(seems like some people don't want to face strong killers) Saying strong, but balanced killers are "unfun" is just a bad excuse.
-
I get stronger with the tilt. An the devs are actually trying to balance the game to give everyone sum good moments. Not like some other devs (looking at you Blizzard).
-
Her footsteps are easy to miss if you are distracted, it's loud (demn gens or crying teamm8es) or got not that good headphones. It's difficult to play against spirit, but it's very possible atm.
-
Teabagging much. Coordinated dancing not much.

You lost me at the "Nurse isn't even that strong". Can't take you seriously after that.
Nurse is strong, but balanced without addons. Nurse is op with addons. What do you do?
Right! Make her addons useless AND nerf her basekit 4head!
-
Nurse as "Black Bride" with a bloody saw.
Date Kenson goes for a hike in the mountains.
I'm borin i know.
-
If he's doin it for 100 hours straight it's a meme. Keep it goin tho.
-
I only used to do it when i really wanted that 4k. Because of the broken hatch mechanic i have to do it all the time now.
Nearby, gl to apply that strategy to survivors that dc on first down lol.

I'm a Nurse main I just will eat your DS lol.
It literally doesn't matter it buys you maybe 10-15 seconds. As it should.
I eat em too. No reason not to. I don't have to deal with em in the endgame then.
-
I'm addicted. I even find myself playing nurse every evening on dedicated.

I do but not often. I never played her before dedicated so I don't have knowledge of what her hitbox was like before.
It was okay, but now it's bs. Same with any killer that needs quick reflexes and timing.
-
Oh my!
-
You're a lucky one. Not playing huntress do ya?
-
@Tensor said:
Im not being biased. I have had survivors escape that way on me. Perhaps you should have stopped so many gens being done. That a simple fix for you to do. Just like cleansing to stop noed. Same thing.
But...you know that the hatch is there anyway when one surv is left? Just asking you seem pretty new to the game.
-
Base nurse was a very good killer at high ranks, pretty average at mid ranks and garbage at low ranks. They are nerfing her, because some people are unable to learn. Period.
The nerfs push her down to trash tier at lower and mid ranks. In high ranks and the highest ranks she'll be average. People actually blinking perfectly every time, very rare ya know, will have good matches with her on the highest rank. With two, specific addons you can recreate base nurse, the only good thing i guess. Everything i said of course without the constant dedicated lags, grab bugs and backport bugs. If the servers don't get fixed, nurse, huntress, all those high skill killers that rely on prediction and fast reaction, will be trash tier. No exceptions.
-
How bout her traps only activating if the survivor saved and healed a minimum of three persons? Sounds lit na?
-
Im sorry m8. I got em out too, it's very painful and annoying for two weeks.
-
GF got one good build. Anti-heal. People want a nerf for him? No. Really no. His stalk is trash atm and making his stalk being the ability to get undetectable is a new legion.

Yeah but a lot of the time people use the word of tunneling it's because they got downed after recently being unhooked.
The amount of times I've had a survivor just been unhooked run into me, get down and then disconnect calling me a tunneler.
Well I won't exclusively waste my time to go look for one specific survivor who got off the hook if there are other survivors around if you happen to be the only person I see see I'm not going to give you a freebie because you've recently been unhooked
That survivors are idiots then.
-
I think removing self care would create way more good survivor players actually.
-
Idiot. Report, write gg and leave. That's what annoys them most. When you just don't get annoyed.

ups shirt!

Omega Nurse
-
I define "Tunneling" as "Intentionally going after the same survivor over and over, despite the other circumstances."
-
Why?
-
So you basically want to remove the whole mindgame potential of spirit...no thanks.

She's high average in my opinion.

I mean if you learn it early you get better on your own. Besides it only takes it happening one or two times to realize the counterplay. It's not like it's something that only an extremely refined intellectual could understand. If you get hit with a flashlight, face a wall so you can't be, it's kind of common sense. If you get hit with a pallet, there had to be another survivor there, again common sense.

Saying that the red ranked SWF member was the one who chose to face a red ranked killer is silly. It wasn't the red ranker's choice, it was the choice of all the people complaining that rank 20s should be facing red rankers if they have even one red ranker in the lobby, because somehow those rank 20s who don't know where is what or how to loop become godlike when a red ranker is in the lobby. While I did originally think this should be the case, I now disagree, because I've seen how terrible it makes matchmaking, and how easy those games are. It ruins the integrity. If you're a killer, you can choose to ignore the red ranker until last, and if you manage to kill the newbies before the gens are done, the red ranker is all that's left, it's now a 60/40 chance of you winning because you're faster, meaning the hatch is more than likely going to be found by you, or already has been, as you travel the map far more than survivors do. Bonus points if you're Wraith, because then this is all but guaranteed due to you moving at light speed. Newbie killers just had a grudge against the red ranker for being in their lobby that they focused solely on them. I still managed to win games against red rankers, because I still had a shot at 3 other people. Newbie survivors only have a shot if the red ranker is running the killer around, and the killer has the choice of picking which survivors to chase and which not to. 9 times out of 10 the red ranker won't do gens either, because they want to save their friends. This makes them try to follow you around. You shouldn't be handed an easy win just because it's SWF. I don't even see how this would be considered fun. You're basically just doing gens at that point as a killer.
Wanna quote you again: "You shouldn't be handed an easy win just because it's an Swf."
Your argumentation is: "You should be handed an easy win IF you are in a Swf."
The only difference between this two possibilities is, that in case one, what's currently the case, the swf players decide for themselves if they wanna go in a very difficult, possibly unfair match. In case two the swf players decide to go in a very easy, possibly unfair match.
The decision is not the killers one, it's the swf players one, if they wanna queue up like this. It's very frustrating for a killer when he is unable to catch a survivor ever. The killer is not some AI.

Good that people are finally realizing that Plague is not a weak killer. She is a strong killer.
But the propaganda rhetoric here likes to say Plague is weak and a worthless killer at the mercy of survivors. Probably to avoid getting her nerfed, and to ask for buffs later down the line. That or they're just drinking all the Streamer Kool Aid.
She's mid tier to be honest. Being T3 Myers without the speed, but with more notification where the survivors are is not particularily good. And additionally to that can the survivors decide when to cleanse

Yes, to their add-ons. If i missed them saying that they will buff their power please let me know.
I think the devs said something about "slight tweaks", if you know what i mean.
-
Devs are aware that it's not good. Balance changes incoming.
-
Play more survivor. It's good for your understanding of the game and it's problems.
-
Maybe they should just give him a Ranger one instead. Easy fix ya boi quention meta lul.
-
Using Doctor with no perks and addons on red ranks for a daily. Ogm i got rekt.

Unlimited would be great. Though I'd make a stipulation that it only works on Killer aura reading perks.
It should not work on Survivor aura reading perks for obvious reasons.
Only aura reading, but unlimited would be fine imo. "Infectious Fright" exists.
-
(play on PC)
-
It blocks aura reads and scratchmarks for ten seconds per token m8. You want a buff to sixty seconds? That means three times healing others without any notification with Nurses. Or 2/3 no Notification for BBQ. Or six times no Notification for "I'm all Ears".
Short, four tokens maybe, six tokens, never.
-
Most killer don't got a counter to the distance made up by BL. Especially on a hill a survivor will make sure to waste the maximal amount of your time by standing around there waiting for you to walk up.

I am thankful to this game for allowing me to meet some good people, even if some like me are a little weird, crazy and sometimes drunk :) Nice post.
I played nurse drunken recently. I found it really funny to just blink around the map randomly scaring survivors. Got me sum "gg ez baby nurse" but was funny as hell.

I wish they'd do a (successful, unlike the example) operation Health or something like siege did. Skip a dlc, maybe so some balance changes and focus on core gameplay and bugs.
If they would fix unbalanced things like Moris and Keys plus a huge load of bugfixes, i would skip a DLC for that one.
-
Killers like Doctor or Wraith completely rely on addons in higher ranks. I think many killer can be viable without addons, but some of em just need addons.
-
I hope they keep her base and rework the cooldown addons. I feel like they going to release her in this state.
-
The sabotage daily should be gone completely, because sabotaging is niche. Repairing gens or saving teammates not.

They can't flashlight save if you're facing a wall, structure, etc. They can't pallet save if you don't pick them up near a pallet, or chase anyone off who is near you. I learned this THROUGH those types of matches. You go after weaker prey because you can't kill the good survivor, sure, this also actually gives the newer survivors actual chase experience without being up against something they cannot handle, and gives you experience as a killer that is desperately needed, assuming you're not playing like a dick to begin with.
The new MM change makes potentially multiple low rank survivors against a red rank killer. So are you saying the killer's fun is more important than the low rank survivors? Because if there are two then you're saying that one person is more important than the other two. It cheapens the win for the killer, and puts newer survivors up against something they cannot compete with. How is it even fun to hit survivors who just basically give you the hook?
The things you mentioned above. I didn't knew the counters to all of those things as i hit rank 12 for the first time. And normally you learn those things as you get higher into purple and red ranks. Learning this the hard way, because you are forced to face red rank survivors in green ranks is not a solution in my opinion.
@shalo said:

The is entirely the choice of their red ranked SWF member, the match was ruined by that choice, not the killer.
That's it. As a green rank killer you can't decide if you want to go against a swf with some red ranks. But as a swf member you can decide if you want to play with higher/lower ranks, knowing how you'll get matched. You are not forced.

By "Sure, it wasn't fun", I meant when I was actively chasing the red ranker. The others were fine. The red ranker was obnoxious. I could easily go after the weaker prey and they weren't nearly as powerful. And this wasn't even at rank 12, more like rank 15-16.
Red ranks did pallet saves, flashlight saves, infinite plays and gens through ruin. One red rank is worth four yellow ranks. That's why the change was needed. You go after weaker prey, knowing you'll never be able to kill the good survivor, because the matchmaking decided it's fair. Not cool. And not dodgeable with private profiles.
The new mm change can be easily dodged. Don't swf with low ranks.

I honestly don't see why ANYONE would play KYF. I sure wouldn't, even if I had 5 friends who wanted to play. There is no point to playing KYF, unless you literally have nothing but time. You get nothing out of it.
As for newer survivors having a good experience, again, going solo in lower ranks is terrible. A rank 20 killer FAR OUTCLASSES a rank 20 survivor to the point where 4ks are easy AF. I've experienced it playing killer without camping, but most killers at that rank DO camp, making it even worse, especially because as a rank 20 survivor, you see a person on the hook and you want to make sure they get out. There's nothing but 4ks in rank 20. Do you think people in those ranks SWF just to bully the killer too? No, they do it to even stand a chance.
I've also played vs these red ranked survivors who got in groups with me when I was a mid rank killer. Sure, it wasn't fun, but I still got several hooks and at least one or two of them dead. The red ranked survivors were asses, but it didn't break me and I usually still did fine, and even got them on the hook a few times due to their cockiness. The only way a survivor who is low rank survivor will do well vs a killer who is red rank will be for them to literally be on gens while the red rank survivor runs them around. This teaches them absolutely nothing. The killer however can easily choose to ignore the red ranked survivor and go for the weaker ones, as I did when I had red ranked survivors in my games. Oh and, not every one of them was even in a SWF when I messaged them. There were times where I got a red rank who was entirely solo. Assuming it's a SWF isn't always correct. DBD's matchmaking is terrible.
1. I play KYF with my friends pretty regularily, i love the mode, no problems with it. Imagine playing dbd for fun lol.
2. I think i wrote that the experience for low ranks is not good.
3. Wanna quote u "Sure, it wasn't fun". Back in the days as i was a innocent rank 12 killer i got stomped every second match by some red ranks queueing with their friend. And yes it wasn't fun. So i lile the change.

Myers down, Freddy up, Plague up.
