Badham Preschool isn’t survivor sided in the slightest. The fences make it frustrating and boring for the killer, but in terms of balance, there are a lot of loops that are fair for both sides.
Badham isn’t even close to Haddonfield, Fractured Cowshed, or Grim Pantry levels of survivor friendly.

Definitely Clown. Big boi has a buff coming soon for him and has PGTW and Bamboozle, 2 solid perks.
Pop is a perk that I would love to get for Spirit.

Pyramid Head is fun and strong. Deathslinger is also fun.
Two killers that are pretty oppressive but I main Spirit so who do I care 🤣

Love that spirit set. Too bad oni’s corresponding set is terrible
I also have two other sets for Spirit but I love this one the most.

Yeah, he is atrocious to play on mobile but obviously PC and mobile are different. Once you get a feel for him in one or two games, it becomes so much better to handle him.
Yeah I think I might get him. Honestly love his visual design as well.
-
@Yords said:
Very fun and one of the stronger killers in the game.
Also, the most morally superior to play lol
This is the one I’ve been considering. I played him a few times on the mobile version but he’s janky to play on that version. Still really fun tho.

Got ######### perks, but it's so much fun to shoot.
I’m not sure how bad I’ll be at slinger because I’ve played Huntress (another range attack killer) a few times and I’m absolutely terrible at her.
-
Pig Spirit Blight Billy
-
You’re not taking into account that Iri Head lasts the whole match and is a ranged attack while everything else you mentioned can be totem cleansed, or has a duration of being one-shot.
-
Pig should get a buff. She's one of my favorite killers as I really wanna see her get some love from BHVR.
-
I love these the most. I main both Meg and Spirit so yeah.
-
I want Spirit changed and I literally main her, but my gosh there's so many posts that complain specifically about her, it kind of gets old.
-
I think to counter a Hag, you need to do your best to spread out the remaining gens. If you get Hag in a really good 3-gen scenario, it's about impossible to win. That's why a good SWF team can bully Hags.
-
- Hag
- Freddy
- Pyramid Head
-
Survivor rulebook:
- After hooking a survivor, leave the map until they get unhooked.
- Don't go after the survivor that just got unhooked even if they run right into you.
- Don't tunnel people off of gens.
- Don't slug.
- Don't bring NOED.
- Don't play Spirit.
- Don't play Freddy.
- Don't play Deathslinger.
- Don't bring Iri Head.
- Don't bring Ruin/Undying (pre-nerf).
- Don't burn Sacrificial Ward offering so we can go to Haddonfield.
- Let me teabag you.
- Come watch me at the exit gate/hatch.
- And for the love of Pete, let us do the gens and escape.
-
How are you getting Spirits and Billys? I hardly ever see them anymore, especially Billy.
-
Top 5 least favorite maps:
- Haddonfield
- Rotten Fields
- Grim Pantry
- Hawkins
- Midwich (this is actually my favorite map in terms of visual design but the gameplay on it is awful)
-
Yeah, and it's always Grim Pantry. I don't even mind Pale Rose that much, but my gosh I feel like this game loves taking me to Grim Pantry when I play killer. It is so disorientingly awful to play on. I hope BHVR reworks that map or just scrap it from the game. Yeah, I hate Grim Pantry almost as much as Haddonfield. As I said, I don't have any problems with Pale Rose, but this game obviously hates me and always takes me to the Swamp map I despise.

Finally someone with good tastes

When a survivor makes a mistake/gets outplayed by me but they press E to "outplay" me back.
-
Only correct answer ^^^
-
This is not a good idea. You obviously don’t know what the issue with Spirit is. She needs to give the survivors information about what she’s doing. If she wasn’t able to hear injured survivors, she will lose information while still not giving information to survivors, which is what the main complaint is. Spirit would be so unplayable if you can’t hear anyone while in her power along with her still being a gamble to play against.
-
Favorite:
- Spirit - I find her playstyle to be super fun and rewarding. Only thing I don't enjoy is getting hits while standing still because that takes little to no effort, but other than that, I really love her.
- Pig - Boop the snoot.
- Blight - Man it feels so rewarding to get hits with lethal rush.
Least favorite:
- Nurse - She gives me a headache every time I play her. I suck with her but honestly I don't ever plan on trying to get good with her any time soon because she feels so disorienting to play.
- Freddy - Very boring and basic. His power is so simple for how strong he is.
- Myers - I really love Mikey and hope the devs can give him love soon, but playing at high level is frustrating as hell playing this man. Getting out of tier 1 takes an eternity and 3 gens pop by the time I make tier 2. I actually really enjoy playing as him, but because of this reason, it makes him to frustrating to play.

Love the spirit the way she is.
Lol you had me in the first half 🤣

add hag to that list. can't have strategic killers that reward the player for being good
Yeah I agree. Survivors don’t want these killers to receive a buff to compensate because they want everything to be easy.

The only issue I ever had with spirit was when we couldn't tell where she was when she was phasing, even if it is now a very slight noise she makes, it still balanced her. Now she's pretty okay and I'm not sure why people want her nerfed further?
Yeah, that's about all she needs to be balanced. Maybe also give her a bigger penalty for a bad read with some minor buffs, and then she's fixed.
-
@EvilJoshy said:
The "community" doesn't have a problem with spirit. "Survivor mains"(The ones that suck against her) have a problem with Spirit.
There are killer mains that also have an issue, and I agree she has issues but some of the ideas people have to "fix" Spirt will make her weaker and/or keeping the same issues she currently has while making her more disorienting to play.
-
@Unnamed_Freak said:
They are doing so she is nerfed. They did the same thing with Nurse, Hillbilly and Freddy(although his was deserved).
They are doing it to Spirit because they want her nerfed, and the next is probably Deathslinger.
Survivors want her nerfed in a way that makes them be in control of the chase like they already are with 90% of the killer roster. That to me is super unfair and pure entitlement. Spirit doesn't need a nerf, she just needs to be changed in a way where she's still powerful and controls the chase, but in a fair way like Nurse.
-
Yet another post about Spirit. These Spirit posts are getting more repetitive than working on gens.

Getting a single kill as Freddy takes quite a bit of effort and most weaknesses of m1 killers apply to him, especially if you're running fake pallets. The general complaint is that Freddy has 4 abilities that are all useful, not that he can't be outplayed.
Spirit you really can't outplay without running a dumb no mither stealth build, the bastard will hear you and get a free hit unless you're just sitting on a pallet and the coin flip of hit validation is on your side
I do agree with that, Spirit for sure needs a rework to make standing still a lot weaker and reliable counterplay, but the Spirit player still needs to be good and know what they’re doing. Bad Spirits are honestly really easy to deal with.

Yes in my experience it was ez and it wasn’t a few games... I ended up playing her enough to get her to 50. I had bbq at rank 2 so that’s what 40-50k bp per match? Being generous with the bp gain that’s 32 matches.
Just because she was easy to you doesn't mean she's easy for everyone. We really need to drop the "use a headset to easily 4k with Spirit" narrative already because it's kinda silly. Freddy is the ez mode character we should be talking about.
-
It’s gotten to the point that this community is just obsessed with Spirit because they won’t shut up about her. Just because you’ve had a few games that you 4k’d against teams that none of us know if they’re good or not, doesn’t mean anything. I 4k’d my first few matches as Blight so therefore he’s ez mode according to your logic...

but HOW is spirit!?!?
She’s doing fine I’m with her right now
-
I play her regularly
-
Probably around $60.
-
My favorite has gotta be Badham Preschool. It's an overall balanced map with safe areas that aren't ridiculous for the killer to handle. Midwich Elementary School would probably be my favorite if the gameplay wasn't so disorienting. It is the creepiest map in the game imo, and I absolutely love that. Other maps I like are Coal Tower, Ironworks of Misery, Father Campbell's Chapel, Dead Dawg Saloon, Lery's, Torment Creek, and Temple of Purgation.
I have a lot of maps I completely despise including: Haddonfield, Hawkins, Disturbed Ward, Rotten Fields, Shelter Woods, Grim Pantry, and Disturbed Ward.
-
If they nerf BBQ before nerfing Object, then I don’t know how anyone can say the devs aren’t survivor bias anymore.
-
Suiciding on hook isn’t doing you, the other survivors, or the spirit player any good. You’re not improving your game by doing that, and you’re taking the fun away from the other players. Just make the best of it, because there are a few ways you can play around her. I agree she does need a rework coming from a spirit main, but you need to at least try and to not ruin the experience for the players around you.
-
Depending on how fun a certain killer is is super subjective. I can't really say which killer you should get. I love Spirit the most but I won't recommend her over Oni just because I find her the most fun. Maybe you will find Spirit more fun but how would we know? I would just watch gameplay of both killers and you can make your decision based off that.
-
Yeah I never understand why people do that. People should be allowed to play whoever they want. That's why being a Spirit main is so tough because you get accused, bashed, and judged just for playing a video game character you like.
-
@BioX said:
so now the question remains, why do you main spirit?
Very silly question. People can play Spirit if they want to lol.
-
As a Spirit main, I appreciate putting the time and effort into making a post like this, but there's just not much you can do against Spirit. Now, I'll say that the Spirit player still needs to good to be oppressive as these tricks will 100% work against a bad Spirit.
I don't think that a player should be forced to run a specific perk to hopefully counter a killer that might show up in one of their games is fair at all. Let's say you are wanting to bring Iron Will in case you get Spirit in your game, but you actually get Plague as Iron Will is super useless against her. Do you see what I mean? A perk shouldn't be the only reliable counter to any killer. Imagine if Doctor was so oppressive that you had to bring Calm Spirit in every game to have a chance against him, that would make him as equally hated as Spirit is.
I have definitely gotten juked before by survivors that know what they're doing, but it's not that big of a deal when I do as it doesn't take that much time for my power to recover unless if I have to use the full duration. There really needs to be a bigger penalty for Spirit's power when she missuses her power. I'm thinking she should lose around 40% to 50% of her power instantly after she comes out of her power while still keeping the same burst of speed coming out. This can reward the survivors for outsmarting the Spirit because as of now, the reward for countering her isn't that much. On top of that, there needs to be a tell when she's using her power so survivors can play around it without having to toss a coin.
Now don't get me wrong, Spirit's my girl, I love her bunches. She's so fun to play and I just fell in love with her the second I started playing her, but she's in massive need of a rework. As it stands right now, a very good Spirit has very little counter play and the counter play that she does have doesn't reward the survivors enough.
-
I felt this being a solo queue survivor
-
No one thinks Dead Hard is OP. The main issue with Dead Hard is that it completely erases the survivor’s mistake and/or takes the killer’s reward away from outsmarting and outplaying the survivors by just pressing E.
It’s so frustrating to go against it as killer because the survivor gets a free pass. It’s the only small PP exhaustion perk in the game imo, because at least with Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, and Lithe, you have to actually use them smart and plan accordingly. With Dead Hard, just press E and all your mistakes have been forgiven. That’s why I hardly ever run Dead Hard.
-
My favorite has always been Spirit ever since the moment I first started playing her. I love her play style of going invisible and catching survivors off-guard. It feels very satisfying and rewarding to do so. I also enjoy Billy, Blight, Pig, and Doc, but none of them compare to Spirit for me. I really wish Spirit was more fair to go against because man do I love her.
-
I don’t play Nurse at all, but I do have one piece of advice for you. If a survivor is trying to throw you off by breaking line of sight, use your first blink to close the gap by blinking to the location where LOS was broken rather than where you think they’re gonna go and then use your second blink to react accordingly.
-
These two are really not easy at all and I’m not sure why you mentioned them over Freddy.
-
I’m curious why you didn’t put Spirit on here. I main her but she does need to be changed a little.
