players with a ton of hours compared to the newbies and they have no idea what to do or how to handle certain situations. What's worse is veteran players can smell noob all over you and act accordingly. Will they give you a pity kill? Decide to bully for the lols or be bored super fast without any sort of challenge presented to them by their killer? Any of these can make a new player feel out of place or just Not Good.
I'd advise any new player to not take it so honestly to heart just starting out. Yeah it's gonna be rough until you find your footing and even then, players with thousands of hours still might stomp you but that's okay. Each experience is a learning one. Even the toxic SWFS. From the toxic SWFS I've gotten an idea how to deal with them compared to when I first started out and got steamrolled. Flashies are not a big deal to me anymore as often people with flashies will follow you around for flashie saves and if you anticipate it and play it well, you can really cause a snowball from there.
But as others have said, it just takes time and practice. If I'm in a good mood that day and I can detect a baby rank 18-20 Meg or Dweet paired with red rank, purple ranks (killer included) I'm like 🤗🤗🤗 and slaughter anyone trying to rat the baby out for their own survival.
-
Oh definitely. Playing nice will get you nothing but 0k and an endgame message of 'gg ez baby killer' but luckily for me, I play on console so I get to skip out on those endgame salt messages in chat but I have friends who play on pc. You wanna win, gotta tunnel the weak link and go savage mode in the other 3. Especially when the sweat squads are out which is a shame cuz I like playing killer to chill but it can never be quite chill in dbd can it?

From someone who sometimes play onesie Elodie cuz I simply find the outfit cute I can hopefully assure you that I do not know how to use a flashie to save my life and I find teabagging disgraceful. I've only ever teabagged once and it was after war with a face camping Bubba so it was well deserved but other than that, my onesie Elodie doesn't know how to be toxic lol
-
Well this just makes me sad. I main Kate and Nancy with Tapp, Yui and Feng following behind and I'm never doing toxic behavior. And I play Bunny Feng! I do notice when I play Kate and Bunny Feng, I do sometimes get tunneled and I don't understand why since when I play killer, I've only come across like 2 toxic Kates and 1 toxic Bunny Feng. I always aim to play my games showing not all Yui's and NANCY'S are toxic. Not all Nancy's are camping pallets waiting to drop one, stun the killer and teabag. I'm so pleased I've never seen a fellow Tapp main being toxic, they're generally the most wholesome and know how to stay on task. Honestly the times I've played killer and I could swear the Tapp was part ninja cuz I never saw him the whole game until I forced him out of hiding to rescue his team or never at all and he escaped.

This happened to me just the other night lol I was trying to get power struggle value by crawling my way to a pallet being fully recovered so when the killer would pick me up, BAM, and David comes and gets me up which is fine but then he tries to heal me in the tight space and the killer comes, he goes first being healthy (-_-), killer chases, David drops pallet on me and I'm on the other side and I go down.
I think it's because some people panic and drop a valuable resource without even thinking if a fellow survivor is behind them they just think 'must make it to pallet, must make it to this pallett.. yessss!!! .... oops didn't realize my teammate was behind me' unknowingly screwing over their teammate. If I know there's two of us and I'm ahead and we run to a pallet, I leave it so the other teammate can drop it and save their life because the killer was hot on our tail. This has happened quite a few times which is always awesome when you can help out a fellow survivor in any way but yeah I think some people panic drop. Sucks but if you notice the player panic drops, best to take notes and not be behind them in a chase lol
-
Dunno but my most golden dbd moment by far as been switching back to Victor as this Zarina was blinding him, charged a pounce and got her anyway. Blinding victor is dumb and shouldn't be a thing honestly.
-
It's so weird because I'm not that petty as survivor (I play both pretty equally) but I can be the most petty b**** on the planet as killer but those are stories for different days.
Now I have been sold out by teammates. Twice. The first incident was a Dwight. I don't remember the killer but I remember the Dwight very unfondly. Anywhere I kept going to repair a gen, he followed me and kept jumping in and out of the nearby locker, making himself scream and so when the killer came to investigate, Dwight took off and the killer got me, plucked me right off that gen (and this was Haddonfields map -_-) I'm the type of person that I don't fall for the same thing twice so when he tried it again, I casually crept away as he was looking like a fool and by the time the killer came back to investigate, he was hiding in another locker nearby and got caught immediately. I didn't save him that whole game (is this technically screwing over your teammates? I dunno). For a troll, he wasn't very bright.
The second time I got sold out generally did make me super tilted for like a hot second. It was the Midwich map, Wraith was the killer and I know for sure there was a David (he is relevant to this story) and I think a Meg but I don't remember the third but anyway. So the match starts off, I find a gen and work on it. Wraith shimmers by and it seemed like he was gonna be a friendly killer and I was like oh chill I'm gonna do these gens and maybe find some cool stuff in the chest to escape with. So there's like 2 gens left and I notice above me David gets downed and hooked and my first thought was he squandered the gift that is the friendly killer by BM'ing or something so I continue my gen, thinking our teammates would save him as I was pretty far away and the gen was almost done. They got him off the hook just before he reached struggle phase then he went down again and got hooked. I was coming to save him but he killed himself on hook. So there's one gen left at this point and I pop it finally. So as the fool I was, I was thinking this was a chill killer. I go to open the gates and he starts attacking me with my teammates not far behind him. Well I start running and as I'm turning around, I see Meg following me down the hall and pointing to wraith which direction I went. He got me. He hooked me. The other two teabagged and left. It was then my eyes were open and I understood what happened to David... May his soul rest in peace.
And I was a baby survivor both times. ;_;

Aren't they based on Mexican culture?
Tbh, I'm not a fan of Jane so I didn't know there even was one for her lol but in terms of killers, there aren't isn't any Mexican culture (aside from Frank and Julie who have their Mexican party costumes but that really shouldn't be counted as it's just a cosmetic). Maybe I should've specified I meant culture for an actual killer which is my mistake.

I noticed in high ranks some survivors will run self-care and if they are injured and you’re chasing them they will drop a pallet and start self-caring right in your face. Is there a tactical advantage to doing this? Is there a reason for it? It mostly feels like a slight dig at the killer more than anything. Like I think you’re such a non threat I’ll heal in front of you. Cause self-care takes so long it’s practically worthless if you have teammates to heal you.
I'm currently rank 12 since the reset and surprisingly, I go against red ranks and they're not really doing this. It's mostly purple ranks that do it to me and I haven't quite figured it out yet lol but I never take it personally or view it as BM. Sometimes when they feel confident enough in their looping abilities, they'll heal after a vault or especially after they throw the pallet and run again when you're back on their heels needing about 90-75% left for a full heal. If I can't catch them within a certain time frame, I will move on until I find them in a better (for me) predicament later. What tends to happen is if you chase them for so long and they get that heal, you're just going for a repeat situation and losing a bunch of gens 'cause you've given survivors no reason to get off gens. Either commit fast and end the chase or find a more suitable target. They're healing anyway, not on a gen so that buys you some seconds to find your next chase.

A weeping woman derived from Mexican culture would be AMAZING. I was just thinking the other week how there's no Mexican culture in DBB. We have Korean, Japanese, Chinese (well, Doctor originated off a real life doctor in China and we have Feng so kinda but not really?) But missing quite a few other opportunities from other cultures. A changling from Irish folklore culture would be cool, a killer from Thai culture, we've yet to have a siren like killer imo that'd be epic or brazilian culture creature or even some of America's classic mythic creatures (Jersey Devil anyone?) But back to La Llorona.
Ngl though the thought of a wailing woman from Mexican culture would be fantastic and I'd be so for it. Imagine her mori being similar to plague but only vomiting in to r mouth, she somehow grabs ahold of your neck and just viciously drowns you. If the Devs did it right, she could easily top tier alongside Spirit which is a.. frightening delicious thought.

I'm a huge RE fan so I'm super stoked about RE coming to DBD (for I know I will be shelling out the bones for the DLC in a heartbeat). So stoked I'll probably stake out the exact time of its release. Like that super stoked.
Anyways, onto the actual topic.
Killer:Nemesis is a good contender but as you've stated, he's well and probably too OP armored to be a killer. The devs would have to team with RE to kinda mold a power for him that fits both DBD and holds true to RE. Maybe they can do that... not quite sure yet. But here lies another issue with another hope held out fave Mr. X. There is a fanvid made of what Mr. X would look like in the game and while it seems neat in theory, he would simply just.. go around punching survivors to death. It'd be a pretty boring power to play as and against in my opinion. He'd have to get some kind of buff that is similar to Nemie's situation where both parties have to be in unison with the power.
Then there's Birkin. Another people hold out hope for to be the killer. Idk this might just be me, but it'd be a bit goofy seeing him, a mutated human with a huge f'ing eyeball smack into the wall and get bamboozled. Dunno, something just tells me not him. Wesker is another possibility but again, they'd have to rework his entire power from the game and I could actually see how they could work around it or mold his canon power to fit in with the fog.
Killer could also be one of the creatures such as Licker. That would certainly be an interesting angle. You've got smaller framed killers out here latching onto people's backs moving at the speed of lightning so why not? Lickers are blind though so idk how they'd fix that little pickle.
I'd say count out the vampire lady coming from Village because this is a big event for RE, they're most likely gonna wanna go down to the roots where it all begin to celebrate their 25 years. Maybe Jack Baker but again, I kinda see this one as a 30%-40% chance as he would make a dope killer given his kinda mold powers from RE7 but he's still kinda recent and not really a classic RE symbolism. Also, again, I'd count out probably the Revelations games' villains as it wasn't an entirely popular seller (although my favorite RE game is Revelations 1 so I'd be like !!!!! if they had Jill's scuba outfit or beach outfit). Unfortunately, I don't remember much about Code Veronica but I do know Matthiew quoted Claire from it but I also highly doubt it'll be anything from CV.
Survivor:My guesses are: Claire, Leon, Jill, Chris. Those four in particular. They essentially made RE. I'm guessing and highly hoping it'll be a ST situation where it's two survivors instead of one. It would be pretty epic to see Rebecca and Barry as survivors but my gut again tells me it's one of those four I mentioned above. Especially with the new Netflix show coming out for RE... Leon and Claire. Actually the more I think about it, the male doesn't even have to be questioned. It'll be Leon. He's a major beloved character and to some people is the face of RE so I can see RE and DBD appeasing the RE fanbase by delivering him.
Map:If we even get a map, I'd imagine it'd either be the Racoon City Police Department, The Spencer Mansion or maybe one of the Islands.
I think I'll be happy with almost anything they'll bring to the table. Ever since I got invested in this game, I've so wanted RE in so as far as I'm concerned... I can die happy. Lol

My best advice is to check out Raging Ryuga on YouTube. He has a ton of videos and tutorials including Legion in which he mains them. He's honestly, besides Otz, the best Legion player I know of.
For me personally since Legion is one of my 3 core mains (Legion, Hag and Piggy are my mains; I just can't choose one lmfao), the goal with the frenzy isn't to make them mend or get a down with the mend per se. It's more or less something to force survivors off the gens to mend to find and locate already (preferably) injured survivors and down them. Spread frenzy around, get them off those gens. For perks, my absolute favorite (by the time I found Ryuga to strengthen my Legion, I didn't realize we basically had the same build apart from like one or two perks) to use on them is Surge, a Demogorgon teachable. You'll want perks that aim to slow the game down so Thanatophobia is also a go. It'll slow down their repair time, cleansing speed, healing speed, etc. Surge is perfect on Legion as the perk suits M1 killers and makes surrounding generators explode. Bring in PGTW for more punch in your pack. If you're feeling spicy, you can use Nurse's to locate healing survivors but some survivors won't heal with Legion. I believe Ryuga also has a video in which he has the nastiest build on Legion you can imagine and it really is dirty but yeah, go with him or Otz and take notes. I can tell you first hand, I've improved my Legion play simply binging Ryuga Legion vids. :)

Ah, yes. That was before you realize how much you cannot rely on your solo q teammates when you see one self caring at the other side of the map, one hiding in a bush and or locker and one who is being chased to the ends of the earth while you're dangling on that hook. I'm better off running perks that actually benefit me (I.e, dead hard, Iron Will, etc).
Tldr; I just found it to be kinda annoying, seeing what the others are not doing lol

DS nerf was NOT AT ALL needed. It was survivors' only ticket to survival against tunneling and consecutive hooking with 60 seconds. And now it is gone if you repair, cleanse, heal, etc. Now more killers will enjoy tunneling, calling themselves pro killers and add to the toxicity.
How about the Devs do something meaningful for a change and resolve the tunneling and camping issue? Do you think low rank players enjoy getting tunneled and camped?
Also what next? Gen repair nerf or surv sprint speed nerf? Killers need to up their gameplay and strat, not have everything spoonfed by the game. And I say this as a killer myself. It disgusts me to see killers come crying here requesting for surv nerfs.
"It was the survivors' only ticket to survival against tunneling and consecutive hooking within 60 seconds."
No, it wasn't. You can counter tunnelers by being a good looper and if they want you bad enough... sorry pal, that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes especially in solo q, you have a lesser chance of surviving if you can't loop for nothing and no game will ever go your way one hundred percent. I've tend to find those who had DS and were DS dependent were one of two things. Either A: Toxic themselves in order to use it to get a good laugh at the killer and a good F you to them or B: terrible loopers who got caught slow vaulting a window during a chase in a very, very bad looping spot. It was abused daily and not for the sole intent on preventing tunneling, oh no. It was used when their dumbasses got plucked off a gen they were working on right in front of my face, it was used after being caught in a locker the killer obviously heard them go in because their ninja skills are apparently out of this world or killers are just deaf and it was used as toxic bait with all 3 of their friends had it too, they would all take turns DS'ing the stuffing out of you and none of this was tunneling, the last example was straight out bullying. The way it is now is balanced and exactly to prevent true tunneling and coincidentally, since this whole DS nerf I've only seen one person in the endgame screen have it on their perks. It was about time it was gone and not to be cliche here but all the DS dependent players are like that Avengers meme, "if you're nothing without DS, then you shouldn't have DS."
Idk blame all the toxic players who abused it instead of the devs. Maybe they'll think twice about abusing perks but I doubt it strongly. Anyways, blame them and not the devs.

I once got camped to death because a Jane decided to head on the killer as I was running from basement after being unhooked. He blamed me for her head oning him and claimed we were a SWF toxic bully team. I had no idea she was even in the locker. The best part of it is that the same guy (who is on ps4 the same as me) will always face camp me to death if he sees me in his match or sabo me if I'm survivor. It's adorable
I'm on PS4 too and I've yet to run into the same people on either side of killer or survivor?? God you have some luck I do not want passed on lol

I never ask killers why they do what they do when I'm playing survivor. Honestly, I couldn't care less. Don't like that I played Kate or Elodie? Don't care. I finished a gen you were just at so I'm "gen rushing"? Again, don't care. Just like when I'm playing killer, I could care less they wanna body block the hook, you're just helping me win. I tend to keep my objectives in order -- this is about my fun, not yours. Yes, sometimes it can seriously annoy me but it's like a few minutes of annoyance then onto the next game. That's just how it is, yo.

Because I was playing as a Claudette.
To be perfectly honest, I don't like Claudette's either. As a killer main, just about every one of them have been toxic to hell and just obnoxious to no end so I eternally roll my eyes when I see one in my lobby because I know who I'm gonna have a hard time finding + who is gonna slip under my radar and do those gens I just kicked and possibly be the most toxic one (again if there's a Nea also present in the lobby, at that point it's the eeny meenie miney mo game with which is gonna be toxic or heck even both are sometimes). However, it is no excuse to tunnel or face camp someone just because they chose that particular character, the killer, doesn't like. Even if I have a distaste for Claudette's (Nea's come in very, very close second with Feng and Steve's falling behind. Sometimes David), I always try to be fair and give the benefit of the doubt because I know not every Claudette is setting out to be toxic wasteland so until I see toxic behavior from a Claudette, I'm giving them a fair shot like everyone else. This was very unfair to you as a player and I'm sorry you got tunneled just for Claudette.

This has been happening to me too. Console player here. Was in a match with Trickster and was trying to pallet stun him to use one of Lee's perks for the boost but instead I just got downed. :(

Not as much of an issue as DS is (or was, after the new patch will arrive). I don't run it but even I know it can be a solid perk if used correctly - using it if you need a few extra seconds to reach the pallet, window, etc but most people use it so recklessly it's hilarious. I'm a killer main and I see it happening all the time, people using DH to gain distance in the open when I just catch you literally five seconds later so they pretty much wasted it. You can usually tell someone might have DH when they keep looking back as if they're waiting for you to swing so they can dash forward. I'd advise looking into 360'ing the killer instead then dead hard to a pallet, window, whatever. It's fine the way it is. Can be kinda annoying when you miss a swing because of DH but I'd take that over DS.

Yes, because that's all everyone would need if Freddy got this buff. You know what'd be even better? Once every toxic Freddy main discovered this newfound gem adding the perks NOED, Remember Me and Blood Warden to his teleportation of exit gates.
Yeah, I'm gonna go with no. Hell no.

There is a counter. You ready?
Step one: engage in chase with said survivor (for best results, make sure they're already injured).
Step two: see them go in locker.
Step three: bait that bs out by faking taking the head on bait then stand a few inches away from said locker with said injured survivor.
Step four: slash them when they pop out like a fool and land on the ground.
Step five (optional): bask in faking taking their bait so they'd take your bait.

The twins aka Kick the beh beh!
Nah for real, I'm in the rare minority where I love the twins, love playing them (utilizing them as a team is exactly what you want to do with them) and Victor is easily the star of that show. I cackle a bit landing a surprise pouce on a group of 3 survivors on one gen and the gen explodes because the other two noticed there's a baby on their teammates head so Charlotte must be around. I do think, at least, Charlotte could use a buff. Don't ask me what kind of buff but a buff to make her stronger. She is easily the more meh out of the two. I agree if they had some tweaks, they'd be better killers but I've adapted well to their play style and on good games easily get 3-4k (and no, I do not need to camp to do it; I do however find they're master sluggers).
Going against them however can be a mix bag of nuts. I've came across a few twins players who never used Victor so it was meh, boring to go against but when they're using Victor (again, I highly recommend you do) and juggling them unpredictably? Kick the beh beh!! Lol I ran this one Victor around for a solid 10 minutes in a single jungle gym. I like going against them when they create chaos and make it a challenging environment but that's rare and in between.
