Corrupt Intervention is such an overrated perk. Against good survivors, they just get on the gens that aren't blocked as soon as you start your chase and they get 2+ gens done anyways during the time that Corrupt is active! 3-genning is absolutely useless now because of Circle of Healing. It's in every single game now. You can't win the war of attrition. You commit to the chase and they finish the gen. If you stay on the gens, they just heal in 4 seconds. Balance changes need to be made to rectify these issues in regards to survivor spawns and preventing killer snowball. Every perk now is designed to stop the killer from having any chance of capitalizing on survivor mistakes. When the survivors don't make many mistakes at all, 2 hook games are the norm. No one is going to keep playing killer with that result every game
Yeah corrupt isn't 100% effective all the time, but having it is still better than what can happen without it though, it helps with most of my games anyway.

The first step towards fixing all of this game's problems is going to have to be fixing survivor spawns. They shouldn't spawn fully spread out, they shouldn't spawn as close to generators as they do now, they shouldn't spawn on top of totems... once that's fixed, caution should be taken to not make generators take too long, but I could see some further changes to nerf repair speed increases like toolboxes and perks.
Yeah I pretty much agree with everything you said. I can literally hear totems when I spawn in sometimes and most of the time spawn on a gen.

No. Hell no. I can't even play this game normally when the penalty is off.
Killer someone doesn't like? Dc.
A survivor gets caught in a trap? Dc.
Map someone doesn't like? Dc.
This game is dreadful with no penalty because people do it at the slightest incovenience.

Hey friend! Maybe I can help clear things up:
Grades are not used by the matchmaking system. They used to be called "Ranks" and were used for matchmaking, but that is no longer the case. Grades serve as a monthly tracker for how much time you spend playing, based on the Emblem system (Emblems turn into pips, and pips turn into Grades). You can't lose a grade through de-pipping anymore, either! At the Grade Reset on the 13th of each month, everyone goes back down to Ash IV and starts the climb again, and they get a Bloodpoint reward for their previous Grade. Get your Grade higher, and you get a bigger reward!
MMR is an entirely separate value used for Matchmaking. It's hidden, meaning you don't get to see it. It has absolutely no connection to Grades: Your MMR doesn't directly influence your Grade, and your Grade doesn't directly influence your MMR. MMR doesn't reset each month, but it is constantly adjusting based on match results to try to find you balanced games. This is why it's called SBMM (Skill Based Match Making), it's trying to measure your skill and put you in matches with similarly skilled teammates / opponents.
We've been considering removing the Grade icons from the post-game screen due to this confusion. I was hoping we could leave them there to allow everyone to have a little way to show off / have some bragging rights, but I've seen lots of people confusing Grades with MMR (understandably so!). What do you think? Should we hide the Grade icons on the match summary?
Thanks for taking the time to ask your question! I hope this explanation has helped clear up some of your confusion so you can get back to enjoying the game. <3
I'd remove them, it's of no interest to anyone how much someone else has played that month and is often misunderstood.

That happened to me today I had a challenge to close the hatch so slugged the last survivor to go close it. Felt bad they were slugged for so long so I gave them the gate and they dropped their item for me, kinda wholesome.

You want survivors to not get rid of the crows. It's an easy hit if they do that
Yeah true, would be a nice addon to protect totems though. By the time you go for the second hit after a swarm your hex will probably be gone.
-
They just need to make some better totem spawns and make it so survivors can't spawn literally so close to it that they can hear it.
-
Hell naaaaaaah
-
Personally I don't attack an AFK at the start of a match but if they AFK for so long they get crows then I'll hook them.

I find trying to mind game the killer (at certain loops) super fun. It's more fun for killer as well because I can sometimes mind-game them resulting in an injure/down. It's way more unfun (for both sides) when survivors run in a straight-line holding W and pre drop every pallet.
You can still mindgame her just in different ways like faking that you are going to run past her idle bird so she shoots it then she's on cooldown, I play her a lot and just punish the survivors who hold forward because they think I'm gonna set up a crow when I don't need to.

This. We've had so many anti-loop killers recently, and it's just kinda getting boring at this point. Not to mention the best thing you can do when playing against her is just hold W. So much fun.
How is holding W at the right time so much less fun than repeatedly going around in a circle against someone like ghostface until dropping a pallet more fun? Also if you hold W against the Artist at the wrong time you just give her a free hit. You have to actually put some thought into what you're doing against her.

Fun :)

Alien, with a spaceship map.

I kind of agree it's sad when less skilled players get tunneled out just because they aren't using DS.
-
Fast Struggles = Camping
Long & Slow Struggles = Someone needs to get me
-
I do fast struggles when the killer is near me and long slow struggles when I need someone to come get me.

I agree that 3rd and 4th reward is weak or very situational and it should be changed to make it more rewarding, but insta kill all Survivors? That's sounds like way too crazy and broken. Killer could just wait for all totem to be gone, no warning for the Survivors, then active all of them and gg ezi.
And btw I think the 5th reward is strong allready and I like it. It makes the totem effects permanent which is huge.
If the killers gets the opportunity to do that and waits for all totems to be gone it should have some crazy effect like that though.
I think the 5th stack will be useless by the time you get it, if you ever do.
-
When you've played enough of her yourself she's easier to go against as a survivor, I have fun against her especially if i have a flashlight.
-
No, it's the one of the most effective things to do as a killer but feels bad for the survivor it's happening to so they will say stuff like that.
-
The remaining 3 survivors usually have an unfair dragged out game. If a killer dc's it's just go next.

Oh look, that's not a crossmap snipe.
Her strength is comparable to Doctor.
She gets obliterated at loops because the counter is to run away otherwise she gets a free hit. She has the ability to do something like that, but let's be real, that Survivor didn't seem very good.
She can still hit through walls, which puts her above doc just with that. It's weird you say she gets obliterated at loops because when a survivor tries to hold foward against me I usually get a free M1. Idk man you must be really good with doc or just bad as artist.
-
I still find deathslinger fun to play, I must be weird.
-
The devs said him and legion were the next killers they were looking at changing so maybe he'll be improved.

No Survivor worth their salt is going to get crossmap sniped lmao
There is nothing doctor-like about this.

You can't do crossmap snipes if crows get just sent to the void as soon as there's a 2 inch deviaton in the ground
I mean I was just replying to the dude saying her power is the same as doctor's which is just ridiculous lol. I'd agree with the guy above they should follow terrain but being able to shoot them up and down would be too much.

Disagree.
She's the same power level as Doc, just harder to use.
Last time I checked doctor can't do crossmap snipes through walls but hey she's my favorite killer so if she keeps getting called weak I don't mind it, all the more kills for me.
-
I play her fine without it, it might push her over the edge and make her overperform if they did this. I think using verticality is fair counterplay. She's still very strong.

I guess the only players that matter to you are the Iri 1 elite players. The rest of us don't matter?
Iri 1 is no indication of skill level, just how much time that person has played that month. You don't need to be an elite player to deal with flashlights. You've had the game for like a month so you aren't the best you could be yet. Since you like myers get bamboozle with corrupt if you haven't tried already.
-
Just by saying you need lightborn to stop flashlight abuse tells me all I need to know. Have fun attacking jumping coke bottles and guitars.
-
The topics you make contradict themselves an hour before this one you said ruin and scourge hook is the only slowdown you need now you're begging for nerfs. Stop posting crap.
-
Not worth anything but once you have them all it's pretty easy to keep on top of them.
-
Isn't Victor pretty easy to use to bait it out though? It's hard to tell when he's gonna pounce.
-
She's fun to play as. It's funny people saying just hold W against her but when survivors try do that to me I just get a free hit on them anyway. It's not as easy as just leaving the loop and going to the next, she's fast.
-
You don't think The Artist's power is dangerous? You trippin.
-
She's strong enough already without those changes.
Not sure what you're talking about with the survivors counterplay of jumping through windows and hiding behind obstacles? The Artist doesn't really care about either of those things, she can shoot through obstacles...
-
I'll play some spirit today, she's still good. Might spice it up with some prayer beads so my movement can't be tracked as easy.
-
When they start removing the crows after about a second the aura disappears. The aura will only stay showing if they aren't trying to remove the crows. Unless you are saying they weren't trying to remove them and the aura still wasn't showing?
-
What?
-
I want cute Feng back :(
-
At high level against good players if you play nice and never tunnel you will get no kills, just the way it is. There isn't enough time in a game to go around hooking everyone in turns.
-
Yes. This has been doing my head in.
-
No one is gonna even run that boon perk after a couple weeks.
-

I'll take a very slightly compromised vibe if the alternative is not being able to see anything going on.
Old Coldwind and old Gideon's were awful for this, now you can actually see on those maps.
The design team should have the ability to make a map in the dark where you can still see well enough to play.

I don't like how breaking free from his chains is the same button as vaulting pallets on controller and I'm not gonna rebind just for him.

Which console?

Franklin's was changed mostly due to the vaccine with Nemesis being a single use item. The perk would destroy the vaccine and render them unusable.
Which would make it a decent Nemesis perk? I don't get this decision at all.
