Cause, EVERY SINGLE FRIEND of mine has been dealing with frame rate drops, glitched animations, forced disconnects from games, lag to no end, rubber banding every single match, the list could go on. I don't believe that statement from you a single bit. Can you show us what exactly made you come to that conclusion? Cause before the update yesterday, this forum was filled with posts that directly contradict what you said. I definitely can show you proof of that and you know it too.

@NoOneKnowsNova it is inderectly their fault since they work for them. They chose to be a face for the company they are required to face the fire too. The only difference is it's THEIR JOB to sit here and manage the community and at every single turn they personally fail at it. Answering specifical bits of a thread, but ignoring the entire enderlying point is poor community management and just cause you worship the ground BHVR walks on doesn't mean I have to as well, nor will I.

Lol ever since moris got nerfed I've been running blood warden, infectious fright, noed, and hex undying. I'm not screwing around with these 4 key lobbies and I'll slug every single person until they're all getting hooked. Welcome to the world of dead by daylight when the developers decide to show their bias to us blatantly.

Dead by daylight is one of the only competitive game that balances for low skill players. No other competitive based game really does that. They balance for the highest tier of play so that the lowest tier has something to work towards and the high end players have competition. If you have a solid model that works at the highest tier then the lowest tier by default will be taken care of. A large majority of this games issues directly correlate to the fact y'all cater to new players at every turn when you should be telling them to play and get more experience and then move on to the top tier suggestions.

So the way I see it, they didn't announce mori changes for a reason. They already confirmed they would change both and have confirmed an update this next week. The keys are going to get a hard nerf that's unannounced with that update I'd bet.

@Dabihwow they did have a killer test mode sorta. The splinter offerings let you play as killers you hadn't purchased to get a feel for them with no perks. The offerings showed up too much and wasted people's bloodwebs so they got permanently disabled.

@Hoodied okay I'll use another example then. Bungie on November 10th removed hundreds of dollars worth of paid dlc content from their game. The first 2 years of dlc was removed along with all of its weapons, armors, and quests that came with them. The reason being was they wanted to improve the game vastly and not focus on dead content that was slowing their engine down. People cried and threatened to stop playing and they still did it anyway and nothing has changed about the player base. Temporarily removing content to address bigger issues is a perfect thing to do when content you released messes up the game itself. Sure, you wouldn't get to play those characters for however long they take them out for but, that's the name of the game. You bought the right to play the character while they're in game not the property of the character. Therefore if they even decided to remove them permanently you still wouldn't be entitled to a refund. It works the same with games. You may own a copy of the disc but, you purchased the luxury to play the game not the rights to the content which can be revoked at any point for legitimate reasons. That's why you don't get refunds when you get perma banned from games.

Eh if that happens then that means you got your 2 kills which evens out. Not every game is a 4k.

@SenzuDuck considering there's only 2 possible ways to purchase the chapter amongst the tens of thousands of people, I'd go ahead and say its not hard at all. However, I'll reiterate to you as well that you don't need to refund people anything to temporarily remove content from a game. If they permanently removed it, sure, they'd have to refund you. If they have the intent to re enable the content though then there is absolutely no need to refund anybody a penny.

@Orion I have no sympathy man for people who paid for content and lose it. I spent of $100 on destiny content they took out of the game recently and I'm not complaining. However, you're misunderstanding the post at its core which is to revert the chapter until they can fix it. That's not an issue that requires refunding anybody any amount of money. If the character is returning guaranteed when the chapter re releases then there's no need to refund anybody a penny.

@NoOneKnowsNova yeah, the developers are notorious for not actually knowing how fanbases work when it comes to the grand scheme of things. Also notorious for releasing BS content and openly admitting they take good ideas and willfully butcher them so they aren't our ideas anymore in game. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

@BigBrainMegMain ds isn't even that bad, you're just not good at recovery from it. Don't chase the person who just stunded you, what a waste of time. Go to the next survivor and start patrolling gens to make up for the stun time. Y'all keep complaining about ds like it's the worst perk in game when it's really not that big of a deal. Eat the stun and move on.

Im gonna go ahead and add to the flashlight bugs. Go into a trial with a flashlight as any female character and try and walk as slow as possible. Have fun watching the crazy ass chicken dance that occurs. Such a bugged animation and is hideous to see lol

My only complaint with new ormond is there's a natural rock wall outside of the main building that you can climb on top of. The killer can get up there as well but, every killer I play has trouble not falling off of it unlike survivors. I dont know it that was an intended spot but, it's very weird and feels out of place completely.

The matchmaking gets no better I promise you that. I'm a rank 1-2 killer depending on the matches and I'll get thrown into lobbies with all ranks 20's....there's no system and they like to lie publicly and pretend there is a system in place that matches us. If there was remotely ANY matchmaking system somebody would've figured it out with all the statistics people on the forums collect. Fact of the matter is that there isn't one and they can lie through their teeth all day but, it doesn't change anything. Unfortunately behavior is one of the scummiest studios in the market right now but, they have a single game that got popular ( they weren't expecting it to I promise you that ) and now they have no idea how to manage it due to them being an amateur indie studio who pretends they're more than they are.

I think the developer lost the plot again after a few months of good content. They are releasing a killer who genuinely is a bad design and bad gameplay all around. Ill put her down there with legion in my opinion. On top of that they're doing a clown rework when they know killers like wraith, trapper, and legion are the ones who need it the absolute most no contest. Yet, they twiddle their thumbs and fix completely irrelevant things yet again.

So to answer practically all of this simply, no. Trail of torment only deactivates when the kicked generator stops regressing, the timer runs out, or you hit another survivor.

I play as pyramid head and oni for my mains so I haven't really had a problem with it at all yet.

Horrible demo perk setup, horrible gameplay decisions. It's clear there's a giant skill gap in this scenario seeing as you don't know when to end a chase. You're already hindering yourself playing as demo. He's one of the worst killers unless survivors are completely brain dead. I don't think you should be posting youtube videos about your opinion on balancing when you yourself aren't in the league of play to really understand the mechanics as a whole.

@xenotimebong if you think dead by daylight isnt competitive I think you don't understand what the game is. It started out as a casual solo game and as soon as they introduced swf this game became competitive. Now there is more pressure on killers than ever before to get kills before the gens all finish. When you have a game that's 1 vs 4 it's inherently going to turn into a competitive game. Beyond that though, there's ranks due to the fact this game is competitive.

@xenotimebong I hate to tell you but, that's not how competitive balancing works. You have to balance at the top tier of play and then the lower tiers have a really high ceiling to improve on and reach over time. Every single competitive game balances around their most skilled players and by default it balances the game for the new players and anybody in between. It also helps seperate the different skill gaps better. As much as I hate being that guy, they should take no consideration of new player experience when balancing. If they do it right, the new player experience will be fine from any high tier balance changes they make.

@PlayerLUE I genuinely don't understand what you're getting at man. Your free time isn't somebody's concern if they get a work call or a family member shows up or anything in between. You genuinely don't seem to want to have a reasonable discussion on this topic though. It would appear you would rather spread negativity than have a genuine conversation on how your viewpoint is toxic to the community itself. Dcing is a problem, I get it but, people have lives outside of the game even when the games running. If you want to suggest a solution to the problem then rally behind behavior implementing dc bots like the mobile version has.

@PlayerLUE also, if I'm playing the game and out of nowhere my family shows up, that's always gonna take priority. If my dog pisses on my floor and what not. Like, unknown variables exist and it's that simple. People don't have to not play because life exist outside of their bedroom.

Oni all day man. Oni with infectious fright, and pop is a god tier killer in the right hands. Blight is good but I'd out him up against oni and oni would win any day in my personal opinion. Onis tracking ability is super helpful in some situations, his add ons really can help you fine tune his ability to your liking.

I don't think anything is going to be done to change undying and ruin if we're going to be perfectly honest. It has counterplay the exact same way that noed does. DO BONES. Theres absolutely no reason to believe there will be a patch on the perks again. They already defended the fact undying let's you see auras by saying it was essentially a weaker version of thrill of the hunt in that aspect and that most killers won't see your aura during the 2 second time period unless they are camping totems.

Y'all are misinformed. The first drop for 2,750 was on October 30th after 11am. The second one was on October 31st after 11am. November 1st started the 500 shard reward after 11am. You misread the chart it said October 30 - November 1st which means the next currency amount starts the 1st.

@Chechia yeah if you dc for any reason other than an internet glitch then you're in the wrong. I understand real life but even i just drop the controller and walk away and take the loss of life issues comes up. I didn't realize this guy was a hypocrite and it kinda makes sense why he's getting ######### talked on here. Unlike him though, just know plenty of us have legit crash issues and we're not just leaving cause we had a bad game against a camping bubba.

@Chechia it's been that way ever since they first implemented dedicated servers. Once they disabled them everything went to hell on my end for no apparent reason. I will say ever since pyramid heads release I didn't have a single lag issue or disconnect issue until they started the Halloween event. The day of the event starting is when my game started to crash outrageously and I started disconnecting for no reason. I love dead by daylight for what it is but, if there's a part of the game that isn't working correctly then the logical thing is to remove it until it does. You can browse the forums and find numerous dc ban posts every single day and that's just from the player base that knows of the forums and actively posts here. The silent majority exists and it's impossible for us to comprehend how big the problem is just from the posts here alone.

@Chechia I'm not trying to argue or anything but dude, I play destiny 2 every single day with zero issues with lag. I play halo daily as well with zero lag. Dead by daylights graphics don't hold a candle to those games man. It's not the graphics, it's their game having issues and it's really that simple man. It's increasingly frustrating we get dismissed as the minority everytime we post something or we get smacked with people who wanna insult us or blame us. It's demoralizing especially when you've done nothing wrong.

Don't worry buddy. @MandyTalk informed me that it's our fault their game bans people because it's our responsibility to not have "bad internet". I literally told them I play destiny 2 daily with zero lag ever and yet, it's still my internet's fault and not the development teams fault. Don't worry behavior just blames us now so they don't have to address issues.

@MandyTalk i play destiny 2 with ZERO internet issues. Please try again. Whatever is happening is directly caused by the game not my internet which runs every game I play perfectly except this one. You're statement is made off an assumption that my internet is the issues and it's not.

My bad habit is I'll wait to hook survivors as Oni until my power is charged. I'll then stay close enough that I can activate my ability when I see somebody go for the unhook and make it to the hook and down both during the unhooking. It's a bad habit I always fall into if the game isn't going in my favor and I need a snowball.

Anybody who says swf is a required part of gameplay, y'all clearly dont understand how this game was originally designed around solo play and swf didn't exist yet. They shouldn't nerf it, they shouldn't buff solo to swf, they shouldn't buff killer base kit to compensate. They should remove it completely from ranked play and only allow swf in custom games.

With my oni I use bitter murmor, infectious fright, pop, and whispers or deathbound. If I have my power available when a gen pops it usually gets me a pretty good down and can be the cause of a snowball effect if I'm not running whispers and see all the survivors together at a single gen.

For me personally I was most excited for the onis chapter. I love the lore of oni demons in real world so I was thoroughly excited for him in game. I still main him and I don't see it changing anytime soon. He just seems like the kind of killer you can't beat no matter what ( even though you totally can ) and I love that.

Im still gonna hit y'all while you're locked in animations. They claim they fixed it but really they didnt. The only thing they addressed is him faking his power during those scenarios.

@MandyTalk that's a bold statement claiming Friday the 13th died and didn't last as long as you. They just recently had an update to the game. I can log on there any day and guaranteed be in a lobby quicker than dead by daylight. I enjoy both games thoroughly but that's just simply a bold claim on your behalf.
