Wenn du das Spiel weiter streamst und eine starke, positive Community aufbaust, wird vielleicht jemand aus dem DBD-Team auf dich aufmerksam und kann dich für eines dieser Shirts empfehlen. So bekommt man es nur noch.

Bans are not to be discussed on the forums, this is completely between you and support. So if you'd like to discuss this any further, you'd need to contact them again, as the forum is not the correct place for this.

I'm glad to see people are receiving their items! :D Happy for you all!

From the sounds of it, you did not actively team with the Steve, but as it is not entirely clear what you mean by 'taunt' (whether or not if it was just them running away from him or if they unhooked him for him to be downed again and rehooked until death) there is no exact definitive answer. I generally highly suggest to play the game normally afterwards, but if no one was griefed overall on all sides, then it should be okay.
-
Locking it, as it's been answered already.

The disconnection penalty is kept low in case you have to dc for reasons such as emergencies or game breaking issues, whatsoever. There is no differentiate as to why you disconnect essentially - as things can easily be faked. I understand it is frustrating, especially in such situations, but that's also why it's kept low to allow for wiggle room.
Edit: Please ensure to report them in the game and send additional video evidence to support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011

Ohmygosh really?! Thank you for this information, it makes me hopeful that sometime in the future that it will be possible I was afraid it was forever going to be only between stadia and steam. So I do hope that eventually, they let PlayStation players cross to PC as well thanks for replying. :)
Again, I cannot guarantee anything; this is also from their FAQ on https://account.bhvr.com/

I would love to play this game on PC, but I would have to start over and that's just a big no for me, but at the same time if I do play this game for a long time more I do not want to be using an old console that's just eventually going to be dropped for support.
I just hope that one day they add cross-progression, I want to try this game out on PC, have the devs stated anything about maybe making cross-progression a thing? :c
Right now cross-progression is only available right now for Stadia and Steam... Other platforms aside from Switch (no ETA, but it is going to happen in the future) are still up in the air, I'm afraid that's all the information I have.

If you want to request a refund for DLC you have bought, you need to do this on your respective platform, as it depends on the platform you have purchased the DLC from.
If you have bought Deathslinger with shards or auric cells, we do not offer refunds of any sort for in-game purchases.
-
I just want to quickly drop in to clarify that it never has been claimed as exclusive when it first released. From time to time we might make something available to our partners, and these will often become available to all of the community. This can happen to other content that might seen/considered as 'exclusive' (such as the rift cosmetics that may or may not appear in the shop at a later date).
It is okay to also feel this way and the feedback is valuable nonetheless.
-
How does Susie see with the mask on? We will never know probably! Or they just sniff out survivors? But probably vision granted by the entity or a sense of where survivors are.
From cosplaying both Trapper and Huntress, I can tell you it was not too great to walk around with the limited vision, so I'm amazed at them - and very glad that it is not the way we see in the game.
-
Yes, it should be like that if you get a cosmetic through the rift for a character you don't own or buy it in the store, you own the skin. Once you get the character, the skins will be unlocked. I don't own Clown and I just tested it in the PTB by purchasing him with shards and I had the outfits from the rift for him unlocked.
-
I quite like these! The Nea one made me laugh a bit... Ah yes, Nea. The Deathslinger to survivor comments are my favorites though.
-
If you see the same killer always being AFK when you face against them, please report them, as this can become against the rules if it's done repeatedly. It is okay to go afk once or twice when emergencies happen, but if someone is afk each time they load into a game, they are refusing to play the game and ruining it for the others.

In diesem Fall Steam.

An in-game report is mandatory at all times though, without one, there is not much that can be done.
No offense, but a single layer (report) against cheaters is not enough for protection these days. After what i have seen recently, this might be getting out of hand. Even tho we might not run into an obvious hacker all the time like i did, how am i suposed to tell if someone runs ESP/Wallhack or he is just simply good in finding people?
If at any point you believe you encountered someone who might be using those kind of 3rd party programs, I recommend reporting them alongside with a support ticket that includes evidence. The team can the look at it and evaluate the case based on evidence provided and other factors.
-
There is no exact response time I can give you, but they will respond to you as soon as possible - please note to avoid sending multiple tickets, as it will bump you back at the end of the queue!
-
People that cheat and/or hack in the game do get banned, however, if you do encounter them in the game, the usual method is to record it so you can send the additional video evidence to support in a ticket with all the other information they ask to be provided. An in-game report is mandatory at all times though, without one, there is not much that can be done.
You also need to keep in mind that many people play the game and thus report people too, so there are many reports daily the team handling those goes through.
-
Sbmm does not affect if people break the rules or not, it's uses are different than that.
Please report hte players you assume are cheating or breaking other game rules and send any additional video evidence you got to support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011

For Survivor the big one I wanted to try was a build centered around being as difficult as possible to put on a hook when the killer is carrying me.
This one I have a build for. Tenacity, Flip Flop, Boil Over and Unbreakable. Boil Over can be swapped with Power Struggle. It can be a life saver or make you feel like it never works and only works when you don't have it equipped.
I also suggest a build like this that I enjoy to use: Slippery Meat, Up The Ante, Iron Will + 4th perk of choice, but I like using Quick & Quiet / Kindred.
For Huntress, I might sometimes use: Unnerving Presence, Huntress Lullaby, Overcharge and Overwhelming Presence... I do like Lullaby.
But my most guaranteed perk I run is Bloodhound. Otherwise, I can think of an all-kill build: Devour Hope, Rancor, Haunted Grounds, Dying Light / NOED / Make Your Choice + mori if rancor isn't used.

How serious of a transgression is to hold the game hostage?
Are people only banned if they do it many, many times? Or doing it just a couple of times can get them a short ban?
I'm asking this because, even though you don't see this very often, a single time may make you waste a lot of time in a single match. I'm talking specifically about survivors who, at some point in a match when they're at disavantage, decide to just hide around the map, not doing any objective, but stay moving so they don't atract any crows, and making so the killer can't have any gameplay but also can't leave the match unless he disconnects. Recently I had a match as Trickster on Mother's Dwelling where two survivors decided to do this after the other two got killed. I spent a LONG time searching for them in the biggest map in the game as a 110% killer, until one of them finally gave up and vault-spammed to call my atention. I then hooked him and found the other via BBQ & Chilli.
The thing is, is not the first time I see this and I doubt it will be the last. Whenever it happens, I report the survivors involved. My question is: does reporting make any difference?
It is a temporary ban under the rules, essentially, if someone breaks the temp bans, they get a temp ban if reported. It is important that you report them in the game and best would be to record it, so you can send it to support afterwards.
Holding the game hostage is definitely not allowed, as it is intentionally ruining the game for other people. In your case, if you prove that they were not doing anything and only hiding, they were intentionally holding the game hostage to extend it unnecessarily as much as possible.

The strength of the survivors depends on their cooperation with teammates. Good cooperation will completely restrain all killers (except nurses).
Someone once suggested that you are not there for all the methods and materials that can improve the game environment.
Someone once suggested that as long as a small step, add some small icons next to the survivor's avatar, increase the amount of information in the single-player game, and shorten the gap with voice communication. You are not there.
Someone suggested not to change the weak killer anymore, you are not there.
Someone sorted out the way to add new players, and put together the reasons why players don't like this game, you are not there.
But once someone agrees to weaken the killer, you are here.
All the killers, in the face of an increasingly weak environment, facing the increasingly powerful environment of the survivors, they work hard to hone their skills
When survivors start to learn to use Pallets and windows, they will become stronger instead of weakening the killer
To play as a killer, you need to formulate countermeasures, you need to be familiar with the map, and you need to understand the skills and trends of the survivors.
Why does the survivor do not need to make the same effort, but indifferently weaken the killer.
I play the killer and the survivor at the same time, so much training, I have seen a lot of situations, I know why there are camping and tunneling, and I know why the survivors don't want to interact with the killer.
We collected opinions from various environments and found a very simple solution.
So many people give feedback, but we only see you when the player agrees to weaken the killer.
I want to clarify that I am not a developer - I am a Coordinator, which gives me the opportunity to forward the communities feedback - feedback from all sides and all kind of variety of feedback. However though, while I can do that, I'm still not a dev that works on the game balancing, please keep this in mind.
However, I do still would like to ask everyone again to remain respectful and on-topic.

I would like to remind everyone that people are entitled to their own opinion, if you don't want to partake in the discussion they have created, please move onto another thread, there is no need to attack and belittle them for it. Opinions can differ, it happens.
Please avoid any all off-topic comments and stay on topic of this thread in a civil and respectful manner.

You need to report people in the game and then send additional evidence to support, you can do that here https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000942011. Reporting them in any shape or form is necessary though, just like it is in general in most areas.

Hacking is probably fine in this game. The amount of thing you need to do to report them is absurd so i feel like the vame really dont want people to report them. Its not like the report are doing something either one hacker was streaming for 7 or 8h on twich and the best thing you can do is repirt them on twich so they cant stream anymore so their system is kind of a joke
Please know that reports done by users are handled by actual people - there are many reports daily, so something might not be done in an instant, especially when it comes to validating the accuracy of the report and if it couldn't have been something game related.
Reports are certainly taken serious and being looked into.

We can, however, it can also always be good to make a own thread for this, so people can add on it and discuss it !

they could at least make it if all 4 survivors are slugged the bleed out timer speed is doubled because 4 minuets of not playing the game is almost as long as a dc punishment
I'd suggest making a new thread in feedback & suggestions to make this a suggestion to be seen!
-
I think it really depends on the playstyle someone has, as The Third Seal would be now something I might consider running with the change, where as before I might have not turned to it, as I do play around with special attacks a lot. I mean, I'm one of the few who does enjoy Bloodhound, but that's my short attention span speaking.
Those changes are meant to give people more options if they'd like to try out perks, but the previous versions have stopped them from doing so. It does depend on someone's preferred playstyle and how secure they feel about their skill, too.

would you say trapper and spirit are getting full add on passes?
From the developers update it specifies for Trapper and Spirit some add-ons.
@Lliart said:

I understand this, as it was said above in the initial post. What I'm asking is that now that many of the add-ons have been looked over briefly, are the ones that aren't being changed at least being looked at or considered for changes? Is it at least visible that many of the current add-ons for killers are a tad underused and is there a possibility of them being changed? In summation...
Is there a chance?
Unfortunately, that's something I cannot confirm in any way; right now, some killers are getting some of their add-ons adjusted based on the reasons mentioned above, which is different from the usual way. This allows for multiple add-ons on multiple killers to be adjusted than just one killer, as it is an incredible amount of work which can take a long while.
-
It is a pass on some of the underpowered, overpowered or unused add-ons for a lot of killers, a full add-on pass is not happening right now. Whether or not they will happen in the future, I cannot answer for certain, but right now it's only for specific add-ons and not all, as it'd be squeezing years worth of add-on passes in one update otherwise.
-
While slugging is essentially nto enjoyed by majority of players, even in scenarios like that, it is not bannable and reportable, as the game will end in a guaranteed timer.
-
In his first phase he does not have a heartbeat, red stain and is immune to aura reading perks as he has the Undetectable status. He needs to stalk survivors to level up his tiers of Evil Within, as he starts in tier I. In Evil Within II he gains a heartbeat, bigger lunge and is not immune to aura reading perks anymore, but he's also faster compared to tier I.
In tier I his lunge is also shorter, however, there are also add-ons that change his playstyles in which he can remain in Evil Within for all the game, but is able to use his stalk ability to see survivors within 32 meters. It's called 'Scratched Mirror.'
