Probably because your contradict it yourself. I've chosen to address the survivor portion since it's untrue in more than just the Nurse's case, and can't be 100% of the time if Nurse wins if she plays perfectly.
If a survivor plays perfectly (against anyone other than Nurse [or maybe Blight]) , they win 100% of the time. This is ok!
If a Nurse (and maybe Blight) plays perfectly, they win 100% of the time. This is very very bad, help me BHVR nerf Nurse (and maybe Blight) please noooooooo!

My point is that Nurse is not a "free win" ;)

Man you really think you're top stuff huh?
Newsflash: Nurse is only hard and 'high skill' in the context of DBD. Which isn't really not that demanding in the skill department. You're not gigabrained, you're not faced with impossible odds, and you're not that special. The quicker you realize this, the faster we can get less cringey threads.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2907677#Comment_2907677
It's the opposite. A perfect nurse will always win, because a survivor realistically has nothing to work with if her power is used to its fullest potential. You're projecting your inadequacies as fact and seeing anyone better than you as 'playing perfect' when there's really no such thing beyond cheaters.
"It's the opposite"
*proceeds to exactly paraphrase my post*
Huh.

Plays perfect by doing what? Using the first blink to close the gap and second to get secure a hit? It’s unreal how overrated Nurse’s skill cap is to play as and against.

Yes.

Defending Nurse is about as wild as defending Dead Hard.
Why? Because if a Nurse player plays perfectly, she wins? If a survivor player plays perfect, he wins 100% of the time yet nobody complains about it.

Its the perk Tier should be removed, not double BP gain.
You earn 18.000 BP, you use it to get Items/Addon/Offering for the next match (With the maximum possible is 25.000BP)
Earn double BP would make people only use high rarity addon/item.
Earn double BP would make people only use high rarity addon/item.
That's pretty much how it is already. Nobody even bothers using a bad add-on because killers are already ballanced around their best add-ons so anything else would be gimping yourself even further.

I know that feel, fam. It ruined Freddy for me. And tanking the mmr doesn't seem to be helping. No idea how many games I need to lose until it gives me normal survivors again.
You'd need to tank your mmr with every killer before it starts to make an impact, no?

LOL.
In all honesty, no one knows what their MMR is. If you are resorting to face-camping and tunneling-off-hook, you probably aren't in high MMR.
It takes 18 wins for killers to reach max MMR. Even less to actually be put in high MMR games because of the low killer population. Which DH being so broken is definitely contributing to.
-

Ok
And why do you think you're at high MMR?
Because you camp and tunnel for the 3K/4K?
I know I'm high mmr because survivors don't dead hard into the freaking walls lmao

Just bait it out
Half the time their so focused on when you're going to swing their not paying attention to what's in front of them they run in to walls, trees and things. Don't swing like a crazy person and you'll be all right.
No offense but if you're in an mmr level where people unironically DH into walls then you're not in a position to hand out advice. It just muddies up the discussion when you trivialize an actual problem just because you play against opponents that make basic mistakes such as this.

Finally someone else! I main Legion and words can't describe how much I HATE the fact that most of their skins are "anime shy angst Suzie" edition. Seriously, the punk artist skin? Suzie. Never stop slashing? Suzie. The most recent skin? Suzie. Of all members I definitely like her the least yet she has the most skins. And its just to appeal to the greasy simps.
I like playing the male Legion and I have what, 3 cosmetics to choose from? Only 2 that I kinda like anyway.
Alright, rant off.
You chose to be a greasy simp to the maple members of the group and now you are upset you only got half of the skins? Seems like you need to reconsider your life choices which lead you to this situation. If you want to have plenty of choices you have to play everyone because there are only so many skins to go around all 4 members.

its not a Julie skin! it literally uses SUZIES BODY. theres a very distinct and massive difference between how suzie and julie look, and the ONLY reason they have the same face model is because behavior isn't about to make an entirely different face for a white teen girl, when both of them wear masks and are never seen ANYWAY. you gotta be trolling at this point.
It's quite clearly Julie cosplaying as Susie because they're such good friends like that. It's still a Julie skin.

Fair enough then what would you suggest to combat the unfair advantage SWF with comms have? The impact to solo queue survivors must also be considered.
When they were implementing bloodlust they originally imagined a fatigue system where the survivor got slower as chases went on but the feedback from testers was pretty bad, so instead they went with buffing the killer's speed. The point is that people really resent being weakened so buffing solos and killers would be more acceptable than outright nerfing sweefs.
Tl;dr make solos and killers have 5 perks instead.

When I read the thread title I immediately dropped in to answer "You don't". Imagine my annoyance when I realized you had already outplayed me.

So OBIOUSLY I love Legion--psyched for their update, yay--but I gotta say their skins are kind of a big fat BUMMER because really Legion is 4 characters in ONE, and it makes the odds of getting a cool skin even less for the one you like to play as. I love playing as Julie. I honestly can't stand the whole "uwu i didnt WEALLY wanna stab him..." Suzie story, and she gets ALL the cool skins and has way more stans than i can understand or tolerate. She gets the new year skin, the cyper punk skin, the killer kitty skin... and even Joey gets really cool skins with his hi-vis and mecha mask skin. JOEY AND SUZIE EVEN GET THE HOLIDAY SKINS!??! Frank gets THE ultimate blight skin and Julie gets.... nothing. Literally bottom of the barrel crap.
All the other characters have bunny suits, so that doesnt really count because one--its a gag bunny suit that they all get and the only differs in color and how the model stands--and the ONLY other skin she "only"(because frank also has it) gets is the party crasher skeleton skin--and honestly that one sucks for her, at least on Frank his whole body is painted(because no tetas).
It just sucks. Legion already is a pretty under-skinned killer, for being out so long, and getting a DECENT skin for the one member of Legion you play is even harder. Dead by daylight devs seem to favor sad little girls--I took a look at their killer roster and pretty much EVERY female killer is a tragic one(imo) save for like 2(Julie and Pig).
Apparently a female killer who LIKES to do it, just aint worth their time.
I know this comes off as super whiney--but this kinda is a sore topic for me because all my mains are just WILDLY under-skinned. I play Jeff and Bill as my survivors. Bill has ONE skin(unless you manage to unlock his secret one in the rift) and Jeff is arguably one of the least played survivors in game. (oH jUsT pLaY a NeW mAiN--Not all of us wanna be bunny-ear Feng Mins, ok.)
Anyone else feel like this? Damn, Twins got it bad too but at least they share all their skins....
Hello, you seem to have mistankenly made an anti-Susie post. My advice is to delete it completely and substitute it with WE LOVE SUSIE GIVE HER MORE SKINS over and over again.
Just make sure to do it ASAP before people start to think you're actually unironically against Susie and she getting more new skins.

Nurse. The problem with this game is that, if both killers and survivors are playing perfectly, survivors will win every time. It doesn't matter how good the killer player is, the most he can do is to capitalize on the survivors' mistakes. If the survivors don't make mistakes, then they will win 100% of the time against even a perfect killer player.
All killers except Nurse. She inverts that relationship completely. The Nurse player will only lose if he makes a mistake and the only thing survivors can do is to capitalize on the Nurse's mistakes.
That's why she is so well designed. She is the only killer in the game whose win condition rests with the player, and not the oponent.
-
I have a DH and DS phobia so I want to ban those perks. Do it BHVR.

I've noticed there's a stigma against killers playing as usual when a survivor disconnects early.
Should the killer go easier in your mind? Let one survivor go or something?
None of it makes sense, it's not their fault for a teammate leaving early.
With that said, what's the opinion of adding a bot to help?
Do survivors slow down gens or stop looping when the killer is struggling? Do they give the killer free kills if the game was easy?
They're not entitled to anything. If there's a DC then that's their own d*rn problem.

If NOED was basekit, then survivors would be encouraged to actually do their secondary objective, cleansing totems, or else deal with NOED.

Survivors don't feel bad about them tunnelling gens, so don't feel bad about you tunnelling them. They don't get to dictate how you need to play the game, they sure pull no punches or care about if you're having fun or not. So why should you?
BHVR has specifically said tunnelling and camping are not against the rules. It's only against their made up BS rules which you ought to ignore and break at your heart's content.

Yes and to make the trials more engaging the entity could allow for bodyblocking. Plus I’m pretty confident David could bodyblock a legion member for example. They feed off emotions and I’d imagine altruism gives strong emotion juice
Susie can break reinforced pallets down with 2 kicks and easily carry an obese mexican lady on her shoulders. I'm pretty sure she could swat David right off her way with a bitchslap.

Any killer with a marginal amount of mobility makes it hell to deal with in solo queue where you can't coordinate Tinkerer procs. The perk is absolutely problematic.
This is definitely a time where the get good advice applies.

I think instead of skill checks, the game should just kill all the players if everyone is slugged, much like everyone dies on hooks when everyone is hooked.
It only deactivates if there's no dead hards in play.
I think you mean unbreakables. Though Soul Guard and No Mither can also give that effect.
-
@Killmaster said:
Tinkerer and Blight, name a more iconic duo! Why not shift the meta bit and allow technician to nullify such an annoying combination. We already have perks like Spine Chill that completely counter a killer's power so I don't see how one perk nullifying an annoying play-style can be much worse.
Sure, now how about Enduring countering DS or Stridor countering Iron Will?
Wait what's with all these cricket noises...

I’m skeptical about that. Every time someone escapes your MMR goes down, and if they are lower rated it goes down even more than if they are equal to you. So if you actually somehow got to high MMR when you shouldn’t be there then every escape would be significantly lowering it back down.
Killer mmr is pretty simple and straightforward.
0K = -40
1k = -20
2K = 0
3K = +20
4k = +40
Max MMR is 1,900 (soft cap) and the starting MMR is 1,200, but there is a rubberband effect prevents your lowest killer MMR to be more than 200 points less than your highest MMR killer. So if you are already 1,900 mmr with a killer, then every killer will have at least 1,700 MMR, even if you literally have never played him yet.
Between the highest and the default mmr is a 500 points difference (1,900-1,200), meaning it takes 18 4K games to reach max MMR.

Yeah, a big "No" on not counting Survivors hooked or in dying State. This would just be another excuse for Killers to camp. "But Whispers was on, so I stayed there!". There is a reason why it also activates on hooked Survivors.
I dont get the thing with the chase. When I am in Chase, I dont hear Whispers at all. (But for me, Whispers is mostly visual feedback, I dont really hear the Whispers that much, but look at the Icon)
In general, it is one of the best Tracking Perks in the game, if not THE best Tracking Perk.
I think it's really cute that you think we need an excuse to camp.

Also in what world are you only going against blight once every 20 matches?
What's your win-rate with Nurse?

Dude, people get paid millions and make careers out of throwing a ball through a hoop, or hitting a tiny white ball with a club into a hole.
Gaming is considered an esport and by nature PVP gamers are HIGHLY COMPETITIVE
When humans go against each other doing ANYTHING, it is considered competitive.
This game is as competitive as Tic Tac Toe. Do you know why Tic Tac Toe isn't competitive? Because when both sides are playing optimally, one side will always win, 100% of the time (whoever moves first). DbD is the same. When both sides are playing optimally, survivor will always win. The most a killer can do is capitalize on the survivors mistakes. Except Nurse, she inverts that relationship which is why survivors seethe at her so much, but that's neither here nor there.

You're completely wrong tho. CoH is a timesink. Let's pull out the numbers:
- finding a totem that wont get snuffed before you can use it ->30 seconds on average
- blessing the totem->14 seconds, 24 seconds if its a hex
- average time required to run to the totem if you are injured->7 seconds, 14 seconds if you're with 2 people to heal faster
- time to heal->21 seconds alone, 9 seconds together
- average time to run back/find an objective nearby->4 seconds, or 8 seconds when with 2 people
So thats a 44 second timesink just to have a decent boon active, then 32 seconds before you can be on a gen when alone or 31 seconds when together. Thats 78 seconds for the first average heal wasted.
Now, here is some other numbers:
- be an swf on comms
- Tell your teammate to meet up in the middle or at an objective->10 seconds on average
- heal up->16 seconds
That's it. 26 seconds to heal up on average, no items, no perks, just comms. Botany Knowledge is better for SWF than CoH.
finding a totem that wont get snuffed before you can use it ->30 seconds on average
Adding this is rather disingineous because it assumes you spend 30 seconds simply looking for the totem when most people will simply find the totem on their way to the next objective.
blessing the totem->14 seconds, 24 seconds if its a hex
The time removing the hex should not be counted because, presumably, the survivor would have removed it regardless of this perk. You also need to discount the time it takes for the killer to snuf the totem, 1 second. And since the killer's time is worth 4x that of a survivor, it should be only a 10 seconds investiment.
average time required to run to the totem if you are injured->7 seconds, 14 seconds if you're with 2 people to heal faster
That would like the be same time required to find a safe place to heal in the first place.
time to heal->21 seconds alone, 9 seconds together
That's still less time to heal than self care (32 seconds), which, unlike selfcare, is extended to the whole team.
average time to run back/find an objective nearby->4 seconds, or 8 seconds when with 2 people
Again, that's just as much time needed if the guy had ran to a safe place to heal.
