Be grateful they made the UI worse for the majority of people? No, people should be able to voice their disapproval.

On the eye strain issue, you aren't those people, you can't say whether its hurting their eyes/giving them a headache or not. Playing Nurse gives me a headache because of the fatigue animation and how frequent it is. Other people clearly don't have that problem. That doesn't make it any less real or valid.

You shouldn't be applauding ignoring other peoples pain/discomfort/disapproval just because you personally don't have it. That's toxic and close minded imo. Especially with how widespread it seems to be.

The fact of the matter is, most people don't like the change, they said they didn't like the change in the PTB and when it got revealed, then it got pushed to live anyway, and then even more people got it and didn't like it, and the previous feedback was ignored so now those people who gave said feedback are a little peeved.

Most people don't like the change and they should be able to express that as long as its not an insult, attack, ect. But according to you we should be grateful they made this part of the game worse. That's asinine.

Not only is this a problem, they acknowledge it is a problem, and they DO NOT WANT to revert months of work. I too would not like to revert months of work if only a few people say "Hey I'm upset" but when a large number of people say they don't like it, and even more people are saying it when it goes live then they should look seriously at this. NOT ONLY THIS but people are complaining that they are experiencing pain when playing their game. How is this good for the game? sure these people have payed for it, but there are streamers that used to play DBD religiously are now playing other things. I'm seeing even fog whisperers not playing as often as they used to be. King made a recording playing the clown and within 14 seconds or so he ran into a BUG that blocked the clown from going through the bus. where is the QA? what happened? why was this not found? it's not hard to test the maps but that was not done, and funny thing is this map was not touched in the revamp so something ELSE happened and it was not tested well.

you are correct it is not right for people to play doctor on the forums but it is the right forum for those with issues to complain about them and give their reasons as it is the right forum for those without issues to congratulate the dev team. HOW EVER it is not the forum for anyone to tell me what is going on with my body nor discount my reports as I have not discounted yours because you don't think what I say is correct.

@MrPenguin I just realized it may seem like I am talking TO you, but I hope you realize (or that you understand here) that I am agreeing with your points and only expanding upon it and talking to the other people commenting here. I apologize if my thoughts did not make this clear as it is late. :)

I'm going to say this because I see this a lot in popular discussions.

There's no way a HUD rework does massive amounts of damage to your eyes to a point where you lose eye sight; "loss of eye sight" is so over-dramatic, seriously — that's ridiculous and doesn't add much to the discussion. I believe you just play the game too much and are just using the HUD rework as your scapegoat for the cause of your eye strain. Again, over reacting doesn't help nor is it constructive.

Being uncomfortable is fine, that would make more sense, but acting like your dying is unnecessary. You should consult a doctor if looking at a HUD does that much damage to your eyes. Playing video games for awhile should cause eye strain and some discomfort, but if a HUD is infinitely more worse than that for you, I believe you might have a health condition that was existing before the rework.

I think you are the one to talk to a doctor, continued EYE STRAIN can weaken the muscles around the eye and cause all sorts of issues, and YES it CAN lead to loss of sight OR (key word there) WORSENING of sight. It's not just the HUD itself that is the issue but it is the amount of movement you have to make with your eyes and when you see movement invariably your eyes will snap to that location as it is natural to do so. While playing with just the hud will not cause loss of eyesight immediately it can severly contribute to that if done continually.

If you'd like to speak to an eye doctor about the effects of prolonged eye strain please enjoy their description. oh btw you might not completely loose eyesight to prolonged eye strain but if you become medically blind and can not get glasses to cope it's the same thing.

And you say I play the game too much? just how much is too much then? is 3 hours one day after 4 days of not playing too much? is another hour or two the next day too much? and there was no pain, no issues what so ever and have not been since October 2018, 2 matches causing severe eye strain (talking 2 killer matches within 1 hour) and the only thing to change is the HUD what then is the cause of this sudden eye strain???? is there something you know that we don't know?

I will like to know your medical degree for your diagnosis of a health condition that was existing before this rework. You are trying to tell me that it is me and not the game. WOW thanks for your transferance since you know exactly what is going on please DOCTOR KNOW-IT-ALL TELL me the root and solution of my problem. oh yea you are making assumptions from evidence that is not present, you didn't even ASK has this been an issue before? no? ok when was the time before this that you played for more time than when this occured? is there a change? oh yea there is..... the mid-chapter patch applied a HUD that changed how one interacts with the game. Do not diagnose me over the internet, I know what is going on with my own body, I understand how things work and I listen to doctors and I don't wait for things to get so bad I can barely move to get seen by a doctor but you don't care at all, you only wish to defend those that have caused many people discomfort at minimum and out right PAIN and debilitating pain at that!

The point of the PTB isn't always to change things that people don't like. It's also for catching bugs and other miscellaneous things.

though that is the point of the ptb as you stated, it is not used that way. the twins were in a bad state they were told of all the bugs. guess what.... they released them with even more bugs than were found in the ptb. this midchapter patch, there were issues found and not addressed by the devs before release, and a almost 100% negative response from ptb users testing it out, even their fog whisperers said it wasn't all that good, and they didn't do anything about it. They said let's let the consoles chime in on this so they released it but what they didn't say is the backbone of the UI system no longer can support the old ui/hud and blamo it's here to stay... and I'm sidelined from playing the game. why you ask? because I am given headaches and large amounts of eye strain because of it. great I feel so valued that they decided to put something out that can't be reverted because they changed the things and now I am forced to see something I have sunk about 100 bucks or more into gather dust. GREAT way to make players feel valued.

For starters, you can tell what survivor each player is playing. To add on, you have a tally counter for each survivor and a total hook counter for the killer.

More of the screen is freed up as well, so all in all, it's not all bad. Not to say improvements can't be made, but it's not as bad as the community makes it to be. 😅

survivors are skins, if they had specific powers then that would be very important. I played killer 2 times yesterday and I had eye strain like I have not had in years. So bad I was sidelined the whole day really with a tension headache caused by the strain. this strain was not there the day before so what changed? the UI. that is what. So back to your assertion that it's good to tell what survivor is playing.... it does not matter, what does it tell you beyond what they might look like? the hook counter by each survivor's name? that is ONLY on the survivor HUD, the killer HUD does not have the hook counter by the specific survivor and it is inaccurate. what the killers have is a hook state counter, because it'll fill three in the minute someone dc's (or their remaining hook states), NOW here is the rub!!!!! killers need to know how many hooks each survivor have had just as much as the survivors do actually more so. the HUD for survivors gives them an advantage over the killer because now oh that person is on death hook (I know it's not hard to remember yourself but i've forgotten at times myself as survivor) so I'm not going to lift a finger to help them, I'll just keep doing this gen. So the killer is screwed more because now gets keep being worked when transporting the survivor to the hook instead of seeing people go for rescues because you were not sure they were on death hook... congratulations you now have more power than the killer ohhhhh... normally I can keep track of the hook states of others, I didn't need this update.

NOW I will say the HUD did need to be updated but not like this. a HUD is supposed to place things for you to quickly glance to see what is going on. This HUD does not do this. look at the HUD a fighter pilot has it's a QUICK look and shows the status of his own jet's armaments and a few other things and it's not all over a huge screen. Look at most MMO HUDS, you can glance to an area when you need it but don't have to keep moving around to see things for what you are doing, this one requires you to jump around the screen and it pulls you from what you are doing. previously you glanced to your left and down you still could easily see the walls and floor of where you are.

so 1) pain inducing HUD is not good, 2) information is TOO spread out and some even is ambiguous, and 3) very little of the change is streamer friendly at all.

so looking at what it should be: survivor and gen counter down bottom left and you can use that size it won't interfere at all (good thing if they would let the UI be modifiable or at minimum MOVABLE. survivor portraits are not done well and not needed, It is hard to see who the obsession is, and hard to know if you are or have inflicted a deep wounds hit (bt or legion) etc. It's hard to see when the killer is picking up the survivor or that they are being healed or being brought down off a hook. The gen counter at the top center is even worse, bring it back to the bottom left again as well don't need it top center. skill checks barely allow you to see where the great skill check is. the emblem in the center does not work. and the checks look tacky. The only good thing I can say is the scoring events are on the right side and can have more than 3 at a time... sure that's ok but it's not enough to get a "hey this can be good" out of it.

    Serious question.

Because as someone that plays killer a lot the new UI isn’t causing me any issues.

    Why?

As a killer my eyes already were darting around the entire screen all the time anyway looking for movement, scratch marks, and crow activity, especially out of a chase.

Like... to me this is something every killer should already be doing. So what’s also moving your eyes around to new HUD placements?

So I have to ask, seriously, are those experiencing problems players that never play killer?

I play both but I could not play more than 2 games as killer. I don't have to jerk my eyes around in how i look at the screen on the same 32 inch monitor i've used for years now. Literally the issue is this: to see status of survivors glance left, have to chcek the center screen, look around, then glance up for gens..... meanwhile the movement on the irght side with the scoring events pulls me so instead of one place for most of the information i'm being dragged away from what i'm actually doing and it hurt

First off, who over does your map design and art work needs to be commended. The new environments and tiles look really cool and pristine. I definitely feel like I am immersed in the actual environment. I can imagine a lot of work went into these different pieces and it shows. I am excited to see what you do in redesigning the other maps.

Second, I do really like the new changes to the Killers and Survivors. I think they make sense for the most part and will help improve game play.

Third, I am extremely grateful that you added a hook counter next to each character. I think this will help both sides a lot. Killers will know who they can take out of the game fast or who they need to hook for barbecue and chili stacks. It will also show them who not to hook for Devour or Pig Traps. Likewise, survivors will know who they need to start protecting more and what their status in the game truly is. In all a really good change.

Fourth, linking the portrait of the player to the number of downs they receive also utilizes the logic from point three. It is a good change.

Now there are some things that I am not a fan off.

First thing is the HUD. I am going to focus on the key aspect though that truly affects both sides. The changing of how the HUD is implemented is my huge concern. I am not sure if it is indeed, but it is actually harder to know certain aspects of the game we are used to. For instance, I can no longer really judge how long a survivor has on the hook until they reach struggle mode. The odd coloring and size of the bar is not good indicator of how long you have left. This could severely damage a survivors ability to determine when the need to go for a save which could lead to the death of their team. It can also hurt the killer who utilizes that to determine whether someone might be going back for a hook save due to dwindling time.

Second thing with the HUD is the lack of ability to know if someone is being picked up/slash healed. Both survivors and killers utilize this to know what plays to do at a certain time. Previously the bar was highlighted when an action was being performed on a downed survivor. Now there is no way of knowing what is going on with them. It does affect both sides as they go through the course of the game.

Third thing with the HUD. There are times on certain maps and in certain settings when the map melds with the bar for counting hooks and the timer bar. This could confuse people and cause them to not know what to do in certain situations. I would look into that to ensure that it can be fixed.

I feel like all of these things could be fixed if you went back to the original HUD setting with only adding the hook counter next to each character. If that is not a route you want to go, I would suggest addressing the points above so you make it obvious and visible to ensure everyone knows the state of the game. It will affect both sides equally.

Another thing that can affect game play is the music survivors hear when on hooks. The normal music starts and then suddenly stops and puts in new music and then switches back. This is quite jarring and I actually let go of the hook my first time playing because I thought it meant I had already died. Can it just go back to the regular music? If not, can you at least make it one continuous music set so it doesn't cut in and out.

Some random things that are weird, but don't affect overall game play.

The running is kind of odd looking.

When I get downed and also hooked, the camera pans down and it is quite odd looking like a bug. Is this supposed to happen, and if so, can it not?

I don't mind the other parts of the new HUD. It will take getting used too, but not horrible.

I liked your post, but the killer gets around set of hooks, that are not all that accurate to tell which survivor is hooked and how many times. The devs seperated this intentionally to give survivors more information without working for it. I feel though you hit it spot on. thank you.

  • this is a known bug and has been acknowledged

Do you really want the old one, or would you rather have something that surpassed both the old and current ones?

making the new hud cost money and resources what are they going to do? go to the higher ups and say "so yeah the hud we made didn't go down well so we reverted it. we will be keeping the paychecks through thx"

what do you think they did with the aura changes they put in before? they just reverted it after so many people said it's not what they said.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

    Stop being afraid of change!

    Fine.

How about they revert ALL changes and updates! We’ll go back to just Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Dwight, Claudette, Jake, Meg, MacMillan, Coldwind, and Azarov.

    Happy?!

so we can't let them know it causes PHYSICAL discomfort and pain that could after long periods of exposure cause eye issues, including loss of sight or worsening of sight? i'm sorry you think that they should not hear that.

ouch two weeks of no one doing the tomes. lol

So i wanted to create a discussion about this new patch, i have been playing DBD for about a year, S R4 and K R1 and as a developer i can't stop thinking this game is just dying on console and being crossplatformed into mobile.

On this patch i detected the following subjects and i would like the community ( players, testers, mods ) to share their opinion.

    • The New HUD, its awesome we can see the face of the players, easier to know who is who
    • Map colors - with each patch the game looks less scary, more vivid and kind like a mobile game ( even the current HUD looks like it was just ported from mobile to ps4
    • Hit system - yeah, it sucks, i did not play again every killer but this was poorly developed and also poorly tested
    • Bug - killer being teleported?
    • Movement animation - i just ask myself, who in his/her right mind would say, yeah this animation looks better than the current one, there are so many things that can be improved and you decided to waste your time in developing ( mostly integrating the animation i guess ) something awful.

Obviously, this is only my opinion, but if you give yours we might get their attention and things will be solved.

    Cheers!

I honestly think they made the ui for the switch!

  • @Awrhy said:

i escaped, solo did 1.5 gens, got chased by the killer for 4+ mins, depipped. Nice!

MMR is not back in the game again, not yet!

  • @puncher said:

I have played several games as survivor with the new patch, and my experience so far is that the new animations have made me more hittable. I'm not sure if this change was intended. I'll try to adapt. This is just my early assessment. Also, with this new update, the survivors have lost their personality, their charm. The game is still fun, but the survivors feel like robots now.

the "360" was an issue of latency and how the game worked. it's finally being removed and that's good thus people can't exploit what wasn't designed.

  • I played two games as killer and i'm still trying to recover from the eye strain!

  • it's in the rift that people are going to ruin their eyesight because of having to force playing with the new ui.

  • @Blueberry said:

The UI doesn't meet the parameters of what I good UI is supposed to do. It's supposed to be congregated in the same location to be able to easily and quickly gather the information.

Old UI all you needed was a quick glance down to gather all your info.

New UI in order to get the same info you are having to look in 4 places...it's a mess. You're having to look all over the screen just for basic info.

I'm with you on that 100%. i've played two games and i'm done for the day, the eye strain is real.

UPDATE: Had a dc (survivor) and the hook state ui said I got 3 hooks, and at the end it said I had 12. but i got a bronze in devout and had only 20 hook states (what ever the 20 means). the eye strain got to me and i had to shut down after TWO, count them TWO matches. I will never complete a tome with 2 games a day and if i strain my eye sight what am I supposed to do? send behavior the bill for new glasses?

Depends which values getting based on. Those are the details they will never share i guess.

This time i was wondering, how player MMR is getting calculated in the case when there is no pre-collected data about their gameplay, like

    • They are new to the game
    • Used to play, took a brake and coming back when the systeim is online.

actually no because they did say it is based on your win/loss against or with a certain killer. and the current match making is making people with skill die to killers with less skill and vice versa. last time it happened it was pairing people with less than 2 hours in game with people having 2500+ hours (2 hours or less was killer)

Well according to them it was "necessary in order to make the player names readable across all platforms and resolutions as well as make room for new HUD elements like the Hook Count."

I REALLY want to know what platforms or resolutions they're trying to accomodate for because having stuff all over the screen is the exact opposite of what you want for a console experience on a big TV. Jesus Christ BHVR...

the switch platform with it's small screen is probably why they did this. i'm dreading playing the game because one match gave me eye strain on a 32 inch monitor just to know what gen or survivor was doing what.

  • @OniWantsUrLocation said:

They simply have their own plans. In a few weeks, everyone will have gotten used to the changes and will no longer talk about them.

I know I will play the game even less with the new UI, it caused me considerable EYE strain on a 32 inch monitor, and I doubt I am alone in this. The UI change looks like it was done to make it better for switch players and F anyone else with a larger than a 10 inch diagonal screen. also the disparity of the hook information between survivor and killer makes it even worse. surivors will see someone that is on death hook down and since they can't save, they won't get off the gen to go save like they used to. killers don't get that bit of information and their counter well makes no sense, I don't need a ring counter telling me i've hooked 2 people but what would be useful is oh this one is on death hook, i might want place them some where but the hook i am right next to.

Is it possible to tell when did you start capturing the necessary data?

they are saying it has been on since before the first time it was "RELEASED" and hasn't been turned off. make of that what you will but since they don't say what it takes into account I honestly have no faith it will work as intended.

Constructive and harsh criticism does not equal slanderous comments. If you (the developers of this game) cannot handle constructive criticism and label it as harmful ranting, then there is a clear problem within your team. If someone is just going out of their way to be hurtful, then yes, you can silence them, but if someone is giving direct feedback to your game, it is not slanderous. Respect between the community and team is earned, not handed out.

constructive critisim is not "You made a ######### game" it would be "your game is bad, but if you change a,b,c and d it might get better" if you sure it's not slander/libel to say "you made a ######### game" as this is only an opinion, but if you start saying things that were never promised, and that the devs broke these promises..... you could be delving into slander/libel. look up the definitions, they have always accepted feedback and over looked people that decided to be vulgar.

I have not always supported all changes by the devs, but I do my best to say hey, here is what i don't like, and some ideas on how to potentially bring things back into good graces. and even when i'm being torn down by people on here i don't resort to true name calling, i might say something that was said was idiotic or that someone's actions were idiotic. but you will find there is a fine line I do not cross. you are attacking them for some action you disagree with. fact is here on their forums they have complete control, and can delete comments or ban people at will.

I saw in the developer note that they were working on MMR and Rank rewards. So is that going to be today or another time?

there is no SET date, but has been hints that sites like Realm Beyond has decided to apply to the update. the devs did not say that it would or would not be in the patch today. today is the mid chapter patch where they've been pushing things and not said much about MMR and my theory like last time is that there is no MMR and they will turn match making off making it a free for all. supposedly it's been watching in the background while a flawed match making system was in place so all the data it gets will be from that system, not accurate at all. they also said they would explain more on what the MMR looks at but have yet to do so. I don't know if it will happen today or in the future.

And they've already mentioned MORE MORI CHANGES with still no eta on the first key changes. (They did say with the more mori changes there will be more key changes but just the fact that they mentioned the mori changes is disgusting)

their announcement that they are considering more changes to the mori tells me the following:

    1) they wanted to try and retain survivors from leaving at the expense of killers leaving so they acted on a mori change quickly and without much actual thought hoping not so many would leave. they were wrong.

    2) they want to placate people by saying that the change they did will be altered to be better all the while keeping people thinking they will "FIX" keys.

or 3) they never intend on changing keys but continually dangling this as a carrot and forget about keys later.

This is the impression I get when I look at the second mori change since the game started and their track record since.

    in Hatch Comment by Freki
  • well if you don't let them know about problems then how can you expect them to fix it? wow i'm sorry for assuming (my mistake) you actually wanted to help fix the game and assuming that you did what it takes.

  • @kyogul said:

Doing this in a SWF is easy as you can say how many totems have been done. On top of that, in the case of some hex perks like NO ED, you can 99% some gens or delay completing all gens until all totems are done to prevent it.

It's a different story in solo queue. You can't prevent anyone from doing generators no matter how much you try. Even if you are relatively familiar with totem spawns and are actively wanting to look for totems, you have no way of knowing how many are done by other survivors without individually checking where each totem is, wasting your time and pretty much not doing any objectives, particularly generators. Also, multiple maps have dreadful totem spawns that are difficult to find, particularly Swamp. On top of that, you still have many totem spots that cannot even be cleansed and they're glitched.

Even with Small Game and a map with add ons, you still have to roam around the map wasting so much unnecessary time that you might as well have done generators, so perks in particular don't help out that much in many scenarios. Detective's Hunch is awesome but not consistent unless the team gets generators done, and it's still a ######### situation to have to bring a perk dedicated to totems because of what I just said. It's like telling a killer player who doesn't like DS to play The Executioner if they don't like DS so much and to get over it. Or saying "just wait 60 seconds 🤪."

It's analogous to if there was a survivor perk that gave 25% bonus repair speed as long as there were breakable walls up and simply telling the killer "jUSt BreAk wAlls." For all you know they could have prove thyself and a good toolbox they found out of a chest. I don't understand how people don't get this.

Any time wasted not pressuring survivors is giving them free pressure on you, and the inverse is true as well: wasting time running around the map for several minutes doing totems is giving the killer free pressure.

It's just ######### advice that lacks any context. You're giving the killer free pressure for a perk they may or may not have, and in some cases it's not even worth trying to cleanse totems because of how the game is going. So when people complain about no ed and hex perks in general and just respond with a snarky response of "JuST dO tOtemS", it strikes me as actually not understanding the nuances of what they're talking about.

"Do bones" is not for one person but all 4 survivors to do. that is the fallacy you and others have. the TEAM needs to do bones and it's quick. hey ran past a totem, take 12 seconds to drop it and then you're on the gen right next to it. 4 people do this only one other totem needs be done and it'll be fine. what you see as lazy is actually lazy mental processing of what is needed because the term "Just Do Bones" is directed at the 4 person survivor team not you....

first of all, if you "leave because the game is flooded with cheatera" you deserve it, 100% and because people like you abused this making it neigh impossible to get a good game because you didn't like how the killer played, or what map the killer played or you think they used cheats without proof made it so that those who have internet issues have to deal with the penalties. so I have no sympathy for you or anyone like you because you caused the issue that predicated the disconect penalties. BTW you did not pay for the game, you paid for the ability to play it. if you were to do anything against your platform's ToS or DBD's rules and ToS, they have the right to remove your ability to play the game temporarily OR permanently without refund. you agreed to your platform's ToS when you agreed to their terms to play anything and operate the console, and when you start dbd on first install, you end up agreeing to dbd's. now do you wish to say more?

I'm just tired of getting hit with DC bans for the game crashing. It's given me an upwards of 20 minutes when the crashing at the start of the trial was a lot more frequent. I can't tell you how many items and offerings I've lost because of it.

then investigate as to why the game is crashing. it doesn't crash on me very often at all. I don't know your platform but there are things you can do to verify your files, check your internet stability and make it not crash. just because it crashes doesn't mean that it was the program's fault,it could be your console or pc that isn't doing things right.

There are over 50 threads about this in the bug reporting section dating back to at least November. There was no reason this shouldn't have been fixed in the PTB.

Likely their plan was to fix it when they rework the entire realm but in my view that's unfair to people trying to enjoy the game right now.

lol i was not commenting about that it wasn't that way you might notice the "SOMETIME" in my comment i was being a tiny bit sarcastic there hehe

DC penalty still a trash idea. It completely benefits the killers. They are allowed to religiously camp, tunnel to death straight from the hook and with no consequence. Survivors don't want to be in a match with a toxic killer who that is the only way they know how to win within minutes of a match starting. Disconnects are not nearly often so its stupid to have this. It seems we are appeasing toxic killers who rank up based on this game play. Who wants to play against this? Definitely ain't fun. 48 hours? Like I'm gonna count the minutes down to wait for your precious ban to be done. You will do nothing to change these games styles but will keep penalties going. Its beyond ridiculous and its a main point why I have been looking to another games for months now. Seems this game is swf and killer sided which is pretty pathetic. I'm no longer spending money on dlc (I spend on every character and have all characters unlocked) I'm spending less time on this game. I have been reading so many conversations and clearly these problems have been here for years and money making is the more precedent motive. This game sucks. Rank matching is still complete garbage. I can go from facing 1-3 red ranks to an entire lobby of brown ranks within matches. 🖕

well shall we rehash this too? sure i'm glad to do so. The DC penalty is not a trash idea, people who don't like the posibility of playing someone that chooses a LEGAL (by game rules) strat then stop playing. don't threaten to not buy dlc, DO IT... here is the rub, you continue to play though and through the play they get the idea you are willing to buy something and to them each dlc 7 bucks is nothing every 3 months from one person that's 28 bucks a year from said player. but they see 100 people do that, it's 2800 bucks a year, plus perhaps even more when you factor in the ones that won't buy skins either. NOW another issue is while you keep playing you tell them you're willing to tell your friends you are playing (look at your steam profile info/ps user info etc...) and that gets them new players or returning players... best option here is to quit playing for a year, tell your friends to quit playing for a year and find something else to play . THIS is where it hurts the free advertisements and endorsements. btw one disconnect in a day is going to get you about 10 minutes (if you hadn't gone over 24 hours) the 48 hour penalty says you've got other issues. you may want to really look at when you disconnect and what is causing that, if you do dc intentionally enough to get a 2 day penalty i'm thinking you are not happy and probably should find something new to play. I get camped, I get tunneled, I get mori'd. I never dc unless i can't fix the error that affects me. I have had one unitentional dc in the last month, and that was because of my isp dropping me for 24 hours due to a tech making a bad call.

people like you don't understand how companies like this think, you think that you declaring you won't buy a dlc till this is fixed works? i've said since the twins came out in a horrendous state i wouldn't do anything but rift purchases if i get it all back since they gave me 1K cells a while back (and others). I don't expect them to go oh no! another won't buy from us. I still haven't done anything and I'm not sure I ever will time will tell. but i also rarely play the game much anymore so there is that. I also laugh off campers and tunnelers you obviously can't this is why i suggest finding a better way to play or move on. your psychological health is at steak as is probably your blood pressure.

Ds and ooo Nerf sucks i know but 3-4 man swf won´t even be affect as much as solo survivor.

Playing solo or 2 man swf is more dependent on luck, latency, hitbox, dc and bad teammates, now they give other players even an excuse to not do anything useful, i can see easily survivor not doing gens or anything with an excuse now beacuse otherwise they ds will be deactivated (cry).

Every Change they do makes playing solo more and more a living hell.

Everyone knows that a complete SWF group is a major reason what is making this game unbalanced, so why are they making it worse for everyone else.

Everyone complains that this game is so full of SWF survivors and some of them even toxic, but what do you expect?

This game is getting more and more of a game which you can only play as a team and still everyone gets off on every nerf even if it is justified like ds.

You know that will happen? The person who has Ds will not do anything to keep ds or just dont care and the other 3 will Constantly doing gens. Give 1 person Detectives hunch and bye bye noed. There is easily no other objective left and everyone will be unsatisfied again.

That´s why there are mostly noobs and Storng Swf groups, you all can applause yourself good job

Thanks for making this game unplayable for solo player. I´m out.

I play solo and duo with out OOO and DS.... guess what doesn't hurt my chances of surviving or worsen them either. plus DS is NOT A NERF unless you are one of the weaponizing DS users that are toxic about it. then yea it is a nerf because now you can't be toxic!

but you are aware that the mori change was just a change of some variable because the condition already exists, while the key change might just need something else? If you want to have a x second opening animation, that animation doesnt compile itself in your program code. IF you want something else, it might need some testing before it breaks something, unlike changing moris from 1 2. hookstate to 3rd hookstate.

So it only sounds biased towards survivors if you have no clue at all and don´t list when the devs answer this very question.

Also, the mori changed the game dynamic from -at best- undecided to winning, sometimes from losing to winning.

A key usualy doesnt change the outcome, because a 3k is a win just like a 4k would be. If more than 1 survivor escapes, then it wasn´t an easy escape, because the gens neede to be done just the same if 4 want to escape. Survivors with a key are just not screwed over my that random teammate dcing or hook suiciding after being tunneled and camped.

so you know they could easily have changed keys by changing one variable. the hatch stays open for x time variable, change it so that it is a 0 and then it's just as simple as a mori change and it makes it so that 2, 3, or 4 people can't get out without doing some of the objectives and then say they won because they escaped. could make the keys only work during EGC, they could have made the keys only work after gens were done. but no have to let the survivors do things.

look at what a mori does: lets the killer decide to loose blood points and emblem progress in favor of killing them in a different way. This takes longer than hooking the survivor AND it also lets the other survivors do things unimpeded during that time. This is a n offering that gives nothing more than this.

lets look at what a key does: first of all all keys, including a broken key lets survivors see other survivors or the killer within a certain radius, it lets the survivor see the obsession without issue of range or charge. These are done by add ons and these can also include extra distance or extra charge time to use. Now there are two more add ons to talk about, one keeps the key if you are killed in the match so it can be used again, and the other keeps the key if it is used in the hatch so it can be used later. the mori does not have this ability what so ever. Now it also allows opening the hatch if it is closed as long as it is not a broken key. then that hatch stays open for a time and closes if there are more than one remaining survivor as well as if only one it stays open.

So now set the way back machine to when mori's worked without hook states. well, you see when they changed moris back then they said they were going to rework keys. this never happened but moris now sported the requirement of the first hook state to have been done. now this happens and again radio silence (till the last dev stream) about keys but still only vague promises about the key re-work but yet mori's now were changed to require the second hook state to have been achieved.

People said well keys have to be able to let everyone escape because of the achievement. well there is an achievement that is done with mori's that is neigh impossbile now unless you are more experienced and going up against people that don't know the game well. yet keys can be used just as they always have. well you can still get the achievement for keys to get everyone out by bringing in 4 keys and the hatch closes behind every one. so one variable can be changed and still get the achievement. argument destroyed.

now the last dev stream they out right said they were looking at the changes they did to the mori while they also said they were still looking at how to change keys with no time line to prevent people from just using the keys now, yet the people are using keys more often now.

I only read the first sentence, because I dont think that the rest really matters, so I keep it short:

They said from the beginning both changes will not happen in the same patch.

They said in the recent Q&A that they dont compare Keys and Moris.

^ whatever the community makes of those two statements is not what the Devs said.

So completely irrelevant what people "accepted", when the Devs clearly said that it will not happen during the same time. And if you complain about something (even stating false infos that the Devs said otherwise), because you want to "accept" something what the Devs did not say, that is up to you.

I only read the first sentence of your post as i don't think the rest really matters. oh wait i had to read the next line because your first sentence shows only your arrogance and idiocy to not understand the arguments presented. let me make it clear: releasing the mori change without the key change when both sides are talking about both makes them appear biased towards one side or the other. if you don't get that then you will never get it. • then survivors need to stop body blocking the killer from getting hooks, in order to get their comrades off the shoulder of the killer.

oh wait that's what a survivor is supposed to do is it not? help their other survivors get out yes? so why can killers not do something to get out? why is it unfair for killers to do their role in this game yet fair for survivors to do their role in this game? that's the mentality of entitlement. "I am a survivor, I must be allowed to get in the hatch when I am the last survivor!" NO this isn't a game based on surviving by daylight! being fair has nothing to do with giving you, the survivor, anything. Yet that's what you are telling people they should do....

There was no promise to change Keys at the same time as Moris. They even said that a change to Moris and Keys will not happen in the same patch.

    So dont make up things.

when things happened and they said they were going to be changing BOTH, people accepted that they would do both at the same time because that would be a neutral way of doing things as moris and keys were talked about at the same time by both survivor and killer as two of the most unbalancing things in the game. then they talked about making meaningful changes and not just jump to a quick solution and IT was talked about that they were working on both and in the same breath as well and then suddenly killers lost moris though the change was what many said would be good, it isn't good with out a change to keys. they didn't use immagination to change it, they only took a quick and easy solution and put it out there. now a month or more after the mori change they have only ONCE mentioned that they were actually working on the key issue and looking at how to better change the mori issue but they weren't going to say when so that no one can use their keys up like people did with med kits.

Well they've been using keys and their hatch offerings in much more regularity since moris came out. and once they came out it was radio silence about keys till recently. so I ask this: why were moris just done with little thought and keys being worked on for a grand thing? why would they give the appearance of siding with one or the other side by doing one first and not the other at the same time. With all the other things they do to killers and barely talk or do about survivors people have seen a bias towards survivors and the mori change further increased it. this is why from a PR perspective it would have been better to address BOTH at the same time and made people that didn't say they were survivor sided start to think that. I am one of these who kept saying, yes they may seem it now, but before they seemed pro killer before 2018 but since it really has been a seemingly endless whittle away at the killer capability, making them have to be more and more effecient and get yelled at by survivors for that and they see survivors advancing so easily and having so many second chances and they could play almost any way they wanted.

see there is a lot that goes into this game I accept that but it is unistakable that they have lately been doing things that survivors benefit from much more than killers, even now the clown rework, they made his power affect survivors in a positive way yet nothing the survivors do for their benefit helps the killer. that is why they should have released the mori change at the same time as the key change.

IMO any time spent on this issue is better spent on other things.

I would even say, the time you spent to write this post was already too much for how rare this actually happens. So if the Devs need to spend more than 10 minutes to fix it, it is already not worth the time.

i have never said the devs HAVE to find a way to stop it, but if someone thinks of a good way and the devs like it then it is time well spent.

On top of the 5 minutes ban, depip and 0 bloodpoints of course

How can you be a team with people you have absolutely no communication with? You just rely on them to be alert. So it's not crap at all.

Again, how can a survivor come in and lead scratch marks away after a ds if there's no communication? The team won't even know you have it.

Being ds'ed, pallet stunned and then head on'd is toxic, but it's also punishment for tunnelling right? If the killer had gone for one of the other 3 people that exist in the game instead of the same person, it wouldn't happen. Even then, you only lose 9 seconds of a 10-15 minute game... 9 SECONDS.

I never said dc from a particular killer or map, I said dc when you're getting tunnelled and you're going to lose progress anyway because everyone else except you has the chance to earn points. The only reason dc penalty applies if you're being tunnelled is because it's all formatted in one to save people disconnecting because they don't want to face spirit, because their friends have come online, killer has ruin etc. These are all absolutely pointless dc's and THAT would be an extremely unfair advantage to survivors as it would ruin the killer's game. But when it's the other way round and killer is ruining a survivor's game it just has to be accepted. I don't mean it in the sense of downing and hooking a survivor because it's the killer's job to do so, I'm talking about tunnelling and camping.

There are toxic players both ends, but it's WAY more common to play a tunneller/camper than it is to face a 4 man swf team that can actually play well enough to obliterate you.

see here is where you have it wrong, i was in a match with 3 other solos, we were green to high purple (7 or 8 if memory serves) we faced a red ranked killer I think rank 3 or 4. and we beat him, he got a few hooks, but we worked together without communication and to the point that the killer asked in chat after if we were a swf.... all four of us said nope not at all (no one was friends with each other on steam as this was before the dbd friends list) and the killer was amazed. you know what you need to do but do not need to communicate. sure using a diversion when there is ds is VERY hard to coordinate i'll grant you that but there are other things... like hey a totem, I'll get that, and if the others do too those totems are gone in no time and gens still move fast. paying attention to where the killer is is also another thing to do, and the meta doens't let you do that.

it doesn't matter why you dc unless it is out of your control, if you use the out of match functionality you break the RULES of the game period end of statement. tunneling and camping are accepted strats and though not always viable are not against the rules. have I been tunneled to oblivion? yes... I one game got 2000 some odd point and I wasted an escape cake as well as two bloody party streamers for that match (i put the cake up and the killer and another put bps up. did I dc? nope I tried to get away but I just couldn't and it didn't help that i got left to second stage by my team. I didn't blame anyone for it teasingly chided my team for leaving me on hook lol but nothing bad. Again tunneling and camping is not toxic it's a strat that is allowed. that's the killer's choice to do that. meh i've been the lone survivor of a tunneling and camping killer I've also given the hatch to another as well in the same circumstances.

A killer will never de-pip if they play too well because they only need 1 sacrifice to safety pip

You are incorrect, one sacrifice and that's it will not safety pip the killer. the safety pip does not move within a rank section (yellow/green/purple etc) but it slowly moves to the right on the emblem gauge. i believe in red ranks you need about 10 emblem points maybe 9, to safety pip. each emblem is 0-4 points (none/bronze/silver/gold/iri) so if you get just 1 sac you are not safety pipping at all... even if you get 2 gold emblems plus the one sac that's only going to be 7 points of a needed 9 or 10. still that assumes a lot.

Stop trying to frame the situation presented by OP as something else. Someone intentionally de-ranking won't wait for at least 6 hooks to DC, they do it seconds into the game.

Also, this game is not a MOBA and, as much as I hate people suiciding on hooks or DCing, no one should be stuck in a match they don't want to play.

Finally, on a personal note, I do play killer/survivor and face my fair share of DCs. I don't "give a damn about a hatch escape" or pretend to know "how things actually work in the game", I know how they work for me. But if the other team took a major BP and PIP loss to cut the match short, then I made a good job at depriving them of hope.

    1) it doesn't matter if there are 0 hooks or 6, i've seen people dc and don't give a damn BECAUSE it deranks them.

    2) if the game applies what would be awarded for the loss of the survivor and properly awarded there wouldn't be an issue. "Hook suicides" I don't care about because the killer gets one hook, and three stagings just as if someone was left on first hook to be sac'd. I think the killer should have an option to give up, and by extension it should apply to survivors too, but right now if the killer gives up survivors get 20K bps collectively (5K each) and in the proper place. killers get 650 or 625 points applied in brutality and not sacrifice, as well as don't get the hook staging points plus atleast one hook (per person) that means they get 2500 for all 4 to dc in brutality. yet the survivors get 5K each if the killer drops? no this is not done well enough currently to expect that it should could just have a give up put in.

I agree with you about how to take a dc in game as a killer, and i too play both sides but i look to see how the game does things in order to understand how i get what I have. this is why I speak out on the forums even when it's an unpopular opinion but I also take into account as many sides to the argument as I can when I reply. What I talked about was an MMO, not a moba but the principle of leaving the instance is the same as leaving the match in dbd that's why I used the comparison and even talked about what they can do in the mean time as well, again it is a comparison as there is no direct corelation to dbd except with say fortnite, or COD etc but even that is different enough that making comparisons makes things not the best in comparisons.

Do you guys actually read posts?

I've mentioned anti-tunnel perks. If tunnelling wasn't an issue then they wouldn't exist.

The problem is, a 5 second stun is not enough to stop you getting chased down again instantly.

Also, I never said anything about gen rushing. Gen rushing isn't fair on killers. If a 4 man swf are all running prove thyself for example and barrelling out gens before you can even down the first survivor, this is extremely unfair.

I hear people complaining about competent swf teams on comms such as this moron mrpeanutbutter, because somehow co-ordinating on a game about co-ordination and teamwork means you're unable to play the game properly, (entitled killer view). The issue here though is people are more inclined to form an efficient swf with comms in the event of being tunnelled and needing protection hits or distractions, it's just idiots like peanutbutter that assume everything is always the survivors fault.

Tunnelling wasn't intended, and the game was not intended to be played like that. It's been said before by devs various times. It's a blatant lack of skill and taking the easy way out of an already easy game. The issue I have is that survivors subjected to this sort of play style have little to no options on countering it, unless they have an extremely powerful team who are all very good at the game. Just because tunnelling isn't bannable, it doesn't mean it was an intended playstyle, it just means there's no way around blocking it out in the game without people crying about it, so they introduce anti-tunnel perks which basically do nothing. Jesus, even borrowed time becomes an affliction to a survivor by putting them in to deep wounds, they then have to stop somewhere fairly close to the killer and mend before being able to heal with a highly annoying dimming screen that gets about half way and you can't see a thing. What does killer lose out on? 1 hit. Big whoop. They'll just wait the 2 second recovery time and tunnel the person anyway.

The only answers or responses people are giving is 'killer can play how they want' and 'survivors can't dictate rules' and other nonsense, which in theory is saying 'the only person that gets to choose how they play is killer and survivors have to adhere to these rules and get on with it'.

Tunnelling and facecamping is toxic as hell but that's ok, but when a survivor teabags or uses flashlights and ds, it's unacceptable! Oh no this is highly toxic and it shouldn't be allowed! Absolutely pathetic. Matchmakingworksfine literally just summarised general killer main thinking, because tunnelling and camping isn't bannable and is allowed it's ok, but for survivors to use things that are clearly incorporated in the game is unfair, flashlights are toxic, swf is toxic, perks included to try and balance things and give people a chance at surviving are toxic, keys are toxic as hell and killers absolutely hate these even though there's tough requirements to use it (all gens for 4 survivors, you're gonna lose anyway) and so on... but apparently nothing a killer does can be unfair or toxic because these shallow minded people just can't realise it.

Maybe it's just me then, I can play perfectly fine as killer without tunnelling. I'm not even amazing at killer but I do just fine. This to me just proves that people that tunnel throughout games are bad.

first of all you are a team. don't give me the crap about i'm solo surv i can't count on the others. that's because people made you feel that way. the game is supposed to have the killer work against 4 disparate survivors that team up to get away. if someone is on the shoulder of the killer the others should be working to help that survivor get away in some way shape or manner. instead of sticking around the hook run away or walk away and hide, heal up. the other survivor should be distracting the killer . does it always work? no but it's always I have to do 5 totems, it's not worth it, I can't count on the other survivors, I can't this or can't that.

want to know what else is not intended? having a killer get DS'd, the survivor stick around, pallet stun them and then stick around and locker stun the killer ALL in a row. It happens.... people think the only way to get away from the killer is to run in a straight line. honestly. while the killer is stunned, if you walk around a corner and someone else comes in and uses scratch marks to lead the killer away then well you escape! funny how that works. also the disconnect to "punish" a killer for picking something to play as, or map to play on. in final fantasy 14 an mmo, want to know what happens to someone that abandons a "duty" which in essence is a trial/raid/dungeon? they get a 30 minute penalty before they can even queue up again. sure they can do other things, but most likely they were doing dailies but they left, they get to wait 30 minutes before doing much more than single player content. hmmm dbd you disconnect from a match and you get a 5 minute penalty where you can only do single player content..... very generous. (disconnecting during party making is not penalized unless it is done many times in a short period yet here you can leave the lobby before it goes into the match without an issue no penalty). so yea.... lots of things weren't designed but disconnections were THOUGHT of originally and it was stated that disconnecting was a sportsmanlike penalty but there was no penalty assigned. so yea lots of things were unintended... like the original, you disconnect you get -4 pips! oh woe is me, i go away from where I don't want to be. people used it then it became -2 then it became -1 the same as loosing the match.... you keep trying to say everyone should have fun, well everyone can if they treated the game differently!

  • people that think that just because you paid for the game means that you won't run into people better than you, or does things you don't like on either side need to take a reality check and play a single player game!!!!!!!!!

    1) survivors are not entitled to escaping, killers are not entitled to a 4k EVERY GAME or even any game. you have to work for it around the features of the game.

    2) tunneling and camping are part of the game and not directly against the game rules (like disconnecting for either side)

    3) killers get perks that give them a better chance of killing, survivors get perks that give them a better chance of surviving.

    4) thinking you are entitled to even"FUN" in a game speaks to the character of those saying it, and you are not ENTITLED to anything, make the game fun and if you have a bad match or multiple bad matches so be it.

if you are tunneled, perhaps you are doing something that is causing the killer to want to do this (bring a key in? switch last minute?) perhaps you did nothing and the killer player just plays that way. it is a multiplayer game and you get all kinds of people. if you think there should be an innate running perk (survivor base kit) well killers should have an innate gen regression that stacks just like survivors have. every time someone comes up with something a survivor has someone else can come up with something a killer should have. eventually you get every perk available without using blood points and there is not much point to the game then.

  • sometimes that is not the right thing to do, depends on the players involved and their skill. usually you want something to cover most things, sloppy for heal time increasing, nurses because of that, ruin and corrupt to slow things down, undying to try and protect ruin (I know i put 5 out there but it's a choice really) it's never good to only cover one avenue of issues but forget about other parts of the game

I don't think, with their spaghetti code, they will ever "fix" that or even thinking about it.

give me the proof of the spaghetti code.. and don't give me that scott jund video because that has nothing but conjecture as to how the game is programmed. your proof needs to be with the code itself, or else you are just throwing out a term to make things sound worse. want to know something? I have had 1 crash in the last 9 months. and i looked at the coding and it was an issue with my windows making a bad call on bad information. started dbd back up and it ran fine for another 4 hours. the hatch/DC exploit is nothing to do about any type of bad code. it is actually showing that the code is working fine. The code says if there is one living survivor the hatch opens period end of statement and it shows that this worked just fine.

While it is annoying, there is not really a need to fix it. DCing for Hatch is very, very rare and the person DCing gives up all the BPs during that game AND get a penalty. If they were in an SWF, all of them will have to wait for the next game.

I think there are way more important things BHVR should focus on.

it isn't as rare as you think, but YES it has curtailed because of the time penalties. blood points are a dime a dozen, killers and survivors don't give a damn about one match of blood points if they dc. the penalties are what they care about as well as making the killer "PAY" for their inability to finish the game alive.

I will describe a situation where this happens, but obviously it does not concern me at all. It concerns a friend, and I advise against doing like this friend. (I am unfortunately obliged to say it this way to avoid any ban...)

Me and my friend have been playing together recently, and we are not using any communication. Think of it as soloQ.

When the situation is (too) difficult because of the snowball in this game, when the killer forces his 4k with the 3rd survivor slug, and when the two survivors manage to resist and bring the other out of the dying state regularly. After a while this friend is fed up, and he leaves. This friend has no idea if I'm next to the hatch, or if I know where it is. The situation is blocked, he unblocks it to put an end to this absurd game. He accepts his 5 minutes because it is not impossible that the game will continue like this for another 5 minutes. I understand this altruistic friend (but I totally disapprove of this action, of course!). And sometimes I get the hatch, sometimes not.

I accept that survivors have to shoulder all the misery in the world, but don't overdo it either. The killers also have their responsibility. And first of all: the game itself is problematic. These situations would probably not happen or less if the snowball were less strong, if the game was more balanced, since the survivors would die later and thus find themselves less stuck two against impossible goals and a killer making the game last for secure the 4k.

And as a reminder: when the survivors dominate, can exit at 3, but try to save a survivor in difficulty. They take risks, they can make the situation worse, and whatever the killer does is "strategic" when the survivors will be blamed for their altruism. Where is the equivalent, with the killer, in such situations?

so you will not dictate how survivors play but will dictate how killers are to play? well your acceptance of the DC as "OK" and "RIGHT" is accepting what I call an out of match exploit (yes you must leave the match functionality to get the screen and then click another button to do it) and should be punished harder than it is now. I how ever am not a dev for this game and must accept their decisions even though I disagree with their solution. and the fact you have to change what you say to avoid the ban makes it obvious you support disconnecting, and it's your right to thing and support anything you wish and your united states government will not take you into custody what so ever, but behavior on the other hand has no such restriction.

    @lagosta said:

I don't get why you call it an exploit? it's working as intended. Yes, it's scummy to end the match early when the other side is winning, but look at the aftermath:

    Pros:

1-The DC took -1 pip and lost all match BPs.

    2-The killer got quitter bonus.

    3-The killer got a 3k, still a win.

    Cons:

1-One survivor got 5k BP for escaping.

currently disconnecting has has the actual pros for the player:

    1) loss of a pip, deranks him and puts him against lower capable killers

    2) probably loss of pipping for the killer and that is a win.

    3) getting teammate to escape out the hatch and get 7500 blood points (don't forget the hatch escape points.

    cons:

    1) loss of all blood points (can be gotten back by another escape cake or bloody party streamer so not so bad)

    2) killer got 650 points which isn't even a hook plus hook state change. and it goes into the brutality points not the sacrifice points, and the devout emblem is not progressed.

    3) killer got a 2K, one disconnect does not equal 1K by the points and no hook state for the devout emblem.

    4) irritation for the killer when this happens.

you make it seem like a killer wouldn't give a damn about a hatch escape, but they do in many ways. your list is flawed because you don't look at it from how things actually work in the game. most killers say they consider a dc a kill just to placate their anger at the intentional dc.

But they are reworking them because they want to nerf them due to them being cried about. that is why the "rework" is just nerfing the character.

Are you telling me that nurse got changed because they just felt like it? her "rework" has flat out nerf written all over it all the way to her addons that are literal memes.

first of all survivors complained about those perks..... and they got nerfed. survivors were complaining about nurse but she needed her add on's looked at and the omega blink nurse was TOOO OP. so they did a small base power rework and she is still very top tier if not the top tier. this is a rework not a nerf, they removed one unintended issue with the add on re-work and there were add ons that had "buffs" as well so i wonder which is the most. lets talk freddy... he was REWORKED into a completely new character with new powers and such. this was not a BUFF it was a RE-WORK. then later survivors complained about FOREVER FREDDY and they NERFED that aspect of freddy in a specific target to buff or nerf. so NO NURSE was a add-on pass, not specifically to address anything outside of the add ons but they realized part of that would require a base power correction to fully address that which the add ons allowed the omega blink in order to NOT allow that aspect of the add ons to ever crop up again. yea you're just complaining when you aren't looking at the over all picture and if you look at the specifics the devs put out before and after the re-work (after giving people time to get used to the new stuff) is a change but not enough to dethrone her.

*Huntress iri head: No other addon results in so many disconnects or hook suicides.

lol i ran 5 matches this past week huntress iri head and 0 dc's. ran one with a trapper and a mori got 2 dc's.

hopefully the DS change is fake. To many toxic tunneling killers. Let us work on gens with DS and we have a deal with the nerf

if you have a toxic tunneling killer, you get 1 minute of chase where if they down you and pick you up you get to jab that glass shard into their neck, stun them for 5 seconds and now you can get away again. if you get a killer that doesn't tunnel you can choose to do nothing and hope the killer doesn't find you again or you can get on a gen while the killer is away from you since you aren't being tunneled. time for you to make a choice. no longer can you do a gen infront of me because you have ds. oh yea you're still getting locker tech! and you want to complain about that?????? this is a good change and people like you are the ones that the change hurts because you are the toxic one since you are the type to run at a killer because you have ds.

99 Expose is one of those issues things that should be fixed.

Everything survivors can 99 has been nerfed with the exception of the exit gates. And killers are still trying to get that nerfed. GF, Oni and Myers 99'ing things needs to be removed as well. 99 Sabo was a much smaller and extremely niche issue frankly but it still got nerfed.

survivors can 99% heal themselves to get benefit out of perks, survivors can 99% the chests and get the benefit of plunderer's, survivors can 99% the doors and benefit getting out of the match with no egc to worry about unless killer decides to open the door to force the EGC, you can 99% all 7 gens and then suddenly pop 5 gens almost at once. please tell me what else you'd like to 99%? currently the only killers that can 99% their powers are ghost face and myers. with myers it's tactical and a tiny bit less tactical with GF that he can 99% you! oh wait the mark you get from GF does decay over time. so all the killer can 99% is myers and he has a limited amount of SUCK available per survivor and at some point he gets no more tier 3.

what 99% do you want the killers to not get to do? lets make gens require constant interaction, if not touched for 3 seconds the gen goes from 99.9% to 0! chests need to be opened in one shot or like totems they go to 0. if you don't heal in 5 seconds after you stop healing you go back to 0...

would you like to rethink your position if not I'd love to see how you reacted to the survivors not being able to stop doing things or else their work is wasted. if you make it so myers can't stop stalking he would loose that amount of stalk from a survivor as it's been pulled from the survivor and it doesn't go back! oh if you want to make it so myers can't keep partial stalk, survivors can not break stalk by getting behind the walls or trees etc.

I was doing the Bubba challenge to sacrifice 25 claudettes and after I hooked her and she was being sacrificed by the entity (in her last hook) before the death icon shown up she DCed and I dont know if this counted as sacrifice or not.

there is no word on if this is true or not, @Almo might be able to answer this question. I haven't seen the numbers nor has that happened when the numbers mattered.

1 … 3 4 5 6 7 … 33
