How do you know your MMR?
Nobody knows. Nobody knows about half the things we talk about on here. That's why it's hard to take everything on here seriously.
On the other hand, hackers know their specific mmr range.

This is reportable, bannable, and you should be doing your part to report them. Get them out of our game so we don't have to deal with the cheating scum anymore.
First, you need to record your match. If on Playstation it is the share button. On PC you need to either use the XBOX bar, your video card, or something else. When this starts just start a recording. After you die go back in the match on the cheater and record them cheating for extra evidence.
Then, on the endgame screen you click the button that says, "WORKING WITH THE KILLER" on the survivor that did this. If the killer participated, don't forget to report them as well, because that is also against the rules. This should be obvious. If a survivor is standing right in front of the killer and pointing the killer should be downing them, not going where the survivor pointed.
Now save and upload your video to Youtube. You can make it private to everyone except those you share it with.
Finally, you create a ticket here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Get banned, cheaters!
That sounds like work.

Why don't we just buff the game and delete killer role?
You don't need to worry about any toxic Killer move
And just enjoy your game with a bot who can't think and doesn't have brain?
That wouldn't be so bad, actually. Considering that half the current player base seem like bots already.
-
I dunno. I usually think its awesome when I do gens/unhooks/healing the entire match and then the killer lets the person, who hid in a corner the whole time, escape. I deserve it for playing this game.

I would give you my whole bag of red ones for 10 of your grapes ones. And that's my first offer.
Deal!

You gotta sweat it out.

Nobody tips artists. Hence the term 'starving artists'. Trust me, I know.

If they do that I hope they can do it in wheel form like Sea of Thieves or Smite. It's so convenient.

I would make it last 1 hour.

Around 45 minutes as survivor.
When I play killer the games usually last 25-30+ minutes, regularly.

Looks like the warning disappeared. Huh.

Are we allowed to posts codes now?

I'm glad to hear that you are all enjoying it.

Vent away! We know how you feel. I want to play dbd, but I know what it will be like. I feel 1000% better not playing.
I will probably play again when the halloween event starts.

You can't just "report them" you don't know who in the match did it
I misunderstood what you were actually saying. Makes sense now.
-
I'm corn neutral.

It's because you haven't spent enough money.
-
I don't consider 1 crouch as teabagging. I stay far away from spam crouchers though. I don't want to look guilty by association.
If I see a survivor spam crouch at the gate I always somehow end up accidentally blocking them and then escaping when the killer grabs them.
-
I wonder if they're just playing dbd until their rap careers take off?

I voted for him.

Then don't do those challenges. Problem solved.

But then we would all realize that we are constantly playing with 8-15 years olds.

Yeah, I couldn't discern the irony because I don't speak English.
My apologies. I feel shame for me.
No worries. It can be hard to determine peoples intentions when its just words on a screen sometimes. We all have misunderstandings. No hard feelings.

I'll admit, my mistake. I forgot I mentioned farming right at the end and got caught up talking about what I do and forgot I wrote that. I don't know if you know but you can do an advanced search. In there you can search for posts from specific people on the forum. I selected Mandy from the drop down under "author" and in the word search typed in "farming".
I did not know that. Thank you.

Should I completely change my play style depending on the skin?
Do you think any killer should dance if any one person wears a mask?
As long as it is not TOXIC, I think any playstyle is basically free. But forcing it is a bit different.
The survivor who wants to have a tea party is now matched with your idea of a "mean killer" in DbD, and you can't prohibit a killer from going for the execution. Or are skins for tea parties and clubs the ticket to providing a free escape?
If you think that survivors and killers in DbD should get along and dance at tea parties and clubs, why don't you suggest casual matches to the management, as I mentioned a bit in my quoted comment.
I was being sarcastic. ✌

Title. Y’all really that salty about being downed? 5 gens left, meat packing plant, all dc’d as soon as they went down. I let last one get hatch. And y’all complain about solo q.. THIS is one of your main issues.
Looks like fun. Did you load into another game after that? How did it go?
-
Nope. If he communicates with customer service they'll tell him to restart the router and all that rigmarole. Then when all avenues are exhausted they'll tell ya to contact your internet service provider or the company that made the pc or console you're using. They won't even mention the fact that other players can access your ip address in game and ddos you.
You could always try though.

こんにちは。
I see this title and content as saying "Killers don't kill survivors, don't hook survivors, don't leave survivors alone, entertain them and make sure they get out", am I mistaken?
Should we create a thread called "Generators, Rescues, Boards, and Windows?"
What is camp for survivors? Is it a problem for the killers to stay near the hooks to be more efficient and increase the number of executions? Or is it frustrating that the other three make their escape and you, the competent scapegoat who has attracted the most Killer attention, are unable to escape?
What is tunneling for the survivor? Do you understand which is more efficient for the killer to go after the healthy survivor or the injured survivor after the survivor has been rescued? Should it be forbidden to go after a survivor after they have been rescued no matter what?
What is slugging for the survivor? If a survivor is right next to a downed person, do you have to carry him or her immediately without injuring or downing him or her? Or is it impermissible to have a vision of executing everyone after the downing of one of the two remaining survivors?
Does the cover of the Survivor's Rulebook say "DbD of the survivors, by the survivors, for the survivors"?
If you have to carry a survivor down immediately, if you have to leave immediately after hooking them, and if you are not allowed to target rescued survivors no matter what, then "DbD is not a game of choice".
What I really want you to know is that unless you are casual, you are playing with the goal of executing killers, just as survivors play with the goal of escaping.
If you think that camping, tunneling, and slugging is anyone's idea of maliciously trying to make survivors feel uncomfortable, you are wrong. If one does it with malicious intent, it is TOXIC. I would despise it too.
We should be able to understand each other. Survivors and killers should both have a mutual, if not casual, desire to win.
I understand your frustration with camping, tunneling and slugging. But I do not think they should be banned. I do think we should add some incentive or feature for survivors when they do that.
sorry poor my english
To be fair, some of the skins do make this game look like we are getting together to have a tea party or go to a club. So why does the killer have to be so mean?

wahhhhh, killers don’t play how I want them to play.. by MY survivor rule book. Waahhhh.

It really does seem that way. I recently purchased killers that I have no desire to play because I don't want to sweat while I practice. When the bots are implemented later this year, I can't tell you just how overjoyed I'll be, because I'll be perfectly content never hopping into a live, sweaty, toxic match ever again.
I don't blame you.

Well, i am a solo survivor main, but i play both sides. I didnt use that tactic for a while now, but i get again a lot of swf who are rude and disrespectfull, teabagging, flashlightclicking, you know the lot.
And thus, i will now return to tunneling, camping and slugging. Because a) i dont need to be the only one feeling miserable about such matches, and b) they teabag a lot less if they are dead.
And yes, maybe not all survivors, but play killer, get those squads, and you wont care about that for too long.
They do teabag a lot less if they're dead.
That said, I think that the teabagging/flashlight clicking survivors are pretty much the same thing as the camping/tunneling/slugging killers.
At first I was only considering the survivor side of this argument because I experience it more often. Then I remembered what its like to go against a swf group full of teabagging flashlight survivors. I try to stay away from those when I see them in solo queue. I literally feel offended when I'm standing next to an obsessive teabagger. It's embarassing. I can see why killers camp/tunnel/slug more clearly now.

Maybe because every single match i play my teammates end up dcing when being tunneled right after getting unhooked? Litterally 1 dc then the next up is being tunneled to death or dc
Or they're getting ddos'd.

I'm going to share something direct and honest. You won't like it, but you must heed it: You've gotta carry the match, Pulsar. From the killer players in this forum, I've discovered that as a veteran player the expectation is that you..
- Loop for the gods. You must keep the killer occupied most of the time, without going down.
- Complete 2-3 gens, probably by yourself.
- Safely unhook and heal other survivors when needed.
If you can do all of that, you'll have earned an enjoyable solo queue game experience--at least per a plurality of killer mains on this forum.
More like complete 5 gens.
This game is turning into Track & Field from Nintendo NES. Everyone is way too busy running around, doing squats or hanging out in the locker room.

Ok I don't know about anyone else but has anyone been left to die on hook or reach second stage a ton more after 6.1.0?? The amount of times im just left on hook is astonishing.

I think if SoloQ is a plaything for killer-players, they need to give bonus in Auric Cells. It would be a salary as a service employee, because just entertain killer is not fun, then it's a job.

Lol I'm being treated to those double BPs for dying early. Love it! I haven't seen any incentives active for killer yet :(
I've seen 100% bp bonus for killer more times than I can count. You just have to play in the middle of the night, is all.
So set your alarm! Just kidding. Don't set your alarm.

@Junylar said:
What do you mean killer queues are exceeding 10 minutes, they implemented queue incentives which must've fixed the problem! Now you can get 10k bloodpoints instead of 5k for being left on the hook in soloQ!
What a game changer. Especially considering how the bloodweb is so much fun! (Sarcasm)
-
@Pulsar said:
Yeah. Solo Q is awful. Seriously, why does anyone play it?
I got left on hook from 1st to death AFTER I had been Reassurance'd TWICE.
I think, "Oh well, just some bad luck."
The very next game, exact same thing, except it's a Tombstone Myers. He just sits in front of me, Stalking and nobody even comes close to grabbing me. They just sit and t-bag in front of him and let him 99 his power. The girl who hide the entire game in and out of lockers gets out through the Gate because it spawned poorly for the Myers.
It's just been awful today and my Killer queues are exceeding 10 minutes, can't imagine why.
Thank the rift. It might improve in a week or two when everyone is done with their challenges. The best time to play is when the rift is closed and during events, really.
It's 2022 and cosmetics have become more important than gameplay.

Well you need to do a refresher course on how to search the internet. I found numerous posts that are from Mandy addressing this topic by using the search function on this forum. I don't even know how we got to the topic of farming anyway. I said I threw some matches. Not the same as farming.
You mentioned "farm" in the last sentence of the comment I originally responded to. I wasn't trying to say that you farm or suggested farming. I was moreso thinking about how the rift challenges sort of contradict regular gameplay. Almost to the point of commiting bannable actions.
Also, when I did a search I only looked at the first result. I just tried to find that result again to take a screenshot, but I couldn't find it😂. I definitely admit that I didn't put much effort into checking if farming was bannable.
Another thing, I think the forum is currently more fun than the game, itself. Which is why I still get on here even if I'm not currently playing. I think I was getting ddos'd out of games the last night I played.
-
@[Deleted User] said:

Nope. Mandy has said on this forum a few times that while they don’t encourage farming, it’s not a bannable offense unless you force someone to participate. A simple search would show you this. By the way, I thought you quit this game.
I did a search and it said farming is bannable. Also, I did quit.
