If the perk you want isn't there then avoid all the other perks in the web and try to get all yellow and brown add-ons to move to the next web for minimum bloodpoints, that's what works for me anyway.

Try going into the app data in documents and then delete the DBD folder.

It's something to do with the app data in documents and then delete the DBD folder. No idea if that will make any sense to you but it takes like 2 minutes to do it. So deleting the app data is the fix.

SBMM is pretty bad no matter what, and if queues are long then the range will keep expanding until it finds someone to fill the lobby. However, if a killer dodges a lobby, then I think the system goes into a panic mode and is like, "Ohmigod, these survivors need a killer NOW!" and it ditches any cares about matchmaking ranks, sticking in a killer as fast as possible.
I wasn't paying attention but that does kinda make sense and sound possible, when a killer dodges you get a new one pretty fast.

There are also hackers cheating without being noticed.
Struggle and escape off the hook 100% of the time, running every perk, slight speed increases etc.

Yeah the matchmaking is pretty abysmal, definitely got worse since this last chapter.

Many people do that already using perk randomizer websites, I get it would be more convenient to do in-game but I doubt we'll see this anytime soon.

I'm not a fan of maps in the daylight and some of the crazy bright cosmetics do ruin the immersion.

It hasn't, its just a trash system that only looks at escapes and kills, the two worst metrics to build around, and everyone's MMR's skewed.
When they first put it on I was getting challenging games, now not so much.

Actually you can still get a 4K without tunneling it's just harder to do🙂

Spoken like someone who hasn't played killer in high mmr matches. Anyone can play without tunneling it's whether you want that 4k or not.

Survivors don't like tunneling because when done properly the end result is that they all die.

Not always the case though is it. Sometimes you tunnel that poor soul out and the other 3 fall because of it.

I feel like a good fix to this would be lose collision if a survivor gets crows, and then give collision back after a few seconds when they move.

DC penalties are fine, this game is a mess without them.
It's rare that taking the game hostage happens and it's reportable when it does, if you can be bothered to put the evidence together and whether they'll be punished or not is another matter.

Slugging does not make you lose MMR?
MMR is based on kills and escapes and that's it, currently.

I guess you could argue that Plague is a range killer. But her vomit is only deadly like half of the trial. And it's the survivors who give her that power.
She has to hit twice with a cooldown between the shots to do damage at range though.

I saw a streamer have the same issue, they had to reinstall or do something with the game files.

The thing is that this hurts the newer players who come to the game and play killer more than anyone else because they won't have great perks either so they have rough games and just stop playing. More experienced players can catch up in other ways where as less experienced killers will feel hopeless.
