Ok so did my post talk about random dcing because it seems that's what you were talking about.I dont dc on first down but facecamping is the limit for me a facecamper. My question is what you were talking about had nothing to do with what I said. Thats why im saying this. If someone randomly dcs I would be mad but I would understand you dcing if the killer was constantly tunneling you. I have seen survivor get tunneled and dc and its ok if they did.
yes I read your original post and I talked about how disconnecting after being on the hook gave the killer the points you tried to deny them and then some yet you won't acknowledge that. I know it's because you don't like to loose an argument but by doing what you're doing you reward them with more points. why not just take your attempts to get out and letting the game get rid of you from that match so you can do it again? oh wait you don't want to reward them so by giving up so quickly you reward the killer by letting them move on to the next survivor, why not wait the 2 minutes out and get your full struggle points, no dc penalty and you punished the killer because 1) they get emblem hits for being that close to you for that long, 2) they don't get chase points from the other survivors, and the gens get done faster. sounds like a better way to do it because how better to punish them than by not giving them points by keeping them at your hook!

Read the post maybe?
ohhh i didn't read the post.... i'm sooo sorry but thing is I LIED.. I did read the post and I replied to it all... you are the one not reading my reply and understanding where I am coming from. I can not force you to do so but I understand and sympathize where you are coming from but you are not even TRYING to understand or even see my point... what will you say next? have I ever played dbd? that would be a great question to ask.

Did you read my post at all? Read the post first maybe?
you want to dc for what ever reason, i offered to be the one in YOUR match to just dc for what ever reason and I doubt you'd like it. this post is also about camping. You get put on the hook and then DC, you ARE rewarding them from playing like this. I went over it. let me go into detail:
normal: 500 per hook, 200 for each stage of hook state and 200 for sacrifice. so that's first hook kill 1100 points for the killer.
dc after hook: 500 for the hook, 200 for first stage, (now dc happens) game stages you to 2nd stage resulting in 200 more points, then game stages you to sacrifice as you didn't struggle, another 200. also at the same time the killer get 600 points for the disconnect. so you just gave him 1700 points. how is this not a reward? lol math is your friend.
you asked me if I read your post, and you kept spewing the same nonsense i've heard for over a year about disconnects and they have already been refuted many times over. you talk about solo play, fine you are in a match and you get someone disconnecting for no reason, and i bet you complain to the nth degree about that person but you want to be able to dc and no one should even complain because you have the RIGHT to disconnect from any game you don't like. so I say this, by all means disconnect, do not complain to me (and this includes going to a forum and complaining about it where I can read it) about your penalties because you broke the rules of the game, and then just find a new game that you'll like better... bet you'll find something to not like about the game even then). You telling me I am not understanding your ideas that is wrong too, I understand them and have refuted them many times before, so yes I did read your post.

The thing your not understanding is that unless your playing a swf it doesn't matter why should I help everyone else when I just keep running into the same camper everyone defends it like another survivor is going to help you. All that happens is that you go down a rank. I'm not gonna sit by and reward toxic gameplay if your gonna tunnel me then ill disconnect even the mods defend it meaning that as a survivor you go through an already ######### experience for teammates that probably dont even gaf. What benefits do you get from staying a rank down and barely any points at all because survivors have to do flips and tumbles to even get a good amount of points. No amounts of sorrys are gonna fix that and its a shame that people even resort to that the only pints they really get are disconnect points and its not a big amount so its a win for them then either way survivors don't have the upper hand tbh. A facecamp just makes it obvious its time to leave,
fine... lets get into a match where you stick it out and I dc for no reason. how would you like it? how would the other people like it? wow... you are entitled aren't you? thinking that your enjoyment is more important than others.. why not go play a single player game where you won't have to worry about what others think and you can disconnect anytime you get mad at the game for not letting you win! oh yea great person you are. No one defends it what so ever, they just say it's not a legit reason to leave a match, everyone talking about it says it SUCKS when it is you. but if you do that you reward the killer because for 2 minutes you could keep the killer there, then as you leave you might see 2 more gens complete and a totem or two cleansed. and the team left could easily get out because they have 1-2 gens remaining and the killer might get one more kill. because he'd then be camping that person too. It is not an "ILLEGAL" strat as it is specifically not denied by the rules. Originally camping was even worse because you could ONLY unhook from the FRONT! this is where camping really killed the game, and there was no hatch what so ever.
so do you like it when someone just leaves you to do 5 gens with 3 people? doubt it!

@Friendly117 said:
It is literally the most healthiest way to leave when you aren't having a good time with the game.
I don't think the devs for this game are aware/or see that and probably nor does 50% or 80% of the players that play this game.
"If the game is not fun, then why bother?" Such common sense!
sure, if it's not fun just leave, and don't come back. why? because you are selfish and only care about your own game experience.
this is what happens when one survivor stops playing and disconnects:
3 remaining survivors now have to carry the weight of 4.
1 killer can't get points from the disconnected player any more and some times that means they loose rank because of the actions of 1 person even when they kill the other three.
3 survivors can not get the unhooks for their own scoring and thus they may loose rank despite escaping the killer many times and getting out of the game.
As killer a disconnect penalty pity score is categorized in the emblem that contains brutality, not the sacrifice.
as survivor it has a similar issue.
So in order to get people to stop complaining about the disconnects you will have to be given the remainder of any points and emblem progress that player could give you. so for killer that means awarding them lots of chaser and extra hooks they didn't get. and also the same for survivor. this is not going to go over well because now people would then say that killers are being awarded X for toxic play. I'm sorry you don't like it when a killer facecamps someone but you do know that when they do it's open season on the totems and gens! get them down while the killer isn't moving. tunnels? same thing! anyways you're going to say none of this matters but it DOES matter.
@Heartbound said:
The game started taking itself a lot more seriously. When it was peer to peer you could load into a game with less than 4 survivors and it would just auto complete a gen. (If 3 survivors loaded in, you'd only need to repair 4 gens etc.)
You could load in alone and only need to repair 2 gens. No end game collapse. Killer couldn't close the hatch. Killer may also have whispers. Top notch fun!
the issue with only one gen removed instead of 4 players (when only 3 survivors are loaded in) the 20% of goals removed for the remaining players does not equate to the potential 25-33% of the survivor power leaving the match. Even with this, killers couldn't rank up and often ranked down, same with survivors. and both sides complained about it.

well the statements your saying still dont make sense dcing is faster than 20 seconds so what i'm saying is valid no reason to give extra pints to a tunneler or facecamper. It's not selfish because your gonna die anyway might as well not waste your time or anyone else's and not let a killer get the points for sacrificing you instead they get the dcing points. From the way your talking sounds like you practice camping but thats okay not everyone has to go through the frustrating experience of having to watch that infront of their face. -Be better
first of all read my response a the top of this post. second you actually DO give the camper extra points because they get a disconnect pity point award. If you are on the hook when you do, they also get 200 points for the stage to 2nd and then another 200 points for the sacrifice since you're not there to hit space bar. You also get 0 points and a -1 pip (the latter isn't a penalty) 0 points is so minor of a penalty it's not even good. you said "GET GOOD/BETTER"??? well if you disconnect that means you can't play it. if you're on hook already your dc gives the killer points! and the survivors too. and you become a laughing stock. if you don't like a map, then you best play a map offering to avoid it. if you don't like a certain killer, go afk, let the killer hook you and get out that way, you keep your points, still get -1 pip, and no disconnect penalty.

lets go over what the game had over the years:
insta repair with brand new parts
Old toolboxes
Old self care
insta heals
old borrow time
real infinites
exhaust recover while running
Old basespeed coop gens
old leader
old provethyself.
My ass devs are survivor biased
patch after patch devs would balance the game out nerfing survivors in and out, DS rework, BT only works now on the unhooked person, insta heal but with long timer, purple insta turned into a borrow with a timer, infinites removed, exhaust only recover while walking, self care nerfed to the ground, ruin got reworked so toolboxes got also nerfed to the ground. This game is being balanced around both sides and if you think the devs are still survivor biased then you are delusional. Both roles will receive nerfs, reworks and buffs the devs are not siding with anyone
some of what you are saying is true, and if you go back to the begining there were nerfs to all (I don't know them all but i know some). DS as it stands now is a buff from what it was right before. now anyone can have it and a person that isn't even running obsession perks can be the obsession. this is a full on buff to DS. BT sure it's only on unhooks in TR but you didn't need it anywhere else. exhaustion only recovers from walking issues? go run a marathon and keep at the marathon pace once you are exhausted and tell me if you can keep RUNNING and recover from that exhaustion! Ruin is now in line with the description of the perk where it is an insidious decay within the gen (regression) Killers have gotten several RECENT nerfs and unneeded buffs that don't amount to much of anything. and YES ruin change is a nerf. if they pull blood lust it will be a nerf. gen speed is still a very heavy influence of the game and that with ruin's never has caused more issues than you'd think. both sides have been nerfed so I am NOT saying that they are killer or survivor sided but currently the trend is killers get more nerfs than survivors so it looks like the devs are survivor sided.

Matchmaking is "off" because the survivor queues are flooded. Flooded queues have a very noticeable effect of the kinds of survivors that you play against because the matchmaking can't find a group so it expands what range is acceptable and you get odd behavior like a group of red ranks going verses a green rank where usually match making wouldn't be so harsh.
match making is NOT off. it is how it has been historically. if it takes a while to find a match the system widens the search for the match so you see larger +/- range
this is pure conspiracy theory and honestly is not backed up by anything. when someone claims NDA when asked for evidence 99.999% of the time there is none.

While your argument makes sense, bloodlust isn't usually used as intended. If a survivor is outplaying a killer at a fair pallet loop, bloodlust just makes it so that the survivor loses no matter what happens thanks to the free speed boost the killer gets. That being said, overly safe pallet loops should be lessened if this change goes through.
and DS, BT and a few other perks are not used as intended. when a player gets unhooked and jumps behind the healthy survivor so the killer downs them just to get the DS. this is called weaponizing DS. this example is one that can not be equated for by a fix. but if they get on a gen, totem, chest, locker (past the inner strength healing time) DS should deactivate and while DS is active BT should not be active (nor no-mither. (so you can't quickly be gotten up or get up yourself). once DS deactivates then bt and no mither reactivate and proceeds as follows.
But this is not about ds, bt or other perk but your comment brought up the idea of things not being used in the way they are intended. I agree there needs to be a change, but why institute a test BEFORE newly revamped maps come out? that is odd timing, you'd think they'd have scheduled this test in december to include those maps in the test and not the ones they are replacing.

I am asking because it seems like the results are very mixed from what I've been hearing from people now that Bloodlust is disabled. Maybe keeping tier 1 but removing 2 and 3 would be a better idea than removing the whole mechanic?
the results are not in what so ever. what you have seen is the vocal very much minority of people talking about it. i haven't seen over 30K-70K users weighing in on the forums and that's only the people on steam not the people on PS4 and Xbox being included in the numbers. there are ps4 and xbox users logging in here and weighing in but still not a huge number. they will reactivate blood lust on monday at 11am eastern without removing anything. they will go in and look at the data THEN to make more concrete ideas.
@Maj33y said:
Honestly I don't see a problem with Blood lust ... the thing is some PC players "Mostly" are modifying these game files to give themselves an upper hand right off the bat . (in short words Cheating) so after Cross-play this became more noticeable to the community and that's why this became an issue IMO .
I play both roles but survivor more than killer and as mentioned above it's an important mechanic that helps in strong loops for weak killers or as a reward to the player for keeping on the chase for so long . and I would rather them not remove it completely but perhaps removing a tier or two if they must or only doing some tweaks to it to make fair .
but my point is even with this mechanic fully removed that's even gonna entice more PC players to go on and edit or crack game files to give themselves a boost . I think that's where the problem relies actually because lately i've been seeing more players with Legendary skin so it's all suspicious and if it's something minor like a slight speed boost you can never tell .
it's a very few "SOME" pc players that will hack the code. and if the coding is able to be activated that way then it's on behavior. this is not what people were changing before.

Ok so not everyone has the same issues... Good for you... do you want a cookie for it (not getting one from me)
They want data so they can decide on a course of action
Most people when talking about a bug don't realize that it more than likely might be their setup or a small group but they expect and imply it's something that happens all over... "they have not addressed it" when they are working on it and can not address it properly till it is discovered and a fix determined. this is not the same as they have ignored it and let it go for ever. Hell there wasn't many people submitting information anywhere and they can't even try to act without that data. finally they posted a thread about it to get that information and I do not think that thread has been used by a huge number of people, though it has been used by some. do i want a cookie? sure! but not like you are talking about, I addressed the fact it was spoken about as if the bug has never been addressed, it just has not been found or solved.

Then it's not a system thing...
My guess would be a coding issue then
actually I don't get the frame drops so no, it is not a coding issue till that is researched by the devs. and i don't have the most powerful pc. ryzen 7 2700X and nvidia gtx 1060 6gb OC card... 32 gig of ram.

Its not survivor sided. Bloodlust was introduced as a way for killers to catch up back when infinite loops were a thing.
For those of yall who dont know there use to be loops that were so long that when the killer vaulted the window the survivor would just gain to much distance and would 100% always make it back to the window again before the killer could catch back up.
Now with all the infinites being taken out well almost all the main building on asylum is still pretty stupid strong but other than that all the infinites are gone.
You complaining that you cant bloodlust a survivor down means your just a bad killer.
A smart killer will instantly kick a strong pallet as soon as its thrown, or will try and mindgame a unsafe pallet. You save alot of time by just kicking it and moving on to the next pallet rather than just no skill holding w for 45 seconds till your fast enough for a free hit.
Bloodlust being disabled now just means you have to have better reaction time than the survivor when playing loops without a los (line of sight) blocker or you need to break the pallet.
Im rank 1 killer and survivor with 1400+ hrs and im glad its gone. I hope they permanently remove it.
So tired of playing killers who dont know how to loop efficiently and will just hold w till theres literally nothing you can do because the killer is just god speed mode.
news flash! they have reinstalled infinite loops! yes they are breakable by a silly breakable wall but if the person doesn't know those infinites they don't know if they should break the wall/door at all. thus can't say they are gone because they aren't. you being a rank 1 killer, means nothing to this test. we know you are more skilled than MOST that play this. i've got over 2500 hours in and I don't know where the infinite loops are to take them out. how is someone with less than 100 hours in gonna know this?

It's an experiment... as a test to see if BL is needed and also to test the reworked maps
To see if the devs have anything else to fix on maps
And to ease console players frustrations on lag spikes
then why would they not wait for the new maps they JUST reworked to come out? this was a poorly timed test and will give the devs erroneous data since they just revamped autohaven and ormond but those aren't in the game yet.

End came collapse. Insta heals no longer insta. Styptics no longer heal. Toolboxes destroyed. Survivors lose add ons now for no apparent reason. Yep. Everything just hurts killers and helps survivors, uwu.
survivors loose add-ons... now they are even with killers... they keep their main item if they escape. killers can't keep add-ons if they don't want to, this is an erroneous thing to use. toolboxes needed to be nerfed, gen times were under 20 seconds for 4 man gens, EVEN with Proove Thy Self changes/multiple people on a gen efficiency. EGC addressed survivors TAKING the game hostage that is not a nerf it's a punishment becuase the survivors wouldn't LEAVE even after all 4 doors were open. Insta heals.... those were op... though i think styptic agents were good in general. I've even insta healed someone who was about to be mori'd. whoops! so only nerf was instaheal syringe and styptic that you listed.
@Zagrid said:
I do believe the devs are survivor sided since more than half their player base is survivors.
But this is small compared to other things they have left unadressed for years. Like the bug making downed players make no sounds.
Probably their most insulting thing is that in 4 years of development they have not even talked about making a color blind mode.
I have NEVER had any issue with "silent" slugs. this is not as wide spread so people make it out to be. I would expect it is something to do with your sound card chip set and volume settings but they haven't gotten the data to give them a culprit for this erratic bug you speak of.
Color Blind Mode: I can understand the issue but that would not be just something that is addressed to color blind people because it'd move people who aren't into using that mode as it would remove some of the occlusion in the game that is necessary for immersion and play.

Or for every 5 seconds out of chase you lose a stack. So the bloodlust grows progressively weaker the longer you don’t pursue the person “angering” you. The idea is to tactically take advantage of being stunned in the same way the Enduring Spirit Fury combo works. You purposely take that hit when Spirit Fury is ready to land a decisive blow.
For Myers you usually don’t attack when you stare anyway. You would have to time your stares more carefully, and make sure to build Bloodlust for when you are ready to proc Evil Within III. Normally during EW III players will try to loop and pallet stun you anyway. Doing so would speed Myers up, and combined with PWYF that would make him (And other killers) insanely fast when pursuing the obsession. Meaning you don’t want to ever be the obsession in this case anymore. Nurse uses her power to get around so Bloodlust is nonexistent. Trapper doesn’t need much Bloodlust either since he makes you step on his traps. If you were to purposefully build speed by being stunned the speed boosts could pressure survivors to run into traps more often. The Hag typically uses her traps to teleport around so she’s good without it. Demo can warp. Oni goes berserk. Hillybilly is NASCAR. Huntress and DeathSlinger are ranged killers so there’s not much need.
Bloodlust already has very little use which is why it’s being tested. It would only be viable on killers that already suck at map pressure like Ghost Face (Exposed), Pig, Clown, and Myers (During Evil Within). While you’re chasing people around the gens are getting done. Speeding these killers up allows them to potentially end the chase quicker. Which allows them to check gens sooner. This is all theory though. 😆
thing is a CHASE is started when the survivor runs away from you, not when you move towards a survivor. so they can run by you, veer off, chase started then they get escaped, chase drops and you have to start all over again. that's what I'm talking about. and I've used myer's power in a chase to find someone that had just ducked away since it's pretty much across the map if you can see across the map! but it's true myers generally doesn't do much till atleast EW2.
I'm also not saying it shouldn't be changed, but it should be something a bit more of a killer side vice rely on if the survivors are around and go in to just photo bomb the killer to drop their movement. there is a great deal to work with and none of use have any real ideas of what to do though i will say there are some good ideas but there needs to be work to make it a good mechanic. and something the survivors aren't able to just bop in and then leave. there have been times I've been walking around and suddenly without knowing it i'm in a chase and then it's gone. I didn't even see a survivor!

Took a few weeks off from the game from the issues.
I'm talking about people DCIng right after the game loads, before anyone even does anything. They're just AFK when the game loads and then the DC kicks in, this is before the killer even spots anyone.
Friends and I queued tonight, and boom, the 4th person (not with us) is a DC immediately, before anything happens. Waited 5 mins in queue just for an instant DC.
there are many reasons for the initial DC and MOST are not intentional. there are network issues, computer issues and finally just plain overloaded connections (slightly different from network issues). then a distant 4th is an intentional disconnect. it's not often but most are usually crossplay and an issue between networks of microsoft and sony though there are a number of people on weak wireless that will occasionally drop themselves. I'm sorry you waited so long and got a dc like that. but here s the rub of that, you will find that last night's long wait is because of a drop of players playing killer.

No game lasts forever I just Hope Behaviour won't bail out on this game and take on the example of RockStar With GTA they're still releasing updates and free DLCs that the people now just want a new game already .
it'd suck but i see it going for a couple more years at least before it dies out
they'd have to have another title that would be pulling in money before they drop to that. and you are right, eventually every game drops off, but dbd is in a peculiar niche that is wierd there isn't much out there for it. but lets look at other multiplayer games... everquest started in 1999, still going strong, and new expansions being dropped. eq2/wow started in 2004 still going strong. WOW is still charging for access with only a free trial. FF14 2013 released, has a significant f2p aspect but still not fully f2p. swtor same as ff14. so even with multiple games in the same vein as dbd it might still live on for many years to come. we shall see.... but the worst part are the ones the companies put down like city of heroes.... was doing great financially but the studio responsible was undermined and shut down by their owner ncsoft.

Forums cleared my last post so I will keep it short.
It looks like you are comparing last week's Friday to this week's Thursday. In the screenshot you posted above, at the very right of the chart would be Friday (today at midnight) which definitely doesn't get close to 28K. If you use Friday for both weeks, you will get 35.5K (last week) vs 35.0K (this week), which basically shows there is no change week over week.
If you want to compare week to month (38K number to 35K number), you have to adjust for seasonality. To do that you would have to compare YoY. If you do a YoY comparison, playerbase has increased 1.5X.
It just seems like you are fishing for something that isn't there. Let's just enjoy the game, BL test or not and see how things play out.
where as I will admit i did misread the numbers, but you will see the chart is set to 48 hours, and i was looking at the right side of the chart (november 21st is actually saturday) I will admit I am seeing a different number than what I remember looking at so I will concede that point. and you say that looking at anything other than Year over Year tells you nothing. That is incorrect as if the trend that I originally was seeing i did say that it was at 35K and then later (where I made my mistake and you can see it in the post as I will not change it to make myself look better) is when i went to look at things on a week to week basis. when there is a change in something, these are indicators of what could happen and feed into predictions. It is true when you look YoY, you will see that currently the numbers are going up but a down turn at one point could be a signal. so it is something to work with and should never be disregarded.
Anyways I admit my second portion is incorrect. I will admit that mistake, but your point about the YoY is not what I was talking about, there you are taking data that was not including the information being discussed, so that is erronious though a generally correct statistic. this is why statistics are very hard to deal with because you can make it seem like anything if you look at the wrong section, *LIKE I ENDED UP DOING* the Year over Year statistic could not reflect a change due to this test until another year has passed. but looking at the numbers on the micro scale (1-7 days) and comparing the previous X day to the current X day is a valid comparision and shows you those potential trends the Year of Year does not.
Oh and my original mention of the over all last 30 day average of 38K to the at the time 35K was not a comparison beyond that this friday night we were below the average of the last 30 days, again it could be showing a potential trend and needs to be looked at even if it doesn't determine that action is not warranted. If a company waited for the Year over Year to show the trend they'd be out of business though the YoY would be the best at predicting LONG TERM growth or loss.

We all saw the posts, the "I'm not playing Dead By Daylight This Weekend As A Killer Main", "Bloodlust is needed" etc etc. So I would like to pose some questions to those who have been experimenting with it...
- Was it really as bad as you thought?
- Is it a mechanic that you think could be changed now due to the state of the game?
- How would you change it?
- And finally, how was your week? :)
to answer you Yes it changed how the games went. my first game today just as it hit was as huntress and I suck as huntress. I faced a swf with experienced players. they got 4 gens done, I barely got any hooks and the only thing that gave me a 3K was the fact that first person jumped on a gen right away so their immunity from my own play style evaporated (and not to just stop regression) and they got hooked a second time. the second one i hooked was an experienced p3 quintin with Object of Obsession, and I hooked him 3 times but not in a row. third hook they gave up on being rescued because the 4th survivor went to pickup the quintin that i had left slugged to chase another survivor (the 3rd survivor hooked). I got a 3k through inexperience and cockyness due to the fact they knew there was no blood lust.
The above match was played on a RANDOM map that ended up being haddonfield. so I would say the answer to did it change what happened i n my matches is a resounding YES.
2) I'm sure it could be reworked some what, but how I do not know right off hand and I am not going to be asked for my opinion when they do it unfortunately. Problem is several problems: infinite loops are back because of some breakable walls that new killers and even myself don't know are infinite loops. another problem is old maps would be an issue with the long straight runs and midwitch with it's straight runs.
3) don't know haven't had a chance to think.

With all due respect, I'm not quite sure if you're trying to invent a narrative or if you're having trouble reading the chart.
ummm the numbers are there.... if you want to look you'll see the numbers here is the direct link and you can see the numbers for yourself, and by mousing over the player line it WILL tell you specific time and number of players at that time: https://steamcharts.com/app/381210#48h
This is the 48h from the time you click that link I believe, I doubt that you will get what I got for that. I also went to 7 days to compare last friday night midnight (going to saturday) to friday midnight going to sat the 21st. I did not invent any narrative I commented about numbers from the chart, and though the lines are 40K and 20K in the chart you can guestimate the number, backing yourself up by seeing it when you touch the chart it'll tell you the specifics at each hour it represents.
Now tell me specifically what you are trying to tell me about the chart that you think i was interperting incorrectly or else why did you comment without intending to try and enter into a discussion about it outside of just trying to accuse me of something you're unwilling to even do yourself.

I just had a game against a Pig where she downed me last after closing hatch so EGC started and put a trap in my head. She let me wiggle off and I finished opening the gate because "I'm not gonna try every box and I don't feel like waiting out EGC to die" so I went to leave and the game actually let me escape. Is this a bug or has that always been by design? I am so confused but happy I got my escape as Adam challenge done finally with the long queue times due to Bloodlust boycotting.
when EGC was introduced her hats were changed to not be active immediately once all gens were done, because egc was 2 minutes (3 if someone is downed) and it takes you 1 box all the way to 2.5 minutes (if you go to trap trigger) once it is active. so they still get points to put the trap on but it does nothing more for them like it used to. Also before there was away for people to get out with a hat, by the pig picking them up and carrying them across the line and dropping you past the mid point (where it'd trigger) and you could get out.

Im trying to learn how to play nurse on console at rank 8. . . last game I got two rank 1s and a rank 4, Seriously? Like why the hell am I getting red ranks at rank 8? It makes it so frustrating and im losing every single match and cant learn nurse?? I 4ked a team of yellow and green ranks but cmon man. WHY?
I'm sorry you got this but they were probably waiting a while and the game opened up their match window, or they were in a swf. but as rank 8 killer you should be matched to anywhere from rank 2 to rank 14 (that's rank + or - 6) so a rank 1 isn't too far out of the range.
-
you report them at the scoreboard screen (where your match totals are for all 5 players as well as showing perks) then you open a ticket and put what information you have access to so for steam ID you will end up putting the name they used in the match as that's all you have. and submit any evidence you have (video with a time code of where to see the exploit or screen shots, what ever you have) and they will investigate. I'd suggest making sure to mention they are crossplay to you so they know what more information they need to get from the server data.
you will get one maybe two acknowledgements that the team is investigating your issue but you will not be informed of the result or if there even was action taken so just move on unless they ask for more information from you.

For removing bloodlust. As a killer main, I always hated it since it lags you out and denies you kills. So thank you! Youve actually done something right for once!
fun fact that bloodlust being gone = fast killer matches! why? they get out of a match and they're right back in a match! survivors get to wait 5-10 minutes for a 4 stack group! gotta love that! yea it's soooo good that players have noted that some maps it's good but others it's bad. my experience: why do i want to play a game that's going to make me wait or cripple my game play... i'd rather not spend another dime on a game doing that and find one that isn't doing that to me. this weekend (friday) has already shown that the killers that didn't like the decision to do that decided to take a weekend OFF and it's showing on survivor side. now this is WITH cross play on. so yes thank you for showing me that without a true solution this game will start a downward spiral. here is what i'm talking about:
this was taken at 1am eastern time frame (or very close to it) and you will notice that the player base is dropping dramatically. last 30 days has an average of 38.8K and at midnight eastern it was at 35K. TRUE that is about the time the east coast starts dropping off but i was watching survivors play at 10pm eastern and it was bad. also if you look at the level on the day before at this time it's just barely over that, why do i point this out? this is the weekend for most people. Now this is also only listing from STEAM and though the "test" covers all platforms the numbers I've talked about are ONLY for steam thus you can see the trend. I'd love to see the trend on the other platforms but i don't think it's going to show much difference in the trend. We will have to see how the 3 day test goes, but it's a very tough thing to play through a test like this that is sprung on a player base like this was and without some sort of compensation to try and keep things working like a normal weekend playing day.
I just looked at last friday the 13th and there were 36K people playing at midnight and today at midnight there were 28K players... a difference of 8,000 players. that's a huge difference and worrisome if this becomes reality. You may like it but that isn't the whole so take a look at things from more than just your own experience look at other people's as well.
-
my understanding is that they just turned it off... probably gotten many 4k's because the survivors are playing like potatoes more because they feel cocky about being about to loop killers longer. ( meant that they just turned off the mechanic but not giving a speed boost I didn't feel one when I played huntress today) sorry forgot that when posting hehe

I felt bloodlust should stack whenever survivors do things to the killer that prevents the killer from catching them. To indicate that the survivors are angering the killer for a more realistic feeling. For example stunning the killers, or making their lunges miss on purpose. Each successful attack or use of their power would lower Bloodlust by 1 tier. Losing the chase makes the killer lose Bloodlust altogether.
Meaning when cocky survivors run killers into jungle gyms all day the killer would grow more faster (angry) as you stun them with pallets, and make their lunges miss.
As survivor you want to escape chases. Not purposely have the killer chase after you, or because the SWF seeks to troll/bully the killer. Such toxic behavior should have consequences. The consequence would be giving the killer the speed to catch you unless you can escape the chase.
As survivor this means if you can manage to escape the chase every time AND keep a killer in a particular area then that means you’re actually good at the game. You’re in control as you keep making the killer lose their Bloodlust for you. 🤷🏽♂️
though there are interesting ideas in this, currently loosing chase is counted as dropping line of sight from the killer for 5 seconds. this is too short of a period to "LOOSE" bloodlust as well. also "use of killer power makes the killer loose bloodlust" (I understand you said levels of blood lust) makes trapper and hag's power useless to combat loops. same with nurse and ghost face's power... michael's power use also becomes useless ... honestly all killer's powers become useless in a chase at that point. no more shocks for the doctor, no more hatchets for the huntress.... etc. Now maybe doc's aoe static blast could knock him out of blood lust but again it doesn't seem thematically right. Look at most horror movie killers (which is the genre DBD is made upon) and when they hit a person and they keep moving they get angrier and angrier. so any hit to loose tiers of bloodlust isn't thematically right either.
still interesting ideas.
-
Problem with this here it doesn't help with setup till after 15-30 seconds into the game, at this point there are atleast 1-2 gens at minimum 50% through their cycle maybe less depending. then suddenly if they aren't seeing anything in a while, then get into a chase they drop from say 5.2 m/s to 4.6 ms (assuming 115% killer) and thus they are slower that expected. and allow survivors to gain even that much more ground. the problem is not the speed at which the player is moving at but in looping which is the absolute means to keep the killer at bay for a long period of time becomes the one way that the players know they will be able to let the gens get done faster because the killers can't catch up as they did before. this change as it stands does nothing for the killer till mid game and then it's not that good, and as someone said it'd be exploitable by people learning how to moon walk their killer like legion players did originally to keep the mend meter dropping DURING a chase.

This post is hillarious.
why are you complaining so much honestly? most maps are full with deadends or unsafe pallets and the rest of maps will get reworked anyways.
Bloodlust got implemented to end the god loops and most god loops are gone.
pls someone tell me which reworked map has a god loop.. am i missing something?
there will be nothing left after all maps gets reworked, but you still want this huge speed boost just to bloodlust the unsafesest pallet? some people honestly.
not a single one of you complain about the huge hitboxes, about huntress hatchet hitbox, how killer sided some maps are with 90% unsafe pallets and dead ends.
about how many times a killer gets dedicated hits (undeserved hits) about how the devs changed the rank reset to make it easier for killers so they can get their 4Ks
but oh nooo devs deactivated bloodlust how dare they could do that.
dont get me wrong but if you need bloodlust to down someone then you just suck simple.
They pulled them and then put them RIGHT THE CRAP BACK with "breakable" walls..... so if the killer doesn't take the minutes it would to find and destroy all god loop walls they are there. now they want to see if it's needed? it's still needed.... but I am not against the test, i'm sure the test will show it. but the fact you have completely forgotten that they were to remove them, not make them optional. did you not remember when they said they'd remove them and then do revamps? the idea was to remove the loops and not have to deal with them again and now we have to deal with them again.

If only BHVR had some sort of Player Test Build to test things on instead of subjecting the live game to "Test features". Dang, I guess they don't have such a thing....🤔
Here is your rub, can't test how it is on consoles without doing this as this works differently on the different platforms and how it affects cross play. PLUS the PTB doesn't get enough testors to get the data on something this detailed. You could use your deductive mind to actually think beyond your pc and the game.

and before you just comment “do bones” listen here.
bones are situational, if you see a totem then cleanse it but in a fast past game (especially in red ranks) you simply don’t have time to run around like a headless chicken confirming that all 5 totems have been cleansed.
Its not a perk that assists bad killers, it’s a perk that completely carries them and rewards them for being bad *cough cough just like bloodlust cough cough*
Recently, i had a game where i ran a legion for 5 gens and got downed to noed and facecamped. my teammates were running around looking for it and only found it AFTER i had died on first hook.
Its not like it assists killers who made a few mistakes, no. You could be the worse killer in existence, mess up at every opportunity, not look after gens not know how to loop and still get a 4k because of a stupidly designed perk.
The perk is old, badly designed, way to powerful, rewards killers for being bad, punishes survivors for being good and is overall a bad perk. Noed needs to be looked into, i’m sick of being punished for playing good. It’s actually sad that people in red ranks still run it.
so to you DS: doesn't help people that make mistakes, BT: doesn't help people that make mistakes, The hatch: doesn't help people that makes mistakes. all of these reward bad game play on behalf of the survivor. you want to call noed outdated DS is outdated, BT is outdated.... lets get rid of them as well... i will even give you a bone: keep borrowed time so it's a one to one perk elimination. now lets address the hatch. this is a crutch that i find laughable! WHY? because I have seen people searching for the hatch when there are 3 gens remaining and 4 survivors remaining. as killer I love it, as survivor I hate it when this happens because it means someone is not doing things.
and NOED: by the words of NOT QUEEN "If you are not doing bones it is on the survivors when NOED happens." why? bones are a secondary objective. a killer's primary is to sacrifice/kill survivors, a survivor's primary objective is to get gens done. The killer's secondary objective is to kick generators, the survivors secondary objective is to take down totems this is an even exchange. so if you don't want NOED do bones! but because you think it's out dated like this i'm gonna tell all my friends to run it and I will run it on every killer that has it. WEEE enjoy your noed and before you call me trash do realize that I can 4K without noed even being activated! and I've 4k'd with three perks! not 4! how bad am I now? lol

Would you download the PTB just to test this change?
because not enough people go to the ptb anymore. they can't even have actual matchmaking on the ptb because of this. this is actually the best way to test this. and find out what needs to be changed. If more people would go to the ptb then they'd test it there, this way they get way more data and a much bigger chance of seeing where changes are really needed... I would HOPE though they compensate those that play killer in some way because bloodlust is still needed with things as it is.

As someone who works for tech support in games you are calling me uninformed. 90% of the game crashes I've been getting in DBD have been a faulty game file with their updates. It is not on my end. What is uninformed is every time they blame your internet when it isn't. What's next? turn it off and on? bruh.
your faulty game file could have been corrupted via something happening on your computer, steam could have messed something up, lots of reasons. I've looked at the reports that I got from dbd, and then I went and looked at the windows logs and there were problems that caused those crashes so it wasn't the game but my pc causing instabilities with the client files resulting in the crash. Now you are correct, if you are a tech support I could not have known till now. ALSO as someone in TECH SUPPORT you should realize that what the user thinks happens is rarely what actually happens because there are more things going on than just what is seen. Honestly if it's a game file that was corrupted the most likely culprit is your computer not writing to the file properly and the second most likely is steam causing an issue as it updates the game.
@Gay Myers (Luzi) said:
If you have an error message, you can post here to figure out what's causing the issue: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues

I'm not even playing on PC, so more than half of your argument is invalid.
Xbox titles include: Halo, GoW, L4D, Need For Speed, Titanfall, Watch Dogs, and several others.
Just because you haven't experienced an issue, doesn't mean it's not there. I know for a fact you've experienced survivors making no noise. Everyone has. Crashing can occur for several reasons. Streamers have had the game crash from just pouncing as Victor. Guess they ruined the match and deserve a penalty?
here is the rub 1) your XBOX is a PC (PERSONAL COMPUTER) it checks all the boxes to make it a personal computer. 2) you are approaching this from the wrong way. this is what is up: in mid 2019 the amount of disconnects rose to a point that the devs HAD to take action and put up something. unfortunately they did not have the time nor the expertise to put up something that is more than you disconnect you get penalized. Even then it would take a team of networking people to look at each case of internet outage to try to even determine if it was an issue that isn't the player.
@MPGamer18 said:
I agree that the penalty is trash. But not for this reason. Over the past few days I've had my game crash on a PS4 Pro and a PS5 many times and have had to wait out the timer each time. Those instances were not my fault and I should NOT be penalized for it.
While I hate farming, I just do it and get through it and leave.
you can submit tickets to deal with those instances and there IS an option about disconnect bans being incorrect. but i doubt you want to take the time to understand how much work that entails. when you crash it might not even be your client.

Ah sorry I forgot about the Freezer room. That's 5. Maybe a 6th if a jungle gym spawns although those are rare and pallet gyms are much more common.
Hatch is hard to find usually due to it being able to spawn literally anywhere on the floor, whilst you compare it to maps like badham where apparnely it's only ever able to spawn in the basement of the preschool. Same with my ruin totem.
I'm not saying that they don't have their ups and downs. I'm not saying they're all 100% killer sided and survivors always lose. I'm not saying they're fun and engaging- I got Lerys like 5 times in a row as Freddy and it was boring as #########. I'm saying that they're not survivor sided, due to a multitude of factors, and things that work against the killer also work against the survivors.
Unlike maps such as Haddonfield or (current) Ormond which are so clearly survivor sided.
i've seen the hatch on badham in freddy's room, in the gen room, in the boiler room (where basement is) in the preschool, and you know it won't be in the other area above that basement. i've seen it in and around the killer shack, i've seen it in the middle of the street, at the ends of the street (3 places), in the 2 story house, in the two areas of the other house, i've seen it in the wooded area around the shack, I've even seen it in the playground area so it is placed in lots of places on those maps.
the game: can be anywhere in the basement area of the warehouse this is true.
I'm not saying a map can't be survivor sided or killer sided, but they aren't as bad as people make them out to be and that's my point.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1759517#Comment_1759517
Most Lerys pallets are unsafe with a couple safe/god scattered around. Most windows also aren't very safe and without lithe chsining tiles together is very difficult. It's definitely runable as survivor but as killer there's still things you can do.
The Game, yeah it's safe pallet heaven but also once those pallets are gone there's nothing. There are 4 windows on the entire map, 2 of which are at an l-t wall, one is above the bathroom, and one is by an exit gate. All of them aren't particularly safe. Furthemrore finding anything on that map, from gens to hooked people to totems to said safe pallets, is an absolute nightmare. It's not exactly an amazing map, and depending on the teams it can be survivor sided, though the vast majority of the time it's killer sided. Plus with builds like EndFury those pallets aren't staying up for very long.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1759216#Comment_1759216
See my point above about the Game and its safe pallets.
Stealth, yeah, I get that, but also if they're hiding they're not doing gens, and Hawkins/The Game are pretty small so if they're immersed they'll hear your terror radius a lot and just not do gens.
Plus, like I said before, and so did you tbh, information cuts go both ways. Finding hatch on indoor maps is an absolute nightmare.
Also it depends on the killer; as Wraith or Doctor or Freddy a Hawkins offering basically guarantees my 4k, whilst as Nurse or Pyramid Head I'm far more likely to voluntarily use Ormond offerings because imo it's such a good map for them both. Haddonfield may perish swiftly :).
hmmm 4 windows on the game? one in the control room above the bathroom leading to the drop down to the bathroom, one in the freezer room, two in the room in one corner and there are atleast 2 other windows in the downstairs area.
hatch being hard to find? well it's rarely covered by grass and can't be seen when it reveals itself before opening (if it doesn't stay hidden till the last survivor)
Every map has it's benefits for both sides, and every map has it's detractions for both sides! some are skewed but not as badly as anyone here keeps calling... honestly people should stop complaining about indoor vs outdoor maps.... i've seen survivors die in a 4k on lerys to a hillbilly, hell i got a 3k on a hillbilly when i barely knew how to play it! only missed 4k because of the hatch. there are lots of different things out there look for the good and not the bad and you'll have more fun. hell i have fun as killer on ORMOND!

I've always wanted this and it would really help w/ the BP grind that is only getting more and more tedious. Hell if they tied it to prestige's (5%/10%/15%/20% refund) that would actually give a lot of people a reason to prestige.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1759583#Comment_1759583
As for this argument, I am inclined to disagree because of the design of blood webs. There are dozens of items/addons I have not because I wanted them but because they were on the path to something I actually wanted.
then stop at p0 level 50. don't get anything more, only pull from chests and build up what you want, and leave the rest in the matches. i'm sorry again you BUY the thing, even if you get maneuvered into it, you COULD just let it be! oh yea you don't have to get the item. so what if it's there. the number of items versus how many you have barely spans TWO pages! maybe 3 in the case of offerings.... why don't you propose that you should tell the game what you don't want to have in your blood web when you FIRST start playing and you will never see that in there every again... yea lets just let it load you up with 100's of one or two items and not give you options to change up, learn new tactics instead you end up with the SAME MATCH over and over and over and over again. SNOOZE FEST. I've found uses for the green keys! know what? the damn wedding ring! makes that key bond to whom ever is the damn obsession! i've used most everything else. I keep what i don't use why? because i like to hoard items.. i'm part dragon and part wolf you see!

when something is retired they discontinue it's ability to be used and it will stay in your inventory. why? because when you got it there is quite possibly a reason to get them, and you spent the points expecting to use them. you can get rid of them by prestieging your character as that wipes your inventory! why should they give you points for something you yourself clicked on to get? you chose to spend your points you could have used them before. (don't give me the well the game made me take it... i doubt that.)

If just want the game to recognize the difference between losing connection and quitting a match. DBD is the only game I ever have connection issues with while playing.
CoD works fine.
Genshin works fine.
All of my Xbox games work fine.
It's just DBD.
if you want that, then write a program that can tell the difference between a player using windows to block internet connection and the network between the player and the server having issues. if you can't join the club, even I can't tell you how to let the computer know this in a timely manner. I would (as a network certified tech) have to look at the logs of the affected computer, the affected dedicated server, know the correct packet connection and look at the packets before the disconnect to have even a CHANCE of deciding if it's intentional on the player or not. this would probably take about 2 hours of dedicated work and someone that understood how packets are done to catch the difference and that's if you could even do so!
CoD server connection is a different network connection route and type between player and server and it has had it's own connection issues that have lasted for days where you couldn't log in at all.
Genshin also is a different network connection route and type between player and server and beyond that I have no information as I can't stand that game personally.
Your xbox games work fine, again what games? what is their connection route and type? what else is it? is there spurrious information coming through that causes the console to make an illegal (code wise) call in the os? this can happen and DOES happen.
You say it's just dbd.... great way to make your case when you can't address all the possible issues. players here complain about "bugs" where survivors are silent while on the ground on pc and I am on pc and I have NEVER had this issue. I've read about so many people that have had their dbd client crash on their pc, yet my pc has no such issues, 2 times maybe a few more but well below 0.01% of the games i've played were caused by the actual client but my Operating System making incorrect calls on hardware. I have had a few network issues both my home network, my isp dropping connection, or some where in between but again less than 0.01% of the games i've played had this happen.
With all this information I'd say perhaps there's an issue you don't understand affecting your dbd client... btw... network issues has nothing to do with the dbd client what so ever so it can't be just dbd.

Every scenario is different. Perhaps if i was playing with better survivor's my feelings would be different. At this point - i still play to do my best and hope my whole team doesn't die. I'm just that sort of team player. If players are being stupid then of course that's not what I'm talking about. Watching time go by 80% of the time when a killer tunnels, forget it - I'M out. That's how I play. And i bet that's why you also see so many others drop out too. Play how you want. My opinion stands that a 10 year old can tunnel and get a kill and be so happy with themselves as if they've accomplished something.
No one is telling you to change your game. The comment is a judgement and an opinion. Like politics I don't expect to change your mind. J.ust point out an explanation for the common complaint of players DQ'ing. If you don't feel DQing is an issue for your games - Go on with your life and leave this thread.
I've nothing more to point out or say. And quite frankly - "I'll Play Anyway I Want" while saying "Go Find A New Game" is the height of feeling your argument won something - much like a game - that a 10 year old would play.
but you are telling others to change their game. you are trying to tell people it's TOXIC that it's against the rules, that it's a punishable offence to camp or tunnel, it's an authorization for survivors to disconnect which IS against the rules of the game. so let me compare this to something you might understand better. so take a college basketball game, they have something called a ZONE defense where the defending team makes a box around the basket attempting to make the opponent get tired, sloppy, and make mistakes or get the shot clock to run out in order to get the ball in order for the other team to do the exact same thing that's a snooze fest! Now move up to professional basketball, and the zone defense is AGAINST the rules.... if it's used it is penalized, but it's something that the professionals could use but they had to do it on the sly and make it look like man to man when it really wasn't. If caught they'd be penalized. SNOOZE fest! now that rule has been eliminated but there was a time that something in one place was allowed, but another disallowed is much the same as disconnecting (which you advocate), yet camping and tunneling have been talked about by the devs in that it is a legit strat, but perhaps not the best strat to win DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION.
so my point here? is stop whining and get better. here are all the snooze fest things you and others mentioned:
Camping
Tunneling
Gen rushing (yes 4 people on seperate gens is a form of gen rush but to truly be one, you need tool boxes, brand new parts etc to really be one)
taking hits for the survivors to get them out
weaponizing DS
making the killer pick up a ds enabled survivor instead of closing the hatch
blocking the hook
body blocking other survivors into a corner or revealing to a killer where they are
body blocking survivors in a corner for longer than a short while (example: bubba/billy saw charge = short, mikie getting to tier 3 = long) both pretty much bad but the former atleast only takes advantage of a survivor's miscalculation on where they are to down them quickly and progress the game.
now if you look at this list I see 3 things that are killer sided and 6 things that are survivor sided. and only ONE can be 100% reported to behavior and another is situational. if you see a camped survivor and can't bait the killer away you best get gens done quickly or you will all be sac'd. simple as that. let them camp, let them loose emblem points, you get what you can, get out and get in another match with points and no penalty. how hard is that to understand?

no one is mad YOUR ego is bruised because the "strategy" is one that someone who JUST got this game would rely on. No one is sounding entilted in the least. YOU feel that way because when the truth that its MOST basic way to get a kill goes against your belief that you are "winning" the game that way. SURE. HAVE the kill. Its worth less points. JUST sit there and watch someone die. BUT - then you can't whine when people DQ.
oh yes they can complain about dq's. why? dq's are against the agreed upon rules. everyone who plays accepts them when they first load the game and accepts the end user's licensing agreement! with the exception of game breaking bugs, disconnection is not allowed and YES it is stated in the damn rules posted on this forums.

It not fair that the game crashed and you get lock because their game is not balance like they need to fix that.

Lol they don't care. They'll just tell you it's your internet, even when it isn't.

I did send them this report to see if they unban that 3 mins from me and reward me some BP.
a crash can be one of many things, it isn't just their game. it isn't just the internet. if your system makes a corrupted video call or access call the game can crash. if your internet security activates, it could crash the game depending on what's going on. There is so many things. i'm sorry it happened, you will not get any bp from it, but you could show them an issue they didn't know about so it can get patched because of a code interaction between the game and the system so it's great you sent the information in.
@Marigoria you are uninformed about these things. they won't know till the information is sent in, which it was and then solutions can be found. They will not say it's your internet when they know what caused the error that crashed the game. they might not take action because there is nothing they CAN do because it's not the program that caused it but possibly something else. but if you just say you disconnected (not crashed) without information they can't do too much investigation either. and that is not something most people are set up to have captures of.....

over all after the first tome, the split was about 60% survivor and 40% killer because killers get more blood points per match in general survivors complained so the killers challenges got dropped below 50/50 but this time it is very much more 70/30 (approximate) I can support the 60/40 split but I think something's happened, also this tome (tome 5) survivors have been getting easier paths to the epilogue and killers being funneled through heavy time sinks. not really the best.

Since cross play has happened I swear all players that have camped and tunnel are pc players and I’m a Xbox player so it’s super difficult to 360 and all that and it’s getting super annoying that I can’t disable cross platform so I can get rid of this issue
I’m not calling pc players bad it’s just do you seriously need to ruin a fun game for everyone by camping and tunnelling?
I'm a pc player, played survivor today faced 4 of 5 killers were crossplay and 3 of those 4 tunneled and camped. I'm not crying that all console players are tunnelers and campers! Stop blaming crossplay for your bad games. there are litterally 1000's of people playing this at any one time your matches are 40 to 80 people over all in a day? I don't say it's a great strat but it IS a strat. get off your console vs pc complaints.

Lmao. One of the first challenges for Level 3 is "Throw a rock 2 times using the perk Diversion". Should have been in Level 1.
I don't think there's actually been an easier challenge.
true and that one leads to the adam escapes then to the 15 gold emblems and the killer track. so i'm not upset at those as much as i am the other track going all standard challenges to get directly to the epilogue vice the killers having to go through one master challenge and the sheer number of survivor challenges...over all ah well it is what it is.
-
this level is so survivor sided it's not even funny. the first challenge on the killer match is minimum 3 matches, upto 12 or more depending on the player. first survivor challenge is 1-2 matches in general but could be more. and survivors don't even have to contend with a 15 emblem requirement, they aren't even required to take a single master challenge to get to the epilogue. then players like myself can't get 4 chain saw hits in a match, can never do this unless people give us the hits. last one was a second chainsaw hit in 30 seconds. was a GREAT challenge. hell I can't even hit one player on blight while rushing! much less chain 7 together and hit the player at the end of that! this I agree they should be a bit easier but not too easier.... 4 or 5 would be a hefty challenge for me. i'll be stuck at 15 gold emblems for a while anyways YEA!

You shouldn't be punished for DCing
ok so you shouldn't be punished for face camping, tunneling, farming or playing the game. all killers get all three hooks (or remainder of those hooks) when a person dc's, they get full points as if chased for short time (5 seconds say), hit twice, hooked each time. also if there is a dc the hatch is completely disabled and doors take twice as long to open including doubling any modifiers like remember me.
hmmm will this happen? nope I don't think it ever will.... you just want to cry that you didn't get the match you wanted and leave it to try and get it again... what happens if the next match is not to your liking? your killer is the wrong one? your map isn't survivor (or killer) sided? and YES this is about killers dc'ing too. outside of the game's own stated rules when dc'ing is alright are two reasons 1) verified network/client issues, not I crashed, behavior fix your crap! and 2) if you are in a life or death situation because of a killer in game (phobias of clowns does induce some very hefty panic attacks).
was I being sarcastic in what I suggested? yup i really don't think it'd be done. but you know what your comment there is just as idiotic as my comments. atleast I talked about my thoughts in my post here.
