People are literally so pathetic that they can’t handle the idea, of a possible LGBT character in a video game. It’s not even confirmed.

I don’t understand how there are SO many posts saying it’s bad for the game?

”It’ll be forced” Well. If they’re the only lgbt character you’re most likely gonna make that a part of their story.

Would the people who say that’s forced say that the heterosexuality of nurse is forced. I mean she has a charm with her husband. So in that case how is that not forcing it but a gay character talking about being gay is?

People ALSO need to relalise the game we’re playing. The entity feeds on strong emotions. And a LGBT person is likely to get bullied more.

Also why would the entity suddenly decide not to take someone cause they’re not straight?

The lore is roughly based on emotions or emotional topics.

Dwight - He felt average and hated

Meg - Caring of her dying mother

Claudette - Anxiety and growing her confidence.

    Jake - Family issues.

    Wraith - Guilt

    Billy - Repression

Pretty much all the characters have a central theme that conveys an emotion. So... what if the lgbt’s character was love, or loss.

There isn’t an argument against it.

”Representation is forced” Not really. Look at all our POC characters. Claudettes story is not defined by race. It’s defined by HER.

So to all the homophobes saying it doesn’t fit.

    Cope.

Exactly this. Coming from a heterosexual, I don’t understand how bringing in an LGBT character is “bad for the game.” This world has this huge issue that tries to justify that being gay is bad when really sexuality has the same thing in common with gender and race - they were born with it and it doesn’t define anyone’s personality.

I think bringing in a gay character is awesome because LGBT doesn’t get nearly as much recognition as it deserves. Anyone that is against this whole ordeal is part of the problem tbh.

  • I feel the same way. I can't have the same fun I used to have when I play killer.

  • They'd still be oppressive because it's still a free one shot down for the whole game. I think Scott Jund's idea where Iri Head only gives one shot downs for throws that were far is a good idea. It should still reduce the number of hatchets by 4 and Infantry Belt should still be able to increase to 3.

  • Survivor: Hawkins

    Killer: Haddonfield

  • I sometimes play Spirit with Enduring or Brutal Strength for memes lol

  • Pig isn’t my main but she’s one of my secondaries.

  • Honestly I think I might have attracted a troll lol

  • Haddonfield is the epitome of horrible map design. If there is any survivor that think Haddonfield is fair and balanced, I will go off.

  • If you’re up against a confident survivor, you can use your red stain to bait the survivor into thinking you’re doubling back to the other side of the window and then moonwalking in shack to catch them out.

  • I would have to say that that Territorial Imperative idea will make the perk super oppressive I guess it’s like Make Your Choice and Devour Hope where you have to be far enough away but if you’re Billy, Blight or any other killer that has high mobility, then it becomes way too OP. Basement is already unfair enough and this idea for Territorial Imperative honestly would have potential to be more hated than NOED imo.

I feel like this idea for Predator would kill stealth gameplay for survivors that enjoy stealth. Yeah it’s only for 4 seconds, but it would still be too hard to be able to hide from the killer. The idea sounds cool though, I just feel like that could be a major hole in it.

I do really like the idea for Hex: Huntress Lullaby though. I feel the main issue with Lullaby currently is getting 5 stacks on it takes almost the same requirements as Devour Hope does but the reward you get from Devour Hope completely outlasts the reward you get from Lullaby. This proposal would make it easier to gain stacks because survivors would be forced to hit great skill checks.

  • They should just remove attempting to escape on the first stage and spamming the space bar on the second stage tbh

I’d be down if a killer was named “The Bad Word”

  • It’s a better version of that last one we got, but I still miss the old hud. The devs didn’t fix the issues this new hud had where everything isn’t aligned properly. I have OCD and that really messes with my head.

  • I can see Darth Vader being a very oppressive killer to go against lol

Could work both ways. It would also remove the Stridor complaints:

Every 1-1.5 seconds (don't know which) while phased, Survivors can hear the Spirit while the Spirit can hear the Survivors. This affect lasts 0.5 seconds, after which neither can hear each other again.

This would give both something to work with. Spirit would still see scratch marks and would still have the upper hand as a result, but both would only hear each other inconsistently. It could be hard coded to avoid both Stridor and Iron Will, so IW would still work when Spirit isn't phased, as would Stridor, but both perks wouldn't be helpful during phase.

I would be down for that

Bud, we're not talking about hag.

And hag has a lot of disadvatange (spirit has WAY LESS disadvatanges)

    • Hag traps get hard countered by flashlights
    • Hag is a 110% (Spirit is a 110% too but her power makes her really fast)
    • You can easily counter them by crouching

And hag takes a lot of skill.

Ok I'm gonna have to disagree with Hag taking a lot of skill. It doesn't take that much time to learn where to place traps. New players will be bad with her, but if you're experienced, just place traps in good spots and that's literally all you need to learn.

I would like it if Spirit always made her WHOOSHING noise whenever the Survivor is within her terror radius. That way they can't stand still to try and mind game a pallet. I also wouldn't mind some kind of sound cue to play non-directionally that lets the Survivor know she is within like 5m while phased. Just to let them know they have a split second to try something to avoid a hit.

Good Spirits would likely have no real issue dealing with those kinds of changes. Good Survivors would be able to at least TRY something with them. As it currently stands, pallet humping and hoping you picked the right side is kinda lame.

I wouldn't mind directional audio as long as it was inconsistent. It would definitely remove the stand still "2000 IQ mind game."

The reason why is because they themselves know there's almost no proper counterplay to Spirit in a chase except guessing at nothing...which they confirm by saying that Spirit is supposed to have no feedback of the sort and that's the whole point. So...the point of Spirit having almost no real counterplay still stands, and anything that you do against her is making a wild guess and using iron will.

I don't get it lmao. It's fine if a killer has difficult counterplay, or forces you to play in a different way (Huntress, Nurse, Blight, Demo, Oni...etc) but all we want is some actual feedback on her power to make it less frustrating.

Exactly this. I love Spirit to death. She's the killer I mostly enjoy, but she needs to have some sort of indicator on what she's doing so the survivors have something to react to.

People say the counter play to Spirit is forcing her to react to you, but any good Spirit player will always be able to react and track exactly where you are because she simply moves super fast having all the information while the survivors have barely any information. It can work against bad Spirits, but that's just an invalid way to prove that the counter play exists.

  • I’ve said this many times before but it’s Spirit for me. Going invisible and catching survivors off guard is really enjoyable. I don’t use Stridor ever and catching out Iron Will users feels so rewarding. I do wish the devs can fix Spirit to make her fair and fun to go against while keeping her just as fun to play as.

Pig, Blight, Doc, and Clown all round up the top 5.

I’ve been saying this but people still think there’s some unknown strategy that works every time.

I’ve tried tru3’s strays and everything recommended to me but they’ve only worked against terrible spirits

Anyone who thinks they have counterplay should do a custom against a good spirit and try them

I pretty much feel the same way

  • Pretty much I agree coming from a Spirit main. I hope the devs can give her some reliable counterplay without making her useless. Also, I’m glad to see you’re not one of those people that are asking for Spirit to get gutted.

  • Spirit for me. I’ve formed a connection with her and can’t ever get bored of her.

  • Spirit. I just really love her and find her so much fun to play.

  • By default, Spirit’s terror radius is 24 meters. You can hear your phasing sound if you’re outside of the husk’s terror radius and if she’s heading towards your general direction. If you’re in the terror radius within 21-24 meters, then you’ll hear a little quiet sound that could be easily blocked off by a gen sound but it is there. 20 or less meters, there won’t be a sound, only the heartbeat. Prayers Beads applies to this as well, it’s just everyone will hear the sound as long as they’re out of the terror radius or 21-24 meters away.

  • I have made the decision that I never wanna play against you

  • I mean no. You just need practice like everyone else.

Well someone’s salty that the OP likes Spirit

  • @Official_hilbert said:

The Spirit in my eyes os the only killer in the game that needs a heavy nerf. Her phase walking is definitely one of the worst things to go against as a survivor.

The real problem likes on that there’s almost literally no way to tell where she is going or coming from, and as a survivor, it’s your task to figure out a way to get away from the killer but how can you do that when you can’t even see the killer.

Other fast traveling killers have a way of telling you when they’re doing it: Legion makes your heartbeat fast, Billy’s chainsaw can be heard, nurse faces a direction and has a trail showing where she is blinking to, blight literally makes a sound when he dashes. The spirit however has no cue other than a sound, and it’s pretty difficult to determine where it’s coming from either.

They need to make it so we see glimpses of her as she is phasing so when can better determine what she’s doing, her gameplay is way too guess filled and just like huntress main who know how to hit shots with iridescent head (which has been in the game for the entire time she’s been added and is still a major problem) is a little overpowered

I understand she needs a change but why are you asking for a heavy nerf? It’s gotten to the point where y’all just want her to be gutted.

    True!

Recently I've played against a very competent team, and I totally annihilated them as Twins. Well, they were so mad, that the second last survivor disconnected to give hatch to the last survivor, and they were so salty about it in the end-game chat. They all called me a failure of a human being and the like. But, it's honestly so satisfying to see budget tournament squads get destroyed and cry about it!

It’s so silly people feel the need to do that. All it does is give the killer a double win: winning the match and receiving the salt.

Oh I've gotten a ton of salt, but that's really fine. Before I was playing Spirit I was getting people making fun of me for losing. If I'm going to be mocked I'd at least like to be looking at a sore loser rather than a bad winner.

Seeing salty sore losers honestly makes my day.

  • Glad to hear it. She is so much fun to play. I’ll have to warn you that you’ll get a lot of survivor salt for playing her but if you’re not worried about that, keep playing her.

  • No matter how many Yamaoka’s we have, Spirit will always be the best.

    1. Spirit
    2. Ghost Face
    3. Pig

i would put hag and demo over plague as hers is well just puking then hitting survivors once with her weapon.

meanwhile hag and demo literally eat the survivor alive, demo is definitely S tier for me.

It’s the prayer she does before vomiting that I love about Plague’s

    @NoOneKnowsNova said:

Personally, move Doc and Blight into A tier, Oni and Slinger into S and Clown into B tier. Otherwise I mostly agree.

Ghost Face and Plague are too good not to have their own tier imo

This list is pretty much what I think, with the only changes being Deathslinger and Oni in S-Tier. The animation is so brutal, Oni's is by far my favorite. What's more brutal then a guy TEARING OUT YOUR TONGUE WITH HIS BARE HANDS.

As for the D-Tier... Yeah. I like when Wraith pulls the survivor to him, and that's it. The rest of it is a gentle back massage.

I would’ve put Slinger and Oni in S. I just really love the moris that Ghost Face and Plague have that I had no choice to put them in their own tier.

Wraith really needs a mori rework. It’s so basic and I’d rather watch paint dry looking at his.

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

being unpredictable at vaults/pallets is the best you can do so it is kinda a gamble yes.

However i don't think they will introduce an actual reliable way to know her location while phasing as it makes her incredibly weak, when she had the audio bug where she was making the gasping noises in phasing you could easily play safe against her at nearly all pallets especially shack.

The only nerf i think she could use is a visual indicator she went onto phasing, it's said she has that but it is so unnoticeable that it needs to at least be more clear as i can look straight at a spirit and not notice anything.

She does do a little animation but you basically have to be looking at her at the exact time she does it. It’s not really that reliable to counter Spirit. The devs really need to make it more noticeable.

  • Her footsteps are super hard to hear. Even if you do hear them she still moves at the speed of light and will hit you anyway. I will say that when she starts a phase her husk’s hands kinda change place rapidly. It’s hard to catch out but at least it’s something. Other than that, it’s choosing an action and hoping it works. There are things you can attempt to throw them off but it’s really up to the Spirit player on whether or not you survive. It’s kinda a shame she’s like that because she’s my favorite killer and the devs really need to give Spirit counterplay.

If you bring regression perks as Spirit: YOU'RE BAD !

If you don't bring regression perks as Spirit: YOU'RE BAD !

    According to survivors lol

  • Survivors really need to stop complaining about slugging because it’s a requirement to win due to how fast gens go.

  • Well that’s false because I play Spirit and don’t bring that

  • Who tf brings Pop and Ruin?

  • You can use your chainsaw sprint on the edge of the map for mobility as they are just straight lines. Other than that, there isn’t a whole lot of places to reliably move fast around that map. You can definitely sneak up on a lot of people especially if you have things like Dark Devotion or Tinkerer which are really good for both chainsaw killers.
