Well first this is ringu so it's the original japanese version with sadako so...it's right there, secondly sadako is the main version most demographics are familiar with so it's most likely sadako out of all of them regardless which you think is a better pick or "fits better" lore wise
-
calm down first, artist just came out no killer gets new cosmetics super fast, second sometimes characters insperations get added it's fine it's why we have bubba and billy as for the artist no one has forgotten about her she is still a strong top tier meta killer and she'll get more skins in time especially since they dropped her a skin for the event.

from the teaser cover we saw and going off if space coconut is right it's probably one of the witch sisters.

What’s it going to take to get Twins players to use Charlotte more? The answer to this question is probably the adjustment needed for the Twins.
but victor is the power by making changes like this and forcing players to use charlotte more your taking away the ability to want to use your own power more and punishes you for when you do you it. Do you not see how that's a problem?
-
looking at the comments you really seem to be out-numbered and in the minority the changes they made where good you just have to be aware of when it goes off and be good at avoiding the killer the only people imagine complaining about the changes is people who abused the old OoO and stayed half way across the map from the killer the entire game and used it to cheese loops and walls.
-
@Steel_Eyed said:
Because the devs don’t want Twin players using Victor for mass slugging. His power is incapacitating and snitching out other survivors. Many of the addons cause effects when removing Victor.
Use Charlotte more.
i understand that but the way to address that isn't to punish players for hitting attacks and making the character to feel bad to play and clunky when it comes to playing them, i understand a lot of survivors dislike the twins but that isn't how you balance a character.
-
probably because they're licensed characters and like all lincensed sets they can't be seperated because then it would break some kind of agreement i don't know why it matters so much they aren't bad skins

Okay yeah sure there isn't.

The undying change is much needed. They've made it much harder to find totems so having to cleanse something twice is more than enough. Four times is too much.
Making them harder to find means nothing when you have a semi meta perks completely built around rng and whether someone just happens to run into it or not.
-
@jester20k said:
Sorry not sorry that ruin undying isn't there to carry bad killers to undeserved wins anymore. It cannot be denied that this combo was extremely bad for the game.
Yeah say this to every bad survivor who relys on second chance perks and crutch perks that they all love to use so much

Moris were objectively more harmful to the game than Keys. But BHVR has now reduced a scummy Offering to an incredibly niche Offering, I dont want useless Offerings. Why should I use by hard earned bloodpoints on a almost zero benefit offering?
BHVR, You gotta fix Moris later, this is real good but also minor bad.
My personal opinion is that they are both equally harmful and they should both be fixed as both are mechanics in the game that can grossly tip the scale in a game in favor of one side but they should've reworked them both and released them at the same time and not have don't such a lazy and bad rework for the mori
-
@Crowman said:
Keys are no where near as bad as Moris. We can stop acting like they are absolute equals in power and deserved to be addressed at the same time.
Keys are going to get nerfed, just be patient.
Firstly keys and mori's are both op they both are items/things in the game that majorly changes the outcome of the game the problem with this is like I said they nerfed mori's in a way that made them pointless to use without fixing keys at the same time, the problem isn't that I know they're going to rework keys it's the fact that they nerfed one before the other and did it in a lazy way while cramming it into a bug fix without warning and now people will be using keys like hell now that they now they'll be changed in 2-3 months.

I did, so you want everyone to suffer for 2 months? Just be happy that they got rid of 1 of them. You wanna complain so fast? Know what you're talking about.
Yes I'm complaining and I have the right to they are both a problem and should be addressed at the same time and now that mori's have been nerfed and people know keys are soon to follow in the next 2-3 months people are going to use them like hell because I was playing earlier and had 4 games in a row with skeleton keys.

Killer mechanic: absolutely ######### broken and OP
Developers: Let's make it healthier for the game and nerf it!
Half the killer playerbase: oMg SuRvIvOr-SiDeD
Survivor mechanic: absolutely ######### broken and OP
Developers: Let's make it healthier for the game and nerf it!
Half the survivors: oMg KiLlEr-SiDeD
absolutely pathetic
You say this but the game and the devs actions have shown survivor sidedness the fact that you say this and anyone who says the game is killer sided are the people who are dumb if you can play a game where one side can absolutely dominate you to the point where there is nothing you can do if they're a good team with good perks than that shows it pretty well to me.

Do some research and use your brain before speaking. Mandy said that the keys are taking more time because of animation changes, addons are being changed, and bc moris were more powerful.
It's common sense that keys are items, so they'll take longer to fix.
It's common sense why don't you think before you try and correct someone

It's still the fact they could have changed them at the same time rather than cramming the mori changes into the bugfix unannounced it's still the fact that for a good month or two the keys will remain the same and mori's will be useless
-
I think before you jump ahead of yourself and start crying and complaining about tombstone myers you should be more about getting the keys nerfed as well since they didn't nerf keys and nerfed mori's in a way that makes them effectively useless overall.
-
1. I found the survivor main
2. The problem with it I see personally is just the fact that they didn't release them at the same time they just changed the mori without warning without any testing or anything they just changed it and they didn't even change the most OP survivor item so people are allowed to be upset over it
-
Um there is it's called just do gens, if everyone focuses on gens then you can slam all three while the killer face camps I'm tired of people crying and complaining about something that doesn't work if you use a little bit of game sense and are okay with sacrificing a teammate for the whole instead of getting everyone killed because you wanted to be altruistic.

It’s survivor sided for the high skill level play. And reaching skill ceiling is generally not as hard for survivor as it is for killer.
also I said there are players on both sides behaving like this. There is no need to make this another ‚us vs them‘ topic.
I wasn't really trying to I was just pointing out the fact that it somewhat contributes to that because when you play killer a lot you sometimes get into a mindset where you have to sweat a lot or at least try pretty hard against survivors because your used to running into sweaty swf's

Honestly I can't think of a single trick or interesting bit of tech I've found with new Freddy. Believe me I've tried but I don't think there is a single interesting quirk with his power. There is a way to play him that may need a bit of learning but it's such a simple playstyle that has almost no variation to it. Like for example I can easily tell who's a good Demo, or Blight or Billy etc, not just if they're a good killer player in general. I can't do the same with Freddy players. They're all the same. It's the same with Spirit, I can't tell with her either, they all just blend together because their playstyles are very one-dimensional and have nothing interesting for players to express themselves with. At least imo.
Okay well I get where your coming from but I don't know why people/survivors are so against having one or two easy killers to play or use, I don't see where it's inherently wrong to have a killer with a power that's easy to grasp and easy to understand and generally more forgiving in both play style and experience.

Hmmm. Yeah, the matchmaking can be frustrating if you keep getting good squads, but im sure there's room to improve. Better mind games maybe? Idk, just know you'll have a day with a lot of wins to make up for it.
Yeah hopefully maybe when I play the new killers I might have better luck
-
@Exerath1992 said:
What did you do wrong to let them escape?
If I knew I would tell you the only bad mistake I made in any of those was in the doc game committed to a chase or two too long, aside from that I really didn't do much wrong it's just sadly with how this game is there's nothing you can do against a good swf or even lone survivor who's communicating and knows what they're doing.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
Old Freddy was overall meh without the right build and playstyle, but he was definitely unique and had a cool concept for a power that just needed something else to be added to it.
New Freddy is a mess of cookie-cutter killer mechanics with no kind of significant drawback or significant strengths that give him any identity or anything interesting. You don't need to think about any kind of weaknesses or drawbacks, you don't need to learn anything or adapt to any kind of playstyle or exploit strengths you just play him without thought and it works. It's so ######### dull and boring.
So yeah I wouldn't mind old Freddy back tbh.
I wouldn't totally say that someone who has been playing freddy for a long while is obviously is gonna be better and know how to utilize his kit more than say someone who's only been playing him for a few days, there is somewhat a way to play him and there's always a mix up with snares and pallets so I wouldn't see he's super dumb and takes no skill because like all killers there is tricks and technical things you will pick up.
-
Funny you make this argument when survivors are typically the absolute sweatlords who play in swf's and try and bully killers and have the power role in the terms of they have so much more to work with and strong crutch perks that have little to no counter play. But yes some killers can be sweatlords but there are more survivors in the community than killers and survivors are usually toxic as hell.
-
@Mooks said:
Funny thing is, those are probably the ones crying the most that the game is survivor sided.
but there are players on both sides like this, see 4 man sweat swf possibly with a token brown rank (family shared account I guess?) to screw matchmaking even more than it does on its own.
Bruh the game is survivor sided like so many people have said it even some fog whispers the devs cater to the survivors op perks with little to none counter play and slap on exhaustion onto some perks and call them "fair" or "balanced"
-
I only disagree with the comment about demo I think blight or even deathslinger is much much worse
-
I don't know what killers your talking for but I don't think anyone wants old freddy back he was so weak and powerless he was almost unplayable new Freddy is actually a good killer and is actually strong if your only reason for wanting old freddy is wanting consistency from the movies then your in the wrong place because old freddy is never coming back ((god let's hope))
-
Reasons why your wrong:
1. Regarding to your first comment, you can dodge his shots at a close range that isn't his maximum the same way you would any other killer with a ranger projectile
2. What you list makes huntress poor in design, like being able to hit someone with a hatchet after they drop a pallet, that just makes her stronger than the deathslinger and forces survivors to be more aware of the actions and adapt to the killer
3. Multiple killers other than those two can use the zoning tactic with their power ((demo,pyramid head,clown,bubba,and Billy so it's not just exclusive to them))
4. It's just a really bad take because everyone knows huntress is a pretty good killer with a higher skill cap and someone who takes time and patience to learn while deathslinger is slow moving,has horrid teachables, and takes someone who knows how to play killer well to win matches do to his limited kid and being add on and perk reliant
-
I wouldn't really expect it because the main reason it takes so long is the abundance of survivor mains/people playing survivors and not enough people wanting to play killer for multiple reasons ((stress,being bullied,most of the survivor/community not liking killers)) so unlike other games where there would be a way to fix it there really isn't there unless there is a shortage of survivor's or a influx of killers.

-
@Venzhas said:
Whine whine whiiiiine
Here's the problem, the entitled survivor
-
And another note to what you said about perks and how being a better player will let you win no matter what, yeah that's true, IF your a survivor because due to how heavily the devs cater to the survivors it has been shown and proven there is nothing a killer can do against a swf group with communication,meta perks, and toolboxes so your wrong perks and add ons change the game a lot and if you think otherwise your wrong.
-
Omg I have never heard a dumber take like gosh how do you come up with this stuff? Oh? You don't play in tournaments? In this defaultly competitive game called Dbd? Then you don't get to complain about balance! You who has hundreds of hours in the game and have played multiple varying matches changed by perks and varying levels of skill? Nope your opinion doesn't matter! People like you don't know what they're talking about, this argument may work for other games but Dbd is defaultly a competitive game and everyone has a right to complain about balance and meta within reason.

Which is why in parenthesis I said to improve upon it as a perk. Make it something actually useful, instead of, as you say yourself, something that has such a small effect in the game. Something useable by everyone, and something that becomes more effective for those that 'need' it.
Make it the in-chase based version of Play with Your Food. Reduce the time it takes to reach each tier, lose all stacks when performing any action.
Take Beast of Prey, Make it increase your movement speed by 5% for every 7/6/5s you're in a chase, up to three times. Gaining the Undetectable status the third time. Lose this bonus when performing any action or becoming stunned.
Hell, could give it the Token treatment:
Beast of Prey: Every 5s in a chase, you gain a Token, lose all Tokens when performing any action.
1 Token, gain a 5% bonus to movespeed.
2 Tokens, become Undetectable.
3 Tokens, You apply Deep Wounds on your next Basic Attack if the Survivor is not put into the Dying State.
But this is what I'm saying there's nothing wrong with bloodlust it doesn't need any of these at most you could tweak bloodlust 3 because that's the only time when it gets bad and I couldn't imagine anyone using beast of prey even if they did change it to that ((especially considering deep wound is actually useless)) ands it's already usable by everyone I don't understand your point because there is no reason to make it a perk Because it wouldn't get that much value at anything below grey possibly green ranks plus like you basically said we have play with your food so why would we need to have it like that? One of my biggest stances in this game and I stand by it now, survivors will complain about anything even if it makes no sense at all.
-
@darktrix said:
Whenever I see posts like this I reserve my opinion since it only one side giving their story. Camping, ebony mori, what else did you do that was toxic and you expect them to return love for it?
This person, this person right here officer, your part of the problem just because a killer brings a mori doesn't make them "toxic" just because survivors don't like them.
-
No one relies on bloodlust to get hits unless your really bad there are still really bad loops that are basically infinite removing bloodlust is just a bad idea and taking away more from the killers show BHVR's survivor sidedness by listen to all the bad/baby survivors who aren't good and don't know how to deal with bloodlust and your apart of the problem by saying we should adapt because it will be gone and I don't think any survivors will adapt their builds to no bloodlust other than maybe a increase in vault builds to make infinite vault loops even worse.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Then make it part of a perk (and improve upon it). not something applied to all Killers as essentially a 5th kinda-######### perk that needs to be balanced around.
If it's that effective it'll help shift up the meta if a Killer wants to be UBER-M1 MACHO MAN.
I simply think your wrong and your part of the problem bloodlust is only helpful to new killers and they shouldn't have to waste a whole perk slot to use something that has such a small effect in the game compared to other perks the only time you can say bloodlust is a problem is bloodlust three and like I said good survivors know how to deal with bloodlust by knowing how to lose the killer or end the chase by forcing a pallet break and meta shifting perks change the meta for a reason because of there usage or flexibility/synergy with other perks of you just made bloodlust into a perk no one would use it and it wouldn't change the meta.
-
@Malum_Midnight said:
I dont think that’s a BHVR issue as it is an issue of consoles themselves
Like I said it was mainly just an idea that would possibly make things either more helpful or just be a quality of life thing for the console communities at most it would provide proof of bugs and other things they don't find like with the ps4 no one knew the frame rate was gonna be low until the update was put in effect, at least it would just be access to the ptb for console players and just be for quality purposes and nothing else.

I play both, also is it complaining because I am curious to why they don't lose rank because of lack of skill? And shouldn't you excell if your top rank? I've played against red killers who didn't mori until it was after your 2nd hook, and some with no perks at all.. those are the skilled deserving players.
Well people who do that are either nice or memeing because no one does that for fun as for when someone uses a mori that's just based on someone's moral compass and whether or not they want to just kill you and get you out of the way and when not to.
-
Well now think for a second maybe it's to possibly counter the OP survivor perks that they slap exhaustion on to make them less OP, because if it's only these two killers then that's not much because one isn't played too much and the other is and most people I don't think run exhaustion on huntress over like irihead or one of the belts or faster reload.
-
I sorta get what your saying but that's just a system that wouldn't work for a large variety of reasons but I'll list some firstly it would be extremely limiting to characters simply meaning you'll only see a few killers and survivors only seeing the same couple of survivor's and killer's every match secondly this would deter people from playing who they want and stop them from playing their favorite character with the perks they want and third it's just not a good idea as the adverse effects would mess the game up. as for why the matchmaking is like that, that's just dbd matching.
-
First it's easy to see who the survivor main is and second not everyone does this maybe everyone you run into but it can't be helped sometimes it just depends on the person it sucks to suck and you don't get to complain about camping because it's not a good strategy. If you lost to camping it's because all of you and your teammates where too altruistic and instead of just slamming gens you all sacrificed yourself for one teammate.
-
Eh for now I think it's fine, I get your point but the perks stack and there's not much more reason to change it other than just quality of life purposes it's mainly just a slow down perk that can easily be countered by a team that communicates well and stays healed so it can be countered by and swf or even just a bunch of random a that work well together.
