Dwight was wearing that cosmetic which has already broken glasses in it.

If the effect of any Hex perk is revealed to you, you get Cursed. The only Hex perk this doesn't apply to is Haunted Grounds (maybe Blood Favor and Undying too, I'm not sure). After this, as long as the Hex totem stays up you can forever recover from the Dying state with Soul Guard.
Examples of when the Cursed status effect triggers:
- Letting go of a gen with Ruin active
- Having someone on the team get insta-downed for the first time because of Devour Hope
- Starting the cleanse totem act with Thrill of the Hunt
- Getting hit when Third Seal is active
- Hitting a skill check when Huntress Lullaby is active
- Having someone on the team get insta-downed by NOED
- Retribution making you Oblivious after cleansing a dull totem

Infectious really isn't needed on Billy, unless you're looking for easy/fast games if the survivors are close together.
I usually run BBQ/Shadowborn/Agitation/Enduring.
BBQ is an obvious choice.
Shadowborn is just a personal preference of mine, you don't need it, but it helps me with curves sometimes.
Agitation because of hook bug, also helps me get to the hook I want to go to, not just the closest one. Is also just a random choice, you can swap this out if you want.
Enduring is good, but I've considered swapping it out for something else since you don't keep your charge after being stunned anymore. Can be swapped out for Discordance, maybe Whispers or a utility perk.
Another build is also BBQ/Shadowborn/Enduring/Discordance.
Discordance is just a good perk on Billy, he can get across the map extremely easily and is probably the best user of the perk on an outdoor map.
Slowdown perks are not needed on Billy as you start to get better at getting fast downs with your saw. You can put on Pop or something as you get better at him, but I wouldn't recommend any sort of slowdown perks as a staple of your build.

Cross progression was confirmed to arrive somewhere this September or maybe a few weeks after, but it's only for Switch/Stadia/Steam, so you can't transfer progress from PS4 to Steam once it does arrive. They are working on getting it ready for all platforms though.

Technically Ghost Face, but I was gifted the DLC and didn't buy him. The first one I bought with shards was Legion, and the first two I bought with auric cells were Myers/Bubba, I can't remember which one was first.

It should be somewhere this month for Steam/Switch/Stadia, there is no news on whether it will be available for PS4/Xbox though.

Dropping the survivor below the hook and picking them up usually fixes the bug for me.

I had the same problem, you can fix it by going into handheld mode, waiting about 10 seconds and then going back into docked, fixes the resolution problem for me, just do that whenever you get the weird pixel quality

You can't, but I've seen some people use bypasses like special text to get vulgar names.

Cross-progression isn't in the game yet, and even then it hasn't been confirmed for Xbox/PS4, only Steam/Switch/Stadia.

First survivor to P3 (and probably only) was Dwight, first Killer to P3 was Ghost Face.

The add-on chances are extremely slight and very unnoticeable most of the time. Prestige isn't really worth it unless you really like the character or want bloody clothes.

Each player gets a special DBD tag meant for DBD only, it would be something like FilledPizza#c95c (some random letters and numbers at the end), someone another platform enters that code and they can friend you, then it functions as if you were their friend and on the same platform, switch friend code has nothing to do with it

I'm a rank 1 Doctor main and I faced a rank 17, rank 19, rank 6 and a rank 8. They all had below 300 hours, with the rank 19 having 30. I haven't seen Survivor yet but I doubt it'd be much better.

I did that a lot of times i swapped to pyramid head then swapped to legion. Didn't work.
Did you still have the default/prestige body on? It only worked for me if I fully switched (let the other Killer's menu music play), and then switched while having anything other then the default/pres body it should work.

The old one fit Myers more, it's hard to think of Myers having a chad stride with shoulders up, the old one was more soulless (aka, fitting Myers)

Hillbilly on Killer, also Doctor. I find both of them very fun, Hillbilly because it's always nice to run around the map and also very satisfying to get Chainsaw hits, Doctor because of how easy it is to find Survivors.
Dwight and Nea, I like their designs, there isn't much to go into.

I was walking to gens long before I knew sprint burst was a thing. I find blending in and not showing scratch marks to be more beneficial than running round and having the killer find you. And before you say blendette, I'm a dwight main.
Pretty sure I've actually faced you before on Switch, weird. I've seen a Claudette with your username.

Happens to me on Switch as well, it only occurs for me when I equip the Prestige body or the default.

They're gathering data for the MMR system before they actually release it so that not everyone starts at 0 and everyone has a lot of unbalanced matches for the first few days of the system.

Might be bad joycons. I too have a Switch and I'm getting drift so far a little. Try posting it in the bugs section.
The joy cons work perfectly fine, I can press the buttons and I can see the first few seconds of the animation, it automatically cancelled each time I try to do it, the second bug only happens when the survivor's hook timer doesn't go down.

Try equipping the add-ons and playing a game, see if the add-ons stay the same and give the effect or if they change into the new ones.

Yeah, you have to mess up HEAVILY or just be trying to overheat the chainsaw for it to work. In normal gameplay, he's almost the same as before minus the add-ons.

I agree that it would be hard against SWF, but think about this:
You're playing a game where you don't know who the killer is. You go to a generator, just like all of your teammates. Soon, one of them go there to work with you on the generator. Suddenly you got grabbed. As the game goes on, the killer should always try to get the players while they aren't together with anyone. That way, everytime someone sees a survivor, they will be afraid that it is the killer. This could work if the killer is good enough on baiting the survivors.
Once again, while it is a good concept, the problem with it lies in balance reasons, it'd be way too strong in solo if you were experienced with the Killer (as you said), but against a Survive With Friends team on comms, after a while the Survivors would eventually realize and tell each other where they are to completely counter the Killer's power. It would only work in the beginning of the match against SWF. Also, Bond could (maybe) tell you if the Survivor was real or not depending on if their Aura was shown or not. The killer only has a chance of winning against solo teams.

While it does sound like a good idea on paper, it most likely hasn't been added due to how useless it would be rendered by SWF. In my opinion if this was to ever be added it would probably be Legion's power/what it could have been.

From the "can't even hack." part of this post, I'd say OP was using some sort of exploit and then (rightfully) got banned for it. However, this is just a hunch, I don't understand this thread either since it lacks context.

You won't get the characters you already have, if there are any exclusive cosmetics for the DLC, you get that. If you have 1 character you'd get the other but since you already have the first, nothing changes.
