And yet when we criticism they product we have the same response close the post or sent it in adyss. But tell me why they should not respect the customers they only reason they work right now is because of they customers. When you show them no respect or you don't care about ther feedback why they should stay ?
You may create a nice game but if you don't respect you customers they will leave and that's the this Devs need the customers not the other way.
Hey! Just to clarify a few things: You are free to feel frustrated and criticize the devs, but we cannot allow insults towards anyone, including the devs. This has been a forum rule since day 1.
If you want your feedback to be heard, it's for the best if it's constructive and respectful - whenever we made these comments, it's usually after we had to clean the thread from insults towards users and/or devs or when a thread got heavily derailed, a fight broke out, etc. I've already made a sweep through the thread at that time. We, the communiyt team, always forward feedback from the community, even the "negative" feedback, as long as it's respectful.
Here is a point of view of the same scenario, but different ways: We can't forward feedback that's insulting and demeaning towards the developers or any users. That'd make it hard for the feedback to be heard, because why would someone want to read a post full of insults towards them? Then you have the same piece of feedback essentially, but in a constructive way, that's something we'll happy forward. We're also the voice of the community. That's what the community team is here for.
Vents and rants are fine, those are feedback too that need to be respected from us and the team, but the essence of the message here is if it becomes insulting or disrespectful, that's when it becomes problematic. It is very hard to forward feedback that is written in a way that's demeaning. If we didn't allow criticism towards the devs and what they're doing, then many threads would be deleted as of now, which is not the case.
Just please don't attack them or anyone personally for that matter. Same to other users who may have different opinion, don't attack them, be respectful. This helps so much more.

Hello! Please report this here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs And if it happens again, please include tile information. This can be seen by opening the "pause"/settings screen (I don't have a better name for it right now). It's in the bottom right.

Is this going to reset both Freddy and Quentin to Level 1 when its fixed if I start the game?
Sorry, I am afraid I have no answer for you but what I have provided already !

We're aware of this and it's being investigated. We don't have a solution to offer for now.
-
Well, for all bugs, there is this category you can use: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Please search beforehand if the bug you mean specifically has been reported already.
-
Please put any bugs here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs Use the search bar to see if it has been reported before.

It's a visual bug/localization issue. It's gonna be fixed next hotfix.
-
Please remain respectful - it doesn't help anyone if critcism becomes unconstructive. Insulting the team or anyone for that matter never will be okay. We understand your frustration and we appreciate any kind of feedback, you totally are free to feel frustrated and upset, that is your right. When conveying those emotions, remain respectful and constructive. If this continues, the thread might get locked, so please avoid it.

Basically, earned bloodpoints do not equal given bloodpoints. You can only earn 1 million bloodpoints, but if you receive bloodpoints, the number can go over 1 million.
Let's say you have 900k bloodpoints, you receive 300k from a event, so you're at 1.2 million now.
You still can earn 100k bloodpoints from matches, but after that it caps, that'll bump you to 1.3 million and you can't process any furthe than that.

Thank you Gay Myers (Luzi). I assumed that they would post the new stats like they did with the older November 2019 stats. Is there a reason that they simply didn't post the stats? Having to screen cap from the stream seems rather rudimentary.
Sadly, I don't know, but thank you for the feedback.

So for all we know thos stats can be against rank 20 survivors ok ty tho.
Just from experience in red ranks: I highly doubt that all of these are against rank 20 survivors. Those stats are against all people met in red ranks. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/778383647?t=0h48m26s Check for yourself here how it's explained.

How many of thos are against red rank survivors tho ?
I only have the information provided on Stream ^^ Those were the stats shown for red ranks. I don't have any internal information.

This is from the stream:

So they say. Support doesnt really do anything against death threats or threats of harm. I still sometimes see the people who threatened mine and my family's life in queue.
That is not true, threats are taken seriously and being dealt with - if it has been reported in the game, then it'll be dealt with. Again, there are a lot of reports every day, so it might not happen immediately. People are behind dealing with those reports, not machines and DBD has a lot of players that report a lot of things every day.
-
Have they restarted the game and if they're on a different platform, is crossplay enabled or disabled?
-
If they are found to be breaking the rules and you have reported them in the game and depending on the situation sent additional evidence to support, the ACMs will take care of it. Please just keep in mind there are tons of reports daily.

Perfectly understandable, I used to have the same problem.
Pro tip: pour a little olive oil onto the yolk and mix them together. They'll combine into a (pleasant, IMO) paste.
Bonus tip: If you fry up some garlic (or anything else, even just raw spices) in the olive oil and then mix everything with the yolk, it should be even better.
I might give this a try and hopefully not burn the kitchen to the ground.

Alright, I'm too curious not to ask. Why remove the yolk?
I think it's the texture of the yolk once it's hard boiled, how it feels when I eat it. I don't like it, it's crumbly and weird to me. I have no issues with a fried or scrambled egg. Only when it's hard boiled I don't like the yolk.
-
What most likely is happening there are no people in your region currently playing, so it expands the matchmaking to find games in a larger radius the longer it takes to find a match.
-
Hard boiled with the boiled egg yolk removed.
-
If the game was played fairly and the other survivors weren't griefed (sandbagged, blocked, etc.) in any shape or form, then you should be okay. Whatever you do after all are dead with the remaining survivor is up to you as long as it follows the game rules.
-
That can count as holding the game hostage if both of them didn't do anything for the remainder for the game. Please report them in the game and send additional evidence to support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com
-
Please be respectful to each other and some people might have different views and opinions on things. Things can be respectfully discussed.
Also a thing about the previous mori spam: Please remember mori spam used to be much more than just BMing. People would sit there for the full bleed out timer spamming the mori animation over and over again, which the survivor or any other survivor had no chance to counter. There was nothing you could have done for it to stop - this is why it used to be bannable if done over a minute+.
-
Hey, I just deleted a few comments - please do not publicly discuss warns/jails/bans/etc. Please keep it on topic.
-

It can be, yes, if you mean with sandbagging helping the killer get a kill by e.g. stopping survivors several times from vaulting and to grief other survivors - then yes.

Because:
- The level of harassment they would receive is nowhere near justified.
- You can easily fake this by simply switching names and pretending to be someone else.
- They suffer consequences if you simply report them - they get banned and that's the end of it.
For users who are a bit confused why we don't allow any kind of naming and shaming, Orion puts it well together. ^
Otherwise, I'm sorry this happened to you. Like you say yourself, report the offense in the game. This is mandatory. For more information, please read here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
-
In itself, going AFK is not bannable as sometimes IRL emergencies or other things might be happenin. If this is a repeated behavior that has been repeatedly reported over the course of several games, it can become a bannable offense. BUT granted, it needs to be the same person doing it over and over again for it to be repetitive behavior.
If this is the case, then you can report them in the game for not participating in the gameplay, but keep in mind you'll need to be able to provide proof for this. Check here for more information: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
If this is not what you mean and you might mean camping, that's a tactic that's allowed. A player camps a survivor on the hook to ensure their death.

A legitimate question here: Why even announce the disabling of it ahead of time?
MMR data gathering was being done "behind the scenes" well before it was announced as such, so it's not like such a test would be unprecedented. And Bloodlust is a mechanism that, frankly, if it had been removed for a weekend, or even longer -- let's say a week or two -- most, if not all players, wouldn't have even noticed it not being present (I likely wouldn't have). The few who might have -- well, you would have had a couple of forum posts titled "Is Bloodlust bugged?", followed by most people assuming it WAS a bug, like the countless other bugs we run into on a regular basis in the game anyway. People would have continued to play "normally" and you could have had a greater amount of data to look at with no compromising of what was being studied.
Instead, the announcement of the removal has already tainted the results -- you'll see people playing "differently" knowing it's not in play. It may not be a lot of variation, but that variation WILL be present, where it wouldn't have been if this test had been done without announcing it. That variation might be killers dropping chases they wouldn't have before, people playing different killers than they would normally play, some people not playing killer at all, survivors utilizing specific loops more often than they wouldn't have otherwise, survivors burning specific map offerings, etc. -- ALL of those potential actions that could taint the data would have been avoided if this test had been done behind the scenes and not publically, which -- my opinion only, obviously -- means that this is a lost opportunity for data that would have been more accurate than what you'll actually be getting over the weekend.
I'm afraid I have no direct answer to this - they made the decision to share this ahead of time, but this is feedback I'll be noting down definitely.

Okay, with that logic why not test each new perk or mechanic or killer or survivor live, soley and without the encompassing chapter?
Because they belong together in a chapter and it wouldn't make sense testing each perk individually? Chapter are prepared together, like a bundle and the way they work with the game is done in a bundle. There is a difference between testing a mechanic like Bloodlust, that affects every killer and testing a chapter that only really changes anything if the killer or/and perks are being used by people.
-

So, why not wait to implement No bloodlust during a chapter? If it's a cost/benefit analysis issue (Running a server cost versus getting gameplay data analytics) why not hold off or bundle it with chapter 18's test?
Because they only want data when Bloodlust is turned off in the live enviornment. Just for Bloodlust. Only that.

So why have a PTB at all? The new killer and perks are beholden to those same critea. Small fractions of playerbase, matchmaking? and the multiple test items muddy the results as well (if a killer is weak but has strong perks or vice-versa) so how is this different or should they not use a test server ever?
A whole chapter is being tested on the PTB.
Turning off Bloodlust, enabling MMR and Hit validation are complete different things than a chapter being tested to see how the killer and survivor (perks) work.
-
The intention of it being on the live build is to get more data than on the PTB.
- Only a small friction of people play the PTB which would result in a small pool of data being collected.
- Matchmaking has also been disabled on the PTB.
- A PTB is usually done to test multiple things, so this could have potentially caused other things to not be as tested as much.
The data being collected specifically is intended for Bloodlust and that's the main intention - having it on a PTB with other factors would cause that it's not a live enviornment test, which is a important part of testing. Hence why things like MMR and Hit Validation were enabled on the live build and not PTB.

You report it in-game and send a support ticket with evidence. If it's a felony, as you say, then you could also contact the police.
^ Do this and additionally: If you do not have a static IP address, turn off your router for 5 - 15 minutes (anything shorter than that won't release the IP) and if the problem persists, please contact your ISP too.
If you have a static IP, please contact your ISP. They'll know what to do.

I think this is rather a case of someone being a bit confused, cause it does specify gens that are not being repaired will be affected by TT. Don't worry too much about it, I'd say.

Always boop the snoot. Even if it kills you.
-
At this point this is just a back and forth with throwing sticks around. Closing this down now. I've mentioned to be friendlier and that it goes for everyone, but that didn't happen.
I'll also give a general tip: For a discussion it's easier to discuss if there is a reason.
Edit: To be more clear: This is a open discussion board. People can comment with opinions on any thread they want, that goes for everyone - for some it might be easier to understand if they know why something is asked for.
Nonetheless, people can freely share their opinion and discussion points just like the other party can too, that's the main thing of open discussion boards.

The jump from 360 to One is WAY bigger than from One to Series X.
The first is an actual generation gap. The second is just a more powerful console. The Xbox One was the first in a line of Xbox that are all essentially the same platform. Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X. All the same platform just varying power of the console.
Like when I play an Xbox One game without Series X enhancements I'm not playing a backwards compatible game like if I went to play a 360 game.
Xbox Series X is a whole new generation just like PS5 is... https://www.xbox.com/en-ca/consoles/xbox-series-x?source=lp
Also let's try to be a bit friendlier, that goes for everyone :)

You have to make a new thread, I can't move it due it to being a bug report. ANd if you're on PC, please post your log-file in Technical Issues.
HOW TO GET YOUR LOGS (THIS PART ONLY APPLY TO PC PLAYERS):
When you get the issue, close your game and do not reopen it until you get your logs.
- Press Win+R
- Type in appdata
- Press OK
- In opened window navigate to: \Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
- Usually you would need to attach the DeadByDaylight.log file.
- Add the file to your bug report
-
It is more or less a bug, so please report it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
Please don't report them. Check out the game rules: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules Usually if something is bad enough to be banned for, it'll be here until it's fixed.
