I don't think hes talking about frustration the same way you do.
-
They wear some cosmetics.
-
You are assuming I run the usual meta.
-
Yes, its necessary.
-
Honestly, People already alt tab out of the game when they are hooked the first time.
-
What do you want? You want the dev to waste time coming on Stream to tell you his work isnt ready yet?
What is anything to you?
-
Well survivors need to crouch, so you cant remove that.
So it needs to be a time restrictions on it so survivors cant tap it.
-
very cool, you must have spent a long time on this. Good job.
-
You have put a lot of work into your ideas, Well done.
-
works fine for me, maybe you computer has an issue?
-
This will not happen as some where very unhappy about playing that kind of Freddy.
The only way to resurrect that Power would be to rebalance it so its fun for survivors too.
BHVR thought it was better to replace the entire power.
-
If you wait, BHVR will make it available in the store later, you do have to wait :c
-
Clown needs a Cop Outfit.
-
A Map with Survivors who are not dumb is the worst.
-
We just need a perk to counter that, if only there was a perk that removed Terror Radius... HMM.
Nope, it does not happen.
-
I agree, I dont want to pay so many bloodpoints to possibly disregard DS after 2nd hook stage. Ill just walk to the hook its fine.
The offering is useless to me and I wish for better and more fun offerings.

You have 75 perks and 22 different killers. What more variety do you need?
Offerings that are worth their price in bloodpoints.

So now it's in line with the other useless offerings :P /i
You use the offering to get a daily done, bc you like the animation, or you are afraid of late game DS. Easy :)
making more useless offerings is not a good thing, its boring and limiting of our options.
-
I hate Offerings with limited usefulness.
I want SOME usefulness or why should I use the Offering?
-
Use Camaraderie. Its a Steve Harrington perk.
It was in the Shrine 13.05.2020.
Perk descriptions may vary from in-game descriptions for reasons explained here.Perks support Mouse-over functionality (desktop version only): hovering over the modifier words with your cursor will reveal the values behind them.On mobile browsers, the values are displayed in small text after the modifier words. Desktop users experiencing issues with the mouse-over may temporarily switch to mobile view at the bottom of an Article page. Camaraderie is a teachable Unique Steve Harrington Perk . It -
Even tho some perks sound powerful and sometimes get a good grip on Survivors, its never an assured thing, You still need to down and hook survivor, I dont worry about it and still end up Rank 1 all the time.

What about people who sabo or hooks are perma-broken nearby from previous sacrifices?
I do agree "Tactical" use of a Mori is pretty niche now. I think the main reason to bring a mori is you just like to see the animation.
That is what-about-ism.

WOAH! I have not seen this thread since July the 8th. Thanks.

- No.
- Its coming.

This would be CARL's Perk.

Damn, You are right tho, when its too close its a bit unfair, but idk, Dont they have the hatch? Are we talking after hatch has been closed?

That was the first one I found using Google, but I know there are more recent ones. I just can't be bothered to find the most recent one.
Any outside the forum tho? I'm pretty sure their twitter is silent on it.

ITS GOOD TO BE KILLER NOW!
Oh damn my Moris are useless now. Oh god.
-
Rifts are easy as hell, forum is full of people to advise you what perks can help you. I managed it just fine.
Being intelligent about the games you play can speed it up.
-
I would prefer at least a mention of it within a month. But Thanks @Orion for the find. Its a lot better than what i found from BHVR twitter.
Last mention Aug 12, 119 days ago. YIKES!
-
What?!?
I think I follow pretty closely everything, when was the last mention of this? Can you find a link since they said it so often @Orion?
-
Honestly, the Fact BHVR has not said anything at all is slightly worrying.
I wish they come out and say, Yes we are hard at work on it.
-
Maybe, I rather that getting hit by the Killer always had a risk of dropping your item by default, Franklins would then increase that chance and destroy charges. You honestly telling me you got smashed by Oni's big club but you always keep grip of the flashlight? Come on now.
-
Alright, @RamblinRango You got me.

@greekfire774 your post smells a lot like you have not considered what was talked about in last Q&A stream and posted last night.

We are a week out from the release of the 4.4.0 update, and we wanted to take a minute to acknowledge: This release brought more known issues and bugs than usual, and for that we would like to apologize. We’d like to pull back the curtain and offer some insight into our decision to release the update in its current state, as well as what our next steps are moving forward.
Why?
To start, this past Chapter has been one of the most ambitious ones yet. The Twins are a very complex Killer to create , essentially working as two separate Killers. While we like to push the limits on what we can do with our new characters, that unfortunately brings with it more issues to be ironed out before their release.
In order to push an update, we need to create a version of the game and submit it for approval on each platform in advance. This process can take longer depending on how large the update is, with Chapter releases taking the longest to be approved. Unfortunately, this leaves us with less time than it seems to identify and resolve issues.
Between the Player Test Build (PTB) and live releases, we typically have about five days for identifying issues, making changes and, finally, finding and implementing fixes before we need to submit a version. Starting the PTB earlier is not ideal since the weeks leading up to the PTB are spent fine tuning and fixing bugs, so an earlier version would not be suitable for testing. In this window, we focus on the most pressing issues that were identified on the PTB. Once the update is submitted, we immediately start working on the first bugfix patch, which usually needs to be submitted a day or two after the update hits the live version of the game (this is why you may notice that the first bugfix patch focuses mostly on lingering issues from the PTB).
To address the elephant in the room: Why wasn’t the update delayed in that case? This is always a very difficult decision to make, delaying an update would give us some much-needed time to fix more issues that were reported during the PTB, but on the other hand, the feedback we receive from the live release is invaluable. The live release gives us visibility on other platforms, and the amount of feedback and reports we receive from the live update makes identifying, reproducing and fixing certain bugs much quicker. With the holidays quickly approaching, we want to make sure that we have room to release bugfix patches—the last thing we want is to release a big update at the last second and potentially leave the game in rough shape over the holidays.
There’s bound to be discussion about whether or not this was the right decision, and understandably so. We are taking feedback on this into consideration very seriously for the future.
So what’s next?
The first bugfix patch is releasing today: This patch bundles twice as many bug fixes as a typical release, prioritizing the most critical and visible issues from the 4.4.0 update. Here’s a short list of some of the most noteworthy changes and fixes coming in today’s update:
- Victor can now hold a Survivor in a locker
- Reverted changes to Flashlight accuracy
- Fixed missing visual feedback when blinding a Killer with a Flashlight
- Fixed an issue that could cause Victor to get stuck in the ground when released
- Fixed an issue that allowed Survivors to crawl out the exit gates when downed while Victor was on their back
- Fixed an issue that caused Survivors to briefly see their own scratchmarks
We aim to release a second bugfix patch next week that will contain more fixes (perk issues, level design issues, and various improvements). As for the remaining major issues, we have been able to reproduce them internally and are working on fixes for each of them. We are aiming to fix as many of these issues as possible with the second bugfix patch, with any leftovers slotting into a future update.
Finally, we want to take a moment to say thank you for understanding and for reporting the issues you’ve come across. If you haven’t already, please remember to log into the game before December 10th 2PM Eastern to claim 300,000 free Bloodpoints. We know this doesn’t change any issues you have been facing, this is a token of appreciation for sticking with us as our team works on resolving any remaining known issues.
There are multiple reasons why what they did is better than waiting. Least you could do was to inform yourself and argue against them.
-
What if .... Time outside of Terror radius (slowly added) and Cleansing Totems added more charges to the Perk?
-
-
Hopefully they wont DC now.

None of those points change the fact that Mori’s, even with their new change, still mitigate those issues.
A player can play around them, or 100% not have to deal with those issues at all at endgame by using a mori.
Why do you think PH has been so popular? Keep them tormented till they’re in death hook. Now that survivor is 100% dead and nothing at all can be done by them, or their team mate.
I love how you disregard all of the points without any argument about the values of each mitigation. But whatever.
Listen @TheClownIsKing unlike PH who can disregard these at any point, The Mori Offering is now not worth its rarity in bloodpoints and gives Survivors amble warning that I can act like a PH on the last hooking, its so incredible niche use its soo bad. Yes Mori offerings had to go, they were so bad, but making Offerings terrible is not good either and BHVR HAS TO FIX THIS LATER. Look at how many posts there are, people questioning the worth of this offering now. This hotfix has reduced a bad offering to a very niche offering.
-
You need to find the Generator before the Survivor or lock down two remaining survivors to avoid one escaping to hatch.
4K isnt so easy as they say it is.
-
TRUUUUUUUUUU!
The change is a good change, I think it will increase the health of the game.
But you are right, they are not worth their price in Bloodpoints.
-
Nah, the Mori Animation is pretty niche and disadvantageous. Sure it has its use sometimes in a blue moon.
- Mitigate DS - No, by a late stage in the game a DS is usually already burned off or me keeping a mental note of it allows me sift through remaining survivors.
- Mitigate FlipFlop, SoulGuard, Unbreakable - Bold of you to assume that you would have enough time use that perk against me. Im a fast hooker. and Unbreakable is only one use.
- Mitigate Flashligh Saves - No, a smart Killer always checks surroundings first or faces as wall or Lightborn.
- Mitigate Pallet Saves - No, a smart Killer always checks surroundings first or avoids walking through pallets or Hex: Blood Favour.
As you can see any Killer worth their salt, Having been trained by this game will find only niche use in the Mori.
Not to mention Survivors can escape while you Mori.
-
Pop is used by many big time Killer Mains, Its worth it for sure.

My personal opinion is that they are both equally harmful and they should both be fixed as both are mechanics in the game that can grossly tip the scale in a game in favor of one side but they should've reworked them both and released them at the same time and not have don't such a lazy and bad rework for the mori
Nope, thats a wrong personal opinion. There has been a strong Killer sided push for this change as well for months now, We all know that this will not tip anything in Survivors favor, Killers are plenty strong without Moris and the stats show this. Objective numbers my dude.
Sure, this does not leave the Mori Offering looking great, its pretty useless, but a hotfix is better than waiting for it.
-
I think Why is simple enough, Think about it, Moris are the number one reason Survivors left the game.
So at some point the complaints about them will require an action, But dont forget many Killer mains have also supported this change.
BHVR once again shows they listen to the community, those who cry about the Moris change are the minority.
The only real bad thing is that the Mori Offering is so incredibly niche and almost useless its a sham offering and not worth bloodpoints.
We can only hope BHVR will do a proper change down the line.
-
Moris were objectively more harmful to the game than Keys. But BHVR has now reduced a scummy Offering to an incredibly niche Offering, I dont want useless Offerings. Why should I use by hard earned bloodpoints on a almost zero benefit offering?
BHVR, You gotta fix Moris later, this is real good but also minor bad.
-
No, BHVR should have disabled the Offering until they could spend more time on it to make it both worthy of our bloodpoints and not unfun for Survivors.
