That's what I figured, I hope I didn't step on your toes in doing so.

    Of course not lmao.

I don't mind, I can't be here every second so having a 2nd opinion explain it is good.

Here's the video, took a bit but here it is.

That's how fast it is with all those perks stacked on-top of each other... in video form.

(Side-Note) I edited the video to get to the part where I cleanse, but for some reason it isn't showing the edited part for me despite this being posted during post-edit, so if it's the same for you than skip to 0:05 in the video.

  • @Oicimau

There is no hints or official statements on what the next Killer will be.

Since the previous two Killers before The Oni were licensed and than The Oni, being non-licensed, came out makes this entirely unknown to what the next Killer will be. It's best to just leave it up to fate and wait for a possible hint or trailer from the DBD Twitter in the future.

At the moment though, nobody knows and it's hard to make a theory off of literally nothing...

  • @Tro

Personally, this is the only Killer I never touched/touch, so it's hard for me to make a guide on The Nurse since I personally never liked her.

Even when I started playing I never played her and she was one of the Apex Killers (Still is depending on if you know how to use her) in the entire game. So, it's not like I didn't have the chance to play Pre-Nerf Nurse for a long time, I just personally never did because I felt she was a crutch if I knew how to play her.

That's just my opinion though, others would disagree but I personally saw her as a crutch. Now a days though, I still don't haven't picked her up, and I probably won't until she's my last P3-50. But besides how I feel about her, I can suggest some small tips below and some perks that would be useful on The Nurse for beginners, if you're looking for an advanced guide than this isn't the one sadly, this is just common sense and basic knowledge i'm giving you.

    tips and tricks

This part will be fairly short, but i'll give you some insight and basic tricks to know for playing Post-Nerf Nurse.

    Nurse's blink charges

For one, Nurse's blinks will recharge during her fatigue animation and than continue to recharge for another 4 seconds afterwards. Now, how does this make sense if both blinks take 3 seconds each? Well, the fatigue you get for base-kit Nurse is always a guaranteed thing during a chain-blink, knowing that means the first charge will recharge DURING the fatigue for 2 seconds and than finish 1 second after the fatigue is over.

So in a sense, you'll almost automatically have a blink ready after the fatigue, but in this case you need to wait 1 more second before you get that first blink to recharge for use. So, it's kind of almost like Pre-Nerf Nurse's base-kit except you don't have 2 blinks after the fatigue and the first blink takes another second after the fatigue.

So, utilizing add-ons that reduce your charge rate like Dark Cincture and Fragile Wheeze will definitely help with this quirk.

    nurse's add-ons

Another thing to note is that a lot of The Nurse's add-ons can still be utilized in many different ways and interesting combos. Add-ons like Dark Cincture and Fragile Wheeze reduce each blinks charge rate by 1 second each. Other add-ons like Spasmodic Breath for unique builds that require a blink hit and than a regular hit to down a Survivor is niche, but the concept is ultimately up to you.

I won't go too in-depth in this part, since I have a video below that'll explain all this.

anyways, here's a video about everything you'll need to know

This video actually covers Post-Nerf Nurse and all the changes that were made to her add-ons AFTER the PTB. So, it doesn't talk about add-ons the previously reduced charge times a lot more and instead is the accurate up-to-date version of The Nurse at the moment.

It might miss some hotfixes and other such things, but it's still fairly up to date with the add-ons, power, etc.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1vmGIzrnF0

my build suggestion for the nurse

Now, as said above i'm not a expert with The Nurse since I never bother to play her for my own reasons. She's the only Killer I don't play regularly, but with that being said, I've played pretty much all the other Killers multiple times and on a daily basis, so i'm going off of common sense to her power and just a basic understand of how her meta works and still works at this time.

Also, the build i'm going to suggest is a beginners build, so take that as you will.

[Here's what I suggest though]: Corrupt Intervention, BBQ & Chili, I'm All Ears, and Infectious Fright.

    • Corrupt Intervention - The Plagues Perk [In-game description] (3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds at the start of the Trial. Survivors cannot repair the Generators for the duration Corrupt Intervention is active.) [My thoughts] (It's a good perk to use as an alternative to Ruin, since some players don't like New Ruin and use Corrupt Intervention instead as a substitute. The reason I didn't pair Pop Goes the Weasel with this perk for this build is because The Nurse, on the right Killer, can play effectively without PGTW. If you can master Post-Nerf Nurse, than you'll have no issues with Gen times. Corrupt Intervention is supposed to help from the start, so don't take it as a for sure counter to Gen-Rushing.)
    • BBQ & Chili - The Cannibals Perk [In-game description] (After hooking a Survivor, all other Survivors' Auras are revealed to you for 4 seconds when they are farther than 40 metres from the Hook. Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, gain a 25% stack-able bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100%. The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial.) [My thoughts] (Aura readings are great for a Killer like The Nurse than can traverse multiple Tiles to her next Survivor, it also helps with just finding who to chase next for another down. The BP gain is also a plus, so it's something to for sure use on The Nurse.)
    • I'm All Ears - The Ghosts Perk [In-game description] (Any Survivor performing a rushed action within 48 metres from your location will have their Aura revealed to you for 6 seconds. I'm All Ears can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.) [My thoughts] (This perk is really good for Killers like Spirit, Oni, Billy, and especially The Nurse. Giving The Nurse a Aura reading for 6 seconds on a Survivor in a chase is really good and it makes it pretty easy to blink to them for a fast hit/down. This perk really doesn't need any more explaining than that, it's just really good on Killers that can get to the Survivor at a loop with ease.)
    • Infectious Fright - The Plagues Perk [In-game description] (Any Survivors that are within the Killer's Terror Radius while another Survivor is put into the Dying State with a Basic Attack will yell and reveal their current location to the Killer for 4/5/6 seconds.) [My thoughts] (On a Killer that can down multiple Survivors, depending on your skill with them, should really use this perk to just locate any nearby Survivors for more potential damage and/or downs. Killers like The Oni, Billy, and Spirit really benefit from this perk and The Nurse is no exception to this fact. If you can down a Survivor fairly quickly with The Nurse, than you should use this perk to down anymore nearby Survivors that you're alerted to with this perk in your 4th perk slot.)

    conclusion

Despite not being a Pro-Nurse that you were looking for, and not really being a console player, this is the best I can give you in terms of a guide or just common knowledge to know when getting into Nurse.

Nurse is fairly complicated to learn for beginners and this is especially true on console. If you just adapt what you learn from that video above into how you move and play on console than it should click eventually. If you doubt that, than look up a Nurse guide for The Nurse, the ones I tried to find were all Pre-Nerf so... try going off of that and than apply the changes after.

Stay safe out there, see you in the fog.

14 seconds is the longest if we look at your stats...

I think he means the Kill in-general and not the entire animation.

If we're talking the whole animation than yes, it's on par with Killers like Nurse and The Plague.

Are you sure that the system simply summates bonuses instead of applying them after each other?

Also, I'm pretty sure that 40% of 14 seconds are 5,6 seconds, so the totem would be cleansed in 8,4 seconds.

That's correct yes, 40% of 14 is 5.6 seconds so the totem cleansing would be 8.4 seconds and not 10 seconds.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1048554#Comment_1048554

The TL;DR is, you can use Mad Grit to counter it, or you can use Agitation and/or Iron Grasp to make it easier to get to the hook, or if all else fails, just try to make it to the hook while hitting any survivors who get in your way, and take comfort in the knowledge that each survivor trying to bodyblock is one less survivor working on generators, so it's not the end of the world if they manage to wiggle off since it won't actually buy the team that much time.

Thanks for explaining it to him, i'm not here 24/7 so...

Thank you I understand the ranking system a bit more now :) I look forward too see what they bring to the game @Loey I agree I have seen a lot of Killers who camp and Teabag at the hook, It really is pathetic in my opinion but then again I feel it is because they are not a good killer, @bomb1720 Do you not have people bodyblocking you? Thank you @Fibijean and @FireHazard :)

    Also, no problem again.

  • @018908043

Also for context, some players claim that the Xbox Game Pass is a gateway to cross-play with PC players, but this is not the case.

As said above, there is only cross-play with Steam and the Windows Store, nothing else.

  • @Brainfck

With that being said above, some Survivors are just... "less skilled" I guess? Than others that're of the same rank.

Everyones different and they grow at their own pace, usually you'll get a good team or you'll get a team that isn't 100% optimized. This happens even at Red Ranks believe it or not, its unfortunate when it happens but you can't always play at 100% efficiency every game, sometimes you'll get a team that needs a bit more support or they take their own time.

  • @InTheBushes321 said:

3 perks, add-ons/offerings allowed, Merciless victory (2 pip). Which means it's impossible to get at red ranks on killers, so yeah.

Not really, I've done it before plenty of times, it's hard but with enough dedication and the right Survivors you can get this done in a pinch.

Ironically, the last adept I did (Adept Oni) took only the first match to get it at Red Ranks, so, it's for sure do-able depending on what Survivors you get, the add-ons, and how familiar you're with the Killer themselves.

  • When I get a video i'll post it here, it's probably not going to be today or for a bit, so unless I forget than the stats above should be enough.

  • @somniuh

I'll provide a guide that you can use below and some tips on how to use Ghostface effectively in-game. The guide itself might be all over the place, but i'll do my best to compile it all in a compact and neat way.

first, lets talk loops and m1 killers

For one, Ghostface is a pretty unique and decently strong Killer because of his abilities and what not. Although he has a power that reduces his Terror Radius to 0, he still has to abide by all the chase mechanic every M1 Killer faces. That being said, he's still fairly versatile in-game and can easily sneak up on his victims for easy hits/downs.

Before I talk about how his power works and what to know when using him, i'd like to suggest a video in this sub-section of the post to go and watch. The video I will provide is slightly dated, but it's very informative and useful for knowing how to use every basic tile that's in almost every map AND also know how to face them since you're viewing it from a Survivors perspective and slightly Vice Versa in some cases. That being said, "tiles" or loops can range from basic to advanced, some are naturally spawning structures that're based on RNG around the map, and the advanced ones are usually loops that're a part of the "main theme" or main building of that map.

Anyways, here's the video on every basic tile in the game

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6QYjInzLeM

(Side-Note) This video is, as said above, fairly outdated and doesn't have maps like Hawkins, Temple of Wrath, and recently reworked maps like Lery's. That being said, some of these maps still introduce these basic tiles like Yamaoka's Wrath and the rest of the original maps and several other maps as well. So, it's in your best interest to still watch the video.

second, tips and tricks for ghostface

Ghostface, as said before, is a Mid-Tier Killer with a lot of capable and versatile abilities that benefit him in stealth and even grant him the ability to put people in the "Exposed Status effect".

For one, he's a lot better with stealth than someone like Myers because of his size and ability to crouch. He may not be better in terms of the exposed effect, but he's no joke. You could easily lose track of him if you're not looking around all the time in-game and you can easily get the jump on someone for an easy grab.

With his power [Nightshroud] he's able to revert his 32 Meter Terror Radius down to 0 with the click of M2! He can also use a similar ability to Myers where he stalks individual Survivors, or several Survivors depending on the situation, and apply the "Exposed Status effect" or more commonly referred to as "Marking" on Ghostface.

While he doesn't apply it to everyone like Myers does in Tier lll, he can still stalk multiple Survivors in a group at the same rate while Myers has a slower rate of charge when multiple Survivors show up on the screen.

Anyways, you can use his ability to your advantage to sneak up on Generators while crouching or staying out of sight while walking around the Generator for an easy grab, optional and entirely versatile! Using perks like BBQ & Chili or Ruin + Surveillance is great on a Killer like Ghostface that can use Tracking perks and Tracking perk combos to their fullest, so keep that in-game.

    last, my build suggestion.

I always say that i'll "try to make it short" but tbh that never happens, so i'll do my best to compact each perk into their own sub-section and keep it neat below. Each perk will have their own description and in-game description for their stats so keep that in-mind when reading it.

Also, I use many perk combos with Ghostface, but i'll suggest the primary one I use Post-Ruin change.

[Here's the build suggestion]: Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ & Chili, and Nurse's Calling.

    Ghostfaces standard build

This build mainly focuses on the basic traits that every M1 Killer faces, so it's fairly standard for Top-Tier play on Ghostface and in-general.

    • Corrupt Intervention - The Plagues Perk [In-game description] (3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds at the start of the Trial. Survivors cannot repair the Generators for the duration Corrupt Intervention is active.) [My thoughts] (It's a good perk to use as an alternative to Ruin, since some players don't like New Ruin and use Corrupt Intervention instead as a substitute, along with Pop. Personally, I use it because it's an alternative version of Ruin that lets me use Pop, since Pop doesn't work on new Ruin now. It's fairly good on Ghostface though, having no Terror Radius most of the time can make it fairly easy to sneak up on Survivors that're sneaking by to the active Generators.)
    • Pop Goes the Weasel - The Clowns Perk [In-game description] (After hooking a Survivor, the next Generators you break is instantly regressed by 25% of its total progression. Normal Generator Regression applies after the damage is done. Pop Goes the Weasel is active for 40/50/60 seconds after the Survivor is hooked.) [My thoughts] (Great perk to combo with Corrupt Intervention, this perk was mostly used with Old Ruin since it would apply that 25% to progress and still synergize with Ruin, but now just replace Ruin with Corrupt Intervention and it's still a good combo to have. Also, it's pretty easy to sneak up on active Generators and go for a grab or just sneak past Survivors to break their Generator and than chase them after.)
    • Nurse's Calling - The Nurse's Perk [In-game description] (The Auras of Survivors who are healing or being healed are revealed to you when they are within a range of 20/24/28 meters.) [My thoughts] (This perk is a must have for any stealth Killer like Michael Myers or Ghostface, it's fairly easy to walk around with basically no Terror Radius and sneak up on healing Survivors within 28 meters with a Tier lll Nurse's Calling. Essentially, if you want free downs than this is the perk to add to your 3rd slot, for sure.)
The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial.) [My thoughts] (This perk doesn't really need a description for why you use it, it's mostly just to have that Aura reading to know who to chase next outside of the 40 meter Radius and check if anyone is nearby who didn't show up in the Aura reading. The Post-Game BPs is also a bonus, so if you like walking to your next target with a 0 Terror Radius and get a free hit... than by all means use this perk for sure on any Stealth Killer.)

    conclusion

I hope this helps out, gives some insight, etc. This should indeed be a useful build for Top-Tier play, despite being fairly standard it can hold it's own with the right Killer that's familiar with M1 Killers like Myers, Trapper, etc.

Stay safe out there, see you in the fog.

I think I've just avoided killer, because I get 90% SWF that just wanna trash talk after a match. My inbox on the Xbox has so much unread trash. Lol

Understandable, sometimes people change sides cause it gets boring or in your case too many SWFs/Coordinated teams kept showing up.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/125643/body-blocking-hooks

neither does the tunneling or camp seem fair to me. Each part does what they want in the game, the developers don't think that camper and tunneling is something baneable or that it needs to be changed is for something, just as they have made a lot of changes with the Body block bellied as it was before, to They are "teamwork" and tunneling and camper are "strategies" and not against the rules. In my case i use iron grip.

They did change the points you lose when camping a hook for too long, but that's about it. Camping and Tunneling are considered strategies yes, it's kind of hard to circumvent this through buffs or nerfs. That's why DS was changed to counter-act tunneling, I suppose its a solution to the problem... depending on if it's a problem to you or not.

Okay thank you, May I ask the ranking system on this game seems a bit weird, My Bf is a rank 12 killer and he is going against survivor rank one's is it based on your skill at the game because that doesn't seem fair match making? Thank you for all your help again :)

The matchmaking is currently acting up. One of the main issues at the moment is the "rainbow rank" issue, which is where low ranks sometimes get paired with Purple or Red Rank Survivors/Killers in the matchmaking queue.

This is where the name "rainbow ranks" comes from, its the different colored ranks being queued into one match. Obviously this isn't normal, so BHVR has made a post in the news section about a matchmaking overhaul, this is scheduled to be added gradually, so it's not going to instantly happen in one patch.

I mean even when the entire team uses petrified oak our entire team couldn't get off the killer once, even with our perks that boosted our chances of wiggling off.

Depends on what situation the Killer is in and what map it is. It's something that really doesn't need to be implemented since the wiggle meter is just supposed to be a "lucky break" for a Survivor that was able to far enough from a hook or have teammates that took hits for them.

Petrified Oak can only do so much, the wiggle mechanic isn't supposed to be a for sure escape through decent odds, its just supposed to be a lucky escape through circumstance and... luck... in a sense.

  • @Asegbloodtears

Until the overhaul comes out... you'll just have to deal with it i'm afraid.

Sounds blunt but, that's the best I can say to this situation at the moment. It's one of those situations where you can't really do anything until it's fixed, and yes, it's indeed being fixed soon.

From my understanding, it doesn't affect the emblem as much now because you will continue to get points after the first 9 minutes.

That's correct yes, each minute gives you a set amount of points based on how many Generators are left. It also rewards bonus points for keeping the Gates closed when they're powered.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1048991#Comment_1048991

Rank means absolutely nothing as the developers of this game refuse to realize that an MMR System is equally bad or even worse to the current rank system, and rank barely means anything in a means of match-making anyway so rank means absolutely natta.

Oh, and DC'ing being a bannable offense is false, because back around when the Crotus Penn Asylum exploit in 1.6 was found, the developers also released an official statement saying you have to DC 80% of your rounds...

    80%.

That doesn't mean it's not bannable... they said that as an estimate to how many DCs it would take (at the time) to GET banned by the DCing system.

DCing is for sure a bannable thing and too much of it can give you a ban. It's unknown how many DCs it's required to be banned now, and honestly, that's for the best so people don't abuse it more than they already are, that's why the DC penalty system will solve this issue for the most part.

  • @UntilValhalla13

They're entirely random, but they usually happen around holidays like Christmas, Halloween, etc.

One happened around December when Christmas was still happening so... it can be entirely random with no real set date or it can be around holidays.

You shouldn't be getting bloodpoints just from logging in. The most likely explanation I can think of is that the game just isn't registering your last few purchases for whatever reason. I would report it as a bug, and/or contact Support and see if they can help you out.

Here is the link to the Bug Reports subforum: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bug-reports

And here is the link to contact Support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/

Or he could be rolling back, it does happen... sometimes.

Not sure if someone can roll back multiple times in a row though, at least I think that's how often this happens to the OP.

  • It's speculation on there being one, since he's getting random amounts of BPs when he knows how much he logged off with.

My guess is that he's just fogetting something, that it's from a challenge, or from a Log In Bonus that i'm not aware of. He's also getting random amounts, which makes me believe that it isn't a Log In Bonus.

I had no idea there was a login bonus. I always drain my bloodpoints before i get off every night. I started keeping track of it. Tuesday into Wednesday was an extra 17k bloodpoints and last night into today was 11k bloodpoints. It’s always a nice surprise.

I believe it has something to do with a Log In bonus, since a first match of the day XP bonus exists, but i'm not too sure if a Log In bonus is tied into this.

Either like I said, its a Log In bonus that was added in, its a challenge from before since those add BPs, or you're forgetting something.

I doubt it's a Log In Bonus because you have such uneven amounts each time, so its probably the latter.

Oh nice thank you :) Looking at getting the flower to be honest, Not sure about Oni that is why I asked

Oni is ok to use, depends how far you're into the game and how familiar the controls are to you.

Play Billy a bit and than see if you want to try Oni, Oni requires you to gain his insta-down power before it can be used, it can't be used off the bat like Billy.

It would make the grind even more ridiculous and it would reduce the number of characters played to those who have unique meta perks, which it would also be bad for the cosmetics business. That's why I don't think we'll see that.

The grind is already bad in general and especially for killers. I'd rather see that fixed and let people play whatever characters they want.

I wouldn't say the grind would be ridiculous since it still works like normal with how you gain perk Tiers and what not.

But yes, it would kind of ruin the point of having Survivors with less useful abilities or perks, since they'd be used less over the meta Survivors with better abilities.

  • @Ourculture

I'll give you what I use AFTER the Ruin change, since you only want a build this shouldn't be... too long... (epic forshadowing!!!)

What I use on The Pig now is either Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes the Weasel, Brutal Strength, and BBQ & Chili OR Ruin, Surveillance, BBQ & Chili, and Brutal Strength/Save the Best for Last.

I'll categorize each build in its own sub-section below and "keep it short", since I don't really need to go in-depth on how these perks work, but I will give a small description with the normal description to give you an idea on why I use these builds.

    Build #1 - The Pigs anti-gen build

As said above, this build is Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes the Weasel, Brutal Strength, and BBQ & Chili.

So, if you want to focus on a Anti-Gen build than this would be the perk to go with.)
Definitely a perk you need for a Anti-Gen build.)
    • Brutal Strength - The Trappers Perk [In-game description] (Destroy dropped Pallets and damage Generators 10/15/20% faster.) [My thoughts] (This perk is great for every M1 Killer, it synergizes with the pre-existing perks above AND it helps get rid of a lot of Pallets in and out of chases, whats not to love? It's a perk that every M1 Killer with an Anti-Gen build should use, especially when Pop is involved.)
The Post-Game BPs is also a bonus, so that's why this perks pretty meta in-game for one way or another.)

build #2 - The pigs tracking build

This build focuses on passive anti-gen repairs and also tracking said Generators with Surveillance. As said above, this build is Ruin, Surveillance, BBQ & Chili, and Brutal Strength/Save the Best for Last.

    • Hex: Ruin - The Hags Perk [In-game description] (Whenever a Generator is not being repaired by a Survivor, it will immediately and automatically regress its Repair progress at 100/150/200 % of the normal Regression speed. Hex: Ruin affects all Generators.) [My thought] (Great perk for a passive anti-gen build, but where it really shines is the added bonus that Surveillance gives when you use that perk WITH New Ruin. It's great for tracking which Generators are being worked on again and which Generators are still regressing.)
    • Surveillance - The Pigs Perk [In-game description] (All regressing Generators will be highlighted by a white Aura. Once regression ends, Generators will be highlighted by a Yellow Aura for 8/12/16 seconds. Noises created by Generator Repairs are audible at an additional 8 meters. [My thoughts] (On it's own it's more suited to be paired with the Anti-Gen build above, but with Ruin it's essential for this tracking build. Since Ruin breaks any Generators that stop gaining repairs, the perk applies itself to said Generator and alerts you to any Generators that're still regressing with its White aura and any Generators that just started gaining repairs again with it's Yellow Aura. Great perk for this build, it's basically necessary to use if you go with this kind of build.)
The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial.) [My thoughts] (Again, this perk is mainly used for where to go next after a hook and for it's BPs game during post-match. It's great for stealth Killers and in-general any Killer with mobility, stealth, etc. The Pig can use it to crouch to her next Survivor and get a free hit or you can just walk there to find and hit them around the area. For this build though, BBQ & Chili is used as another means to track Survivors outside of the Ruin + Surveillance combo, so if Ruin is broken than at least you have this perk to help subside that loss.)
    • Brutal Strength - The Trappers Perk [In-game description] (Destroy dropped Pallets and damage Generators 10/15/20% faster.) [My thoughts] (This perk is primarily used for breaking pallets and cleaning up the area in and out of a chase, that's mainly it when it comes to this build. The Perk itself is optional to use over the other perk STBFL, but it's mostly just used to clean up pallets so it's easier for you to chase Survivors as an M1 Killer, that's it, it can't help with the Ruin combo unless Ruin is broken.)
    • Save the Best for Last - The Shapes Perk [In-game description] (Earn a Token for each successful hit that is not dealt to the Obsession. Each Token grants a stack-able 5% cool-down reduction on successful attacks. You can earn up to 8 Tokens. Attacking your Obsession will make you lose 4/3/2 Tokens. You can no longer gain Tokens if your Obsession is sacrificed or killed. You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.) [My thoughts] (This is the better option for this builds 4th perk slot, it allows you to gain tokens for hitting/downing Survivors that're not the Obsession and it brings a 5% cool-down for each token you have, making it a lot easier to hit a Survivor and than hit them again in the span of a few seconds... especially if you have 8 tokens! Either perk works for the 4th perk slot, but this one is the better alternative in my opinion.)

    conclusion

Hope this gives you an idea of some perk builds to use, both are great in their own ways and you can also mix and match add-ons to benefit these builds, Crate of Gears + Tampered Timer is the best add-on combo for The Pig.

Anyways, again, I hope this does help you out!

Stay safe out there, see you in the fog....

    @Fibijean

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and being super thorough! It probably is something i unlocked as a regular perk. That would be my guess with what little knowledge i had until recently. I appreciate all of your help!

Now i just have to figure out why i always have a random amount of free bloodpoints every day i log into the game, lol.

You're either forgetting how many you had before or it's the Log-In bonus that gives you them.

Or because of the challenges, either or.

I like everything you said. Thank you for taking time to give your thoughts.

I think lore and backstory definitely add a unique feeling for sure to each survivor and killer. Killers have the power uniqueness, so I was just pondering what could this game do to make survivors also more unique also for maybe team builds instead of me using the same perks on different survivors... cuz when I try to switch it up and do something different, it just doesn’t really work out for me that well. Although maybe it’s because I’m so used to running certain perks and need to adapt and learn what I’m trying to do..

I just guess I just wish there was a unique reason to use different survivors besides which one you personally like the most, ya know?

Maybe instead of my idea.. add a specific passive ability to survivors. Maybe Feng does gen faster with tool boxes or Claudette heals faster with med kits. Maybe you have thoughts or ideas?

That other idea has issues with who would be used more over the others, that kind of scenario, I understand where you're coming from but I think adding a passive ability to Survivors or a unique ability to each one would spark favoritism among the Survivor mains and ALSO cause a spark in a new Tier list being created.

Essentially, certain Survivors with less useful abilities will be curbed over say... Feng's ability to repair faster with a tool-box or... (for example) David Ability to recharge his downed meter faster, something like that.

I don't have any idea for Survivors when it comes to a unique power, since I strongly believe it would disrupt the meta in some way and cause a lot of Survivors to suddenly see less use due to their abilities being worse than others.

  • @Bearzo

It's a unique idea and it would give each Survivor something special to choose from... but there are some flaws with this idea.

For one, certain Survivors would be picked over others if this was the case, since they'd naturally stick with a Survivor like Laurie that automatically has DS and than can pick from other perks that can give her the same meta build. In a sense, people would work around this and defeat the entire concept.

Second, as stated above it's too easy to work around, so it kind of defeats the purpose of each Survivor being unique if everyone in Red Ranks was playing as Laurie for DS or Bill for Borrowed Time, they would just pick these specific Survivors with those meta perks off the bat and than only use those Survivors that come pre-packaged with a meta perk.

Its a step in the right direction for each Survivor to be unique in a literal sense, but I feel the idea behind every Survivor having their own lore and unique look is enough don't you think?

tried it with only shock Therapy didnt worked either...

Than it's bugged yeah, which again, isn't surprising for the achievements unfortunately.

Your best bet is to go to the Bug Report sub-forum about this and wait until it's fixed, otherwise that's about as far as you can go with this unless you keep messing around with Doctor to see if anything changes.

M&A comes first, however, if you also run Shadowborn; upon entering a chase you will not lose your FOV gain. So, they technically do stack, just in a really weird way.

Not really, in a chase I had the FOV set to Shadowborns 15 degrees the entire match, going in and out of chases didn't do anything and if it did it was hardly notice-able.

But I checked again and again in a chase and the FOV was still set to 15 degrees in and out of chases, so... no... it doesn't really stack FOV wise but it does still give the 8 meter reduced Terror Radius outside of a chase.

That's about it, so technically you're right, kinda.

i think it may have to do with the Static Blast

maybe the game counts when you use Shock Therapy and put people in Tier 3, and not when you use the Static Blast

Probably, or the achievement is bugged which isn't a surprise for the achievements unfortunately.

The answer is not related to balance at all.

I openly asked about this (and other issues) on a thread (you can click on my profile and check the thread), and the answer directly from peanits was basically "I don't know". Now, we could talk for hours on how this is not an answer you should expect from a developer, but basically it was removed because whoever change maps decided to remove it.

That's true, but whether it WAS because of balance issues is unknown.

So only the map creator knows and I doubt we'll get an answer on that sadly.

  • @Mystix said:

@FireHazard Nice! That is awsome, What do you think about Oni and Flower? The flower seems quite powerful :) Do you think they will release more killers? They seem to be releasing content regularly.

@Kranchers Thank you that is an awsome idea :) Will try that out thank you for your help, I usually just slash them haha :)

The Oni is ok, he has better maneuverability when dashing than Billys sprint, at least in my opinion.

Demogorgon is ok too, he's usually around Mid-Tier or so because of his Shred and portals, making him decent in chases and good around some loops that can be Shreded or mind-gamed with Shred.

  • @The_Daydreamer

Short answer, the loop was too strong.

That's mainly what it boils down too, the loop was far too strong so they removed it. That, or it was because of another reason i'm not aware of, for the most part though, the loop was considered to be too strong with Pre-Nerf Balanced Landing, and just in-general I suppose.
