Well Victor is nude, but he's smooth like a barbie so i guess it doesn't count.
-
He needs a buff but BHVR is too irrational to predict.
-
It looks that way. although the whole event is going by without the game being playable on console, so it's no surprise really.
-
He could work like the twins. Switch between Charles Lee Ray and Chucky the doll. Just make the doll better than Victor.
-
Legal reasons most likely. It happens in the US too, sometimes a certain state may be excluded because they have different regulations for contests.
-
The dust settled? The game is still unplayable. And the map is mostly unavailable.
-
Dead Hard would be fine if they just remove the invincibility aspect. You simply have to use it at the right time to avoid the attack, just like every other dodge/dash move in every game ever made. Ffs Ocarina of Time did it right, but BHVR can't figure it out.

I remember there was a DBD is dying post yesterday. Even though the average daily players for the last month was at an all time high.
I bet the console numbers are a different story. And supposedly, console has more players, not that you'd know it from looking at PC dominated forums like this one.
-
Yeah it's far worse on PS4 now with yesterday's patch. Killers were just getting these sudden freezes when near survivors, especially if the survivor did any kind of action. Now those freezes are more common, PLUS it's now happening when walking around the level with no one near by.
-
I'm floored by the fact that you get a speed boost from being infected. Unbelievable.
-
Nemesis gives you a free speed boost for being infected even though you don't get hurt. He counters himself lol.
-
Yeah it's pretty absurd.
-
Dodge the lobbies. It's so hard to find a killer right now due to the bugs, they'll learn quick enough.
-
I think it's meant to help out new players who are coming to the game due to the RE dlc.
-
Myers is pretty awesome. I'd P3 him for the mask if it wasn't for losing so much stuff.
-
So you want infinite invincibility? Being able to easily escape one chase is the equivalent of the original DS. You're effectively demanding to use DS multiple times per match lol.
-
For most killers, it has little to no counter unless you have the right perks, which isn't a real solution.
Enjoy me playing Doc even more now. 10 bucks says the Lucky Break users all DC/give up on first hook.
-
I mean, it literally removes a consequence of being hurt, and a major aspect of the gameplay. No limits at all. Imagine if enduring removed the pallet stun instead of reducing it. Survivors would have a stroke, yet this is the equivalent.
-
Have the devs themselves ever confirmed that the Entity is harmed by light? I'm pretty sure that theory became popular belief because a fan made a long essay on one of the forums claiming it must be true, and everyone liked it so the fans decided it was official lore.
Now these same fans are acting like the devs have broken the law by contradicting their own imagination.

Many of the BHVR people stream themselves playing. They don't have alternate or ideal play styles, they play like the rest of us.
There is no hidden layer of depth with Trickster, he just isn't any good.
I watched one on the official account once. I popped in right as he was insidious basement camping with Bubba.
-
I don't care for Blight. It's just boring and basic. He moves fast. That's it.
I don't play as him either. I don't see the appeal. Bounce around and maybe hit someone.
Also, an old man's cane is a dumb weapon.
-
All I want is for each of my killers to be gauged separately. Spirit and Wraith are not the same.
-
I'm pretty sure they "stole" it from the famous art of throwing knives as performances, but ok.
-
Well all updates have been exceptionally bad for 3 months straight, so that's probably why.

I just faced a killer that crealy knew I had DS. After getting unhooked, he downed me again, and he didn't pick me up. And at the very secod DS was not active, he picked me up, so he knew both that I had the perk, and he knew exactly when it was not active anymore
If he had Make Your Choice, the timer is exactly 60 seconds from when you're unhooked, same as DS. So if he was far away when you got unhooked, he knew the exact moment DS ran out.
-
Looks like the next killer is involved in programming or development, part of a company called Mightee 1.

The Hacker.

Ok lets talk about nobody. Nobody asked for a new ui. Do you deny that people wanted to buff solo survivor informationwise? I see them ask for a totem counter quite often. How do you display more information while not changing the ui in any way, can you explain?
There's been no increase in info except for hook counters, which are useless. In fact, they took away info; the HUD used to show when someone was picked up, being carried, or being healed off the ground. Now it doesn't. Further, it's now too difficult to see borrowed time, the hook timer, bleedout, madness levels, Freddy's timer, Pig's timer, Victor's claw icons, and likely others that i haven't seen yet. It's as if they didn't even look at the new HUD before releasing it.
-
I've seen it on Badham and MacMillan.

I wish they upped the blocked time to 45 seconds so it can at least be an equal counter to pop.
overkill. Pop's timer starts the moment they hook someone. so it includes the time it takes the killer to go to a generator as well as the whole kicking animation, including any time they might spend chasing survivors they find on the way. Repressed alliance protects the gen for 30 seconds the moment it's activated, so adding those times up makes it outlast Pop most of the time, unless the person is hooked right next to a generator being worked on.
Also, if the killer decides to camp a sealed generator AND waits for the blocked timer to run out, that's 30 seconds the survivor has to run away and get on another generator. If the survivor doesnt take advantage of it, that's the survivors' fault. just like when survivors reward a killer who camps the hook by standing nearby teabagging instead of doing gens.
-
it wouldnt matter. it's obvious the stats they've already released are lies. remember a few months ago, they claimed on stream that Lithe is more common than DS, BT and the other meta perks. which is so obviously false it's a joke.
-
@Orionbash said:
With the Ruin/Undying meta and tons of tracking perks this perk is in desperate need a buff. 3 charges with no way to replenish them when you can't control when it goes off? It would be a great perk to use against Ruin + Undying.
It's not meant to make you immune to aura reading. It lets you find out what aura abilities the killer is using so you can counter them accordingly afterwards. Too many survivors have the philosophy that they should be immune from killers rather than adapt to them .
-
Seeing each other's aura is the best feature of that perk, especially in solo play.
-
I'm pretty sure it's not coming and they just won't admit it. I love how people think BHVR could even get it to work. Notice how they never explained what skill will be judged on, even though it's supposedly different than emblems.
-
lol this crap again. it happened with the Legion release too, I got merciless killer as Legion with their perks 3 times, it never popped until the 4th time, which was like 2 months later.

Interesting statement, but I doubt the devs really gave the science and implications any thought. Also, despite us calling them conjoined twins, they're not really conjoined. They are, in fact, two bodies, one wrapped around the other's insides.
but that is conjoined. it's the Entity that separated them.

"HA! I can see you looting chests practically anywhere on the map now! Sure, I gave you 2 more chests to loot... and with Appraisal, technically 1 of you can search all 5 chests for 8 items... and you have a higher chance of escaping if one or more of those items ends up being a key... but I can counter this by using a VERY RARE OFFERING... that, actually shows up less often than the ultra rare offering I get... man..... ######### Twins? Why would you teach me this?" - Every Other Killer
exactly this, the new killer perk is actually a direct survivor buff lol. I'm actually more determined not to get the twins til this is fixed.
they're just trying to erase their obvious **** up from the release notes because people arent getting the twins.
-
so they fix Victor getting stuck in the ground, but sent Feng in instead.
but thats assuming they actually fixed Victor. We'll see, since they "fixed" lots of stuff that didnt get fixed.
-
It occurs to me that Victor must be the first trans character.
Think about it: he's male, yet a conjoined twin with a female. not possible, unless one of them is trans. and since Charlotte seems to have breasts in a time when she certainly couldn't get implants, it must be Victor.
Also makes sense since his lower half was stuck inside Charlotte, so the ignorant peasants wouldn't have realized anything was off if he called himself male.
-
I love how instead of fixing Hoarder, they just removed the function entirely. lol BHVR.
-
yeah because moris arent given out in the middle of a match due to RNG.

We know from a leaked add-on that there is now an afterpiece tonic and an afterpiece antidote. It'll be interesting to see what the two do.
my guess is you'll use the tonic first and it works similar to now, but using the antidote after will negate that, but apply a worse debuff.
-
@Yords said:
The fact that you actually bought the dlc when it was already clear that it was unfinished and buggy is the shocking part
honestly. BHVR outraight admits that 5/6 new perks are bugged in the release notes, and the killer's movement, after already admitting the killer is broken at lockers, which they'll fix when they get around to it with no schedule.
-
we dont want it.
-
@T0xicTyler said:
There's already a penalty. The survivor gets multiple status effects during the duration.
which are largely irrelevant. cant heal or do gens, but you've turned the killer into a slow basic attack killer who's easier to loop. and you can still even vault and drop pallets. hag without traps lol.
-
Blood Pact is a top tier perk and I feel like i'm the only one who knows it.
I think it shows the problem with survivors' mentality and reliance on free escape perks in this game. It gives you and a random player a great deal of info about what is going on, and thus the ability to make much better decisions; problem is, if you aren't all that bright or strategy-minded, you wont know what to do with that info, and wont be able to make better decisions anyway. And if you've spent nearly all your playtime relying on infinite life-builds (Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable, BT), you won't ever learn how to use good intel. So you'll end up thinking that intel perks like Blood Pact and Kindred are trash.

This is why you aren't and should never a be a dev, that's such a bad idea
Insults without an argument. Like every time it's pointed out.
-
They need to do a "no sprint burst as a reward for being hit" weekend, and see how many survivors aren't as good when they're no longer rewarded with an escape for a failure.
