I'll just copy + paste what I commented in another thread:
Personally, I don't care who the new killer is (although I hope it isn't Springtrap; we do not need that community meshing with this one is all I'm saying) but we can't count Springtrap out just yet. There was a letter E and people said the letter H is in the photo of Dead Dawg Saloon. No, these letters don't spell Springtrap but it can be the start of Springtrap's reveal phrase or what he's known for. The phrases, "I'm still here" or "My name is Springtrap" and his reveal was very similar to how dbd is doing their reveal when Scott made the Springtrap drop. Ace being trapped in a carnival is very a Springtrap aesthetic as he's just a murderous man trapped in an animatronic suit + Fnaf is supposed to be an attraction to children. So Springtrap isn't down for the count yet.
Then there is the obvious Hellraiser. I don't see many other clues pointing to him other than a nail and these letters. Doesn't mean it's not him, just little evidence. However, the Japan count of letters (English is 7 letters, Japan is 5) makes it a good contender.
I've also heard of the patch notes mentioning an an S then an egg emoji then A. Sega which has a hand in Alien Isolation. So... Alien maybe a possibility? I'd also like to mention the egg emoji and the letters. If it IS Fnaf, the egg emoji could be a reference to Chica. Chica is one of the animatronics which is a chicken, her name is also spelled with 5 letters. Now the letters I do not know but I can at least connect the egg emoji to two franchises. Maybe spelling out Five Nights At Freddy's. As far as I know, Hellraiser doesn't have two S's if the letters from the patch notes are connected to these letters we're getting daily.
Also, why would BHVR just give away the full name of a killer before the ptb? I don't think they would. I think these letters might be spelling out a phrase or the franchise name (if it isn't short that is) similar to how they thought they were being clever adding the sandwich reference in the photo of Auto Haven when Chapter 20 was being speculated. The sandwich thing just confirmed to anyone involved with RE that it was in fact RE and Jill was most likely gonna be the new survivor (including me but I also knew Leon 100% was gonna be a survivor. He's Capcom's golden boy so of course they would) which is why I think, to my dismay, it is Springtrap.
If it's Hellraiser though, that'll be cool. All I want BHVR is a killer that doesn't crash my goddamn games.

I actually feel kinda bad when I stomp a killer. So no. What I find fun is throughout the whole match; if it was a tight match, both sides pressuring the other even if I lose, those games that are always tight are the best.

Some of the new ones just look horrible, I'll never forgive what they did to Feng and Ace
Fair enough. I haven't played Kate a little after the rework went live. I tried to give it a shot but nah, not my Kate. So I feel that.
-
No? Why would they revert their updated character models to the outdated ones? This is most likely the final product whether we like it or not. So I suppose this is the end of your dbd career.
-
Pre model update, it was Kate. 100%.
Post model update, I don't really have a main or favorite but I play the most of: Meg, Quentin, Feng, Jill / Claire, Tapp, Elodie, Nea sometimes I play Cheryl.

It's a terrible map for killers for sure however... I am a crazy ######### and sent myself to RPD with Hag and did the dirtiest Hag build imaginable on it. I'll just say have fun trying to find your pals being blind as bats. I lost my devour ... But got massive value out of third Seal while it was up and then Knockout. I ######### them up five ways to Sunday ngl. They got clapped.
Also sent myself to RPD with wall hacks piggy. As well as Haddonfield.
Basically, I'll only accept that map as killer when I have a fun build I wanna do. Basically if I'm relaxed as killer, I can play on it.

When I started playing as Freddy, I definitely understood that I was gonna be playing as a toned down version rather than someone who has the ability to instantly kill whoever falls asleep. The only reason film Freddy DOESNT is because he likes to have fun. You really have to lower your expectations of a character's powers and realize that for a videogame to work, they HAVE to change things to make it fit. Doesnt mean we cant still have fun.
I WASNT expecting to be able to do THIS in DBD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gdzR73BMYI
Although plenty of survivors will claim that Freddy kills them without ever touching them all the time, lol
That clip... I am dead lmfao survivors really would call Freddy OP and demand nerfs if they got ping ponged like Jason did.
-
To be honest, I do hope it isn't Springtrap. The games itself are fine, I played them years ago (my younger sister was a much bigger fan, I was just a casual player) but that fandom is really one that does not need to cross over to this community.

A thing that you can do as a Spirit is to semi look at the ground, you can still see the survivors but they can't blind you and no blinding sound plays. They will try to blind you, see that you can't be blinded/the sound doesn't play and vault into you.
This is interesting information I will definitely use this next time I play Spirit. Thank you ~

I can agree. Green is where it's at
I agree as both killer and survivor. Green is the funnest color rank. Purple and Red is just 😒
-
I didn't know that. However, I did know you can also use a flashlight to test if she's phasing or not. If there's no sound of blinding, she's phasing. I didn't include not reacting to it because Lightborn exists. Even with Lightborn, the sound of blinding is still there just no actual blind. A phasing Spirit however, you won't hear that sound.
Cool info regardless though.
-
All Kill. The only good thing to come out of it was Yun Jin & her blue dress. Idk why the devs insist on giving her atrocious cosmetics after her release.
Trickster is just meh. He's more of a nuisance now since his slight changes. I just don't like playing against him, I'm bored every time.
-
Play how you want, people gonna be salty regardless. For once I opened my PlayStation dms and I got some real salt for when my 3 gen plan got smooshed too. I had downed a Nea and hooked her, everyone was injured. Kate tripped my trap and she went down feet away from hooked Nea. Injured Jake goes for the save before I even could pick Kate up! I saw an opportunity. I had 1 gen left and.. yeah. Finally got those 3 down and that left one more. WELL, we played a game of ring around the tractor because I had nothing better to do and I had all the time in the world, after all, it was just me & her after all. Anyway, she picks up Nea while I'm still hot on her tail, Nea goes back down and the last survivor trips a trap and goes down shortly after. Then two out of the four dc'd. Part of the salt I got was from slugging. I was being "toxic" and I shouldn't even play the game. You were all practically right there! What was I supposed to do? Leave you be to heal up and do the final gen in peace? Face a corner while you do so? The other part of the salt was using Knockout for some reason?? If I really wanted to do you survivors dirty, I'd slap on Third Seal as well and guard that totem with my life but I wasn't running anything too nutty. Just m&m + knockout + stbfl + corrupt so?? Why so salty about Knockout I don't understand it lmao
If I was the same killer I was when I first started out... The game would've ended with barely any hooks and teabags at the exit gates. It is "gg ez" when they win but when they lose? "go ######### trash killer, learn to actually play the game."
Point being: there is gonna be salt no matter what. Play how you want / see fit and just try to enjoy the killer / yourself.

I have never got power struggle to work.
I've gotten the struggle bar to 25% and never seen the option to throw down a pallet. What am I doing wrong.
Also, do you throw the pallet down like you would normally throw pallets down, with the spacebar or do you use the "action" key?
Are you wiggling when the killer picks you up or carrying you? I've only used it briefly in the past but I think I remember you don't wiggle. And yes, the button for power struggle should be the same as your pallet throwing button so space since you're on PC.
-
My build is usually: Kindred (I play solo queue mostly), Balanced, a totem perk (small game, Detective's or Counterforce) I usually also run BT but that's meta so in it's place I guess Windows of Opportunity or a fun perk like the pebble.
-
Just last night, I came across a hacking Trickster. I knew something was immediately off as soon as I loaded into the game because his terror radius sounded map wide or as if he spawned literally right next to me. Then Jake went down almost immediately. Hooked then Steve moments later. I seen him fly across the map, hopping if you will. He was throwing hatchets; the most common hacker. Long story short, he let me escape, respecting the 4% but the exit to the game was behind the exit gate, it was weird. I didn't want to dc because I've heard of hackers being able to put a matchmaking ban on your account to basically never play again. It was so weird man. I recorded it from my PS4 to show my friends but I honestly doubt reporting is going to do much good so I didn't do it.

Not a fan of Candyman honestly. Watched the movies as a kid, found them okay, rewatched them as an adult and didn't like them. I just don't like the movies.
Now when it comes to dbd, I don't care as long as the killer is viable and I can actually play against him without major lag spikes. This is my biggest complaint with Nemesis is that when I play against him, I know I'm already dead. The "console fix" didn't fix the major lag spike for me when he uses his tentacle to attack so I always get it and can never dodge it because it still freezes for that second.
As long as the Nemesis issue isn't present, I don't care if the killer is Candyman as long as he's viable and smooth.
-
I mean... Yeah. When I first played this game, I latched onto Kate as my main survivor. I found her super neat and the songbird look really fit her. But now? She looks less songbird and more.. idek what kind of bird. I was very disappointed with her rework, it's not my Kate. It just doesn't feel the same. At all. I've played her a bit to see if I could get used to it but no such luck. I also agree her cosmetics are very hit or miss. I don't know what it is but lately all her cosmetic releases have been very meh or just mega misses. I don't like the Greek one at all. I agree when someone said she looks like a housewife of New Jersey. Or Palm Beach. Not my taste.
I'm shallow, if a survivor isn't visually appealing to me or if I'm not interested in their licensed lore I'm not interested. The remodels changed a lot in terms of my survivor choices when it went live.
With that said, these days I mostly play / main Claire, Elodie (but only the reindeer onesie Elodie), Nancy, Meg and Quentin. Sometimes Cheryl. I used to main Kate but for now I've retired her which sucks because I spent a ton of money on her. I also used to play Dweet but since his remodel, his hair really just says no for me lol idk he looks weird. Luckily I only bought one cosmetic for him so no real loss comes out of that.
I'm absolutely in love with Quentin and Meg's reworks though. Meg just looks so much smoother and Q's glow up? *Chefs kiss* and yes, I did play Quentin a bit before the rework but admittedly not a lot. Now? Def my fave male survivor beside Tapp & Chris. Thank God he got the glow up because it hurt me how goblinish he looked compared to his on screen counterpart. You know the survivor is a true golum when even the actor was displeased with his looks but rest assured Mr. Gallner, a golum he is no longer.
I got off topic but tldr; yes I've changed mains and I've retired Kate because I do not like her rework. ✌️ #NotMyKate.

If I manage to complete the objective of gens and then die, it's a win as long as my teammates escape.
If a teammate is hooked at EGC, I usually sacrifice my life for theirs; that's a win.
As killer, a 3k is a win. 2k is a neither win or lose. 4k is just golden. But yeah all I need is a 3k to feel I won the game. I don't care to slug for the 4k, they get hatch, good on them.

Can’t remember the last time I had fun as killer. I find swf more fun since we can bully the killer and gang up on him to the point of facecamping which is easily counter by hook bombing.
Even against a face camping Bubba? /o\

If it is a two story place (like The Game, Midwich, RPD, etc), the hatch will always spawn on the first/bottom floor (basically always downstairs, never upstairs). That removes a lot of the area to search for if you are nearing the end game.
This isn't true about RPD, in fact, I've seen it spawn on the third floor at the library! RPD is truly a map where it's game on to find the hatch because it can literally spawn anywhere on that map. :/

I've been dc'ing like a maniac but it isn't like what you'd think. I've discovered quite recently, my internet is not working right. The connection is coming in and out. It's very unstable. I've elected to slim back on my play time until I can buy a new router soon but before I realized it was my internet, I'm sure it looked like rage quit to a lot of people! Coincidentally the damn thing would cut off after being downed and picked up by the killer. Or just randomly as it looks like I'm staring into the abyss. So that's why I've cut back so I'm not screwing over my team. When it works fine, I'll play and if it dips after like 2-4 hours then I'll stop because it'll probably continue being unstable until I fix the issue. I'm happy the DC penalty is off right now for this reason. I wish they'd upgrade their DC system to tell the difference between a purposeful DC or a DC due to loss of connection (like if you're playing during a storm and the power blows which sucks a lot) in which it wouldn't count as a ban but I digress.
On the other... I'm not. So I'm kind of sounding hypocritical but yes and no I'm happy it's off. Yes because it's saving my butt from bans until I can get a fix and no because teammates... Rage... Quitting. Played a match earlier against a Hag and immediately two Dc'd and one just stood in the middle of the cornfield entirely as he gave up and let her kill him. I on the other hand opted for points so I treated like any other match. Of course I died but oh well. That's how the cookie was crumbling.
It's amazing to me when people willingly DC at 3 gens when the team had perfect opportunity and position to win but because they got downed and one couldn't flashlight save, they dc'd.
-
"Pitch a tent and camp", "Next time bring marshmallows if you're gonna set up camp". Lol Survivor mains crack me up. I play both sides so I'd like to think I don't have much bias but I do have a theory of why they cry camping during EGC with the killer camping his potential only kill(s)... they feel like they've already won by the time they pop the last gen. Survivors feel they've now earned the right to escape after the last generator has popped. In my opinion... You don't earn the right to escape until after you cross the finish line. You don't get the racing trophy just for your car being the closest to the line right before you cross it. You get that victory banner after you escape not as soon as the gen pops, it's still an ongoing game. A killer can easily turn a bad 1-2 hook game into a 2-4k easily with endgame perks and plans probably already thought of before even entering that match. It isn't over until you officially cross the finish line and they don't seem to get that.
It's simple entitlement. Arrogance.
-
Solo queue... Is a mixed bag of nuts. Sometimes I get good teams and others I get like one of my last solo queue teammates. Ran miss Hagatha for 2 gens (would've probably been more but I only went down because she didn't fall for the second window fake) which was great but then I seen them all do something you should never do against a Hag: hook bomb. Literally lining up for the save, stumbling on top of each other, rushing the save without forethought of if she has trapped my hook (and she did) or the area for that matter. Finally got out of that pickle but then one of the fools managed to get themselves caught at basement. Miss Hagatha snowballed off these monkey brains and wound up getting a 3k all in the basement because they kept rushing saves injured, stock piling onto the other. Literally barely got altruism points, these guys were so greedy for them all. Why, I don't know, none of them was running WGLF. These were all purple ranks...
Then other times I get teams like earlier. I was playing the fun locker build Claire (Q+Q + Head On + Deception + Iron Will) and the killer was Pyramid Head. Everyone was a rockstar, knew when to save and when to work on gens, looped Pyramid Head well enough and away from gens actively being worked on. Basically the most efficient team I've had in a while.
That's literally the only two modes solo queue has for me. There is no in between. Occasionally mode one has sandbagging and farming which either I do not Vibe with. I live for mode two where everyone is a rockstar and I can say it was truly a great game even if we lost.
-
To be fair, those teammates might've not even known where to find them to begin with. Twice in a row one day I got the RPD and both times I died on first hook because no one came for me, I don't think they could find me? I don't know but to add onto the bulging size of the map, I'm pretty sure it makes Knockout that much stronger. At least it did a number when I used the perk on Hag in RPD. It just makes me wonder how much of it was the perk or the fact the map is a maze to most people.
-
Oh, same. In solo queue, I need to have my own back as I can't trust my teammates for absolutely anything unless shown otherwise so I was using Self Care + Bite the Bullet (btb) on my Laurie, it was against a Spirit and luckily for me, she didn't have Nurse's Calling but I healed literally with her walking right past me. No Iron Will, just Self Care and Bite the Bullet. Saved my butt as the last gen popped. Made it out but if I didn't have btb, I wouldn't have made it.
Another case, I was playing Nancy and I had btb on, healed behind a bush with Freddy searching the area in front of me as he just saw me there a second ago (a true Houdini move), I finished the heal off and he was none the wiser. It's a good perk, I recommend it a lot.
-
If I haven't found a player all game who has been hiding and not taking their took on the hook... They're not leaving the trial alive if I can help it.
One match that comes to the top of my head regarding this is coincidentally, an Elodie was hiding from me all game while I killed her teammates one by one. Eventually it became a 2v1. It came down to Kate and Elodie. I was in chase with Kate longer than I should've but took it on because there's only two left and I don't quite care if I get the 4k I consider a 3k a win for me but I digress. Anyway, so eventually I lose Kate and to my surprise Elodie finishes the last gen. I finally find her trying to hide to do the gate and get out. I chase her, I down her, I hook her and I gladly let Kate escape. This Elodie I swear was hiding the entire game and anytime I caught an unhooker, if wasn't her and the time previously (before it became a 2v1) when I had hooked Kate, her unhooker was nowhere to be seen (hm...) So I had no choice but to go for the Kate again. As killer, hunting for the hiding survivor all game is a luxury you can't afford but it sure is annoying when you want that BBQ stack or you just know from the survivor standpoint they should be taking aggro.
I don't know how many survivors need to hear this or implant this into their brains but for the love of god if you haven't been in chase or the only one not hooked yet while your teammates are on death hook... TAKE. THE. HEAT. I have no respect for the survivors who hide all game and let their teammates take each hooking and try to weasel their way to the exit gates or hatch. Do more for your team.
As a survivor this is why I'm always tempted to lobby dodge when I see a Claudette in there. They just hide all game and wait for the team to die to get hatch while they live in lockers. Only came across a single handful of Claudette's who weren't the "doing gens, you?" Stereotypes.
Again, do more for your team. Take the aggro, you'll be alright, getting hooked is not the end of the world.
-
I mean, you can crouch walk in the beginning or to avoid confrontation with her but Hag doesn't just place her traps down and call it a day, she can (and will) chase you in the direction of her traps, you can't crouch walk over them then and that's where she becomes dangerous. Where most people fail is panicking after setting off a trap. Say like you placed a trap in front of a dropped pallet and you're hot on their tail, as soon as they trip the trap, most immediately vault right back over it despite knowing you've been right behind them in chase but that also becomes a sort of lose lose issue for the survivor because a) Hag can get you panicking vaulting so she doesn't need to teleport or b) teleport if you do decide to keep going and hope you're not in lunge range. A good Hag always has a back up plan / traps if the survivor gets away in that scenario.
A good Hag is scary and I can respect a good Hag. I'd rather go against her than Trapper honestly.
Do I think she needs a nerf? Not really. Except like it's been widely suggested to have her traps not be in front of hooks or dissipate in a square radius of hooks. Other than that, she's in a good spot I think.

Third Seal-Undying for the extra salt
Add Knockout to Third Seal + Undying + MYC and oof what a salt mine.
-
You're not the only one. I haven't been taking many chances when it comes to blood warden if I even suspect they probably have it (dead giveaway are the killers that open a door manually before hooking the downed survivor but the smarter killers are usually more meticulous).
I've also seen a rise in noed users lately creating very unfortunate situations (i.e, the killer is camping so you're having to look for noed and none of the team has found it so the decision has to be made if the team will risk a one shot for a rescue or leave them behind.)
Honestly I don't really have any issues with either of these perks. The outcomes can be very unfortunate and unlucky but those perks are endgame perks for the killer for a reason.
-
That perfectly sums up the way I've felt about Nemesis since his release. I knew beforehand he couldn't be that wild as he is in his core material, I knew we'd probably wind up getting something to do with his tentacle but the final product is so beautifully... Meh. That is the best way to explain it. Beautifully meh. I think maybe they would've been better off with a killer that could fit more into dbd with their base material such as Jack Baker or William Birkin. I was kinda disappointed with him honestly. I mean, he's cool but he's not as terrifying as he is in RE3 original or remake.
Nemesis is just like ... Okay have you seen Toy Story when Buzz watches his own advertisement on TV realizing he's just a toy after genuinely believing he was real? It's sorta like that. He's just like a plastic toy in dbd compared to his source origin.
Plus it's just so weird watching a teammate get face camped by him when in RE, he'd just squash your head rather than stare at you on a hook.
But I still like him though. I like his music and chase music but he's not my favorite killer and it's so sad to me.
-
I can agree slightly with the gen rushing but tunneling. Tunneling isn't...- Ok.
Tunneling is most definitely a real thing. I haven't been tunneled in a couple weeks and it's a rarity when it does happen (how many of you have ever been hard tunneled by a Spirit? Not a fun time) but I'll give you an example of hard tunneling.
The killer was Pyramid Head, I was playing with my friend and the first time I got caught out, I'll admit, it was my own clownery because I face planted right into the man as he turned a corner. He was in a chase, dropped it and chased me. I got hooked and immediately after I got unhooked, he *deliberately* searched for me (even going so far as ignoring survivors on a gen) and when he found me, I got hooked again. Got unhooked and he was right back on me. I managed to stay alive long enough for the randos and my friend to do all the gens and get out. My friend tried to take hits, tried to make him take chase with him instead, the randos tried to take hits and have the chase on them. Didn't matter, he just wanted me. He ended up with a 1k because he decided to tunnel me all game. I didn't even get to do a gen, didn't get to achieve any altruism points, didn't get to cleanse any bones, nada.
Tunneling isn't real... Sure Jan.

I don’t have any good build ideas, but off the top of my head there are a couple of perks you could pair it with:
Rookie Spirit and Better Together - see a regressing gen, jump on it and draw other survivors to it. Good for end game or 3 gen busting.
Rookie Spirit and Repressed Alliance - if the killer has Ruin/Pop you can protect a regressing gen that has a lot of progress.
Sounds like two good combos for Rookie Spirit! I might definitely use the first option in the future (Rookie Spirit + Better Together).
Question though: if the gen has Ruin and you block it with Repressed Alliance... Does it still regress regardless? I've never used Repressed against Ruin because I've always thought it'd be moot since Ruin regress when not actively worked on. 🤔
-
Wraith's, Nurse's, Oni's and Pyramid Heads.
-
Insidious basement Bubba's: time to replace Iron Grasp since buffed territorial imperative will do most of the work for me. ~
In all seriousness tho, Bubba's, the most malevolent kind, would latch onto this in a heartbeat.
-
Nurse. I absolutely cannot play her and I've tried. Dedicated a whole week plus and new account to learn starting at rank 20 and all I got for my efforts was frustration with blinks to teabags from baby survivors (Yes even baby survivors teabag lolol) with no progress made in my journey to learn her.
Huge props to Nurse mains, I got mad respect for y'all.

The same build I run on everyone. Barbecue, Ruin, NOED, and filler perk. I just bought Undying from the Shrine, so I don't have it on anyone's bloodweb. I like Surveillance to help me figure out which gen they are on when I am not in chase.
The amount of times I've kicked a gen after lightly inspecting the area and Surveillance goes off that it's being worked on immediately after you've barely left the area in which it leads me to heavily investigate the area as it tells me there has to be a survivor hiding nearby and low and behold... A wild Claudette in a locker. Or a Meg. Sometimes Elodie - ironically I don't find Dwight's in lockers that often.
I really do like that perk. I like it a lot. I just think it's neat. :)
-
Corrupt, BBQ, MYC, Often a lot of times the last slot goes to haunted grounds. I especially love to try to defend that totem so survivors think it's important to me - they probably think I have Devour and it's always so satisfying watching one cleanse it while another body blocks. I wind up getting 2 free downs. 😈
If not Haunted then truly anything else I feel like atm. Maybe Pop is usually secondary. I also really like STBFL on her.

I don't care anymore if a TTV is my teammate or killer. If I'm survivor and the TTV is my teammate, I might check out their stream and depending on the vibe, I'll tell them ggs. Same if they're my killer. If I'm being made fun of or they or their chat is being toxic in any way, I just roll my eyes and move onto another match. I typically don't let it get that far though. If I hear positivity as they're talking to chat or just wholesome vibes, it's all good with me.
My life is already stressful and depressing, I don't want to worry or stress over what strangers over the internet are saying about me or how I played especially if I know I did badly. I just don't care or at least I'm trying not to. I'm stuck in this weird personal place of trying to find a way to be content in life for once and that's I guess my first step.
I got hella off topic but if they're wholesome and neat, I do sometimes like to rewatch the vod too. :)

And miss Hagatha. ;) I'm telling you, Rusty Shackles + regular hag on RPD... It's so filthy, disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Borderline unfair. The only reason I'd place her above Trapper for which Killer RPD does for best in terms of their power is because she can teleport to her traps, he can't sadly. But if you know your way decently around the map, I've seen some disgusting Trapper plays.
They're just dirty on that map, I fear for my LIFE when I'm on that map and it's either of them two.

You act like PC players don't do the same? Lol I'll never understand those who criticize console players when *plenty* of PC players do the exact same things.
Like others have stated, turn off cross play. Simple solution.

Well I finally got to play it too... but I legit felt like a dog chasing my own tail in RPD. Literally went in circles, ran into dead ends and irrelevant rooms, I lost 2 gens in the process because I couldn't find my way to the damn things. It's way too big, I agree with others it needs to be broken up in parts.
The only killer so far I've found can ignore most of the map's flaws is Hag. I had my trap placements decently and had no issues really. It's almost every other killer that is gonna have a miserable time on the map.
I love how it stays faithful and true to the series but it's too daunting a size.

I decided to give the event a shot, to see just how bad the lag has gotten (I'm on PS4) and to be honest... It's hardly noticable for me? As survivor though, I haven't played killer to feel the full frustration. Anyway, the only time it has ever terribly lagged for me was when the killer was Nemesis. Then it was teleport city which is making me dread ever coming against him again because I just can't play with the horrible lag he comes with, it's unplayable to go against STILL.
I finally got the RPD map (just once so far tho) and it only had light stutters as soon as you load in but super light - again, barely noticeable. I didn't get to really have the chance to actually play a legit match on it as the killer was farming which was cool, I got to explore a lil bit.
All the killers I've gone up against, only two wanted to farm. The second farming killer and I experienced a massive bug that took away the ability to wiggle out, be pallet saved or flashlight saved. Couldn't even be hooked so the killer DC'D and tbh I would too. There's more killers who don't want to farm than do tbh, they're mostly so sweaty rn to add onto their cake bonuses and BBQ, Survivor Pudding or Bloody party streamers points. It's really just been another average play day in dbd.
The crowns have been appearing in my inventory as I've collected them, I've received both my BP and daily 1k shards.
My only compliant about this event is the lack of cakes to show up in your bloodweb. It's a bit disappointing to get all the anniversary toolboxes and medkits but hardly any cakes.

Not me but I have seen streamers getting it. One got the map twice in a row.

I'm on the orginal Xbox and I haven't crashed or had really any issues aside from some lag. I'm not sure why this is apparently only effecting some people.
How...
Maybe I'm stupid but what do you mean by "original" Xbox...?

I'd say Bubba, Twins, Spirit, Freddy.
Bubba's are notorious for face camping and insidious basement camping and nobody wants to be caught first.

Agree 100%. I play on PS4 and I can't go 10 steps without lagging.😞😞
The game already screwed me as both survivor and killer due to the lag and freezing before this "patch" so the fact it's only gotten worse is just... Lovely. Just lovely. PC players get to enjoy the anniversary event meanwhile consoles are getting so epically screwed out of it... Ugh.

I’ll just login daily collect my shards and play something else. I’m gonna break my controller trying to grind bp and getting a crown that I won’t use ever
This is also my plan. Just login to receive the shards and maybe not touch the actual game until the performance runs... Better. I've already deranked from rank 3 back to rank 8 as I've just been incredibly unlucky in the game and getting hard tunneled / camped or teammates bringing the killer to me with me on death hook and they haven't been hooked; just a bunch of solo queue bs half the time honestly with a mixture of me playing bad + being unlucky to face plant right into the killer. I don't know if my pip system is broken but even if I escape and do bones, unhook, heal, take protection hits, the whole shebang I'm not pipping. The game has no issue DE pipping me though. My point to my gums excessively flapping: I doubt I'd even get to absorb the 500x BP, maybe just 10% so it's really not worth me playing anyways lol.
